Internet Browser missing

I bought phone from friend.... Its missing the internet browser app I think... I did a wipe out and everything there is no configuration for it is the problem i think. also missing the help app and the brickbreaker game and stuff.... do i need to get ahold of att and have them send the service books? will they? and will it cost?

Canvas, Timeline and Browser missing.

My canvas timeline and browser are all missing.
In window their greyed out too.
I cant even import any files?..
What do i need to do?.

Bridge Browser Missing

The Bridge application works well but the Bridge Browser Icon is missing. All the rest of the icons are there and work fine but I have no Bridge Browser Icon. Is it different from the regualr browser icon on the playbook? Do I need to activate something on the phone to get the browser to carry over to the playbook?

I don't think that's the issue. From what I've seen, there is no longer an icon for Bridge Browser but I noticed Bridge Browser now appears to be automatic. Turn off WiFi and tethering on your Playbook and try loading a page. It should think for a second and then load running from your BlackBerry connection through the Bridge, but it won't tell you it's doing it. I tried it this morning because I was thinking the same, that I had lost Bridge Browser but sure enough it worked.

CS5 Media browser - missing clips

Hello all,
Tried to use media browser to import clips and it will only see SOME of them.
I transferred the entire AVCHD native root folder from each of my 3 cameras and placed them on my PC's media drive in folders labeled camera 1, 2 and 3 respectively.
Camera 1 media browser will only see files 99-154
Camera 2 it sees nothing
Camera 3 it sees all of them
This is when viewing as "AVCHD" in the media browser window. If I select "View as: File Directory" it sees every file in each of the cameras folders. If I navigate through the folder structure in Windows Explorer all the clips/files are present.
My cameras had all been cleared of any other footage prior to the shoot, contained only footage was from the day of this particular shoot. Oh, and just to help with trouble shooting....FCP's log and transfer window sees everything just fine, so I am fairly certain that it is not file/folder corruption
My own trouble shooting:
Connecting camera 1 to the PC directly via USB and CS5 media browser when Viewing as: AVCHD, sees files 99-154
Connected to the Mac, CS5 media browser when Viewing as: AVCHD sees files 99-154
Connected to the SAME Mac opened FCP's Log and Transfer window and it sees everything. Files 1-154 with thumbnails.
AM I MISSING SOMETHING?!? Please help......thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this.

Well I am just gonna keep posting my research on this matter here on this forum in hopes that SOMEBODY......ANYBODY....can help me to find out the reason for this issue.
I filmed a wedding Saturday with 4 Panny HDC-HS700 AVCHD cams. Shot b-roll all morning, shot the ceremony, then the reception.
my camera 2 had 96 files on it. all the files were short clips except for the ceremony which was about 27 min. long. NONE of the files on this camera exceeded the 4gb file size limit of the camera's harddrive. So there were no spanned files.
PPRO would not see ANY of these clips in the media browser when in "View as: AVCHD" but would see all of them in "View as: file directory"
Now for the fun part.
I turned my camera on made 6 more short clips to put the total to 102 and then recorded for an hour and ten mins. straight. creating a spanned avchd file in with all the other 102 clips.
Plugged the camera into the PC directly, and found that PPRO now sees clips 97-103 in "View as: AVCHD" in the media browser....but the first 96 are not there still?!?!?!?!?!?
I have another instance where I filmed a pretty large job in Atlanta a few months back, so I pulled that footage in........it would again see all the files in "View as: file directory" but this time in "View as: AVCHD" it would see files 1-20 then skip to files 121-259
I will add again that Final Cut Pro 7's Log and Transfer window has seen ALL of the above mentioned clips spanned and unspanned without issue whatsoever.
PLEASE HELP.....starting to lose my mind here.
I HOPE that I am doing something wrong....so that the fix will be easy.

Why does my project and imported media in browser missing frames?

I have been using Final Cut Pro for about 6 months now and loved everything about it! However, since I have updated my software system and app itself I have been experiencing "missing frames" during playback and in the clip itself in my event browser. I have tried downloading Preference Manager to resolve the problem and it still doesnt help. What is the problem? Why does this happen? and what can I do? Is it an import setting? or maybe a recording setting on my camera.
Please a solution would be greatly appreciated as I have deadlines to make and I can't fluently edit my projects.
Additional info: when I export a file that misses frames during playback it is smooth and nothing seems wrong.

Some things to check:
Your media drive should have 15-20% free space. Does it after your clean up?
What kind of connection…Thunderbolt and USB3?
Is quality set to Better Performance?
If the answers to all of the above are yes, and you're still having problems, download and run one of the speed tests from ALA or Blackmagic.
Create proxy media and edit with Proxy, (Don't forget to change the setting back to Original/Optimized before you export.)

RichTech's Atomic Web Browser Missing From The App Store

Can anyone please check and see if they are able to locate and download this alternative browser on their iPad? I'm with a friend and we were trying to load apps on their new iPad and if you click on an outside link or try to search for it you get no results. It's like it's missing from the App store entirely.

Looks like Atomic Web browser was pulled from the App Store due to the use of private APIs in violation of Apple's policy:

ITunes Browser Missing!

