Broadcast Images Missing in EP

I am trying to broadcast (distribute) a BW web report into EP (we are using EP6, BW3.5 both on sp15)
I have run into a number of problems:
1. Distributing as an Independent HTML file (.mht), some of the images are not displayed. Eg I have a report which is just a chart, but the chart is not displaying in the report in EP
2. I have a report that I have used the table interface to display a couple of images (up/down arrows, and flags for the countries). when I broadcast this report to EP, whether it be as an .mht file, or as Html with separate mime files, the images are never displayed.
Has anyone encountered these problems?
Actually, is there anyone who is successfully broadcasting reports with graphics to EP at all? I have spent a lot of time trying to get this to work, and keep coming up with problem after problem, so I would love to hear if anyone has actually got it to work.

When the project was originally created (back about RH v9) it
was decided not to keep all the images in the root directory. We
normally save our images to our Images folder, then Browse to that
directory to add it into the first topic. Once referenced in the
topic, it is listed in our Images folder, as you said with the two
Images hierarchy. This has worked fine up until this upgrade to
RH7.
I also thought naming confusion might have been the case,
which is why I tried renaming the Images folder to a variety of
different things. However the only one that seems to stick is Img2.
I've also belatedly remembered to check another images
directory, which is located a couple of folders down (this is for
admin specific images). This is also missing files. And again, the
only folder name that correctly displays all images after deleting
the cpd is Img2. (why do I always find the weird things??
The current project is probably too big to share easily. I'll
see if I can recreate in a new project, but I suspect I won't be
able to. I'll let you know how it goes.
Edit: Okay, with the admin images folder, if I rename it
Images, I get a few more images than when it is Admin_Images. Img3
also seems to give me the full list, while Img1 gives me the same
list as Admin_Images...I think I'm getting more confused.

Reinserting Preview/Images missing from Library and Project

After ingesting my images from CF reader into a project, I started working on them. For some reason after working on them for awhile, I started noticing that previews were missing from the project. I looked in the Library and they were not there either. However, when I looked in to the project folder (via the Aperture "folder" in Finder), the images and associated Aperture information files were all there in their respective folders.
I'm not sure how I lost/deleted so many images from my folder and Library (I may have accidently deleted a stack, but when I searched the number of images missing I know I could not have accidently deleted that many that way if I did). But since the files are still on my hard drive in their respective folders, in the right location, is there a way to bring them back into Aperture?

bump...if anyone can tell me that would be great. I know it sounds like a dumb question, but for the life of me I cannot do any command - import, etc. - that can get these files that reside in the actual folder to show up in Aperture's Library or its original project.

VM template image missing from OVM Server 2.2.0

Hi,
We have configured couple of linux OVM images on OVM server 2.20. These images were running successfully from 1 month , suddenly we found 1 of the VM image missing from the /OVS/running_pool directory. Can you let me know if there is any bug in OVM 2.20 as we are running 100 of VM's and VM's image missing could be big issue in future.

"referenced images missing" when they weren't even referenced

I am getting this "image missing icon" on images that are in the library. Rebuild database and everything and still no go.

I have had a few of these "missing referenced" images also. The wife too has had some missing referenced photos that were never set as referenced. All were imported at the same time from a managed library from our MacBook. Hopefully someone can answer this question.

WDS Install Image missing HAL details

I have a Win2008 R2 WDS server that has been up and running for quite some time. I have a Windows 7 x86 image that is hosted on that server.
I recently updated the Win7 image, syspreped, and uploaded to my WDS server as a new (v2) image. In the past this has always been quite simple, but for some reason i cannot get the new v2 image to display at the WDS client image selection screen.
The WDS server allowed me to add the new v2 image to my install image group, and says its online and working properly.
The WDS Client will only display the old v1 image and not the newly updated v2 image.
Both images were created on the SAME computer, x86, acpi multiprocessor. I am using the SAME computer to test/deploy the image.
The source of the problem seems to be from the install image missing the HAL details
If i use the WDS console and drill down to my old and new install images, right click and look at the properties this is what i get:
v1 Image: HAL Type ACPIAPIC
v2 Image: HAL Type (ITS F"N BLANK!!!!)
I get the same results looking at the <HAL> </HAL> parmeters using ImageX /info blah.wim
SO, Why the HELL does WDS/Sysprep not recognize my HAL type of my new v2 image???? I have tried 3 different computers to generate/capture the install image and ALL are missing the HAL type.
Anyone have a clue why the WDS/SYSPREP process does not identify the HAL type and leaves me with a blank string - and hence a useless image?

Images Missing in File

1) If all layers are showing (visible) is it possible some will not be visible until rendering. I played the file and some images were missing. I checked to see that the images were included in the file and they are.
2) I believe some of the images are missing but the guy who made the file say’s they are all there. I need to show him a render but don’t want to render out the whole animation. Is it possible to do a “quick” render of only the problematic part of the file to show someone the problem area?
What is the best way to set this up?

a.) Move your playhead to the section where the problematic frames begin and press the B Key to set the beginning of your work area.
b.) Then move your playhead to the end of your work area and press the N key to set the end of your work area.
When you send your comp to the Render Queue, click "Best Settings" to open up the Render Settings menu. It should be on automatically, but you can check to make sure "Work Area Only" is selected next to Time Span: to make sure that you're only rendering the work area section of the timeline.

