Browser display blank page

Weblogic 6.1 SP2, the console shows that there are data being returned to the browser but the page was blank. It happened suddenly. If we logout (session will be cleared) and login again, the page will be displayed with data returned from server.
This doesn't happen always but sometimes. Anybody has any clue?

MX2004 suddenly displaying blank pages

Hello all
I have been using MX2004 at a very basic level for some years, with no problems at all. When I say basic, I mean just editing page text and perhaps adding new pages to our company website. Anything else is done by our agency, which has worked well for some time.
Now, for some reason, when I connect to our web host server, I can 'get' the entire site and have a full folder list, but when I try and open a page, it just shows blank in all three view-types. The actual web site is fine though. This is very vexing! our agency don't have any problems their end (thankfully) - it just seems to be me.
I've uninstalled MX2004 and then re-installed with the latest updates, but still no joy. I've also deleted all the files from my local machine before 'getting' the site again - only to have the same issue. The ONLY thing that recently changed was the host company moving servers - but I've had lengthy conversations with them and they can see the 'data' on the server (I guess hence a live website), and I can connect to it with no problem. I don't know about 'putting', as I don't want to test it and upload a blank page!
One thing I have noticed is that the download progress box shows the name of the file and size (eg index 0 of 5000 bytes), and although there is activity the actual transferred bytes don;t seem to increase - they stay at '0 of 5000' (for example) then move onto the next file.
I'm really at a loss here, and any help or suggestions (apart from 'smash it with a hammer, which I've already though of) would be welcome. Thanks in advance!

The most common cause of Display view problems is invalid code. Your linked page has a measure share of that!
Please before doing anything else, correct as many of these errors as you can (including your misused Library item! You cannot apply behaviors to a Library item after it has been created. Doing so results in multiple instances of <body> tags on your page as you can see.).

Apache displaying blank pages

I'm trying to access Apache on my server, and when I go to the server's IP address, I only see a blank page. I get no errors, and the browser acts as if it is getting a proper response from the server. However, I see nothing on the screen. I haven't made and configuration changes. Any thoughts?

Here is the latest set of entries from /var/log/httpd/error_log:

Displays blank page when tried to access ORACLE Application Server Control

Hi,
I have successfully installed the Oracle SOA Suite using advance installation.
But when tried to open ORACLE APPLICATION SERVER CONTROL by following the below path.
start-> programs-> oracle-soa->ORACLE APPLICATION SERVER CONTROL, It displays a blank IE page.
But when tried to open BPEL control or WSM control or ESB control, it takes me to the login page.
Note: Started the SOA suite and the status of ASG component in the Start SOA page says Down.Does this affect in anyways?
Would appreciate if anyone could throw some light on this.

I started reinstalling SOA suite and while installation, I encounter below warning.
"A DHCP configuration was detected on this host" The installer also detected that the localhost name and network hostname differ. please resolve the networking issues by reffering the "Installing on DHCP computers" section in the installation guide."
Note: Doing installation in the server.
Wondering this could be the cause for displaying blank Application Server Control page.
And here is, what it says in the installation guide.
Note this limitation when running Oracle Application Server on DHCP computers: Oracle Application Server instances on DHCP computers cannot communicate with other instances running on other computers. For example, you cannot have OracleAS Infrastructure on one computer and a middle tier on another computer if any one of those computers uses DHCP. All the instances that need to communicate with each other need to run on the same computer. There are no limitations on clients: clients from other computers can access the instances running on the DHCP computer, as long as the client computer can resolve the DHCP computer on the network.
The solution for this is installing loopback adapter. But the catch is, I have few webmethods running on the server. Wondering about the effects of Loop back adadpter on webmethods. Please someone throw some light.

QM Desktop - Report tab displays blank page

Hi all,
I'm currently running UCCX7.0(1) with QM2.7(3) and i'm facing the following issue.
Thru QM Desktop - Report tab, an IE page will be displayed to show the available reports that we wish to run. It's trying to launch the following link https://<ip.address>:8448/QMR/Login?signature=49B7E14D173A2...E10D664 However a blank page is being displayed.
I remember seeing this a while back where it's something to do with the report templates, files, etc missing / not installed correctly.
a) which folder is storing the report files?
b) is there a way to load the missing files without reinstallation?
c) any other reason why this is happening?

Quick update
I manually change the url from :8448/QMR/xxx">https://:8448/QMR/xxx to :8088/QMR/xxxx">http://:8088/QMR/xxxx and this time the QM Reporting System page is displaying according.
I don't believe there was any option during install/postinstall that enable us to specify if we want to use SSL or not. Any ideas?

