"Browse Presets" in Bridge Problem

"Browse Presets" from within Premiere and AE does not open Bridge. I have to open Bridge, but i cannot get the effects and presets thumbnails to animate in Bridge.
Double-clicking on the preset DOES place the effect on the desired clip - no problem there..

I've never seen that option available for Premiere.  Only AE.

  • Addding Preset from Bridge .ffx into AE

How do I add a preset (background) from Bridge into After Effects (CS3, Windows)?
    Thanks for your help,
    Al

Presets and templates can be added without problems when launching Bridge from within AE using "Browse Project Templates" or "Browse Presets in Bridge". Once in Bridge, simply double-clicking on a preset will apply it to the selected layer in AE or open up the project template. Launching Bridge alone and simply clicking on a preset does not provide this functionality. It does not establish the required loopback connection between the two programs.

  • CS3 Browse presets

I have just installed CS4 web premium on my iMac. I didn't upgrade After Effects so am still using CS3.
When I go to Browse Presets... from the Effects palette, Bridge CS4 opens, but the path to my presets is not working. It is opening at the last viewed folder on my HD.
    Can this be fixed please?

Thanks for your reply. In Bridge, ctrl (right) clicking on files gives you the option to Open With...
It turns out that following a response from Adobe support, AECS3 is NOT compatible with Bridge CS4. It led to me having to re-install Bridge CS3
Re-installling Bridge CS3 was a lengthy affair with a lot of disc swapping involved. I doubt I am the only Adobe user with this issue & anticipate as the roll-out of CS4 becomes more widespread, other users who have After Effects CS3 as a standalone product may need to be advised not to remove Bridge CS3.
The methods of applying/placing presets from Bridge CS4 is not compatible with AECS3 & this broken path link resulted in considerable down-time for me whilst repairing the problem caused by me removing Bridge CS3.
I am surprised that in this case, Adobe has not considered AECS3 users may through the installation of CS4 web or design suites upgrade Bridge & lose functionality if they remove Bridge CS3.

  • After Effects:CC, Shift+F9 stopped working, and Browse Presets does nothing

While working with my Easy Ease, the SHIFT+F9 just no longer works or hasn't since installation. SHIFT+CTRL+F9, or F9 work as intended.
(I checked the pref text file for my keyboard short cuts and SHIFT+F9 is assigned correctly)
Now when I create a preset then wish to view or browse my presets I click Animation > Browse Preset, and nothing happens.
(Made a shortcut to my preset folder)
    Windows Enterprise 7 X64, 8gb ram.

In CC you have to install Bridge separately. That will fix the browse presets problem.

  • "Browse in Adobe Bridge" from Right Click Menu

    Adobe Suite CC2014
    Windows 7 Pro 64-bit SP1
In earlier versions of Adobe Bridge, if you right context a folder, "Browse in Adobe Bridge" was an item.
This no longer appears to be the case.
Is there a Preference setting to make this occur?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Browse Presets...missing templates

Hi I downloaded the cs5 production premium from here but seem to be missing all of the presets and templates that should come with it. When i click browse presets, it opens bridge, but nothing appears. Could somebody help me out here please?

I didn't ask about Bridge. I asked if you can see the text animation presets in the Effects & Presets panel. I'm trying to determine whether the animation presets are there, but the connection to Bridge is what's broken.
Also, you said 'text animation templates'. Are you referring to animation presets or template projects? They are very different things.

  • Browse in Adobe Bridge CS6 - default to 64-bit version

I have Adobe Bridge CS6 32-bit and 64-bit installed. I prefer to use the 64-bit version, but whenever I right-click a folder in Windows Explorer and choose 'Browse in Adobe Bridge CS6', the 32-bit version always opens. How can I make this default to the 64-bit version? There doesn't seem to be a way to uninstall the 32-bit version.

    Edit your System Registry on:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\Bridge
Change the path that is pointing at 32bit version and set it to point at the location of 64bit version:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Bridge CS6 (64 Bit)\Bridge.exe "%L"

  • Does Bridge CC have more text animation presets then Bridge CS6?

so I upgrade from CS6 to CC and did not install Bridge CC. Then while in After Effects CC I try to view the text animation presets, but window informs me I do not have Bridge CC installed. I then download and install Bridge CC and view the animation presets, but seem all the same as Bridge CS6 has.
My question is - Does Bridge CC have more text animation presets then Bridge CS6.
Is there another procedure to acquire more? Did I click past something on my first launch of Bridge CC?

My question is - Does Bridge CC have more text animation presets then Bridge CS6.
Best try this in the After Effect forum, to my knowledge not many AE users are here at a regular base. Besides that, every suite version has its dedicated applications to work together in that suite, CC is no exception to that so for best practice use Bridge CC.

  • Browse in Mini Bridge is not Available under File Menu in Photoshop CC

Recently installed Bridge CC and Photoshop CC in Windows 7 enviornment. "Browse in Mini Bridge" option is not available under the File menu. I reinstalled Bridge CC, rebooted, yatta yatta, but no Mini Bridge option. Any ideas how to get it to install/come up?
    Thanks!

Mini Bridge is no longer available, so it's never going to show up again. All Flash-based extension panels were removed from Photoshop, and Mini Bridge was one of them. More info here:

  • Folders browsing in Mini Bridge. Best practice

    Good morning,
I use Bridge since we have no possibilitiy to see PSD files preview in Photoshop open dialog anymore and pretty satisfied with Bridge functionality.
But Mimi Bridge is different story. For example, I have some dosens of subfolders within main 'Work' folder and usually jump to the right folder simply typing first letters (client name). This works in Bridge but not in Mini Bridge, making the addon useless for me (scrolling is too time consuming for my business).
What is your personal best practice for file browsing in Mini Bridge? Can I switch-on 'browsing through typing' somehow?

What is your personal best practice for file browsing in Mini Bridge? Can I switch-on 'browsing through typing' somehow?
After the first appearance in CS4 (I believe?) it was a promising panel with great possibilities to come. Sadly enough they screwed the next version in a very bad way and never made an effort to repair or develop it further for production user needs and requests (which nowadays seems common practice with Adobe to be frankly).
Your best shot is preparing a collection or a smart collection (with your clients name as search for a complete result) in Bridge itself and navigate to the collection in the folder panel of MB. This avoids to have long waits for cache to build for each new selected folder and multi clicking to find the wanted folder. But as said, that is not the solution you really wanted to hear.
For me first preparing a collection in Bridge with the files I think I need for a project (mostly for a photo album) and then chose this in MB is the only way to make MB working in some way. Combined with creating a new workspace in PS with a floating MB panel (otherwise you can't have multiple rows of thumbs). This is still better then switching between applications but knowing that it could have been so much easier often makes me angry...
