Broken links on Designer Documentation page

On the following page [http://otn.oracle.com/docs/products/designer/content.html] there are incorrect documentaion links.

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for bringing to our attention that the link is broken.  Will work to get that fixed.
CCNA  Discovery is a four course curriculum  offered within the Cisco Networking Academy Program.  Students who participate in Networking Academy, have access to a discount voucher upon completing the final assessment with a specific score or higher.
If you are currently a Networking Academy student, your instructor should be able to activate the exam and then you can try to qualify.  If you are not a NetAcad student, you are not eligible for a voucher.
Does that help?

  • Broken links on CCNA Discovery page

    Hi there,
I just wanted to bring attention to the broken links on the CCNA Discovery page. I am currently studying for my CCNA and was informed that there was a CCNA exam discount program offered by Cisco for completion of these learning modules. Not all of the links to the learning modules are missing, just a majority of them.
    http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/netacad/course_catalog/Certification_Exam_Discount_Program.html
Is this something that Cisco still offers or would the broken links imply this is an expired offer?
Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • Broken Links on Dynamic Services page

The links to download the Dynamic Services kits are broken after the Eligibility Export restrictions page.

You might try the Dynamic Services message board for a faster response.

  • Broken links on the web page :(

    Hi Guys
I have been chasing this for a few weeks now & no one seems very interested in the issues with the web site
    On this web page
    http://www.palm.com/au/support/treo680/downloads/680mr_win.html
    Their is a link
    Download: Treo680_2_12_ROW_desktopupdater.zip
    The HTML is
    javascript:NewWindow('/au/support/downloads/legal.html','560','420','1')
    Unfortunately the page
    /au/support/downloads/legal.html
    Does not exist.
So my customer (yes I'm a palm developer) cant download the file.
Does anyone know how to contact
    1. A person at Palm ?
    2. The webmaster at Palm ?
    3. Someone in support at Palm ?
    4. How to get the file without accessing the palm site.
Palm has really changed over the years & this is really disappointing !!!
    TIA
    NG
PS - Palm - Pls. note my customer is not prepared to pay for support to have this rectified as you have previously suggested

    Hi Guys
My customer has been doing some digging & has asked me why these posting in early 2009 are still causing problems, thats 6 months ago
    http://forums.palm.com/palm/board/message?board.id=support_downloads&thread.id=8554
Looks like Palm are not going to fix these issues if they have been outstanding for more than 6 months !!!!
What should I tell my customer ???
    TIA

  • Broken Links 9.2 documentation

What is going on with your site. It keeps looping me back to a login screen. I can not view any documentation. I comes to a different search screen which can not find anything either.

Must have been a temporary problem, because these links all appear to be fine...

  • Reporting broken links

Is there a quick and easy mechanism to report broken links? A documentation link form help.sap.com doesn't work:
    http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/PftPF/en/pf_usersguide_780c.pdf
Maybe I'm blind, but I just can't seem to find a "report a dead link" type of thing.

    Hello Mark,
That website doesn't have any feedback mechanism I am aware of. Just a thought, but if you post this in the forum category most related to that topic, someone from Product Management in SAP might see it as they read the forums here and the documents posted on the help.sap.com portal are written by people in the Product Management org.
    Best Regards,

  • Can't repair broken links

    Hi
I've got 267 broken links on a single page, all images.
there seems to be no difference between surviving links and broken links,
I have tried to fix the links in the link inspector and the properties panel, which failed.
I think this might take a long time to repair, so I don't want to go down any wrong paths, especially with me being a relative newbee an all.
The page in question is here:
    http://denchworthponds.co.uk/Pond%20Construction.html
It's an image heavy site in which every image has
a thumbnail, a thumbnail rollover and a large lightbox image that activates when the thumbnail is clicked
122 links are OK, 267 links are broken.
I didn't notice before I uploaded the site as it looked fine in 'preview in browser'.
perhaps the problem is in my code - I hope so.
Could it be one of the following?
1/ the photos are in image folders within the image folder on my local site, is it bad practice to have folders within folders on my local site? (i've got loads)
2/ since saving(for Web and devices) the images to my local site, I have opened many of them again in photoshop for image alteration, I was checking for an increase in file size while I was altering the images, but didn't see any. Then, of course, I saved them back in the same folder with same name etc. Was the problem that I merely saved the images, and did not Save for Web and devices? - they were already optimised. (some images were altered manually, others using the Actions pallette)
    3/ Some of the folder names are probably not DW friendly, for instance;
the file pond6thumb4 is in my folder 12pondbuild6 4/11,
DW reads that folder as                   12pondbuild6 4%3A11 -is that the problem?
(-and, as I say, that folder is inside the Images folder on my local site)
The real mystery to me is that 122 links are not broken and I can see no difference between the surviving links and the broken links. It all seems a bit arbitory.
    I'm running CS5.5 on a 2007 iMac duo-core desktop.
    Any thoughts anybody?
thank you for your time and greycells in advance
    - Shaun

Find and Replace should be able to manage that quickly.
    Find: (in source code): %3A
Replace: (blank) or a hyphen ("-")
Rename your folders manually in the operating system.
Or, use the DW Files Panel:
Rename each folder and let DW manage the renaming of the links automatically.

