Bright Light in Clip

I want to get rid of a bright light in a clip. Is there any way to cover it?

Ooh that's a toughie. Does it look like it would be kinda obvious if something were covering it up? I don't know what kind of video you're making, but if it were a travelogue or a music video, you could always have another video clip reduced as an inset over top of the area with the light....or if it was a commercial, a logo could go over that spot....but again, I don't know what you're making.
Are there any lens flares or spikes coming from the light that would make it hard to cover?
This is unorthodox, but you could clone the scene on another track and move the overlaid scene over to one side to cover that area with some sky, and crop the 2nd track real small so that it would be just enough to cover it....and feather the edges to try to make it blend in....but it's tricky to do and might not look totally seamless....

  • Bright light transition

i am looking for a transition similar to a dip to white color transition. i would like this to look a little different. it's hard to describe what i'm trying to find.
i would like for the video clip to dissolve to a bright light with the next clip to follow.
but i do not want the dip to color transition. does anyone know what i'm talking about.
they use it in movies alot when people come out of a "dream sequence" or something similar to that. thanks.

similarly you can use the 3 way color corector to keyframe blowing out the highlights ... in combnation with subtle use of the light rays filter and you might come up with a new look
if you do, be sure to post an example of how it turned out, with a quick how to guide for all the others to come who will want to recreate it
    good luck

my apple 6th gen nano turns on but only has a bright light without images

    Hi fejevitzky,
Your question, "Based upon that, I believe you are telling me you do not think it is the BIOS--is that correct?" Yes, as long as you dont see any "white" light reveal from LCD bezel back side while with blank screen state. LCD bezel is the cover around LCD, most design put LED modeule at the bottom side next to LCD. While back light is not on during boot up sequence, that means system doesnt have chance to get BIOS program running. It also means, it stuck at state of hardware bring up. Normally motherboard related.

This has been addressed by apple of which they said the customer is holding the phone wrong. There is not much you can do but try different shots and angles.

I would like to know, how can I produce the animation moving one bright light point ( like a moving star ) from one point to another
point, I have already the stage for that, what I would like to know is what would be the recommended RGB, blur effect to
simulate that. I found some RGB color combination, but I would like to know if could be better than that :
    RGB for Platinum color :  ( 229, 228, 226 )

  • My iphone 3g has a constant bright light

My iphone has a constant bright light. To get rid of it i have to reset but once i lock the screen the bright light returns. Any advice on how to fix this.

They won't be out of the current model. They keep a stock of service units and in the rare instance they are out, they simply order a service unit from a central warehouse. You won't get a 3G S as a replacement.

  • IPhone promimity sensor (?) emitting very bright light

A few days ago one of the sensors on my 3g iPhone has started emitting a bright light. The sensor is at the top of the phone, to the left of the earpiece. It's the sensor that has another directly above it. It looks like a small c with a circle in the middle. The iPhone hasn't been water damaged (and yes, I've checked the headphone socket and base of the phone). It's not a case of just seeing the sensor, the light is bright and constantly on; in the dark it looks like a red LED.
Can anyone, ahem, shed any light? I'm currently on holiday in a very hot Thailand (if that's of any help, I'm not just bragging)

Maybe you can just see infra-red? Seriously though, there may be a IR filter over the LED which has become dislodged. Normally it would only allow IR light to shine through, meaning you couldn't see it under normal circumstances.

  • Book printed to bright/light

    Hi,
when I got my first Aperture book, I was shocked by the bad quality: all images where printed too bright/light. I returned the book to Apple together with some JPEG exports (to iPhoto support) and they agree with me and will refund my money.
iPhoto support also suggested to try again but I'm afraid the same will happen again. The album was compiled and uploaded with 1.1.0 and I'm on 1.1.1 now.
Does anyone have a similar quality issue and when you submitted it again, was it better?
Does anyone know an alternative good (JPEG based) album print service which will deliver pro-quality?
    rgrds rgr

Just did my first Aperture book and yes the printing is definitely lighter than the screen images appear.
My guess is that it would be wise to create a display profile that matches the assumedly calibrated printed output so that I can achieve a closer match in future.
Colors all seemed about right. Cover image is peeling up right off the bat.

  • A really bright light just came on, on my husbands phone

I don't really know what he did, he doesn't either.  He said his phone was just sitting on his lap and this bright light (for the camera maybe?) came on and stayed on.  It finally went out, but now he wants to know how it came on?  I can't find it myself.  It was more like a flashlight mode?

It's the flashlight app built into Control Center.  Slide a finger up from the bottom of the screen to open Control Center.  Touch the flashlight icon.  (If the light went out because the battery was drained, you'll have to charge the phone.

  • Sharp bright light at the centre

Sharp bright light appears on my Lacie 17" CRT display intermittently which disppears and returns to normal after power off for some few minutes. The monitor is attached to my G4 machine with OS 9.2.2 and OS X 10.2.8 on it.
    Thanks for the help

    Hi Madori,
It sound as though you may have a heating issue.
The most common cause of this is a build-up of dust inside the computer and the monitor.
Try getting the dust out of your system, and see if that works.
    Cheers!

  • Reading in bright light

I bought the ipad for my wife to mostly read ebooks. We had it on vacation, as I'm sure many have experienced: it was extremely difficult to read outdoors in bright light. has anyone found a polarized film for the screen which might help that situation?

I've tried several. The one that came closest was the one from Power Support, but it wasn't good enough, IMHO. I use antiglare on my ipod and that works fine, but on the iPad it just diffuses the glare more, rather than eliminate it. And of course it does nothing about the way the screen washes out.
The ipad is just plain hard to see in bright light, I'm afraid. I had hoped the ipad 2 might be better, but it doesn't seem to be any different in this respect, alas.
It's one reason a lot of ipad owners have kept their kindles, too.

  • Bright light appearing while unlocking.

Bright light appearing on top left or right portion of the screen while unlocking as shown in the picture.
Any idea on why this happening?
    Thanks in Advance..

    Hey there Vishesh Narang,
It sounds like you are getting a flash of light in the upper left corner of your screen when you unlock the phone using Touch ID. I would start by quitting all the open apps first:
iOS: Force an app to close
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
    Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
If it persists, I would next backup your device to iTunes with this article:
iOS: How to back up and restore your content
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
And restore it from your backup with this article to delete the current iOS installation, and install a fresh copy
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1414
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,
    Sterling
