Brightness jumps to full when doing full screen application

When I have my brightness at a certain setting and then start playing a game, the brightness jumps to full. When I then press the button for less brightness, it jumps immediately to the setting it was originally.
This also happens whenever I do alt+tab to return to the desktop. So it appears it happens when I do something that requires to switch to full screen mode cause it also happens with other programs.
At normal use, surfing, office,... this problem does not occur
Any solution, cause it's really annoying

EAP Response frame is not always forwarded to the Radius Server when doing Full Authentications.

We have seen issues with a Cisco 5500 and 2405 WLAN controller with older and the latest controller firmware(8.x) of not forwarding the first EAP Response frame to the radius server on 802.1x WLAN devices doing full authentications. The first EAP Response frame from the WLAN client is supposed to be forwarded to the Radius server but a Wireshark trace shows that frame is never sent by the WLAN controller. The WLAN controller does ack the first EAP Response frame but the EAP response frame when the problem occurs always seems to be a retried packet. I do have all RRM and AP scanning turned off. This is an intermittent issue and only occurs on devices doing full authentications and does occur on multiple vendors products. This produces a 18-20 second drop-off until the station recovers by sending an EAP-Start frame and then it associates properly. Since the first EAP Response frame is never forwarded to the Radius server and the EAP Response frame is being ack’d on the retried packet, this seems to be a WLAN controller issues but I’m looking at all possibilities. Does anyone have any thoughts?

How to avoide duplicacy when doing Full Update from Datasource to Infocube

Hi,
I am loading the data from 0HR_PA_OS_1 datasource to infocube 0PAOS_C01 infocube.Implementing the standard Business content.
The Plan is to load the data Monthly Once.
If by mistake, if the data is loaded more than once in a month the duplicates will happen in the infocube.I need to avoid this situation.
I have 2 ways to avoid.But am looking for some effective ways in which it handles the upload effectively.
1)Giving the Option of Overlapping request by means of process chain.
2) Give the selections for the calmonth at the infopackage selections tab.
The drawback of the 1st method is that its just like deleting the number of records existing and loading a new request.
Say for eg in the month of June i have loaded the data which is around 1000 records.
If am going to load the data for the month of July which is around 10,000 records, then with the 1st methos what i have mentioned i need to delate the previous request containing 1000 records and in effect doing a full update which includes 10,000 records of july + 1000 records of june.
I don't want to do this since as the months go by the number of records gets increased in a single request.
regarding the 2nd method am not quite sure how much it will be effective.
Please let me know any possible ways other than this.

The problem with the 1st method is that as the day goes by the number of records in a single request increases which in turn will take quite a long time to get load and sometimes fails.
Is there any other way to handle the situation.

What are the Settings when doing Green Screen?

I had the green screen settings saved on my computer and somehow they've disappeared. I have been in the meantime just making an educated guess by using these settings:

No one can tell you what settings to use, it is unique to every single scene (and sometimes changes during the scene as well!). Start with the eydropper, then tweak settings until it looks as good as possible. Move sliders and watch results. I'm sure you can Google up some tutorials on setting the keyer controls.
As a constructive criticism, I viewed the YouTube videos (keyed and original) and forgetting about keying for a moment, the quality of the clip itself as just a video is very sub-par. I would never even make any attempt to key such a poor quality of source clip. Sorry. And close the shade, the light coming in from the left on the subjects arm is apparently also glaring into the lens and causing the washed out area in middle of image.
One does not need to spend big bucks on pro lighting. Go down to the hardware store and get some of the those shiny metal bowl type of light fixtures that have a spring clamp on them, less than $10. And get "GE Reveal" bulbs, which create a nice clean light (standard incansdescent bulbs have a reddish cast).
Get your subject farther from the green background, and light the background separately. Throw some light at the background, as even as possible, such as one light angled in from each side, and then put another light or two on the subject. That is a good starting point. Use manual white balance on camera and get a good focus and you should be in business.

MX 922 - "no paper" (but full) when printing from SOME applications

I CAN print from my ipad "notes" application. I CANNOT print from a web page or my photos. The MX 922 says it is out of paper - BUT IT ISN'T. I don't get this error when printing from my ipad "notes" ap. I am frustrated and about to take it back to Costco.

Please place paper in the upper cassette, making sure that the small size photo paper such as 4" x 6" (10 x 15 cm) or 5" x 7" (13 x 18 cm), or Hagaki are loaded.
Please note that if you cut plain paper into small size such as 4" x 6" (10 x 15 cm) or 5" x 7" (13 x 18 cm) and try to print on it, the paper jam will occur.
Once the paper is in place, align the paper guides with the both edges of the paper and the press the OK button.
Please attempt to print.

