Browser is non functional after receiving phone call while streaming audio

If I browse to a site that streams audio and play that audio, when a call comes in I am able to answer the call and hang up but when I go back to the browser it appears that the Quicktime window that plays the audio is in the background behind some kind of black modal window except for a thin space at the top of the screen. About the same size as the window for an active call if you do other things with your phone while in a call. I can still hit the Done button on the top left hand corner but that is the end of it. I can't use the browser anymore until I reboot the phone(which I find myself doing quite frequently since the iOS4 update...it reminds me of my Windows Mobile 5 phone it replaced).

Receiving phone call will in full screen mode

There's an annoying problem with the new continuity function for receiving phone call on Yosemite.
Let's see i'm watching a video in full screen mode, then i receive a phone call, the video Hide itself (Mission Control) but did not pause.
So if i answer the call, i still have the sound from the video, and i have to go in Mission Control (yes i'm using shortcut) to show the application to pause it.
First i would like the video to pause if i answer the call, and if not it disappear without hiding my video.
I would like to have the same notification has the Messages, when i receive and SMS or iMessage, there's a small notification rectangle that appear over the video and disappear after few second.
Both Message and FaceTime have the same settings in the Notification System Preference.
I've tried everything that i know, made some research on the internet with no luck.
I've tried that on 3 different macs (Mac Pro 2008 with upgraded Bluetooth card, MacBook pro Retina and Mac Mini) using iTunes, Quicktime, VLC and Safari for viewing full screen video.

Hello Geoffers and welcome to the forums;
After each of these steps, try to make a call:
1. Try turning Airplane mode on and off.
2. Try opening the phone app, open the menu from the top left-hand corner and tap Preferences. From there, scroll down and tap on Update Network Settings, then Update PRL. If your device does not have one of them, that's okay.
3. Next, try restarting your phone by holding down the power button and moving the ringer mute switch back and forth 3 times, then let go of the power button. The screen will blank out and the device will restart.
After that, give Bell a call, there may be something going on with your account that they could assist with.

The same thing is happening with my wife's iPhone 4 and we can't figure it out. When placing a call, the screen freezes and she needs to restart the entire phone.
She upgraded to 5.01 this morning over the air while it was plugged in. Immediately afterwards, this problem started happening. We've tried restarting the phone several times and plugged in to iTunes but there's nothing she can do do to fix it.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

IF it is already off then double check the settings in do not disturb.

IPhone 3G OS 3.0 (not able to start / receive phone calls)

Since I've updated to iPhone OS 3.0 I can't make phone calls via the "normal" cellular network. When my iPhone is on the 3G network everything works fine.
When my iPhone is on the "normal" cellular network with full signal and I try to make a phone call I get the "call failed" message after 10 to 20 seconds.
When the iPhone shows it's connected to my provider via the "normal" cellular network and people try to call me they reach the voice mail
Sometimes I can make a phone call via the "normal" cellular network and then after a couple of minutes the connection got lost and I get the "call failed" message.
Sometimes I can make a phone call via the "normal" cellular network and then after a couple of minutes I can hear the other side of the connection but they can't hear me anymore.

I tried to restore the phone now for a couple of times without restoring the backup but nothing seems the solve this issue. I tried with different SIM cards (iPhone is sim-lock free, Belgium iPhone) but all with the same issues. At this time I don't use the iPhone anymore and switched back to my old phone "Sony Ericsson K750i" because otherwise I want be able to receive phone calls when I'm in a area where there isn't any 3G network available.
Apple please fix this issue, I've got my iPhone for the "Phone" part, not the "i" part.

I have exactly the same problem with my Q-Three and 3GS 3.0. I haven't found a solution. Motorola bluetooth works fine. Previously used the Q-Three with a Samsung T919 without issue. Samsung S5 Issue (Can't Receive Phone Calls)

Hi everyone! I'm a bit new here but I just recently been having issues with my phone. After the recent update (the one that changed something from OC4 to OF2), my phone cant accept phone calls nor have the ability to make a phone call. My phone can still text (send and recieve) and connect to the internet (wifi & data). Since it was centered on calling issues, I wanted to check my call settings (specifically, I went to: Applications->Call->More Settings) but a popup appeared and displayed the following text: "Network or SIM card error". So far, I have tried a phone reset, checking my SIM card to ensure it's properly seated, and turning my phone off and on and to no avail. I don't know what else to do at this point. A friend of mine recommended me to visit a AT&T DSC but I wanted to consult here first and see if there's anything else I can do. Any help would be awesome. I do not think is a Samsung Issue, but an AT&T issue. I have an iphone 6 plus and I am having the smae problem. I cannot receive phone call suddently, but is lasting for over a day now. They are not offering any solution. They told me they had received a lot of tickets with the same issue all over different States, but no news of a solution. It seems the company is becoming way too big, maybe they cannot handle the volume. I do not know what it is, but it is anoying and I do not like it. I know it is not my iphone.

I just returned from traveling; during my trip, the phone started searching for a network, which it has never done repeatedly, like it is now. Since yesterday I have not been able to receive or make calls! Very frustrating, esp. since I was traveling into a volatile weather situation. At any rate, internet, text messaging and email are working fine. HELP!

A soft reset may resolve the issues outlined on your post. To perform a soft reset on your phone please follow the instructions below:
Remove battery with phone ON. Replace battery after 10 seconds. Power phone ON. Allow phone to complete the applications registration.

I have a data connection but I can't make or receive phone calls or texts

I have a 3G data connection on my iPhone 5 at home, but I can't make or receive phone calls or messages.. I can surf the Internet though. I talked to a sprint representative and we went over everything and couldn't figure it out. Can some one plz help with this issue???

Phone and messages is a carrier issue. Sprint needs to check your account to make sure it is set up correctly. If everything looks good on their end, then do a reset on the phone, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, try it.

The iphone is too small for me to use for the internet (maybe it's my age)-- especially for Facebook--where I am a Page Administrator, but the mini ipad would be just right for both phone and internet. I'll bet they make a new ipad able to make and receive phone calls right after I buy the current one.

Hang after received a call- N97(very often)

im really so sososososso frustrated with this piece of junk... wasted so much money and got this phone that cant even perform the primitive fucntion tat a phone should have...
u received a call, so u take it out from ur pocket, the autorotate screen change form horizon to vertical or vice versa, u pick up the call, screen goes blank, u still can talk to people the other side, u hang up, then u restart restart restart restart restart restart restart restart restart restart restart restart restart restart just to get this "mobile computer" boot up again...

You have Zoom on... double tap with three fingers to turn it off. Go into Settings > General > Accessibility to disable it.

But it doesn't work. I tried pram and smc reset, too.
I tried reinstall Yosemite. But it doesn't work.
Is it hardware's problem? Do I send my mac to AS center?

I tried Privacy/Security, firewall setting. Not working.
iOS 8.1 doesn't helpful.
In my conclusion, it is something like bug etc. or my iMac's hardware problem.
My MBP 2010 works so great! It wasn't difficult. After Yosemite, Just it works. (No hand off)
