Bringing Itunes and apps back to pc after restoring pc

I recently had to restore my pc after downloading and upgrading drivers for my Dell. The drivers locked up my pc and the start up tool would not fix the problem so mI had to do a system restore all the way back to the day I bought it. I have all my data out online with Dell Data online but I can not seem to bring it down and Dell has not been any help either. So I am trying to rebuild everything. One issue is I can ot seem to bring all of my apps and music from my Iphone 4 back into Itunes. Is there a way to do this or is it a one way thing only from the pc to the phone? I have not found anything online line yet except 3rd party apps ansd I am not sure if that is the way to do it. Any suggestions?

If your iTunes account is authorised on your computer's iTunes then you should be able to copy your Apple purchases back via File > Transfer Purchases
If the apps don't copy back then as long as they are still available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy them, then you should be able to re-download them for free (ibook purchases are also re-downloadable; music and tv shows are only re-downloadable in the US) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
You can't copy non-iTunes bought music back via Transfer purchases - do you not have a backup of your content on, for example, an external drive or CDs/DVDs ? If not then third-party programs are the only way to copy them off the iPhone.

Can't load iTunes and Apps in my iPhone after upgrading to OS5.

So, I updated my iPhone late last night to the new IOS5. It downloaded everything and went through all the permutations my iPhone went through with each OS upgrade.
But after the update and sync were complete, I no longer have any Apps on the phone nor any music.
On my iTunes page, I still have about 1.42GB of music (though I had over 3.5GB on my iPhone), but I'm reluctant to sync it up with the iPhone in case that completely wipes out the rest of my library, which I hope is still sitting somewhere in the ether.
Separately, my Apps appear on iTunes. I then clicked on "Sync Apps" and clicked each item. I hit "Apply" and then it goes into sync mode. After a minute, the sync is completely and none of the Apps are moved back onto my iPhone. Very confusing. Anyone else having these problems?

ITunes and App Store not connecting with Apple id after iOS 8

After updating to iOS 8.0.2, I have tried updating apps and buying music but nothing happens on my iPhone 5 or my iPad. Can someone help with this? All it shows it the rotating circle saying it's looking or working or whatever but even after logging in with the Apple id nothing works. I can connect my phone to the computer and things update but still shows on phone/iPad after that I still need to update apps.

Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

After restore, itunes and app store crash on launching

I just restored my OS (latest 3.2) due to some problems. Now itunes and app store crash a few seconds after launching. If I'm not connected to internet then they don't crash (but of course they are useless)

What was the problem that caused you to restore? Maybe there is some corruption that is in the backup that is causing the problem. I would try restoring to as-new condition to see if the iPad works all right in that configuration and then determine how to proceed.

hi, before reboot of router and iPad, i tried downloading an app in iTunes via PC and synced it to the device. that worked. has it still anything to do with servers?

ITunes and App store access after changing Apple ID.

Having changed country of residence recently, I changed my Apple ID. However, the old ID continues to come up on my iPad and asks me for my password. The ID has been closed and it will not accept either my old password or my new password under the new ID. It does work on my PC under the new Apple Id, but I cannot access, download or update any apps etc on my iPad.
When attempting to access the Apps Store it constantly comes up with a log-in using my old ID and will not et me change that ID. If I try to change the password using "Forgot password", it simply will not recognise the old ID as being a valid ID. The email address for the old ID is no longer valid or in use and that is why I chnaged my Apple ID rather than setting up a new ID.
Any help greatly appreciated

iTunes is a native iOS app and cannot be deleted. It is probably on another home page or in a folder. Search to see if you find it, and if not, then go to Settings, General, Reset, Reset Home Screen Layout. That should bring it back. The only other thing is if you have turned on Restrictions and have iTunes restrictions turned on.

Skip the iCloud sign in for now.
Once you reach the home page, go to settings and sign out of FaceTime and Messages. This should also sign you out of iCloud.
Go to iCloud in settings and sign in with the correct Apple ID.
If that does not work
Skip the iCloud sign in
Go to Apple ID.apple.com and sign in
Change your Apple ID to the old one
Delete iCloud account on your device with the old Apple ID and the same password.
Go back to the website, change your Apple ID back to the current one. You will receive an email to verify the account. Verify first.

As far as I know the language of the two stores on the iPad (iTunes and the App Store) can't be changed - they should be in the language of the country where your account is based (if they aren't correct then try logging out of your account by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in).