Safari 5.1 displaying blank page

After installing Lion, when going to most websites, the page apears for a brief moment then it goes away and a blank page is displayed. Does not happen with every website, e.g., apple.com works fine. Microsoft.com works fine also. MBUSA.com goes blank after flashing on screen. skype.com does not work. Is it possible that Safari is not supporting Flash?
Any help will be appreciated! I though something this fundamental would have been discovered by Apple prior to release! I shouldn't have to do anything to display a web page. This is unlike Apple and more like Microsoft!

i'm having difficulty, as well with about 95% of my sites. i attempted the url you suggested earlier and it loaded quickly.
my solution is hitting the 'reload' button and it works 95% of the time.
however, this is a fine temporary fix, but i have to say that it's quite frustrating. i'm thinking this started happening a couple of weeks ago. couldn't tell you why.

OWA 2007 not displaying (blank page)

I also had this problem, took a while to figure it out..
At first the page would not load and there would be a yellow exclamation mark in the bottom left corner, if you click that it would say “syntax error on line 7 of login.aspx” or something to that effect. After trying may things, I removed and then re-created the OWA virtual directory in IIS using . After this, the yellow exclamation mark in the bottom left corner went away and you were presented with a blank white page.
After much search around for some log file or explanation for why this was happening, I once again recreated the OWA virtual directory, checked all rights and permissions and still the blank white page.
In absolute desperation, I looked at the code in the source code for the OWA site, here are some of the relevant bits:

Notice the difference in the paths.. the OWA virtual directory looks like this: (http://www.g7web.net/downloads/owa1.jpg)
Perhaps a dodgy update on the 29th or something, whatever the reason the files in the 8.0.709.0 folder don’t seem to be working, so, I used the files from the 8.0.685.24 folder and copied them into the 8.0.709.0 folder, now everything works!
Not sure what update of patch caused the problem, will do some more investigation into it.

Safari displays blank pages for some sites

MBP 15 inch. mid-2014
OS X Yosemite 10.10.1
Safari Version 8.0.2 (10600.2.5)
Some pages, sometimes on Apple's on support site simply display as blank pages. The same page displays perfectly on Firefox or Chrome. What is this strange behaviour? For example, this link: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH15327 shows a completely blank page. See: http://i.imgur.com/PRPWgus.png
The same site displays without problem in Firefox:

I have no extensions installed in Safari. JS is enabled, all settings are default. This is a fresh and clean install of Yosemite. No anti-virus installed.
What's going on? Any pointers will be appreciated. Thanks.

As an aside, and I don't have specific data for this, but Safari does seem to load some other pages so slowly, it's annoying to the extreme.
How can I debug this? (The blank page issue.)

Crystal report viewer are displaying blank page after deploying in web server

Dear friends,
                   i have designed crystal report (in VS2010 & CRRuntime_64bit_13_0_6 installed in web server) it's working fine in local machine even web server also but in http://localhost, if i change from localhost to my domain name or local IP address(like http://192.168.1.71) then it's getting blank page.
but same report if i open in pdf format it's working fine.
I have tried the following one. But this is not working for me.
Copy the entire Crystal Report Support folder
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319\crystalreportviewers13
in web.config, the below code also added.

Crystal report viewer 13 are displaying blank page after deploying in web server

Dear friends, i have designed crystal report (in VS2012 & CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_8 installed in web server) it's working fine in machine VS2012, but when deploying in web server (Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit) it's getting blank page.
I have read the http://adilmca.wordpress.com/2013/04/08/visual-studio-2012-crystal-report-not-working-on-windows-server-2012-0x800a1391-javascript-runtime-error-bobj-is-undefined/. But this is not working for me.
I have copy the entire Crystal Report Support folder : C:\inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319\crystalreportviewers13
Please suggest me some solutions to resolve this issues...

There is something "deeper" happening here (unless you're using dome old version of IIS (v. 6, etc.))... I think logging the app will help. I'd use Process Monitor first - see if you get any "Access Denied" messages. An http sniffing utility like Fiddler may also provide useful info.

Window.open javascript on button causes parent window to display blank page

In Captivate 3, I've created a Text button that executes the
following Javascript:
window.open('stakeholder_part2.htm','', 'fullscreen=yes,
scrollbars=auto');
The Javascript works perfectly, but when it executes, the
page in the parent window goes blank except for the word "object"
in square brackets. Hitting the back button in my browser navigates
back to the Captivate movie.
I've tried every combination of settings I can think of in
the button dialog. Currently I have "top" selected in the window
dropdown, and "Continue playing project" disabled. The only setting
that didn't work at all is "New" ("Current" and "Parent" both
generated the results described above).
Could this have something to do with the fact that the
javascript launches the new window in fullscreen mode?

