Browser crash and permanently grayed out

I have been experience an issue with the native browser recently (not the bridge browser). I am in school and in one of my courses we have an online microscope lab that we view virtual slides. The site is very flash intensive but the playbook handles it well initially. However, after awhile the browser will become unresponsive and eventually my only option is to swipe up from the bottom and close the browser. The issue is that the browser icon is then permanently grayed until I restart the playbook.
Anyone have any possible thoughts on how to fix this? I have reloaded the OS and still have the problem.

I just had this issue too, I was on a YouTube page and it stopped responding so I killed the browser. After this the browser was greyed out. I then tried opening messages and calendar but these froze upon opening. I closed both these portrays and now they wer greyed out. Now the entire playbook froze at the home screen and was unresponsive to touch or the hardware buttons......ahhhh!!! Anyway after 2 mins or so, it shut down on its own accord, so what should I do now to help diagnose these issues? Are any reports sent to RIM about the failure automatically or should I pull out some logs and post here?

Yellow triangle and a grayed out movie clip

Hi, I created a project in iMovie 08, kind of elaborate for me, with several movie clips, each with a transition, and background music from iTunes through out the majority of the 3 minute and 30 second final project. Initially, all was well and the project played perfectly. A couple of days later when I went into iMovie 08 to enhance the project, several clips were grayed out and had a yellow triangle in the clip. Placing the cursor over the clip resulted in the clip "coming to life" that is revealing the clip but the clip was not visible in the browser and the grayed out clips were not visible if I played the project in full screen mode. If I published the project to the web, the grayed out clips would not show (the video portion); the audio which was part of the whole project would play. I do not think I moved any clips to a different location although I certainly added other clips to iPhoto and then to iMovie. I just finished the lynda.com training on iMovie 08 which was just released and I got no help from that training on the yellow triangle problem. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

Great news! After some browsing around, I located the problem, and now my movie project is fixed!
As it turns out, videos that are located in iPhoto are referenced based on the Event that they belong to, which means that if you change the name of the Event that the picture belongs to then iMovie will no longer be able to find your picture. (This is also why the clips appear in the lower section of iMovie, because they are still there, just in a renamed or merged event.)
I was able to fix the problem very easily by renaming my event back to the original name, and then after closing and restarting iMovie all the nasty little yellow triangles were gone and all my clips were back as if they'd never left.
This may or may not help, but for me, to make sure that I got the event name correct, I found the movie file (which was in "Movies/iMovie Projects") and then right mouse clicked and selected "Show Package Contents" so that I could see what was in my project, and then opened the "Project" file, which had the names listed in it. Music on my iPhone 5 won't play and is grayed out. HELP!

I got my iPhone 5 about a year ago and I never had any problems with my music until now. About 2 hours ago, I wanted to download a new song. So after it downloaded, my 4 most recent songs I had downloaded from iTunes the day before became grayed out and wouldn't play! That problem eventually got fixed but now some songs that I have and haven't purchaced from iTunes aren't playing and are grayed out. This keeps showing up next to the songs that are grayed out and when I tap it nothing happens:
I do have iOS 7.0.4, which is the latest softare. I don't know what happened when I plugged my iPhone in this time. I really need help without re-downloading all my music because I have about 500 songs. PLEASE HELP! Feel free to ask questions for details on my issue. Thanks.

Just reboot your laptop... While its rebooting try to reboot your phone also by holding the home and power buttonn for 10-15 seconds...When your phone is turned off try to connect it to iTunes and it will recognize your phone in recovery mode.
If you have the .ipsw file for iOS 7.0.6 saved in your desktop then in itunes press shift and click on Restore.
Select the ipsw file and let it restore.
If you dont have it downloaded then simply click on restore.

I am using firefox ver 8.0.1 and Canon LBP3200 printer. Whenever i give a print command from Firefox the browser crashes and the crash reporter asks for submitting the report.

