    When I try to sing into Google Groups or Google Finance, I get the message "Your browser's cookie functionality is turned off. Please turn it on". I have gone through all the troubleshooting information and still cannot get into the function. I downloaded the Maxthon browser to see if I could access Google groups and finace and I was able to sign in. This leads me to suspect there is an issue with FireFox. This problem just started this past Monday. Prior to this there were no issues.

    After typing in my Email password, Google mail prints a line stating, "your browser's cookie functionality is turned off.

    I click the "?" . Instructions are listed on how to turn on the cookie.
    They list for Firefox "3" and "2".
    I have selected all items as requested. I still cannot access my Google Email.

I don't understand why I am getting this google message which is preventing me from posting, as it seems that the cookies functionality is properly turned on.

  • Cookie functionality is closed

    Not getting mail in Outlook, went to check my account on Comcast.net and got "Your browsers cookie functionality is closed". How do I unclosed this whatever it is so I can get my mail?

    Also, in case you didn't see it while posting your question, we have this help article: [[Websites say cookies are blocked - Unblock them]].
    Please note that some privacy oriented add-ons may override Firefox's standard cookie settings. In case one of your extensions is involved, could you test the problem sites in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
    You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
    * "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
    * Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
    Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run
    After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).
    Any difference?

  • After the firmware upgrade last week, the local WIFI networks pop up when I turn on my phone, I have WIFI turned off, how do I turn off the pop up?

    After the firmware upgrade last week, the local WIFI networks pop up when I turn on my phone, I have WIFI turned off, how do I turn off the pop up?

    What OS X version are you using?
    Can you take a screenshot of the pop-up notification?
    To take a screenshot hold ⌘ Shift 4 to create a selection crosshair. Click and hold while you drag the crosshair over the area you wish to capture and then release the mouse button. You will hear a "camera shutter" sound. This will deposit a screenshot on your Desktop.
    If you can't find it on your Desktop look in your Documents or Downloads folder.
    If you want to attach a screenshot to a response here, click the "camera" icon above the text field:
    This will display a dialog box which enables you to choose the screenshot file (remember it's on your Desktop) and click the Insert Image button.
    ⌘ Shift 4 and then pressing the space bar captures the window the cursor is on.
    ⌘ Shift 3 captures the entire screen.

  • I programmed Firefox to delete cookies when I log off. Now Yahoo! won't remember me. How did I do it so I can go back and undo it?

    I previously programmed Firefox to delete cookies when I log off. Now Yahoo! won't keep me logged on. Yahoo! tech said to restore cookie memory. I don't remember how I took that action. How can I go back and change that setting to retain cookies?

    Tools > Options > Privacy > History > Custom settings
    Accept cookies until they expire
    (You probably don't need 3rd party cookies for remembering logins)

    If it continues to show the connect to iTunes graphic, then you do have to restore the phone. If you have not created a backup of your phone, then I hope you use icould because this will erase all of the info on the phone.

  • How can I get this function to fire off last?

    In the following code, there are two buttons on the stage- "button1" and "button2".
    I want to get the buttons to change frames and THEN have the "playerChange" function fire off.
    Currently, the "playerChange" function fires first. Moving the function  either renders the code inoperable or
    returns error messages.
    function buttonChange (e:MouseEvent)
    {if
                    (e.target.currentFrame == "frame1" )
             if (e.target==button1) (playerChange)
                     (e.target.gotoAndStop(player.currentFrame + 1))
               else{player.gotoAndStop(player.currentFrame)
              if (e.target==button2)  (playerChange)
                    (e.target.gotoAndStop(player.currentFrame + 1))
              else{player2.gotoAndStop(player2.currentFrame)
    button1.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,buttonChange );
    button2.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,buttonChange);
    Note:this is an abridged version of the code. The code I'm actually using uses 20 buttons and about 8 conditionals for each button, so e.target is more convenient than writing a command for each button.

A: How can I get this function to fire off last?

the code is very hard to understand
it's badly formatted
{}'s don't match
you aren't calling a playerChange function
this is my guess at something that might work for you
function buttonChange (e:MouseEvent)
          if(e.target.currentFrame == "frame1" )
                    if (e.target == button1)
                              e.target.gotoAndStop(player.currentFrame + 1);
                              playerChange();
                    else
                              player.gotoAndStop(player.currentFrame);
                              if (e.target == button2)
                                        e.target.gotoAndStop(player.currentFrame + 1);
                                        playerChange();
                              else
                                        player2.gotoAndStop(player2.currentFrame)
button1.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,buttonChange );

  • Has anyone with sprint have time/date issues as well as imessage function automatically turning itself off?

    has anyone with sprint had time/date issues as well as imessage function automatically turn itself off?

    Im having the same problem, I updated my Iphone 4S to 6.1.3, shortly after that my phone had no audio. It was working fine one minute and then stopped. Was listening to music when sound gave out on me. It wont ring, phone just vibrates even after turning off vibration option. I've tried all the options listed and nothing. My phone has never been jailbroken either. If I connect the earphones is works perfectly. On one of my last calls received, phone's ringtone was heard for about 2 seconds before muting and just vibrating. Ringtone sounded perfect, speakers did not sound damaged.
    What else could be done? I've read several post regarding this and it seems like Apple has no solution to this yet. Very dissappointed.
