Bringing erros at SC level

Hello,
When we give wrong data of cost assignment or any backend related information while creating Shopping Cart, the system allows to create the SC without any errors and after PO creation, we would see the PO error in process of showing the errors in application monitor.
Cant we bring these backend related or any other errors while creating SC the time of checking it before ordering ?
Any SAP Notes for this ?
Awaiting inputs.
Thank YOu
Regards, Sunu

Hi,
You can do this by giving a logic in BADI 'BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI' method BBP_DOC_CHECK for business object BUS2121.
Write a RFC in the MM system and call that rfc into Badi method pass the account assignment data as import parameter and get the result as export parameter.
this will solve your problem.
for any clarification just ket me know

  • Handling oracle commit erros at Appilcaton level in case of AWT

    Hi All,
Incase AWT, All transactions committed successfully in the TimesTen database will be successfully propagated to and committed in the Oracle database. Execution errors on Oracle cause the transaction in the Oracle database to be rolled back
BUT AWT recognizes this Errors later , Since AWT propagates the commoted updates to oracle syncronously (The errors may be reported in the AWT error file long after the commit to TimesTen occurs). How these kind of errors handled at Application level, since Timesten do not raise thease errors immediately , mean while application might assumes that it got commited in oracle , it may procede with another set of transactions .
    Kindly help on this
    Thanks,
    -AK

This is a problem with any type of asynchronous propagation. Details of any AWT apply errors are reported in the datastores .awterrs file. You can process that file to determine if there were any errors and maybe take recovery action. If your application cannot tolerate this type of behaviour then asynchronous propagation is not appropriate for you and you should use a different option.

  • Won't show ink status levels

I have an HP Officejet 6310xi All-in-One that I've had for quite a while. I used to be able to bring up the ink level status but not anymore. I had a bluetooth connection and thought that was the problem. But I switched to a USB cable to be able to check and got the same thing. I did turn the printer off and reboot the computer and then powered the printer up with the USB cable but got the same message it can't show levels as it couldn't establish two way communication. I might as well plug the BT back in if I can't resolve this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Lynn

    Hi,
Has anything recently changed... like installing new software packages or updates?  You could print a self test page that provides the ink levels.  Here is a document from the product support page for the HP OJ 6310xi.
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02030504&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=1120043&tmp...
If you didn't want to print the self test page, then I would uninstall and reinstall the the printer to see if that helps.  or you might even run the print diagnostic tool.  This can sometimes automatically fix the problem.

    Hi Obiee experts,
I have placed the images in  below locations  and these images are independent and  has no reference to the employee id column in dimension table.but my client requires report with all the employees, with respect to the images.Could anybody can give me a solution for this.

    Hi Sreeni,
The images are stored with employee ids reference like 1234.jpg in the image location path, so will it be possible to call those images into the report with no relation at database level.
as you said in above mail even if if we cld try  to store the images in oracle database with format like CLOB format the rpd will not support the datatype to bring to that report level.
Please let me know if you have any solution

  • How do you Control SPDIF input levels in Logic Pro using Apogee Ensemble

    Hello,
Question. I have an Apogee Ensemble audio interface hooked up to my Macbook Pro. I have a Motif XS8 that I record audio from through SPDIF.
I am able to get sound through to my audio track once setting the inputs in Logic, however the levels are not even close to halfway. I can not figure out how to fix adjust the SPDIF level to make it hotter b/c I know once I add virtual tracks and vocals through my preamp, the audio from my motif will likely not be hearable.
    Please let me know.
Also, when I record an audio track is says about 15 minutes remaining to record. Does that mean I have 15 mins of audio for each track or for all my recording period???

