Broadcast According to Exceptions in MHTML format

Hi All,
It is possible to get the option as per Broadcast via Email in MHTML format instead of plain text for Exception Broadcasting?
Thanks
Craig

Isnt the Broadcasting giving you options on how to do it ie like we have for normal broadcasts in which format we want to send.
Please reply back if it doesnt.
Please close thread if you have solved this.
Cheers!!

  • Send/export the background job spool in Excel (in MHTML format) in ECC 6.0.

    Hello All,
    I have a requirement to send/export the background job spool in Excel (in MHTML format) in ECC 6.0. Please help.
    Thank you.
    Nalini

    Hi Jigar,
    Thanks for your response.
    Anything is like download to desktop or email is fine. But in MHTML format.
    We can download the ALV report in MHTML spreadsheet format when we run the program online. But the program is running for long time and going to dump.
    So i scheduled it as background job and downloading the output in  .HTML format. But user wants the spool/report output in .MHTML spreadsheet format.
    I can write the code. Instead of changing the existing program I would like to know is there any way (from standard SAP) that I can get the background spool in MHTML spreadsheet format.
    Thanks,
    Nalini

  • Workbook broadcast ouput should be in PDF format

    Hi,
    Workbook broadcast output should be in PDF format ,I could not find any option in broadcast setting in BI 7.0.the users requested that they want the report in PDF format.
    Please let me know how can I achieve this.
    thanks
    Pallavi

    Hi,
      I am not sure whether this is possible? Can you check in RSRD_OUTFORM_OT table whether PDF option is available for workbook(WB)? Anyway if there is only one sheet in workbook you can broadcast the query itself.

    Raghavendra.

  • ECC6: export ALV to 'Excel (in MHTML format)

    We have just upgraded to ECC6. When I try to export ALV to 'Excel (in MHTML format) I get a runtime error (GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED). My list has 2 quantity fields. Tracing the error in the dump, i notice there is failure when processing quantity fields when the following SAP Standard method is called.
       >173      when if_salv_bs_c_data=>reffieldtype_quan.
       >174 *... get iso value for quantity value
       >           call method cl_alv_xslt_transform=>get_isonum_from_intnum
       >176             exporting
       >177               i_value    = <l_data>
       >178               i_unit     = <l_reference>
       >179               i_decimals = ls_attribute-s_dfies-decimals
       >180             importing
       >181               e_value    = l_isovalue.
    I have tried a few tricks with the FIELDCATALOG function without success. Does anyone know how I can overcome this.
    Regards.

    Hi.
    The quantity fields are coming from a table structure. I have tried making then character in the fieldcatalogue function but the runtime error was not eliminated.

  • Download to MHTML formating

    Hi all,
    Download to MHTML format causes Grand Total percentages row to be right justified while the information above is left justified,is there anyway to do the the formating for this.
    I have done right justification for the grand totals and right justification for the coloumns also.but while downloading the format becomes weird,coloumn values goes left and grand total right.
    Thanks

    I remember facing this kind of issue.
    Have you written any html contents (tags) in your report, ex: in Narrative or Text object. Too many custom html coding on the report may cause this problem.

  • MHTML format emails in iPhone or iPad

    We are sending MHTML format reports via emails from SSRS to users using Exchange 2010 as a mailserver. We are having a problem when users see these emails on an iPhone or iPads. Sometimes the email is in text and you need to scroll all the way down to the
    bottom of the email and select download the rest of the content. Some other times we get the email in the right html format but only half of it without any option to get the missing contect and sometimes we just get it right and all the information is there.
    The content doesn't change that much so the email looks pretty much the same every day but we get the different results for no reason. BTW, the email looks fine every day when you use you outlook client on you computer.
    We upgraded the OS version of the iPhones and iPads (1) to 4.3 but still is giving us the same results.
    Before we change the email to another format, I would like to see if somebody is experiencing this same problem and if there is a solution for it.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    The issue is “MHTML
    not getting rendered”, It seems as a bug.

