Browser gives Error.... Duke $$$$$$
hi,
I have an applet-servlet comm. I have everything setup in IIS(internet information services).
I have the Tom-cat running on my another computer with all the classes and jar files...
I am trying to run that program in my computer.
I am using IE6.
I see the applet loaded on the browser but when i do some search in my program i get this error in my Java Console...
ALso i ran that same program from my 3rd computer and it works fine...
I checked all the internet properties and everything seems to be same...
Any help will be greatly appreciated....

IIS is irrelevant, that's for using Microsoft's server facilities, not tomcat.
Try putting the URL that your applet is trying to connect to into the brower address window directly. That should give you more details.
Likely the URL is wrong or your tomcat is misconfigured. The two relevant configuration files are server.xml (in tomcat/conf) and WEB-INF/web.xml in your webapp directory.

ColdFusion Administrator v.9 does not open in browser, gives error 500
I am hoping someone can help me, I have been working on and off on this problem for over a year with no luck.
In February 2013 I patched ColdFusion 9 with the hotfix APSB13-03, both on my production and development servers. Everything went perfect on the development server but production had some issues, I can't recall anymore exactly what happened but I was able to get it to the point that everything worked; meaning that all our cf webpages are served up correctly both inside and outside our organization. The only standing problem is that the ColdFusion Administrator will not load. Going to http://localhost/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm returns
According to my application.log here are a few sample error messages. They are always the same except for the jrpp #.

This is identical to that line in my development server, where the Administrator works just fine.
I have gone over so many files line by line and they are seemingly identical between servers. I have checked IIS (v. 6) and both entries for CFIDE are identical. I am fairly clueless when it comes to JRE stuff so maybe my problem is there but I don't know where to look.
A bonus complication on the production server is that it runs a very clunky, old, un-updated CMS for the non-ColdFusion sites. We are trying to move away from this but are stuck with it for a while more. I am not allowed to touch anything that could mess with the CMS.
I am very tired of trying to debug problems without the Administrator. If anyone has any suggestions for me I would be very grateful.

If you're getting 500 error which means the hotfix was not applied properly and you missed something. Only option which I think is to roll back the update and you can copy all the backup folders and the re-apply the hotfix. If you search forums you will lot of users had same issue and that is because they missed something while applying the hotfix.

I have three email ids with hotmail.com. I am not able to sign in to my email which I opened last, a few days back. Until yesterday I could log in and see the inbox etc of the said id. But now when I try to sign in, it gives error message

Firefox 8.0 gives error message "problem loading page" when loading MSN homepage. This occurs every time.
The error is: "Firefox can't find the server at www.%3ciframe%20marginheight=%220%22%20marginwidth=%220%22%20name=%22wxbuttonframe%22%20id=%22wxbuttonframe%22%20height=%22283%22%20src=%22http.com."
Is there a solution?I get an e-mail with go-comics and the ones I want to post links to I'll open in the browser as I read them in the e-mail so I regularly have a dozen tabs open (all the same site) by the time I'm through the e-mail. Every third or fourth page will hang up on something (connecting to or waiting for) sometimes not loading a single image, sometimes loading half the page, sometimes loading everything but the comic (because, hey, why put that as the first thing to load when you've got all these ads and crap to throw at your paying customers?).
At some point a couple of months ago I got some malware associated with trovisearch (I do not know how that got past security and java blocker but it did, probably some hidden crap in something from CNET) that somehow spoofed a page for Housecall and added five or six pieces of malware and adware. I cleaned for two days after and still can't find anything left on the computer even though I've been running scans constantly to try to make Firefox work right. I downloaded and ran a scan using Kaspersky during that time and then uninstalled it. That very well may be the cause of the post-refresh SSL issue.
I have Spybot and Malwarebytes scan logs from the time of the infection if that would help in any way. It doesn't look like there's a way to attach .xml files in this forum, though.
I can also run hijack this and copy and paste if that would help.
I'm currently running Windows Defender and rely on that and Noscript and adblocker plus to keep me isolated from most attacks (I don't have those add-ons re-installed yet). I also run Peerblock because they add malicious sites and known hacking sources (like Chinanet) to what they block as well as all the fake p2p stuff that's constantly pinging the computer. If I'm treading around in perilous waters I run Sandboxie.
Chrome is working as normal but Firefox feels like dial-up or worse right now and without adblocker I might as well be using IE. -

I downloaded 7.4.3 version of iTunes and it doesn't open at all. Gives error message. "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close."
I have previous version of iTunes in my spare HD, in the same computer, and it works perfectly fine.
I have unistalled and re-installed again and again many times including with the help of Apple Support help in the phone and came up with no clues of what's going on.
How can I get a previous version of iTunes to download to my PC? I have looking for a place on Apple's website where I could probably have my issue resolved, but I found nothing.

i have installed oracle 9i AS (EE)on NT,
Now i want to display reports in pdf/HTML on web broswer. For that i am trying to run report tester page given through broswer it is showing one page having Button(run report), when i click on that, it gives error unable to connected to database, and request rejected by report server. WHY ???
i want to display reports through JSP How it can be done? Does anybody knows it?

03. connect string must be tested and give the same inplace of test

When click on report builder gives error like 'Application validation did not succeed. Unable to continue.
and when I try to see details the error summary like following:

this is urgent.

According to your description, you recently updated SQL Server 2008 R2 to SP3, Report Builder doesn’t work since then the error occurs: "Application validation did not succeed. Unable to continue".
This is an known issue in SSRS 2008 R2 SP3 that Microsoft has published an article addressing this issue. It is not planning to release a fix for this issue. But we could implement one of the following workarounds:
Install and run Report Builder 3.0 of SQL Server 2008 R2 RTM.
Install and run Report Builder of SQL Server 2014.
Uninstall Service Pack 3 then uninstall Service Pack 2 and then reinstall Service Pack 3.

Ouch, if it is indeed damaged, then sadly you need to restore the whole danged huge OS!
Didn't used to be this way before Lion/10.7.
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS. -

According to your description, you get the "Object reference not set to instance of object" error when adding columns in Tabular. Right?
Generally, it throws this error when the internal code is accessing the property of an empty object. As you mentioned it happens when you make changes on a table, mostly it means that table is already a empty object. Please re-process your tabular to see
if this table is still existing.
