Brify my account - looking for credit card info and sin number - how do I verify this is actually an apple request
I have received a disturbing email about my account - how do I verify this actually came from apple before continuing when the site is requesting credit card and sin number information?
Apple would never request such information through email. If at all it would ask you to verify it in your own device.
You can ignore it and consider it a phishing scam.

Dont trust apple for my credit card info on my iphone5s. So is there any work around? dont want to change the appleID.
Cant get the option of None in payment options. Even tried it by selecting my region as US.
Tried to sign in from Icloud as well but it doesnt work.
Please help..Unless you followed, exactly, the instructions on the HT2534 page that you posted from then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used in the store - you should be able to remove your card's details after entering it

itunes was deleted from laptop after changing credt card infor and password. How do I get it back along with all of its contents?
I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

When logging on to my apps on my I phone 3 when I try to download an app an it sends me to my credit card info and it is all stored. And has been but now it keeps telling me my cvv# on back of my card is wrong! I of course know it is not wrong but it will not let me proceed! This is so frustrating! I have an itunes store account, etc. I lost all my info when I had to "restore" my iphone.
I wasn't able to do the "restore" until recently, gosh it was about 6mos or more ago when my iphone died...
So, as I get older I am having memory problems and haven't been able to access my itunes account.
Obviously when I did the "restore" on my iphone I lost all my info with it... So, wanting to use my iphone for
music, games, etc. I had to create a new apple id, fine, but when I wanted to download a "free" app it says
my apple id hasn't been used with itunes so it keeps asking for credit card info.
I do not remember ever having to have a credit card before!
I am so frustrated... First it was not being able to access my account then having to create a new one, fine!
But now I can't download "free" content without credit card information!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! UGH!!!!!!!

For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.

I think I had a similar problem the other day. I purchased an app with a cc that had been canceled by my bank with out me knowing it had been. Once I realized the cc was no longet active I added an itunes giftcard thinking that would allow me to purchase items. Well everytime I tried to ourchase somrthing with the new gift card it kept telling me that I had no funds. So someone in the apple store told me that until the app purchase with the old expired cc cleared on that cc then i would not be able to use any other form of payment. So I had to call my bank and asked them to reactivate my old cc for a couple seconds while I repurchased the app with my bank on the phone. Once that purchae cleared then it allowed me to use apple gift cards. Sorry for long answer but I think this might help you.

It sounds like you want to use your Apple ID without a credit card.
You can set your credit card to None in the billing information section of iTunes. This article will help you do that.

II have just put a $25 credit on my itunes acct. I previously had my credit card charged now it doesn't acknowledge my $25 credit only asks for credit card info. Is there something I have to do to charge my gift card?
How much is the cost of what you wish to buy? The credit is used first and credit card info wouldbe requested for any outstanding balance. The US store prices do not reflect the local sales taxes that are added in the final steps of the purchase transaction.