  • Save report to MHTML format using Gui script

    hello all,
    how can i save a report in .MHTML format using Gui Script.  I am not able to record the "Save as" dialog box option with guiscripts.  i am on ECC 6
    thansk in adv.
    Kris

    Hi Script Man,
    I am having a similar issue to export to MHTML using SAP Scripting. I created a macro that open SAP GUI and do the required transaction. However, I got stuck exporting to MHTML. The code must save as MHTML in the path described below and then open the "export.MHTLM" file.
    This is the code I have until now:
    Sub SAPScripting_exportMHTML()
    Set app = CreateObject("Sapgui.ScriptingCtrl.1")
    Set Connection = app.OpenConnection("# E05 - R/3 - Produção", True)
    Set Session = Connection.Children(0)
    'Code to login on SAP GUI and do desired transaction:
    Session.findById("wnd[0]/usr/txtRSYST-BNAME").Text = "C2MARCOSEC"
    Session.findById("wnd[0]/usr/pwdRSYST-BCODE").Text = "*******"
    Session.findById("wnd[0]/usr/pwdRSYST-BCODE").SetFocus
    Session.findById("wnd[0]/usr/pwdRSYST-BCODE").caretPosition = 8
    Session.findById("wnd[0]").sendVKey 0
    Session.findById("wnd[0]/usr/cntlIMAGE_CONTAINER/shellcont/shell/shellcont[0]/shell").selecedNode = "F00003"
    Session.findById("wnd[0]/usr/cntlIMAGE_CONTAINER/shellcont/shell/shellcont[0]/shell").doubleClickNode "F00003"
    Session.findById("wnd[0]/tbar[1]/btn[8]").press
    Session.findById("wnd[0]/tbar[1]/btn[17]").press
    Session.findById("wnd[1]/tbar[0]/btn[8]").press
    Session.findById("wnd[0]/tbar[1]/btn[8]").press
    'This is where I try to export to MHTML:
    Path = "D:\Users\est.marcosec\Desktop\Marcos\SAP - Script\export.MHTML"      'The "export.MHTML" file already exists
    Set Wshell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
    Wshell.Run """D:\Users\est.marcosec\Desktop\Marcos\SAP - Script\save_as.vbs """ & Path
    Session.findById("wnd[0]/tbar[1]/btn[16]").press
    End Sub
    It would be great to get this code done. I send several reports everyday. This will save a lot of time.
    Best Regards,

  • Information Broadcasting according to the SAP factory calendar

    Is it possible to circulate BW reports via the Information Broadcaster according to the SAP factory calendar?
    It is our objective to circulate reports according to working days (not calendar dates).  Eg, to circulate cost centre reports on the 4th working day.
    Regards,
    Frederick
    PS - we use BI7

    As suggested above, you may need to create a new calender in SCAL. Points to be kept in mind during the creation of calender are;
    1. Use special rules to create fourth working day every month
    2. Keep in mind regarding the holidays.
    3. You may need to validate this calender in future as you do not know the future holidays.
    Option 1: Via Process chain
    Create a separate/new process chain which updates the Infocube/ODS on which the report exists -> At the end of process chain, create a new process "Trigger event data change(for broadcaster) -> In the scheduling options of the process chain, use the newly created calender and schedule the chain -> In the Bex broadcaster wizard, select option "Execution with Data Change of Infoprovider".
    For more help, refer the below;
    http://www.tli-usa.com/download/Taking_Charge_of_Information_Broadcasting_in_BI_7[1].0_for_improved_report_and_data_distribution.pdf
    Option 2: Via background Job
    Create a new Job in SM36.  In the scheduling options of the Job, use the newly created calender in restrictions. Create a new step for ABAP program RSRD_BROADCAST_FOR_TIMEPOINT and schedule the Job.
    If user has authorizations then, Time Point defined by the Job will be visible in the Bex broadcaster wizard.
    Refer the above link for more information.
    Hope this helps,
    Regards,
    Sunil

  • ALV export MHTML format problem

    We are using List->Export->Spreadsheet->Excel(in MHTMT format) to export from ALV. This option is take very long time to export the data .However user choose Excel(in existing XXL format) it get downloaded quickly.
    Does someone faced similar problem. Is this related with SAP , Network or Excel. We are using Excel 2003.