My cursor does not disappear when watching full screen movies

I have a rMBP running Mountain Lion, everything is up to date. Like I said when watching full screen videos my cursor arrow does not dissapear. I am new to OSX so is this normal or do I have my settings set up wrong. Its not a huge deal, just getting more annoyed with each video, thanks for your help.

I have the same problem, but in addition, if the cursor doesn't disappear completely the video control menus stay glued to the bottom of the full screen. I may have to switch back to my pc to watch.....

ITunes high pitch noise when in full screen on 27" iMac11,1

When running iTunes 10.5.1 in full screen mode on Lion 10.7.2, I get a faint, high pitch noise coming from my speakers. If I run iTunes in a refular window, the noise does not manifest itself. I can switch back and forth between one full screen app and iTunes, and the noise goes on and off and only manifests itself in iTunes.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I think I've found a workaround. The problem doesn't only happen in iTunes, but also in the Finder's list view when in full screen.
The workaround is to use Shades, a small utility that creates a uniform black color mask over my screen. All I had to do was set the brightness of my screen to 100%, run shades and lower the "brightness" using that utility to something comfortable for my eyes.
I think the issue comes from the high frequency flicker that the LED back light uses when the screen is being dimmed. For some reason, the speakers pick up on it when in list view... Why only list view? Beats me.

Is there a keyboard shortcut to jump directly to a particular full screen app in Lion?

When you full screen an application in Lion, it "flies out" of the desktop space it started in, and winds up at the end of the spaces list (assuming you have turned off auto-arranging).
As a result if the app being pulled out of the spaces flow, there is no way to ctrl+1/2/3etc to jump to the space it is currently occupying.
Does anyone know how you can make a keyboard shortcut so you can jump directly to full screened apps?
i want to leave the app running in full screen and be able to switch to it using ctrl+1/2/3/4/5 etc

Kurt, Yes Yes Yes, This works in CC also. On my MacBook Pro notebook with wireless small keyboard without page up page down keys, I use the fn (function) key, hold down shift and press the up and down arrows to cycle through the artboards. Wow, thank you so much for this as it is exactly what I wanted to do. But I must mention that Monika answered the second part of the question correctly also with the ability to 'jump' to a selected arboard by name. So, there is no way to award two with the correct answer, but you both deserve. I gave to you Kurt because you answered the first part of the question but you both deserve equally. CarlosCanto also chimed in with an edit I see now that mentions controls in the arboard panel that I have not explored yet. I thank each of you and you each deserve a huge amount of credit for coming up with the insights to navigation that are not readily available without doing some serious homework and having a good amount of experience also with Illustrator. I don't know why the change, but the pointer appears in the same way as it does on the main screen, not a pointer. There does not appear to be anyway to change it. You may want to submit a comment to the Features Requests: Acrobat Feature Requests. I also submitted this as a bug.
As a clarification, your "adobe acrobat 11 reader writer" is not informative. There is Acrobat 11 and Reader 11. Writer is not a product as such. So you have referred to Acrobat in a contradictory manner. In the future, please just indicate Acrobat 11 or Adobe Acrobat 11.

When viewing full screen video in netflix watch instantly, the picture freezes while the audio continues streaming

When watching full screen video in firefox the picture freezes and the audio continues streaming. I had at first thought this was limited to netflix but now see the same problem when viewing flash video sites. Once the picture freezes the computer has to be rebooted. This only happens in firefox. Explorer streams perfectly in fullscreen. The problem began after updating to firefox 3.6 as I had no problems prior to that.

For some reason the plugin container is causing some wierd stuff. I didn't know you could have more than one instance of task manager open. while this bug occurred, I had 15 task managers open. So somehow this plugin container is doing soemthing funky with the windows system. I'm the same poster as the last 2 post

First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
There are a few other possible causes of generalized slow performance that you can rule out easily.
Reset the System Management Controller.
If you have many image or video files on the Desktop with preview icons, move them to another folder.
If applicable, uncheck all boxes in the iCloud preference pane.
Disconnect all non-essential wired peripherals and remove aftermarket expansion cards, if any.

Thunderbolt display changes colour temperature when in full screen mode

27" Thunderbolt Display connected to MacBook Air (2011) changes colour temperature when in full screen mode. Switching any setting in System Preferences/Displays changes it back to the correct colour. I have also seen this on a 24" LED Display (Display Port) connected to a Mac Book Pro (2011).

Hi I'm having a hard with my title showing when in full-screen mode for imovie. It shows up on the edit screen but not in full screen. Why and how to I change it?

yours is showing all the time? mine only shows when my mouse is at the bottom of the screen.
However it also shows for me in non-fullscreen mode after i've switched to a different Space (in Leopard) and back. Have to go into fullscreen and then out of it to make it disappear.

Try using another connection such as VGA or DVI to see if the problem repeats itself.