  • CR2008 and VS2008, broken links in documentation

    Hi !
I'm using VS2008 which is delivered with CR2008. I'm looking at the provided online documentation and find there are broken links. For example, on the page http://msdn.microsoft.com/fr-fr/library/aa288402(VS.71).aspx there is a link http://www.crystaldecisions.com/products/dev_zone/net_walkthroughs.asp for CR documentation. That link is now broken.
Where can I find documentation, tutorials and sample programs suitable for CR2008 version delivered with VS2008 ?
    Thanks.
    FPiette

    Hello,
As you've discovered, the Developer Zone (Dev Zone) has been retired.  Most of the content from that site was moved to the SAP Community Network (SCN) and the SAP Developer Network (SDN) that is part of SCN.  There is an [SAP Business Objects Community|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc] on the SCN/SDN site.
You'll see a link to Crystal Reports for .NET in the vertical menu on the left. This is where you want to start. You'll also see a horizontal menu with links to Support, the SDK Library, and Code and Samples.  These links will take you to additional information about Crystal Reports and BusinessObjects products.
I'd like to also clarify your understanding of the version of Crystal Reports that comes with Visual Studios 2008.  VS2008 ships with a bundled version of Crystal Reports.  It is called Crystal Reports Basic, and it's version number is 10.5.  It is not Crystal Reports 2008.  Crystal Reports 2008 is the current version of our stand alone report designer and is v12.x.  CR2008 can be integrated into VS2008, but it is not the version you are using at this time.
When you're ready to deploy your application you can visit the [Crystal Reports for Visual Studio .NET Runtime Distribution - Versions 9.1 to 12.0|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/display/bobj/crystalReportsforVisualStudio.NETRuntimeDistribution-Versions9.1to12.0] wiki for deployment information.
    Sincerely,
    Dan Kelleher

  • Broken links on FOSS open hardware page

    Hi,
Some of the links on the FOSS open hardware documentation page seem broken (http://wikis.sun.com/display/FOSSdocs/Home).
For example, there is a link for Tomatillo to http://www.sun.com/processors/manuals/PIO_ref_manual.pdf but no PDF document appears.
Also the Fire reference manual link is broken: http://www.sun.com/processors/manuals/Fire_Reference_Manual.pdf

I've notified the right person, and this will be looked into.

  • Broken link to Oracle Backup Express Documentation

The link to the Oracle Backup Express Documentation is broken on the site. The following link is on the Oracle Backup Express download page:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/ses1016.html
The link takes you to the Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 10g Release 1 (10.1.6) Documentation page instead of the Oracle Secure Backup Express v10.1.0.0.0 Documentation page.

    Jan,
Thanks for reporting this broken link. The "Oracle Web Services Manager - Feature Overview" link has been updated and is now available from: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/webservices_manager/index.html

  • InDesign crashes when scrolling/editing a corrupted page with a broken link.

Just sharing a problem I had and how I solved it (with help from adobe tech support-thanks!).
Indesign CC running on a Mac OSX 10.9.2
    PROBLEM:
InDesign crashed when ever I reached a certain page in a large document I was working on. On that page was a link to an illustrator file. Somehow this file must have been corrupted, but there was no chance to edit or delete this link/page as the program crashed instantly when ever I tried to manipulated that specific page.
    SOLUTION:
I opened a new, empty document; opened the broken file and moved all pages to the new document: LAYOUT/PAGES/MOVE PAGES; select Move Pages "ALL"; Move to: "Select the new document"; click OK. I went back to the new file with the moved pages saved it and deleted the corrupted link on that page which I could now edit again. Problem solved!
Hope this is helpful for anyone who experience the same problem.

Did you share in the program forum? InDesign

  • Broken Link to Style Sheet in Pages

All of my pages that have a template applied to them show a
broken link to my CSS file. Both the template and the individual
pages have the syle sheet linked to them. The template file does
not show any broken links. The site is setup for document relative
links . In the individual pages the "template html" shows the CSS
link relative to the templates folder and the "page html" shows the
CSS link relative to the page. Is that a problem?
    Thanks, Kevin
    Dreamweaver 8.02

The Templates directory should be named with a capital "T",
    and there should
be no other files in that folder than your DW templates.
Please move the CSS file to some other location in your site,
    and allow DW
    to adjust that link....