IPhoto events view broken after import, images missing

I'm running the latest iPhoto on a 10.8.2 Retina MacBook Pro and experience some strange import problems since the end of last month.
My library holds more then 26.000 images right now and whenever I try to import some new images by dragging them from Finder to the iPhoto library the images (and videos) get imported... but when I try to view the event afterwards it doesn't open and the scrolling of the complete events view is broken. The scrollbar moves but thumbnails of events don't! I'm not able to use the events view anymore after a try to open such broken event.
When I use the regular photos view (the 2nd item in the left menu) I can see and use these new images... until I quit and restart iPhoto. Afterwards many images are missing – see http://cl.ly/JrjF for an example. I can delete those broken events... but not empty the trash afterwards. It just hangs while purging all entries.
Has anyone experienced this already?
I'm importing iPhone images uploaded to the DropBox "Camera Uploads" folder. But I can't believe it has to do with anything related to this.
I've also disabled the Photostream feature (not the shared ones) in iPhoto because I got tired of splitted events due to Photostream missing some images now and then. Maybe it has to do with that disabled feature. I'll try to reenable it after restoring my 5 days old backup (120GB) a second time now.

This sounds like a damaged database.
Try this test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?
If it's not then back to your main Library:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I installed Tracker (because it wasn't installed yet), configured it, had it index my locations, turn on searching for Files and Weather and logged in again. After that it worked flawlessly.

Image missing from design view

Hi. In DW CS4 on XP.
I have an image that is missing in my design view from DW. It shows up in the live view, but when I select it I cannot get the option to change the image.
I do not want to change the image in the code. It is not loading my new picture under the same filename for some reason.
I have all the visual aids shown except the first 2 listed: CSS layout backgrounds & box models.
I tired selecting all over the table this page is designed in. I cannot seem to select that picture missing. Right now it is a missing link & usually I am able to click the missing link box. I even tried opening it up in DW 8, but I am not even able to select the box, but at least I see it.
Please help if you can.

I would have said "Try renaming the folder containing the images in Rh's Project Manager. That sometimes fixes the problem. You can revert to the old name afterwards."
Keeping all the images, and / or topics, in the root is never a good idea. It can slow things down and it's messy.
You can move the images you can see but obviously you cannot move the others. Try moving a topic that has one of the images to a different folder and see if that refreshes. Also try deleting the CPD file and reopening Rh.
Backup first.

Parts of PDF image missing

I am very puzzled. I downloaded an owners manual from the manufacturer's website in PDF format. I downloaded to my MacBook Pro, and on my Macbook Pro, the manual is perfect. However, when I move the manual to the Books section of iTunes and upload it to iBooks, parts of the exploded diagrams are missing. In fact, in some cases, some of the entire image is missing. Instead of going that way, I uploaded it to Dropbox. Once again, on my MacBook Pro, the manual is perfect. When I look at my Dropbox folder on the web (via Safari), it's parfect. But when I access Dropbox through my iPad, parts of the images are missing. When I went to the manufacturer's website via Safari on my iPad and looked at the manual online via my iPad, the same parts of the images are missing. The text is all perfect. I have never had this happen to me before, and I keep a LOT of manuals, articles and magazines on my iPad. Does anyone know why this could be happening and what, if anything, I can do about it?

Not enough info. What version of ID? What version of AI?
How are you saving the AI files? What are you PDF export settings?
Have you checked everything with overprint preview on?

Images missing GPS info in photo library

hey everyone,
I've been using iPhone taking picture and screenshot, import images from other app like GoPro App, wechat, etc,
I'm pretty sure before not only the photo taken by iPhone build-in camera has the GPS info, the rest image also has that GPS information, it was before my recently update.
Now i'm using iPhone 5 with Macbook iPhoto 9.6.1, all the images except those taken by iPhone build-in camera are missing the GPS info!!
Can anyone tell me what just happened? is that update really did something, or there is an setting I can bring them back?

i never actual use these forums, only came across this Q while browsing google for some developer info on ios gps dictionary keys and why ios when taking pics wont use the gps acquired date/time for the kCGImagePropertyGPSDateStamp//kCGImagePropertyGPSTimeStamp in photo meta tag fields even tho it has the gps co-ords stored. i'll stick stackoverflow so

Images Missing in Detail Layout? Please Help!

So for some reason the details section of my web apps will not show images, and I cannot figure out why.
Images were showing up before, but when I imported the items from a spreadsheet, the images went missing! The image files (.jpg) are still in the images folder, and they display correctly on my list layout. Ive tried using my {tag_photo} tag without any HTML, and even deleted the web app and started over, but the problem still persists.

Just for anyone that wants to know the issue:
On import through spreadsheet Arielr190 missed the required / before the image folder for the custom image field. This is needed to tell BC to read from the root.
What was happening was the image path thought it was inside the web app folder, which it was not.
This is now fixed.

Album cover image missing in Itunes

Itunes added most of the album covers I have in my music library but some are still missing I have gone to google.com and clicked on images then searched for album cover images, chose a cover and saved to my desktop, but the image will not paste. What am I doing incorrectly? I have recently upgraded to I'11

Thank you, I found the answer on "More like this..." The step I was missing was clicking on file, then get info...I was able to paste my image.

Address Book Images Missing

Almost all of my images in the Address Book have disappeared. The few that are there are the last 3 or 4 I added. When I look in Application Support/AddressBook/Images folder, I can actually find the missing images. However the UUID doesn't match the contact file in the Metadata folder.
1) What could cause this to occur?
2) Is there any way to fix it?

I've had the same thing happen to me, too. I'm guessing it happened sometime in the last few weeks. I can find the folder with the images but they aren't showing up in the address book or mail. What happened?
