Broken images when using encondig

Hi, we are using webcenter (10.1.3.3.0) and integrate some portlets that provide html content with embedded images. The html content is generated with xml/xsl components. The image links are rendered using the UrlUtils.constructResourceURL() method from pdk. When an image src is rendered by the xsl component, the src href is html-encoded. Afterwards the image src contains html entities in the link, e.g [amp]
(...__adfpwp_mode.452494937%3D1&[amp;]__adfpwp_action_portlet=452494937&[amp;]_rtarget=452494937&[amp;]_resource_url=...)
This images are not displayed within webcenter, the links are not transformed into the resourceproxy url.
When we use a link that is not encoded, then the images are displayed.
Any idea?

Thanks for your replies.
I changed the Iisproxy.xml file from pointing to the IP adress of the network switch to the hostname.domainname but the problem persists. The switch is load-balancing to the 2 application servers out of the 3 servers & both of them have the image file in the respective location.
One thing which I notice is that there are 2 forward slashes in the URL of the image which I get after rightclicking & going to properties,i.e after the ...siatheme//(2 forward slashes instead of one) i.e http://sapep.sq.com.sg:10/irj/portalapps/com.sap.portal.design.portaldesigndata/themes/portal/siatheme//common/treeview/ico12_treebranch_closed.gif
When I remove one forward slash & use the URL http://sapep.sq.com.sg:10/irj/portalapps/com.sap.portal.design.portaldesigndata/themes/portal/siatheme/common/treeview/ico12_treebranch_closed.gif I can display the "close tree brach" image i.e ico12_treebranch_closed.gif. Just wondering if this info helps in more suggestions of helping solve this issue.

Broken image when exported to MS power point presentation

Hello All,
I am having issues with Xcelsius, I always export dashboard into a powerpoint presentation and for some odd reason today it shows up as a broken window. The file I am working on has 2 .swf files along with a selector which switches between both files. When I export the file and it opens up in powerpoint everything works smoothly but once I save it and re-open it, that's when the broken image comes up. Please does anyone know what could be causing this issue? I need to get this fixed asap because this is for a presentation Below is what it looks like.

I have experienced the same thing with Microsoft Office 2007. I had created PPT presentation, it had worked fine but after reopening it became broken. I solved this problem and now it works fine.
Unfortunately, I don't have determined solutions but I recommend to try the next things which I did:
1. Install the FP2.1 on Xcelsius
2. Decrease security in Powerpoint Macro Settings -> "Enable all macros",
ActiveX Settings - "Enable all controls"
3. Install the last version of Flash player (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/)
4. Clean temp folders - as I understand Xcelsius firstly creates tmp file inside Temp folder then Xcelsius tries to make it embedded inside Powerpoint presentation. So, the problem can be connected with this thing.
4. Try to manually insert Xcelsius objects into Powerpoint presentation:
    - Create SWF file inside Xcelsius
    - Create powerpoint presentation by using Microsoft Powerpoint
    - Save it as PPT (2003 version)
    - Open Developer Tab (if it's hidden you should make it visible) inside Powerpoint
    - Click Insert control on this Developer tab (icon with hammer and forceps) in Powerpoint
    - Choose Shockwave Flash Objects in appeared long list "More control"
    - Draw the control on a slide
    - Choose the control and click properties
    - Find Movie property, indicate destination of your SWF file
    - Make EmbedMovie "True" - it will put SWF file inside PPT presentation
   - Save and check
By the way, I found a property there "FlashVars" it seems that it's possible to integrate different Xcelsius objects inside presentation by using Visual Basic and this property.
5. Try to install Office 2003 with deleting office 2007
Perhaps, my recommendation will help you to solve the problems.

the thing is that sometimes when starting up windows it givers a broken image, like lot´s of artifacts.
I´m gone try a nv detonator clean up since it´s the second card i´ve tried with this config´s.

I know your problem. Solution is very easy.
Go to nvidia display options, and under the tab "Digital Flat panel Settings", select Monitor scaling or Aspect Ratio scaling. If you choose "Adapter scaling" then you get that fuzzy screen while bootup.
Also, i think latest bios for NX6600gt agp from msi solved that problem, use Liveupdate utility3 to obtain it.