Not owning an Apogee Ensemble, maybe someone else who does has more definitive info can jump in, but do not confuse the lower level of the SPDIF input with "lesser quality". It's a digital connection, with no analog conversion.
-18 dBFS on a digital scale is the same as 0dB on an analog scale.
I think what you're experiencing, is the fact that so many people think they need to get the meters in Logic closer to 0dB, which is actually NOT what you want (when staying ITB). This thinking is left over from the days of analogue recording, or the early days of 16 bit digital recording.
Turn your other sources in Logic down, and you'll reap the benefits of not overloading the 2 buss, allowing the plug-ins to do their computations without distorting, etc... Then you can bring the over all level of your mix back up, in mastering.
If the Motif is considerably lower in volume than that, you could always insert a gainer plug-in on the audio track.
As to the 15 minutes, that is what Logic has pre-allocated for recording to your hard drive. It "re-sets" each time you go into record, so it's not saying "you only have 15 minutes of record time available". It's saying, "you have 15 minutes of hard disk space allocated each time you go into record, based on your sample rate and bit depth settings". This can be changed in the Audio pathway, but it's recommended to leave this number as low as possible/necessary, to avoid disk fragmentation.

  • DMR Not showing materials of Lower level WBS

    Hi,
I have multiple WBS under 1st level. It is working find with cost reporting. But when i create DMR with DP91, it shows materials attached with activity comes under 1st level WBS only. How can i bring materials of lower level WBS activity materials into DRM while triggering DP91 with Upper level WBS...?

    Hi rajsekhar
But generally if you want to transfer the cost of the sub item to  main item then you can  check the box Cumulative cost in copy control VTFL . But your requirement is quite opposite .So you need to go to assign a New Reqt / Alt calc type  to the cond type , telling that the header item cost which is not relevant for pricing has to be transferred to sub item .So you need to integrate with the ABAP'er to give inputs to him and giving our requirement also

  • SAP BW Entry level

    Hello All,
I am an IT professional with SAP BW (Academy) training. I have been looking for BW entry level jobs for 1 year.. I am just wondering if anyone know of any companies who take entry level candidates in australia.??
    Thanks you.
    Peter

    Hi BW Fresher,
Just some encouragement... You will do fine if you keep looking and networking. There are companies out there that will bring on a junior level person to work hand in hand with a senior person. You may not want to find a consulting job, but there are other companies will be willing to do. You would have to start somewhere, and everyone else here did too.
If nothing else, come to America and find jobs here...

  • IMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2010) - CPU and Optical drive fans rev up to 4000 rpm

    Hello,
I just want to share my experience with my rather new Imac
I bought this Imac last April and I had the fans roaring after 2 weeks of light usage. I followed instructions like resetting the SMC, unplugging the imac and restarted.
However, I started installing other software like Paragon NTFS, VLC, Firefox and also Istat nano. This happened on a more regular basis and istat nano was showing up fairly normal temperatures - an average of 50° C and I had the CPU fan at 3800 and the Optical drive fan at 4200 rpms. According to apple support, at this temperature fans should be running at factory level or a bit more. Even when I stop all activity, the fans keep up and does not stop even after a couple of hours of inactivity on the imac. Apple support recommended that I reinstall macos on a new partition and run tests and during the tests, the only software I installed was istat nano and still got the fans going with the same result - required a shutdown to bring fans at normal levels and yet average temperatures were around 50 - 55 °C.
Eventually got apple to replace heat sensors - this did not help - still got the same unwanted result, fans reving up to 4000 rpm and not stopping and all that without going above 60°C. I was at the stage to demand a complete replacement but decided to give it another couple of weeks testing.
Last test, a complete reinstall of the OS and this time, without any other software apart from standard software delivered with the mac. Ran a few things like importing over 10,000 pictures with iphoto and some other stuff to increase activity - overall CPU usage was at 5% idle for a good few hours and could not reproduce the problem (istat nano was not installed, so I could not monitor temperature). I started installing Paragon NTFS for mac and ran the same scenarios and still no fans going crazy - putting my hands over the top of the imac, can feel a slight breeze...).
Installed other software such as VLC and Firefox 5.0 but still no istat nano and same high activity, import high volumes in iphoto and also did an empty secure thrash to increase load. CPU usage was to 95 again and still fans are behaving properly.
One thing that comes to my mind with istat nano is that, when the fans get going, the ambient value change to -140 - I do not want to rush into any conclusion but is it possible that there is some interference between istat nano and those new sensors that have come in with Imac mid 2010 (from reading mac forums, Apple has added a new ambient sensor..). Because all the time I have been reinstalling the OS, I have always installed istat nano to monitor temperature and fan speed and I always got this issue. But since yesterday, I have installed clean OS, tested, added some 3rd party software but still no istat nano and I canot reproduce the issue. I have been using the same scenario during all this testing - very high import with iphoto, viewing a film, empty secure thrash, enough to use up to 95% CPU.
Has anyone experienced this? I hope this is the cause of my problem because this mac is making my life easier at home compared to previous PC and also, I want to know that my hardware is not at fault...
I will keep you posted if I get the issue again - could be tempted to install istat nano and run the tests to see if the fans will rev up after this but not sure I want to go through another 4 days of just doing this...
    regards
    Philip