I recently did the last Security update I think it was, and around the same time my iTunes browser - the main page with playlists, songs, music store and cover art - disappeared and does not display. What remains is the top tool bar, and it can be made to display the graphic equalizer, Cover Flow or the Visualizer. It looks like the Hide Browser/Show Browser option in the View menu should fix it but it doesn't do anything, and the Play button is greyed out in the Controls menu too so technically it is not workable, until I get the Cover Flow screen in the Full Screen version, and then it starts playing! It's not right, but I don't know what's wrong...?
I have tried restarting obviously, reinstalling iTunes in various versions and even the operating system from the Install disc and nothing seems to bring it back.
It looks like I may have just accidentally pressed some weird setting but I really don't know. Can anyone please help?

Event Browser: missing in and out points

Saw this question before, but I do not think the corect answer was given.
I select a file in the event browser. Choose an in and out point and add it to my project.
I then select this clip in my project and hit Shift+F. The result is the Event Browser (in Clips List view) showed the entire clip from which my selection was taken, but does not show the in and out points of my selected clip.
The answer I saw posted said the Event Browser needs to be in Filmstrip View to see the selected range. While this may be true, I am not sure that is the whole story.
I have been using the video training by Ripple Training and their video clearly shows the in and out point (displayed by a gray box) with list view. This is how I dscoverd this issue. I noticed that I could not do what the training video was showing me.

LW/CVI 2009 user interface browser missing

Just getting back into LabWindows/CVI after many years. Using 2009 version.
Going through the tutorial located http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/373552g.pdf
When I double-click on the.uir file, the panel opens up, but I do not get the User Interface Browser and the Attribute Browser has replaced the Library Browser.
Apparently, this is the default behavior for 2009 contrary to the figures in the tutorial.
How can I get the User Interface Browser to appear and put the Attribute Browser to the right hand side?

The User Interface Browser and Attribute Browser being on the right hand side are both new addtions for LabWindows/CVI 2010. The behavior you're seeing in 2009 is expected and can't be changed.

Why does a fine JPG image turn grainy when uploaded online? Is my browser missing something?

My "picture-perfect" JPG images become grainy or coarse when I upload them to imageshack.us, yahoo, etc.

If Firefox also saves the images in low quality then you may have an ISP that sends the images compressed in lower quality to speed up the page loading.
If you want to see the original image quality all the time then you need to contact your ISP and ask what to do to opt-out of that service or see if there is a FAQ about it on the web page of your ISP.

Aperture 3 Media Browser Missing

I know there are other topics discussing this, but none of them have yielded a fix for me. Is there any news on an official fix for this problem? At the moment I cannot access any of my Aperture pics in iLife or mail etc....

Chrome browser missing tabs after Lollipop upgrade

Chrome now hides the option to close a tab or jump to another one. Any fix?

Chrome Tabs were moved after Lollipop to the Recent Apps screen (the 2 rectangulars soft button on the right). They will persist even if you restart your phone. You just switched off this feature and can get it back by turning tabs merge on again.

Keynote 6.0 no photos in media browser

Recently upgraded everything to current. Keynote 6 media browser missing all photos from Aperture or iPhoto. Music and movies seem to show up fine.
I have tried deleting com.Apple.iPhoto.plist to no avail.
Any ideas?

The media browser in Pages '09 is now inoperable after the 10.10.3 update with Photos. There is an iLifeMediaBrowser plugin that Pages 09 used, that was stepped on by the Photos update, and now Pages '09 fails to find a compatible version of the preceding plugin, and fails to show any media content.
Although the Photos application automatically transferred your iPhoto/Aperture libaries, it does not mean that these applications were removed, or cannot be run alongside Pages '09. I just launched iPhoto, and dragged/dropped a photo onto Pages '09 without issue. Copy/paste is supported too. Pages '09 also supports drag/drop of images from the Finder, or from its Insert > Choose… menu item.

Cisco web voicemail doesn't work w/ Chromium -- quicktime error

My company uses web voicemail so I can listen from my phone or browser interface. For some reason, it's not picking up what it needs with Chromium. The web page loads (us-voicemail-01.company-domain.com/inbox), and I get the following errors when I click the play button:
you must have quicktime installed to play voicemails in this browser
missing localized string: quicktime.error.notininstalled
quicktime.error.notininstalled
error occurred while playing back
This is chromium 21.0.1180.89-1.
I also installed chromium-pepper-flash-stable 11.3.31.232-1 with no change in behavior.
Google-chrome doesn't work either. I also get the same error if I install openssl098, which comes up in a pacman message as being needed to use Google's build in flash support.
Firefox does work... and I'm trying to find out why. Obviously I don't have quicktime installed on my machine anywhere, so it can't actually be a quicktime issue since Firefox doesn't have it either.
Any suggestions? I tend to use Chromium, and while opening Firefox to check messages isn't a huge deal, it's obviously not preferred.

I'm extremely sorry to confirm that I do know the story behind 'gecko-mediaplayer' and that it works quite well with Google Chrome (of course, it is listed among its plugins)...

Were I you, I'd decide whether to use libflashplayer.so or libpepflashplayer.so. I disabled the first one in Google Chrome, so I guess you may do so as well.
As for the QuickTime based voice mail, I believe that it may work if only the above mentioned plugin works. If you have Google Chrome v. 21.0.1180.89, go and check if any trailer @ iTunes is playable for you (I've just checked again and for me it is, both audio and video, just as it was yesterday).
