Hi, after implementing new sps, we have problem with broadcasting via emial and mhtml, mhtml file is in attachement, before sps it was in body of email, heva you any advice for this. NW 2004s SAPKW70020

1. "Always Send Windows-Friendly Attachments" has nothing to do with the display of attachments on either your machine or other ones. It's an esoteric setting that strips the resource fork from Mac files (that might have them) which could apper as a duplicate file on the Windows machine.
2. Send Plain Text emails. Then it will always be received as an attachment.

NECE print type Email Text and Body not comming in Email

We have maintain Email text and Body in NECE for email body.
But while , we are checking in email , Invoice is coming as attachement, email body is not apprearing in email .

I have maintained text for email body in specific output type for Invoice
In NACE transaction , in V3 Billing , I have Output type RD0M, in that I have maintained
email Body.
But on the time of generating the Invoice email for Vendor , only Invoice is going in email as attachement,
Email Body which I have maintained in NACE is not coming .
Any Suggestion ?

I wish to send a page via email in the body of the mail. The only option to send a page appears to be to save it first and then attatch to the mail.

When you are in the Plan View, right click on the icon for the page that you want to omit from the menu. Near the bottom, you'll see Menu Options, click on that and you'll have the choice to Exclude Page from Menus.

Send mHTML email using publication but without dynamic recipients

I need to send the content of a report as part of the email body. I have used Publications to achieve the same. However, I do not want to use Dynamic recipients as I need the same email with the same content to go to the same list of people like a normal schedule.
I tried not configuring the dynamic recipients and only put an email in the Destinations section but that didn't work.
Is it possible to send mHTML emails using publication without using dynamic recipients?

I thought you could send a publication anywhere, but I'm not sure you can - I think you have to specify recipients - either Enterprise or Dynamic.
The 3.x admin guide says:

There is no dragging of anything in iOS.
Attach as many files or emails as you'd like until it reaches the max capacity of attachements for the email provider.

I'm having an problem where the RequestCenter automated emails are losing most of their HTML formatting when viewed in Outlook 2007. When I look at the same email in Outlook 2003, the HTML formatting is fine. Here's a picture of the same email displayed in Outlook 2003 and 2007:
When I view the source HTML of the email, I noticed that there are duplicate HTML, HEAD, and BODY tags that have been automatically added by RequestCenter. Apparently these extra tags are ignored by Outlook 2003, but cause problems with Outlook 2007.
This picture shows the HTML source in RequestCenter's HTML editor compared to the HTML source from within Outlook with the extra tags.
I tried removing the HTML, HEAD, and BODY tags in the HTML editor, but the editor puts the tags back in when you save it.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

We've actually had the same problem and had opened a ticket with customer care - it's the editor that's in the version we have (or had, since we are going through the upgrade). What we've had to do is embed xml tags in the body of the email too, and then the team that processes the email has a little application that will process the data in the tags and strip the HTML that the editor applies. Not much help, I know.

VBA: How do I add a shortcut to an email into the body of an appointment

I want to write a macro for outlook that lets me do the following:
1. Move a selected email to a specific folder (with selection box)
2. create an appointment in a non default calendar with the same subject as the email
3. Put a link into the appointment body that links to the email (similar to the option that Outlook gives you when you drag an email onto the calender: "Copy Here as Appointment with Shortcut")
Unfortunately step 3 (creating the link to the email) can not be recreated unsing QuickSteps. Therefore I have to solve this with VBA.

To Edit the body you need to invoke the WordEditor Inspector. You can then program the body as if you were programming in Word itself e.g.

Broadcasting to Email as PDF missing Content from Portal

Hi all
I am new to WAD , i have developed a report and published in portal , my client want to pass some comments about the report and Broadcast to email and send it as PDF through portal to the user by email .
I have used a INPUT_FIELD_ITEM webitem to write comments but it not getting exported to PDF, as of my knowledge all the web items get into PDF, please guide me on this issue.

From here you can check you cacn't able to export the INPUT_FIELD_ITEM to PDF or any other print version. it is a restriction defined by SAP

I have a similar issue here:
I'm working on BW3.5 module and I'm trying to scheule a report in BEX broadcaster with a predefined time. Eg: Every Wed day after Fisc quarter ends. I created a job with name TP_BROADCASTING_**** and included the ABAP program in step :RSRD_BROADCAST_FOR_TIMEPOINT.
Now In the start condition I selected start date as wed day after fisc qtr close and put the period value as every 3 months and restriction in cal Id as factory calendar.
Now I have two questions...How can I select just wed nesday after the fisc quarter close ? Is there a std SAP exit variable exist for this ? Or do I need to create one and write ABAP code in Exit ? I tried with Event and other ways but its not showing in scheduler...
Second one is I logged in to Broadcaster and created new setting for query and filled all recipents etc...now When I tried to schedule this I can not see my Quarterly pre defined time here...But if I change this time to some other calender time period I can see that in scheduler...
Is there any other way of scheduling the reports at a specific time period ?thanks inadvance

I am facing a problem whem i am trying to broadcast as emial a WEB Template from Portal , as i am getting some content only
not the entire, example i have a heading which is missing in th PDF which i am trying to broadcast as email, where as logo and table(Analysis item) are present, so is there a way where in i can control or know to send only specific info into PDF and email to users?

Broadcast is effectively doing an export. Not all the information is converted to PDF when doing an export. Only certain Web Items are exported. So if you have created a text heading without using a web item, then it will not show in the exported / broadcast PDF. But if you created the heading using a text item it would.
You can easily figure out what the broadcast PDF will look like by testing with the export command. Look up help for export command to see what web items are converted to PDF.

Active sync ms exchange not showing body message

Hello I got a problem regarding exchange active sync.
I got an email account based on office 365, works fine on any other apple devices but does not on an iphone 5s 32 gb.
It receives emails with big delay and does not show body message (charging mail...charging mail ...and then hangs without any reason).
Tried to re make the account and tested on other devices works fine. I'm getting mad.
Any other mail account (gmail) works fine. Tried right now on another iphone and it works!
The iphone with the problem's got 7 gb free space.
Any help ^

All resolved at last
Deleted the SMTP setting
Recreated the SMTP using the same settings
Able to send emails now
No logic - as usual - just a bug!