I am using the printer in a network. the same problem is faced when giving print on the canon LBP3200 from the local computer.
its kind of very irritating.
Even if i open a pdf document in the browser and then give print command the browser crashes and the crash reporter appears.

Then your address book cannot be restored. You might be able to reconstruct it to some point, based on your existing e-mail messages.
There is an [https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/thunderbird/addon/email-address-crawler address crawler add-on] for Thunderbird, but it was not tested with the latest version and might not install. You could try this, however getting this to work with the latest version may need help from the author.
Maybe you could temporarily install an older version of Thunderbird, as suggested by one of the commenters of the add-on.
Addons are not supported by Mozilla directly, but the author might be able to help you with it.

Firefox browser not loading, page tabs not loading, search bar sending me to a different location. back buttons,refresh and x grayed out

search bar is not right, missing one search bar. last week the same bar would take me to a shopping site other than the site i typed in. now some things are missing, or grayed out on the tool bar, back buttons, refresh and red x is one. google button isn't working any more or option buttons. when it loads it doesnt show any tabs from last time. i have to reload several times for it to work. Some pages won't open when selected from my bookmarks.

To find out the version of software you have go to Help and then choose About. I remember reading an article a while ago about a firewall application that when they did an update, it stopped some browsers from working or something like that.

New music will not sync to my iPhone 4, and music that was previously synced but was added to library through a CD will not play and has a red square and is grayed out.

I use iTunes on my family iMac, my iTunes, I believe, one update below the current software any my iPhone is on iOS 7.0.3. Music purchased through iTunes syncs correctly and will play properly. Songs that I have obtained through CD's, however, are now grayed out and have a red square with a circle around it. When I click on the song, it will cycle through my library until it can play a song. iTunes will also not restore songs that I have removed from my iPhone but are in the cloud. Is there any possible way to fix this issue? Everything has been working fine until iOS 7 and the new version of iTunes. Thank you for your time!

I am so relieved to hear that I am not the only one experiencing this! However, I am sorry to hear you are going through this as well. Lucky for me I am upgrading to a 5s which will be sent to me on Wednesday. I did stumble upon an article with tips on how to downgrade back to iOS 7, but I am EXTREMELY apprehensive about doing that myself. Here's the article link if you want to give it a go:

After restarting with ios 7.0.2 - bluetooth spinning beach ball and wifi grayed out

im now not able to use wifi and bluetooth and resetting network settings didn't work. I went ahead and backed up my data and erased all content, tried restoring as a new phone using itunes by recovery mode and to no avail, it still keeps doing this.. any help would be greatly appreciated.. thanks..

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Verify that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.
Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Note: This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
Ensure that your device is using the latest software. To do so, connect your device to your computer and check for updates in iTunes.
If your issue is still unresolved, perform a software restore in iTunes.

9500 Mark II Printer and Photoshop (Mac) Quality and Media Grayed Out

I have a PIXMA 9500 Mark II. I am using the printer on an iMac. In Photoshop, when I choose Quality and Media, the area to choose paper type and tray are grayed out. It work fine in Safari.
I have spoken to Canon, Apple and Adobe and no one seems to be able to get it to work. It works in Safari.
Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, if you continue to have difficulties with accessing the printer settings, we would have to advise that you use our Easy PhotoPrint Pro plugin with Photoshop or print the image using a different program.
The Easy PhotoPrint Pro plugin can be downloaded from our website and is compatible with most versions of Photoshop. Once installed, you can access the plugin from the File/Automate menu of the program.

"About iDVD" and "Preferences" grayed out?

OK, this is a bit weird. I opened iDVD (which I do once a year to make my year-end slideshow on a DVD). I wanted to find out what version of iDVD I have (because I'd like to buy a manual). But "About iDVD" and "Preferences" are grayed out! Does anyone know why this would happen?

You must have an iDVD project open before they become active. You can't access it from the splash window where you select the type of project to create.

also just checked and the session restore file in program files is missing how do i get a new one