Weird Scrambled images when using Intel HD Graphics

I recently bought a new 15" Macbook Pro and I have been seeing some really weird scrambled images when it is using the integrated graphics. I mostly notice it when switching to Top Sites in Safari or when using Spaces. Now, when I open a program to force the graphics to switch to the discrete 330M card (1Password triggers it, oddly enough), the images correct themselves within a second or two. I tried to take a screen grab using Grab, but that actually scrambles the image even more. Is anyone else seeing this, or is this a sign of a hardware failure?

I also have the same problem, only different circumstances. I've noticed there are several websites that I can go to that yield this issue, and for me the fix was to go into the Energy Saver system preferences and uncheck the Automatic Graphics Switching box. An example of an issue I'm currently experiencing is:

then click on the Reader button and the Safari window background gets all mangled. Click on the reader button again and it all goes away. Now repeat with that system preference turned off and it won't do it anymore.

Color Settings: Getting colors in PS CC to match colors of the image when used as a Windows Background

or vice versa. I probably do not know enough to be able to ask the question properly.
The colors of photos in PS CC are not the same when used as a desktop background in Windows 7. The colors are somewhat more saturated when as a background on the desktop and while not totally unusable, it would be nice to have matching color between my PS editing screen and the photo as viewed as a desktop background.
The following are some conditions that may or may not be relevant to the answer of my following question.
1.) I am a complete novice to Color Management so a presumption of knowledge and the heavy use of jargon may not penetrate my head.
2.) I shoot with sRGB embedded in my photos.
3.) My RAW conversions use sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1.
4.) My PS Color Settings are North American General Purpose 2 with sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1 as the working space and Intent as Relative Colormetric
5.) In the Win 7 Control Panel>Color Management>Device, my Device = NEC LCD2690wuxi, ICC Profile = NEC LCD2690wuxi (default), file name = nl269wui.icm
6.) In the Win 7 Control Panel>Color Management>Advanced, Device profile = System Default sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1 and (everything else set to System Defaults too). The only difference from the PS Color Settings being that Windows is defaulted to Perceptual Intent, but a change in either PS or Win 7 has no effect on the relative color differences.
7.) The monitor is set to the Native internal preset, but the relative differences in color remain the same even if the monitor is changed to sRGB, or any other internal preset.
8.) I have Proof Setup set to Monitor RGB but none of the settings will match the Win 7 Background color.
Now, my question is this. How would you set up your color settings/profile in PS and/or Windows to match color between PS and the Windows desktop of Windows 7?

Line along "bottom" of image when using camera on iPhone 4

Hi all
So I have a brand new iPhone 4 and everything seems fine, except for an issue when taking pictures with the camera, which I have a sneaking suspicion is a hardware fault. I'm hoping not, but I don't hold out much hope...
So when I take pictures, I have a line parallel with the bottom (side with the home button) of the iPhone. This appears both in the preview image when taking a shot, and on the saved image. It does not show when shooting video, but I have noticed the image is zoomed in slightly when shooting video, and the line is not in this.
The line is approximately 1cm away from the edge of the screen. This is not a discoloration, like with the bonding agent, it looks like a line of pixels.
I have taken a picture, but can't see how to upload it on this forum. If it'll help, I'll upload elsewhere and link it.

And also when I completely turn my iphone off it doesn't reboot when I hold the power button in and I had to do a soft reset to make it restart but even when I did that it wouldn't reboot and about 1 hour later when I tried it again it did the screen was white with nothing on it apart from a small oval in the middle of the screen showing my lock screen and it took 4 hours for it to sort itself out and then it started flickering :( :( please someone help what can I do??!!

Moving original images when using a "referenced" iPhoto library...