  • Airport Express no longer works in "Enterprise Arrangement" Long

This is going to be somewhat long, so bear with me as I will try to be as detailed and complete as possible. I just was hung up on by Apple Technical Support after Michael waited until 6:01pm PDT so I could not call back, so any help would be appreciated.
I have three airport express base-stations that are arranged as follows:
    1. Living Room - connects to my cable modem and iTunes to send music to the stereo.
    2. Kitchen - extends the airport signal so that it covers the back yard and is connected to a USB printer.
    3. Den - extends the airport signal to cover the bedrooms and is connected to iTunes for the den stereo.
The three units are connected via WDS in a very simple setup that took about five minutes to complete via Setup Assistant and some minor alterations in Airport Utility. The entire system functioned perfectly for over eight months until today when the Kitchen unit was no longer communicating to the printer and could not be accessed using Airport Utility. It would only "flash amber" after attempting numerous resets and even factory default resets. So, what to do -- thinking that the Airport unit had given up the ghost (I had one fail some time ago), I called apple support under my AppleCare plan.
The first representative (Chris) was very helpful and worked with me to try to reset the unit. When he could make no progress, I was passed along to a "product specialist," Michael, who tried very dilligently to explain from the beginning that my arrangement was far too complicated for basic support and that I had to buy an enterprise service contract in order to solve my problem. We spoke briefly and I assured him that I would accept whatever help that he could provide, as I felt that the particular base station had some malfunction.
We spent the better part of ninety minutes resetting the problematic (Kitchen)base-station to no avail. Finally he offered the following solution: "if all you want is to use it as a print server, we can set it up on it's own network." I said that that was not what I wanted, but thought we could try it as a possible workaround solution. After a few minutes of tinkering he had me set up a new network that only served as a print server. No longer did I get the range-expansion of my previous arrangement, and I have to switch the entire network from the airport menu in order to print. I can no longer print and surf the net or print and listen to music. He felt that this was an acceptable solution and tried to tell me that he and I "agreed to disagree" about this being a solution.
I explained to Michael that this was very "un-apple-like" in it's application and that there had to be something wrong with the base-station as it continues to "flash amber" rather than going to solid green. He reiterated his "agree to disagree" statement and said that my setup was too complicated for basic support. I offered to turn off the Den base-station to bring about an "acceptable level of support complexity." To this, Michael became very testy and proceeded to spend a minute or so explaining why I could not be helped and then hung up on me.
After being disconnected at 6:01pm PDT I then unplugged the Den base-station and simplified the system to what apple will support and still the problem persists: the Kitchen base-station will not join an existing network and run the USB printer at the same time. It can do one or the other, but when setup to do both, it consistently "flashes amber" and is inaccessible to Airport Utility - attempts to connect to the Kitchen base station through Airport Utility are met with the Spinning Beach Ball of Death and eventually with an error message : Airport Utility is unable to recognize the network.
I would appreciate any help or suggestions, but I'm afraid that I have an Airport Express paperweight.
I'll try again with Apple in the morning, also, but would like to solve this tonight if possible.
    Thanks in advance,
    Field
    Powerbook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.7)   Airport Express 6.03

I called AppleCare this morning and Sean helped me out in a huge way. In all of my attempts, I had not done a factory-default reset on the main base station and apparently some sort of endless loop had occurred between those two stations. Sean was very helpful and patient with me, but now the system is working as promised. Moral of this story is if a factory default rest doesn't help on the "problem" base station, try resetting all of the units.