    Hi Hung To,
    I didn't got root cause of the problem.
    When user reported this, I told him to use XXL format until this gets fixed.
    Being not u2018sou2019 critical, this got delayed and last time I checked with user he switch back to MHTML format without any problem.
    Because this problem was with user in remote location, I though network could have been issue, but there wasnu2019t any change in network since and everything else on useru2019s PC remains same. So I havenu2019t got a clue what could have gone wrong.
    Considering this as one off problem I just left it as I couldnu2019t even regenerate the problem.
    I would say check with other users if they have similar problem with MHTML format, if not than most probably its excel.
    I would love to hear from others if they had this problem and solved it.

  • How Can I Show ORA Exception in suitable format?

    Hi everybody,
    I use ADF framework and jdeveloper editor, when I execute Commit or Delete operation if they throw constraint exception, error handler class wrap them in suitable format and if I use Message Bundle and put message with name of constraint, they were handled and in client side my messages show ,but if I call Function or procedure and they throw any ORA Exception for example constraint Exception It dosen't work correctly and I see like this :
    ORA-00001: unique constraint (EXIR.PAYRO_UK) violated ORA-06512: at "EXIR.PKG_HRM4_004_PAYROLL", line 361 ORA-06512: at "EXIR.PKG_HRM4_004_PAYROLL", line 277 ORA-06512: at line 1
    although there is
    {"PAYRO_UK","please put percent field from 1 to 100"},
    in my Message Bundle class,
    please help me.

    Hi Viliam,
    I don't know what do you want to do but I do it in these steps : at first you should see this http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/html/B25947_01/web_val008.htm for define your error handler class. next I change error handler class for my purpose to this :
    public class ExirErrorHandler extends DCErrorHandlerImpl {
    * Constructor for custom error handler.
    * @param setToThrow should exceptions throw or not
    private Vector exceptionList = new Vector();
    public ExirErrorHandler(boolean setToThrow) {
    super(setToThrow);
    public void reportException(DCBindingContainer bc, Exception ex) {
    exceptionList = new Vector();
    exceptionList = reCreat(ex, exceptionList);
    Exception exs = BuildFromVector(exceptionList);
    super.reportException(bc, exs);
    in this method I remove ORAExceptions and show appropriate message :
    private Vector reCreat(Exception ex, Vector vec) {
    if (ex instanceof JboException) {
    JboException jboEx = (JboException)ex;
    jboEx.setAppendCodes(false);
    if (thereIsNot(jboEx.getErrorCode(), vec)) {
    vec.add(jboEx);
    Object[] detailExceptions = jboEx.getDetails();
    jboEx.setExceptions(null);
    if ((detailExceptions != null) && (detailExceptions.length > 0)) {
    for (int z = 0, numEx = detailExceptions.length; z < numEx;
    z++) {
    vec = reCreat((Exception)detailExceptions[z], vec);
    } else if (ex instanceof SQLException) {
    SQLException sqlEx = (SQLException)ex;
    System.out.println("Exception Occured :: " +ex.getMessage());
    if (sqlEx.getMessage().indexOf("constraint") != -1 && sqlEx.getMessage().indexOf("(") != -1 && sqlEx.getMessage().indexOf(")") != -1) {
    String constraint =
    sqlEx.getMessage().substring(sqlEx.getMessage().indexOf("("),
    sqlEx.getMessage().indexOf(")"));
    if (constraint.indexOf(".") != -1)
    constraint =
    constraint.substring((constraint.indexOf(".") +
    1));
    JboException jbo =
    new JboException(CSMessageBundle.class, constraint, null);
    jbo.setAppendCodes(false);
    vec.add(jbo);
    return vec;
    I remove repetitive Exception in this method :
    private boolean thereIsNot(String errorCode, Vector vec) {
    while (vec.size() > index) {
    JboException jboEx = (JboException)vec.get(index);
    if (jboEx.getErrorCode().equals(errorCode))
    return false;
    ++index;
    return true;
    private JboException BuildFromVector(Vector vec) {
    if (vec == null)
    return null;
    int index = 0;
