If you look in your Safari bookmarks, you may find there is one for Utube. This folder just magically appeared there with the upgrade.to iOS6 on my iPhone.

I've also had the same issues, after upgrading to IOS 6.0, the apps in my iPhone 4 were crashing and the battery life run out very fast.
The only solution worked for me was to remove all mail accounts (Exchange/Gmail) from my iPhone (in settings) and then add them back.
The crashing were stopped! also the battery was back to normal.
I found the solution by first looking at the crash logs (in IOS 6). you can find them at Settings -> General -> About (at the bottom of the About menu you will find the option that opens the logs).
There i saw many logs about Low Memory crash. 99% of the logs were pointed that the largest process (use the most memory) during the crashes is "dataaccessd".
I search in the web and found that this process is a deamon process that reponsible the Mail accounts (like Exchange/Gmail) and contancts list.
I've installed the app "System Status - activity monitor" which shows important system info like CPU usage, Memory usage and running processes.
Before apply my solution (deleting the mail accounts) i saw that the CPU usage was very high which consume the battery very fast. Also i saw that the memory (RAM) was run out.. which probably what cause the crashing..
After deleting the mail accounts (at Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars) i check again with the System Status app, and saw that the memory and CPU were back to normal.
Adding the mail accounts back, still everything work ok

If you've updated to iOS 6 then the YouTube app is no longer included - you will either need to try one of the YouTube apps from the store (there is an iPhone optimised app from google, and other people have said that they are working on an iPad version), or try accessing the mobile version via Safari : http://m.youtube.com (you can create a home screen shortcut for the site)
If you are on iOS 5 and you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders and you've tried searching for it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the righ), then is it hidden via Settings > General > Restrictions > YouTubebeing 'off' ?

you can't get the old you tube icon because apple deleted it. BUT you can download youtube app on the app store for free and its actually better and faster than the previous youtube app that you want. hope this helps!

Bring back the independent App for the Economist Magazine! Take it out of Newsstand! Audio version no longer downlaods! Their Help desk is incompetent!

Using the audio version of the Economist magazine is impossible in their new Newsstand version App. It just will not download. The Economist help desk is incredibly unhelpful and incompetent. This used to be so easy when the App was independent. Several other people have given feedback requesting the old App returns and complaining the App inside Newsstand is dis-functional! Who will support me in bringing back the independent Ap? NO NEWSTAND AP TYRANNY!!

Only the people at The Economist can choose to reprogram the app so it is out of Newstand.

I can't sign in with the YouTube app that comes with my iPhone?

For some reason I can't sign into YouTube using the preinstalled app on my iPhone 4. I can sign in okay with Safari. Any ideas. I've tried the 2 step verification setup with Google but either I'm not signing in with the special password correctly or it's not working.

Here is the thing the actual license for Apple to have a native YouTube app has expired you must understand this more about Apple removing Google from its ecosystem and less about actual licenses. If Apple was so inclined I am almost certain they could have continued to provide a native YouTube app.
Do you really think that Apple Maps are "better" for iOS users? You know that you can set your default search to another provider such as Bing? Imagine Apple changing its default Safari search to Bing. You must understand that Google makes more from searches on iOS devices than it does on everyting that is Andriod (source:http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/google-earns-four-times-more-from-ios-than-a ndroid/). Apple is slowly and meticulously working on freeing iOS of Google products.
Of course it is a free market and Apple will most certainly allow Google's apps on their app store.

Probably not, as the license to pre-install it on iOS has expired.
Instead of adding the youtube website to your bookmarks page, you could also go to safari, then to youtube website and select "add to homescreen". That way you can always use the mobile youtube website with only one click on your homescreen - just like an actual youtube application.

Feature Request - Bring back the show progress bar

Just in case Verizon is looking for suggestions here, can you please bring back the progress bar that was behind the start/end times in the guide? In the current guide, there is no quick graphical cue to represent how much time has progressed in the selected show. Yes, you can look at the start, end, and current times, but when browsing through shows that start/end at different times, it really slows browsing down.
I've uploaded two images to illustrate the issue.
The first image below is a screenshot of the v1.9 guide. The second image is a mock-up that shows the feature that I am talking about. Note the progress bar for the currently selected show in the guide that appears behind the start and end times ("7:35 AM - 9:30 AM" on the right side of the screen, in the middle).
This was available in the previous guide, but was omitted in 1.9. It is a very useful feature. Please bring it back.
(NOTE: The white progress bar at the top of the screen does NOT represent the progress through the show selected in the guide. It just shows the current time.)

I'm sorry, but I just do not see the benefit of the elapsed time thing you propose. What difference does it make to see some kind of indicator how far into the program you are? You can't change where you are, you are there, period.
But if you really, really want to know:
1) Just look at the start time and end time shown in the current program in the middle, and look at the TOD shown at the top, and estimate where you are.
- or -
2) Hit the Info button once and see a bar that definitively shows how far in you are.
Could you please explain why you think having that feature is so useful? I just don't see it.

Bring back the "blur" frame!

I'd like to request that the Pages developers bring back the "blur" frame that was in the older version of Pages. The blur frame (partnered with the alpha tool) was super versatile for making layouts, and now it's gone...
Using Pages 5.1 now.

We are all just end-users like yourself here. To have Apple "hear" you you need to leave feedback for the Pages team using the link in the Pages menu.

How do I send a link to a youtube video in text message? The youtube app doesnt provide URLs that I can copy & paste...

My friend has a blackberry and sends links to youtube videos to me all the time, in text messages, that I can watch easily. I could not figure out how to send him links to youtube videos. The youtube app doesnt provide a URL I can copy and paste into the text message and going to youtube through web browser just defaults it back to the (URL-less) app.
I cant be the first person totally stumped by this.
Its either not possible or crazy simple and I just havent drank the apple kool-aid enough yet...

Only if you backed up the phone before that and did not back up after that. App settings and data are part of the backup. But all other data will be set back as well, you can't choose a single app to be restored from the backup.

Just like the topic states........updated iPad, and lost the YouTube app, and no it's not because of restrictions cause I've checked......it's gone and I can't get it back, I've even hooked up to my computer and iTunes to see if I could get it back there also but no luck there either. youtube is no longer a built in app on ios6. Apple contract with google expired so youtube and google maps were removed. try the app store or youtube mobile website