  • Line Item Dimention Vs Hig Cardinality

    HI ALL
I have a problem with a cube and the below are the challenges...
                       1) can we use High cardinality / line item dimension if we already used one of these(High cardinality / line item dimension)?
                       2) while loading 4lakh records in to cube, i tried optimizing the cube by segregating characteristics into different dimension and i am successful in bringing down the percentage levels but all dimension levels are almost near to 30%. I Have only 1 key figure , will it cause any problem....
please let me know the concept....
    Thanks
    vijay

    Hi Vijay,
High Cardinality Purpose: If data volume stored in a table is very huge, it's difficult to retrieve particular record or sets of records. For fast retrieval purpose system creates Indexes on various columns, by default SAP BW creates 'Bitmap' index on each dimension.
If dimension doesn't contains large number of distinct values 'Bit Map Indexes' are fine, but in case distinct values are high and the dimension table is at least 20% of the size of the fact table, SAP recommends checking the 'High Cardinality' check box to create 'B-Tree' indexes. When compared to Bitmap indexes B-Tree indexes data retrial is fast, this is recommended on Oracle Data base.
Line Item Dimension: By checking this the relational path of Fact Table -> Dim_ID -> SID will be reduced to Fact -> SID, so you must create a dimension which doesn't create more relations between included characteristics in dimension.
So you can check Line Item dimension to make the system aware of not creating the Dim_ID path and you can check the High Cardinality to make the system to generate B-Tree indexes.
    Hope this helps.

  • Problems in using EP API in web dynpro

    Hi all,
I am using of the UME API of EP in my web dynpro application. I have inlcuded the 'com.sap.security.jar' file in my build path and did a local build and deployed the application on my development system, it works well. But while moving the same to the quality system, while activating it is throwing syntax errors saying the classes that i have used are undefined. The same erros come even when i do a DC level build.
I have tried including the jar file in the 'lib' folder of the DC, even then, i dont get any errors when i build it locally, where as there are errors while doing a DC level build.
Please tell me if there is any way of including this jar file some where so that it does not throw any erros in DC level build and also while activating.

  • Line in port not working?

I've bought a usb web cam and, with the help of "ichatusbcam", can now see a video picture in iChatAv. The web cam also has a in built microphone with a jack plug that goes into the line-in port in my MDD. However when I select the line in port in sound prefs I can't seem to get any sound. There is no flicker of movement that shows that sound is being received. If I plug in my usb microphone and select that then no problem - I can see the prefs pane showing sound input.
Any ideas or does it suggest that the in-built mic isn't working?

It "sounds" like you might need a preamp for the mic to bring up the input levels to line-in requirements.

  • Recording a class of 30 kids singing to a guitar track I laid down on Garage Band. Severe distortion because they have to hear the guitar track through a set of speakers..

I had a big setback today on a project I've been working on.  I recently made my first recording of my own playing and singing, a guitar track and a vocal track of a children's song.  When I recorded the guitar track, it took me a whole day to get it right.  I used the metronome through earbuds.  Then I listened to the guitar track and sang into a Snowball mike to get the vocal track down.  Played separately or together, they came out crisp, clear, no dostortion.  I made a CD of the song by sending the song to iTuines, with and without my voice so the children could practice to it.  I taught the song to 30 fifth graders so I could add a vocal track of them singing.  My plan is to use it as the music for a slideshow I'm making for their elementary graduation.  I'm a mom, not their teacher.  The teachers of the two classrooms have been generous in letting me teach the kids the song, and setting up 45 minutes for me to record it.  Did the recording of the kids today at the school.  Two tracks of all 30 kids doing their very best to cooperate.  They sang well.  I opened the garage Band file at home and it is such poor quality audio that it is UNUSABLE.  There's a lot of fuzz and distortion.  I can probably get their teachers to let me have them again to give it another try, but I better get it right. When I recorded my own voice to the guitar track, I monitored using earbuds.  I can't hook 30 kids up to my Macbook with earbuds. I played the guitar track from speakers and held the microphone out toward them, so the mike was between the speakers and the kids. The speakers and mike both faced the kids.  They sang really well, so it was pretty disappointing to find the recording sounded so bad.  My guitar teacher tried to help me figure out what to do, but he thinks it is going to be very tricky to get it right since the kids have to hear the guitar track to sing it.  I'm considering playing the CD I made of the guitar track from a boom box behind the kids and just recording the kids on a separate project file and losing the ability to edit, and probably losing most of the guitar quality and volume.  But I won't know if it works until I have 30 kids and 2 teachers and all my gear set up to actually try it.  Whatever I do, it has to work on my next try.  There's very little time left and no budget.  I thought my Macbook Pro and the Snowball, purchased at the Apple Store, would be enough.
    Please advise.  Thanks.