Preview displays blank page with some pdf files but prints what is hidden

Some of my pdf files have started coming up as blank in Preview. There still is data underneath, which selecting areas will disclose as though you are scraping white out off the print. Printing is unaffected, and only some files are affected. Tried repairing permissions, but no luck. I recently did the OS update, and didn't notice the problem before that. I have restarted the computer a couple times,. a few odd artifacts have shown up on the screen as well, though box selecting over these causes them to disappear. I haven't been able to find any consistent difference in the pdfs that will display properly and the ones that won't. doesn't appear to be associated with when they were created or which version of software they were created with. Saving them under a different name doesn't help. Adobe reader works fine, so it is specific to Preview ( which I would rather keep as my default reader )
Any ideas what went wrong? How to fix it?

I have no trouble viewing the file you posted in the same version of Preview that you have.
Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

RoboHelp Server 8 Displays Blank Page When Going through the Engine

Here is my issue.
I have 6 projects between 2 areas on our RoboHelp Server 8. I have
never had any problems publishing to the server, our IT department had no problems setting up the server including
installing Tomcat. We've changed the port so it would run on the default http port 80. Everything was running smoothly until this morning. When we go to the link that is used to run through the engine (i.e. http://server name:port/robohelp/server?prj=project name&area=areaname), instead of the redirecting page that we normally get, we get a blank white page that shows done in the status bar. Our IT department has tried to restart the server, did not fix the problem, they tried to restart the services (i.e. Tomcat and the RoboEngine), did not fix the problem. I have tried to connect to the server through the RoboHelp development interface and I get an Connection to Server Failed error. I have checked the publishing interface for Webhelp Pro ,which is what we use and all the setting are correct. When I try and refresh the area I get the Unable to get area list from server. We can get to the projects as if what we are using Webhelp. We would use regular Webhelp but that does us no good because then there is no reporting features because it is not running through the engine.
When I go though the Web Admin Interface and try to look at the project section we get an Server is refreshing project data, try again later. This is the same error we have received all day. I'm now stuck and don't know what to do or try. Between my IT dept and myself we tried everything we can think of.
Just another tidbit so it can be ruled out. I have applied the patch to my copy of RoboHelp 8.0.2 patch. And since I'm the only developer right now, that should not be the issue.
I have not tried to delete the project form the server, because
a. I can't see them in the projects pane so I can't delete them and
b. I cannot connect to the server to re-publish them.
Any advise in the matter would be greatly appreciated.

i need to send a whole jsf rendered page as a html page.... . say theres a page which hav few links , images etc & theres a send email button at the end of the page. once the user clicks on the button the whole page shld appear in another window which hav from,to, subject line + the html body of tht earlier page & once he clicks the send button it should send to the sender & the receiver should see the email a s a html email.where u can click on the links,images showin etc...

Here is one approach..
1. Make the report page as PUBLIC ( no Authentication required)
2. Create procedure which will pull the page content and send it to pre-defined e-mail address
2.1 Use utl_http.request to pull the page content
2.2 Store the page content in some PL/SQL variable and pass it as 'p_body_html' parameter to APEX_MAIL.SEND procedure.
3. Schedule the above procedure to run on daily using DBMS_JOB API.
I have not implemented it and its just a thought.

Unable to reinstall any CC programs. Download center displaying blank page

I have read many discussions on this subject and none have been able to solve the problem for me. A lot of the threads just go round in circles. I had a major problem with my PC which now seems to have been fixed. I now want to reinstall my CC applications but when I click on download for Photoshop, for example, it takes me to a blank screen. I know this is a common issue but none of the suggestions have worked for me. I am now getting a bit desperate as I need Photoshop reinstalled very soon.
I have tried accessing the center through both Fireworks and Chrome with the same result.
I am unable to even install the Adobe Cloud Desktop app.
I am on a PC running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

It was Ghostery causing the problems. My computer is locked down very securely. I'll copy the reply I posted on the other forum. I applies just as much to this one. Thanks to everyone for all your help. It is very much appreciated.
I solved the problem. It was Ghostery. It was stopping Adobe trackers. I originally had thought I turned everything off but I keep Ghostery on. Luckily it seems as if the trackers are from Adobe so that is fine. Sorry again for the tone I used. My computer is pretty much locked down with security and privacy software. I am a bit embarrassed but my computers very safe so I'm fine with it. Thank you both very much for replying and your help is very much appreciated. Hopefully I can catch up with everything now.
