Please help us bring FiOS to houses without cable/internet in Dallas, TX 75212 on Jenny Dale Dr, Melinda Hills Dr, and Landrum Lakes Ct. My wife and I have been living in a new subdivision in West Dallas, TX since the summer of 2011. We did not do enough research regarding the area's cable/internet services and have been using DirecTV for cable and Clear 4G for internet. Interestingly enough, Time Warner Cable services all residences in this area except our small subdivision which includes Jenny Dale Dr, Melinda Hills Dr, and Landrum Lakes Ct. After several calls and service requests, it seems that TWC has no plans to extend service to this area in the near future. Please help us with this issue as all residents in this area would greatly benefit from high speed internet and premium cable service. Thank you for your time

This is a FiOS User Forum for technical advice and while I can understand your frustration, none of us can help you with Verizon.
Try to contact your local business office and see if there are any plans for your neighborhood. Ask if you get enough neighbors to agree to sign up for service, you might be able to convince them.

If you're willing to pay the cost to get FiOS installed in that ZIP code, I think you're honestly better off buying and building out your own network, and selling Fiber-based Internet services out of it. You'll be able to recoup the costs that way. Unless of course, that isn't what you meant you were going to pay Verizon to do and pocket the money afterwards.
Long story short, I wouldn't expect FiOS to be built out anytime soon if it isn't already available in your Central Office or your town/city doesn't already have a TV Franchise or other agreement with Verizon. I'm not sure if that ZIP Code is specific to New York City as a whole, but Verizon does have agreements with the city to wire up everything by 2014. Expansion has pretty much been halted, with Verizon eyeing Fixed LTE as a replacement for Fiber cabling to the home. Not going to fly very well with me.

You must have Verizon unlock the device from their service. In Brazil you will have to find a compatible provider and use their SIM in place of Verizon's SIM

I have a pc and am trying to get my music through my iTunes on my computer. I didn't have any trouble syncing my iphone 5S but can't get it to sync with my 6. OS 8.1.3
I open iTunes on my pc, plug in my phone, then I click on the picture of a phone on the upper left hand corner of my music library. Then I get a box of options with sync at the lower right. I have clicked "automatically sync when phone is plugged in" and have also tried to do it manually by checking specific songs and albums. Every time I hit sync the box pops up that says, "The iPhone could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iPhone. To authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes store choose Store>Authorize This Computer."
I took those steps and a box pops up that says "this computer is already authorized."
I have my recently purchased music on my phone that came through the cloud when I restored my phone. But I want my old music from CD's that I put on my iTunes library in my computer. I had all of this music on my old phone.

Here is the last thing I received from MSI tech support. I'll give them this much, they are much more responsive than VIA or AOpen ever were when I first got my flakey MVP3 board...lol. I hope they can figure this problem out!

Uggh, it's so frustrating! I've googled every search phrase I can think of and this seems to be the only thread describing this exact issue. I'm always automatically logged into Facebook on my MBP but just to be sure I logged out and back in and it worked fine.
I gotta say, I wasn't a fan of the Droid I had preceding this iPhone, and from what I hear the iPhone app for FB is a thousand times better - not that I'd know personally because I can't log in!! - but I could always access my FB account on the droid. Just sayin...

We are already wired for Verizon, we just want the fiber optics. According to my city public works, we were scheduled to get your services back in 2008! We are still waiting! Our whole area is held captive by the Time Warner Cable company, and extreme prices. My daughter lives two blocks from us and has your services, and they are outstanding! We try each year to contact different companies since we moved in our home in 1999. We finally ditched the cable services and went with Direct TV your partner for satellite television! We would love to have your phone and internet services! Please reconsider us, there is a huge demand for FIOS!

FIOS Mobile App - Wireless Does Not Work

Hello all,
I am trying to use the new FIOS Mobile app on my Android tablet. This should allow me to watch some live TV, however when I try to connect to a channel it tells me I need to be connected to my broadband router.
In my setup at home my FiOS broadband router does not handle wireless connections, only wired. I have a separate wireless AP that does this. Why should it matter where I get my wireless connection from, as long as I am connected?

