Bring back HELP...just help!

I don't know whose idea it was to quit including paper manuals with the software, but I hate it. I also hate the new HELP feature with CS4. I don't want to spend hours looking for an answer. Please bring back the old help model! (And if you think hate is too harsh a word, let me assure you, hate is extremely appropriate when I think about all of the time I've wasted trying to get the answer to one simple little isse.)

The original help files are still on your hard disk you just need to tell your browser where to look for them.
For example, the following path will give you the help files for the British English language version of Illustrator CS4:
your boot drive/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Help/en_GB/Illustrator/14.0/index.html
I have a Bookmarks Toolbar Folder called (surprisingly!) 'Adobe Help files' which gives me access to all my CS4 apps local help files instantly

Using the audio version of the Economist magazine is impossible in their new Newsstand version App. It just will not download. The Economist help desk is incredibly unhelpful and incompetent. This used to be so easy when the App was independent. Several other people have given feedback requesting the old App returns and complaining the App inside Newsstand is dis-functional! Only the people at The Economist can choose to reprogram the app so it is out of Newstand.

So just to be clear, when you say "just bought" how long ago was that? Is it on this new iPhone that you had pictures, texts, etc that you want? Were you backing up to iCloud or onto iTunes?
This may not help for everything but if you go to iCloud.com and log in, are you able to find your pictures there?

If the photos were i your iPod's Camera Roll album (taken by or saved to the iPod you can:
- If your PhotoStream is on you can get the last 30 days worth back. See that topic here:

- Or you can restore from backup if you backed up when the photos were on the iPod.
If the photos were synced to the iPod then you have to get them from where you got them the first time.

Where were you storing your contacts? In the cloud? In outlook? Synch them back from wherever they were being stored.

I've done the reformat thing .....

On another post I saw the suggestion to download EasyFind and use that to search for any Seagate software on my Mac and then remove it.
I did that, removed anything that even mentioned Seagate and .... it worked!
It has been working fine all day and allowed me to shut down the computer without freezing.
So ...... so far so good.
If anyone is about to use a Seagate GoFlex then don't download any of their software!!!

everyone who's wondering that the help link (?) is not available in CRM 7.0 > SP1 should know what [Note 1410534|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1410534] says:
"The links to the Help Center Business User Documentation has been removed with CRM 7.0 SP2 due to technical considersations"
I think that is not acceptable. In contrast to the CRM WebUI the SAP GUI provides in most cases also a documentation on the Field level which can always accessed by pressing F1. Also there is a context sensitive help via Help -> Application Help. Should we miss that now completely in CRM WebUI? I've opened a new Idea: [Bring back Help Center Business User Documentation for CRM 7.0 > SP1|https://ideas.sap.com/ideas/1542]. Please vote for it.

It's quite easy actually. First have your "iTunes Library Extras", "iTunes Library Genius", "iTunes Library", and "iTunes Music Library" backed up. Download ans install iTunes 64-bit. I don't know what's so 64-bit about iTunes 64 since Win7 reports it as a 32-bit application in the task manager. But anyway. Install iTunes 64 and launch it. If you migrated your library to another drive like me go to settings in iTunes and change the directory to your location. Close iTunes. Replace the newly created files with your backed up files. Launch iTunes. iTunes will load and then update your library and from there you are set to go! so basically it is just like a normal upgrade. But if you hesitated to go from 32 to 64 like me, here is your answer.
By the way. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit with iTunes 64-bit and it works without problems and syncing with my iPod Touch also works flawlessly.

Just wait a bit. Turn it off, then back on.
I don't know why, but after the update it doesn't show up right away.
When it finally does, you will find a red icon on the bottom of the screen, on the left side.

Did you backup the iPad first? If you did - restore from the backup in order to restore the photos in the Saved Album on your iPad. If the photos were synced to the iPad, then sync them back again via iTunes.

If you did backup first, you will be restoring your most recent backup and you should be OK. But know that when you restore from a backup, you restore everything that is in that backup onto the iPad .... All documents, device settings, all data and so on. You cannot just select photos to restore to the iPad. It's all or nothing.
