Please can anyone help? Using DW CS5 -.Using Spry Menu Bar 2.0 - have it all formatted - ran Browser Compatibility -Shows my Spry link reference has error. Here is the code

What on Earth are you doing?
@D:\oracle\apex\apexins.sql raman apex apex temp /i/ none
You're supposed to set the working directory to apex before you start SQL*Plus and then the command line would start with @apexins.
ORA-04021: timeout occurred while waiting to lock object SYS.DBMS_LOCK
After this all is futile. I'd say start over, maybe restart the db and try again starting in the correct directory/folder.

I have created a BW Report iView..containing a Bex query.
Have created the required BW system object too.
When I preview this iView, it asks me for BW system authentication....since am not mapped to this BW system.
Its alright till here......
Problem:
Now, when I copy paste the URL (URL generated when you preview this iView) into a new browser window, I get an error saying:

Access denied (Object(s): <<i>iView path</i>>
Exception id: 02:57_13/02/06_0034_6204550
See the details for the exception ID in the log file</b> "
I checked tha bove mentioned log and it says:
<b>Permission check failed - Object <<i>iView path</i>> Pcd.Use Principal: Information not available with current trace level#</b>
Changed the iView authentication scheme to every value present but it did not resolve.
Please help me resolve this.

How to handle system errors in XI using BPM? please help!

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement where I have to handle system errors. For example when I am making RFC call using RFC adapter if the remote destination is down then I have create a understandable error message and store it in another SAP table.
How to handle it? I am using BPM. I can see that there is "Exceptions" in the send step. How to use this?

Hi Gopalkrishna,
In this case whenever you get Mapping Exception , you can raise an Exception with the help of BPM and you can send the status to the RFC. But with the help of BPM.
For a Simple case refer:

If you want you can do it without a BPM
and throw an exception in case any of the values is missing:

I created a DB Link with name "CTM_DBLINK".
i want to create DB Link with different name but using same server and connection also same.
When i am trying this its shows error :
"ORA-00933:SQL Command not properly ended."
My Query :
create public database link "CTM_BANK"
connect to ABC
identified by <pwd>
using 'database';
i am getting error on line 3 : identified by <pwd>

Try enclosing the password in quotes.
Same problem occurs if you try to create a user using the password you have given.
SQL> create user abc identified by abc!;
create user abc identified by abc!
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00922: missing or invalid option
SQL> create user abc identified by "abc!" ;
User created.
To create the database link, try this:
SQL> CREATE PUBLIC DATABASE LINK "CTM_BANK" CONNECT TO "ABC"
2 IDENTIFIED BY "abc!"
3 USING 'database' ;
Database link created.
