Hi, my iphone 5 is only a few months old and yesterday the screen was smashed. Iv booked an appointment in my closest Apple shop, my question is, as my phone is so new will my phone me coverd in its year garintee? or will i have to pay the £140-ish to get it fixed? Any help is appreciated!! im truely devistated

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.

We put a battery in from my mother's micro and it worked fine. It even charged it. I purchased an extended warranty on the player, but they don't cover batteries. I called Creative and was told since it was past three months old, I would have to pay 2.00 to talk to them. I decided not to pay the 2.00 and get support through email. Well, here is the answer according to creative zen; The battery is under a year old so if it is dead, they will replace it. Now here is the interesting part. I will have to send in the whole player and the battery so they can verify it. It will cost me a non-refundable 25.00 to do this. Has anyone out there experienced this? What happened?

Your battery has a memory inside of it. The memory tells the computer how long to charge the battery until it's full. When the battery constantly gets only half charged, the memory gets corrupted. This is a problem with any device that uses a battery and gets charged. Cell phones always have this issue.
I would first try to let your laptop go completely dead with the battery. Next plug in the power for 12+ hours without using it. This may not fix the issue because the memory may already be toast. You can call Apple and see if they will replace it again. The best way to preserve your battery is to always let the battery go dead before charging. This is not easy on a laptop. I have done this on my cellphone and after 3 years it still held about the same charge. I have not done this on my laptop but my laptop is almost always plugged into a power source.

At 5 years old it could be failing or wearing out, but just to check - did you try to turn up brightness and turn off auto dimming in System Prefs -> Display?

Macbook under a year old keeps freezing and often won't wake up from sleep

So in the past week or so my 2012 Macbook has been having a lot of hiccups. I started noticing it wouldn't wake up from sleep and I'd have to just power it down. Then one day I was listening to streaming music and it started skipping and the screen froze and I had to power it down. I updated all my software, ran disk utility and scrapped a bunch of huge files yeterday, but today the screen froze twice and I had to power it down. I bought my machine back in July, I'm really bummed and hoping it's nothing serious this early on. Anyone have further trouble-shooting suggestions?

You have your standard 1 year warranty unless you also purchased AppleCare which gives you an additional 2 years of coverage plus FREE phone support.
Strongly suggest that you take FULL advantage of the above before it runs out. Let Apple deal w/the problems.

WiFi problems I think.... Should I bring it to a store to get it checked out? Whenever I type my password for the WiFi connection, it always says its incorrect and I sometimes can't even connect to the unlocked WiFi servers too

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