Very difficult recording situation. I would probably just record the kids with you playing live guitar.
You could do the boombox with the kids and set it up so the kids hear the guitar but try to get as little as possible of the prerecord guitar on the the track. Then either mix the kids recording with the original guitar track or add a guitar track to the kids track later.
When you do the recording of the kids bring headphones to monitor levels. Also make sure you're happy with the track before you leave the school.

  • [Problem] Line in port giving intervalled static when recording

    Hi,
My MacBook late '08, has started having recording issues when recording any instrument through the line in port. I have tried using different recording software and cables however, even when anything makes contact with the inside of the port, the static starts. If you turn up the recording level, the static 'blips' get faster and louder.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks a lot.

It "sounds" like you might need a preamp for the mic to bring up the input levels to line-in requirements.

  • Adobe RGB Monitor Problem

I own a dell 2408wfp monitor that works with adobe rgb. photoshop seems to realize that and automatically adjusts the preview colors of srgb images so that it "matches" the srgb color settings. when exporting the image and previewing them in a browser the colors are - of course - way more intense, i guess that's because the browser dosn't render them for an adobe rgb monitor. the problem: the preview in photoshop on my adobe rgb monitor dosn't look nearly like the result on a normal srgb display. colors are just wrong. i get the best (=best matching) results when lowering the color intensity in the monitor settings and look at the result in my browser.
is there any way to disable the "monitor profile" in photoshop, so that it just displays the colors "wrong"/too intense?
    thx for your help!

Thanks Dag and others.  I apologize if I seemed frustrated, above, especially to Lundberg02 if he has taken any offense.  None was meant!
Please permit me a bit of philosphizing for a moment...
You may take all this with a grain of salt, or as the ravings of a madman.  It is in NO WAY intended to accuse or label anyone.  Instead I simply request you keep an open mind...
I think the one thing that seems to apply stronger to the color-management realm than most others, for some reason, is that people who have found their footing initially believe that their way is the "best" (or sometimes "only") way to actually make color-management work, because it works for them, and because it was pretty difficult to reach this level initially.  Out of the goodness of their hearts they want to try to bring others to their level of understanding.  They simply have not realized yet that there are still higher levels of understanding.
I only offer this, to those who think this way, because I have been there:  Your next level of understanding (and there always seem to be more levels) brings the realization that there is no "one" or "best" way to work - it depends on needs.  It is at this stage that you finally realize that all those settings and features represent either the minimum set (or possibly even still a subset) of all the controls REALLY needed to get things right, and that quite possibly others will want to choose different ones - and even different workflows - than you have chosen. It is at this level where one begins to see why what seemed like poor terminology at first was actually chosen.
The next level beyond the above is a maturing of the understanding, over time, where one learns to sometimes change settings to meet changing needs, and one begins to actually exercise all the features and controls in daily operations to better meet his/her goals.  It is at this level that one finds oneself revisiting ideas tossed out early on as "invalid" or "wrong", such as setting up a system to use a standard profile instead of a custom one.  This is the level where one starts to understand how half-baked the whole system of color-management is, taking into account the OSs, browser and the web, and things beyond just the color-managed apps you use, because of its history.
The next evolutionary step - what has been referred-to above as the "Fraser" level - finds one developing one's own custom profiles, such as linear (gamma 1.0) working spaces or those with special gamuts, to suit particular needs not covered by what's already available.  It is at this level that one can develop properly color-managed software, and innovate in the color-management realm (e.g., marry color-management into OpenGL, which has none).
Is there a next level?  I haven't reached it, but I believe there must be one.  I've not stopped learning.
At all levels, people at lower levels will tend to think any advice you may give is suspect, or outright wrong.  Just try to be tolerant - one day they'll understand too.
    My best advice:
Color-management is no more important than, say, Angry Birds.  It's just stuff that happens on a computer.  So don't take it too seriously and try not to get upset over it.  And keep climbing the steps!