So please notify them of your issue. Many are complaining on the Google Play app user reviews about the same problem you have. Fed Up with FiOS DVR 7216 - Convince Me NOT to Buy a TIVO

My network: Mid Tier Internet, MultiRoom DVR on Std Def TV, HD STB (to share DVR), 2 basic STBs.
I can't tell if it's the DVR itself or if it's the way the programming comes into the house (i.e. bouncing around the internal network), but too often I get chop. The audio stream stays intact and live, but the video stream chops and drops maybe 5 to 10 frames per second making it really really painful when watching sports.
This happens on live TV, it happens on multiple channels, it happens on DVR playback when the DVR isn't recording something else, and DVR playback when the DVR is recording something else. And this is happening on the TV to which the DVR is connected (so I don't think it's related to multi-room streaming.) Specifically, it happens a lot and under a host of different circumstances.
I have done a few tests on the DVR playback side since I can control it. I am watching, I get chop, I flip back 10 seconds and play through the same time period again.... no chop. That tells me it wasn't recording it choppy, it was playing it back choppy, which leads me to conclude this DVR sucks. It can't handle the most basic function of a DVR - playback on the tv to which it's connected without any issues. A VCR would do better than this piece of junk.
I pay $20 / month for this DVR. If I have to shell out $300 for a Tivo XL and then pay the same $20 / month to get a DVR that works and doesn't chop up all my programming, then it's worth it to me. Oh, and don't get me started on how lame I think the DVR software is. When I pause a sporting event with virtually nothing saved on the DVR, I only get 10 minutes of pause? And then when it unpauses it takes me back to live tv instead of resuming from the pause? Absolutely ridiculous - it makes the thing completely unusable for my purposes. I don't know if this 1.9 software will make a difference, but I'm pretty fed up with this piece of crap DVR BOTH from a hardware and software perspective.
Can somebody shed any light on these issues or give me any reason to not ditch the FiOS DVR? Even worst, is there any indication these problems could be deeper rooted than the DVR? I would be REALLY **bleep** if I move to TIVO and end up with the same issues.

Have you contacted Verizon support about your problem? Sounds like your STB is sick. So if you haven't let Verizon work the problem, you have an important step to take before you consider Tivo or any other solution.

Interactive PDF- email hyperlink bringing up email window and "Page not found" webpage?

Created interactive pdf with email hyperlink, however, not only does clicking on link bring up email message also brings up "Page not found" in a web browser. How to resolve? Email link setup appropriately in InDesign CC?

IBookstore soon not accepting ibooks made with IBA 2.0?

When delivering my first iBook via itunes Producer, I got a warning letting me know that the iBookstore would 'soon' be not accepting ibooks made with ibooks author 2.0 - does anyone know when that is exactly? I have one more book built using this version so trying to get it done asap...

This would truly make a good piece to submit as IBA feedback. (To improve the chances of it being read to the end, I would recommend to remove the judgemental parts of the piece and trim it down to the bare facts before submitting.)

Suppose PGI date is 3.6.2010 & user is creating bill doc on 5.6.2010 but entering a date later than PGI date say e.g 2.6.2010. Now we want that sys shd not accept a manually entered bill doc date later than PGI date. I think, Iu2019ve made my issue very clear. So how to achieve this thru std. config? We know that thru ABAP a u201CZu201D chck is possible to apply for this scenario but we want to do it thru std. config. Pls help.

Go to VTFL, select the item category for the combination of your delivery type and billing type and maintain routine 011 for the field "Data: VBRK/VBRP". If you have already assigned a different routine, then add this code
VBRK-FKDAT = SY-DATUM"
Also the above routine will only propose the system date but it can be changed manually. In order to prevent this, you can make the date field as grey through billing exit USEREXIT_FILL_VBRK_VBRP (Module pool SAPLV60A, program RV60AFZC). By doing so, system will always system date (if you applied routine 11) or the actual GI date which cannot be changed.