Hello.
My iPhoto library is "referenced" (ie. iPhoto does not copy the images when importing) to my RAW image library which is manually organized outside the iPhoto library. If I want to move the location of these images, does anyone know how iPhoto handles this? Does iPhoto loose track of them when I move them? Will I have to individually re-link all the images? Is there a good way of going about this?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I've had a test alias library find all of the files automatically when the move was to a different location on the same hard drive. Moving to another hard drive it was hit or miss as Terence mentioned. Sometimes re-pointing to a single file in a folder got the whole folder, sometimes not.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. Report does not render image when using DoCmd.OutputTo to PDF

I have a form that has an embedded report and a series of cmd buttons to print the report or export it to file and saves it.
In the report I have an Image object (a logo) that is in the header.
When I print the report to a printer or a PDF printer the image is present.
When I use DoCmd.OutputTo the report is properly exported to PDF and saved but the image is not present.
I've tried playing with the ExportQuality, the "fit to page", etc... but nothing seems to get it working.
here is the vba I use

given that you've gone 12 hours with no reply; I generally don't have any problem with the logo going from the Report object to the PDF export. When a report is opened on screen - right click - and one of the choices is 'Export To' and one of those
choices is 'PDF or XPS' - - - just try that as a sanity check....
there are 2 kinds of image controls - I can't remember off hand their formal name but one has the image embedded permanently inside the report object and so this one should go to the PDF.....the other type is a file link to the image for which the advantage
is that image can be dynamically changed on the fly. This second type probably will not appear in an export as the file link is probably broken....

Picture appears white (cannot see the image) when using camera raw filter in photoshop cc

I have a fresh install of Photoshop CC on my macbook. I am running into an issue when editing an image in Photoshop cc and using the camera raw filter. If I choose the camera raw filter camera raw opens up but all I see is white - the picture is not showing within the camera raw interface. This happens whenever I am working on a layer and apply the camera raw filter. The only time it works is when I do not have any layers but only the image as it comes directly from within camera raw - then it works fine. I'm guessing there is something really basic I am missing but it is maddening!

The Camera RAW filter will not work on an adjustment layer alone. Select the layer with the image and the adjustment layer and convert to a smart object to apply the Camera RAW filter to the image with the adjustment layer applied.

No image when using Photo Booth

The Photo Booth preview screen is black. When you take a picture it cycles but there is no image aquired. When I try to use iChat the camera works. Is the a software problem? How can I fix it?

I am running a new Pro L10 M360 laptop, using XP Pro.
However, when connecting to a PC Projector there is no signal/no image on the screen (either screen) the toggle fn buttons dont make dif either. its like there is no signal. can anyone help???

you can try to switch between the devices when you go to START - Control Panel - Display - Settings. There you see Screen 1 and 2 and you can switch between them! Also at Advanced at Dual display settings or Extended desktop are settings which should be checked!

How to move the screen (image) when using a tool?

I know there is a shortcut and I forgot it, I am using the magnetic lasso tool and going through a detailed selection when I need to move the screen image because it is a lot bigger than what I can see. I know there is some keys to press for the hand tool to appear,,,anyone know what they are??

Why do some webpages not finish loading images when using cellular data instead of WiFi?

I'm using iPhone 6 64gb. The problem existed with iOS 8.0.0 and the iOS 8.0.2 update.
I have had trouble with webpages loading slowly over AT&T LTE. Sites with multiple images frequently have trouble loading all the images entirely. Instead, the unloaded portion of the image fills in with black or the image fails to load at all. If I switch to WiFi when available and refresh the page, the images will usually reload completely. I never had this problem with the iPhone 5s on the same websites.

I'm on AT&T with an iPhone 5 first gen. This problem is happening across iPhone4s al of the way to iPhone6+
Thought it was only affecting newer iPhones with new Graphic Processors but I later ruled that out.
Seems to only be happening on LTE / 4G. Is not affected on WIFI for me.
I clear cache, crash browser and even reset the phone but will still get unexpected results in LTE or 4G.
The images seem to be getting prematurely cached and are only partially rendering.
When I save the these half loaded images in photoshop I get a warning that they are damaged and/or truncated.
I have saved images out as PNG and JPGs renders poorly.
About the images-
These images are only 15k and there are 16 on the page so I can't see why they would get bottlenecked when loading.
also, there is no background-color of black anywhere in the CSS.
Note the TV-Like static on the bottom image similar to the comment ryzer08 above.
