Broke my iphone today!!! Need my contacts now!
So... today i menaged to backup my stuff from my iphone, but i need my contacts in that backup!!, is it possible to get the contacts from that backup and put it in the ipad? how??
You should have been syncing your contacts with your computer or cloud service regularly.
Have you failed to do this?

My Iphone 4 isn't working, It got wet and now I have it in a bag of rice. I heard that I should not try to turn it on or mess with the power button, so I haven't. It makes sounds when I get a text message but the screen is blank., I have tried to contact apple support online and it tries to send my iphone a message, but because it doesnt work, I can't receive it, so if I decline the "health check" then it says that it's "unable to complete my request at this time. Please try again in a few minutes or start over now." I have tried this several times and it's still not letting get any help. I don't know what to do. Someone please help. How did you get help with your phone when it got messed up or damaged?

-ShannbudA wet phone is out of warranty. This is considered user damage. Even if you were able to get it to start now, the chances of it working for long are slim. I suggest going to Apple and see about an OOW replacement. One for the iPhone 4 is only $149USD and it would come with a short warranty. It is a refurbished device and you would not be worried about encountering additional problems.

You can download any purchases made via iTunes to a new device:

If you have an iCloud backup of the old device, you can restore the new device from that backup when you set it up:

Hello, someone stole my sons IPhone today in his gym class. I have the "find my iphone app" on my phone BUT he is not a listed device. I went into his itunes account and downloaded the "find my iphone app" app under his account. When I try to log into "find my iphone" under his name on my device I get an error msg involving icloud......he is MUCH better at this stuff then I am BUT he is in school and now I need to figure out how to use the "find my iphone app". PLEASE HELP
It doesn't matter whick account you use to download the app.
You have to sign into the app (or iCloud.com from a web browser on your computer) with his Apple ID & password.
Find My iPhone will only work if it was enabled in the iCloud settings on the device and it was powered on with a connection to the internet -
My iPhone suddenly lost all contacts this afternoon. Hadnt even been using it. When I tried to Back it up and resync on the computer it wanted to update after installing the update to the computer it crashed the phone. Now I have no assess to the phone. It has gone to the original setting that tells you to connect to iTunes. iTunes does not recognize the phone any longer.

Warranty and support is only valid in the country of origin, or in the case of a device purchased in an EU country, only in an EU country.
Unless you will be visiting an Apple store in one of the EU countries before the warranty expires, you are pretty much out of luck.

There is no such thing as an unlock code for an iPhone. It's done by restoring the phone using iTunes

Your contacts will only be where you put them.
They will be in whatever program/cloud service that you had chosen to sync. -

What happened to your phone that you are trying to restore to a backup that is encrypted? If you have your contacts in iCloud, you can just turn iCloud back on when you get the phone working, if it isn't, and that will bring your contacts back. You won't need to do a restore from an iCloud backup if you were not doing an iCloud backup anyway. If you log into www.icloud.com and look at contacts, what do you see there?

You can receive and respond to iMessages that are sent to your iPad and iPhone from other iOS users. Make sure you have Messages, set up and turned on on your iPad. You will not be able to receive texts from non iOS devices.
Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. They will explain your out of warranty options for replacement of your iPhone. -

I guess I have more then one Apple ID accounts and I own a little money on both and I am willing to pay and when I try to update and put my new payment method in my iPhone it tells me I need to contact iTunes support, the apple id I'm useing now is xxxxxxx and I know that I had one with xxxxxxx but apple won't let me use that one anymore it just say account nolonger promitted. I used my apple Id and my iCloud account on my mom's iPhone and all my contacts and stuff went to her phone and hers on mine. I tried to delete my apple id off of her phone now how do I delete the iCloud? And will the data from my phone be deleted too if I delete my iCloud off of her phone?

Well, yeah. You want to create separate accounts for each of you, using individual Apple IDs. I know mothers and daughters like to share clothes, shoes, handbags, etc. but don't share Apple IDs. -
I'm having a billing issue with my apple id. I got my first iPhone today and I've signe din etc however before i can download any apps etc i need to resolve an old payment apparently. The problem is i cant enter my new card details because the issue is registered to when i was in America and i require to pay the funds from an American source. Any ideas how i can resolve this? It wont accept my new card detail as im back in the UK. I think i have posted this in the wrong area but anyone got any ideas?

You can email Apple for help but the link is for the iTunes store not the Mac App Store. You've inadvertently poasted in the Using Mac App Store forum but that's ok. Billing issues are the same for the iTunes Store.
