Browser Not Fully Supporting App

Hello,
I tried to use an app for the nhs eportfolio which I use for work, but it comes up showing my browser doesn't fully support it so it doesn't work very well.
Is there any update i can use to allow it to run better?
Thanks,
A

Where did you get this app?
Have you asked the developer if they intend to update the app?

  • The flexfield in table-in-table is not fully supported yet

    Hi OAF Guys,
while creating requisition, when I select the approver and click on the Next button, the following error is coming.
the flexfield in table-in-table is not fully supported yet
any patch i have to apply for resolving this issue?
I am working on 11.5.10.2 instance
    Thanks & Regards
    Palakondaiah.u

Probably there is a flexfield component inside a table-in-table and raised this error. You can check the page hierarchy by clicking the "about this page" link.
The error message is a developer mode error, usually it is for developer only. You can turn it off by setingt profile FND: Developer Mode / FND_DEVELOPER_MODE to "No".

  • Grrrr....browser that fully supports flash/java?????

when will the default browser FULLY support java and flash? many sites i've come across wont work and say "download java" or flash? shipping a product without a fully functional browser is unacceptable! Also its highly annoying when mobile sites keep loading! this is a laptop replacement....why would they ship it with a stupid mobile browser??? ebay absolutely wont work properly, many gaming sites like pogo just wont work because of poor java/flash support. also on a side note, editing text is attrocious! why no **bleep** arrow keys???? another note, firefox and opera are at best in alpha stage and are much, much worse! im very disappointed in toshiba for making their customers guinea pigs...no properly working browser? SOD problems? Force Closes on that stupid ltdolservice thingy? What is up with you guys....REALLY?

Don't like it the browser on mobile? Why not change the settings to desktop? Want a keyboard with arrows? Why not download one from the market? Flash not showing up? Have you bothered to check for the Flash update?

  • IPod Hi-Fi not fully supporting new iPod classic yet ?

i got my new classic as a replacement for an old gen3 iPod that was never fully supported by my iPod Hi-Fi, because it was already quite old, when the Hi-Fi was released.
now that i have the classic, i was expecting that to be fully supported, meaning the additional menu option 'speaker' should appear, when i dock it into the Hi-Fi, but it doesn't !
instead the light on the Hi-Fi keeps blinking green for a while. it has never done that before with my old iPod. so i checked the manual, but couldn't find an explaination that made any sense ?!
am i expecting too much, or am i doing something wrong ?
otherwise i hope this is something that will be fixed with the first iPod-software-update for the new classics soon ?

First, unplug your HiFi from power for about 5 minutes and then plug it back in and try again. If that doesn't work:
Put the iPod back in the HiFi dock and Reset the iPod (hold down the menu and center buttons for 6 seconds) and see if it fixes your problem.
If it doesn't, try connecting something to the Aux connector on the HiFi and see if you can hear it. If you can, then the dock connector may be damaged on the HiFi and you need to take/send it in for service.

  • Browser not working when apps are in use.

Although my browser works normally if I use any app which requires an internet connection and try to use the browser simultaneously the browser says connection not available and I'm unable to connect. Any ideas what's wrong?

    That's weird
Are you using SmartConnect or Psiloc Connect?
Also, can you check in the browser settings if you have set-up a default connection? (a destination group, or a single access point, or "always ask", or nothing?)
Maybe you could also check the connection settings for one of the other applications from which you can open the browser (just to make sure that the settings of the application do not conflict with the settings of the browser..)

  • Premiere Elements 9 does not fully support AVCHD

Don't believe the reviews such as the one on http://video-editing-software-review.toptenreviews.com/ which state that Adobe Premiere Elements 9 supports AVCHD export to a disk. It DOES NOT!
I happily purchased the product last week based on this review, and what I had thought was a solid brand name solution for editing AVCHD video and rendering it on DVDs. Lo and behold this product only IMPORTS AVCHD - the most popular HD format for consumer video cameras. My export choice is to either settle for low resolution on a DVD or purchase a Blu Ray burner and insanely expensive, Blu Ray disks that are too large for most of my needs if I want any type of HD output.
Why would Adobe produce such a brain dead product so long after AVCHD as been on the market? As a result of my frustration, two days ago I purchased Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 for less money and it does a fabulous job editing and rendering AVCHD on a DVD. Furthermore it SCREAMS compared to the Adobe product.
I would highly recommend that anyone who has an AVCHD HD video camera not purchase this product and look at the Corel software instead.
    Am I missing something here?

Thanks everyone for the posts. Although I didn't really ask a question expecting an answer, with all the back and forth reaponses the correct answer is really quite clear. If you want to easily produce HQ quality edited videos on anything other than expensive Blu-Ray disks with an expensive burner then buy a different product. Premiere Elements 9 doesn't do it.
I would HIGHLY recommend Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 for those of you who contributed to the responses to my post. it works great, and with one click you can burn a beautiful high definition edited movie on INEXPENSIVE DVDs. They will play on virtually any of the newer Blu-Ray players, since most support AVCHD, and you don't need tp purchase a Blu Ray burner either.
Hopefully Premiere Elements 10 will get it right. In the mean time does anyone want to but version 9 REALLY cheap? It's worth about as much to me as the salvage value of the plastic that went into the install disc.....

  • Browser not fully loading

Hello, I have a blackberry Torch 9800 . My issue is that i can not look at the internet on my phone easily. For some reason it only shows part of the page but then it has white boxes all the way down the page blocking in formation/pictures/etc. I have cleared all temp files, checked for updated software and even verified all settings against my husbands. (He has same make and model, his is not doing this) Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
    Solved!

Hi and Welcome to the Community!!
I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
    1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
    2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
    3) Batt Pull Reboot
With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:
KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe Mode
It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.
Otherwise, you may need to consider a complete device WIPE, an OS reload, or even a BBSAK WIPE/Reload.
    Good luck!

  • Lightroom 3.2 not fully supports the LX5 Raw format ?

I can use the normal Panasonic Lumix Raw files with Lightroom 3.2 just fine.
As soon as I use the LX5 intelligent Zoom feature is LR3.2 (and Camera Raw from CS5) not able to use these files anymore.
Anybody else found this or has a solution - other than not using this feature.

As I understand it the i zoom feature is a processing tool, it either makes a standard image look like a higher resolution one by processing the contour areas, texture areas and smooth areas individually, or it digitally boosts the zoom magnification from 24x to 32x etc. Processing tools may be written into meta data and read by some RAW processors that may emulate this, but on the whole LR ignores them. The exception being the lens correction data written into RAW data by micro fourthirds cameras, so perhaps, Adobe will include this as it does seem they are worked with by micro fourthirds people, (unlike CanoniKon, who seem to work against them!) But for the time being I assume LR would have to ignore it any way as there doesn't exist in LR 3 a tool that does exactly what i zoom and i resolution does on micro fourthirds cameras...
Being a big fan of micro fourthirds machines myself, what's the new LX5 like...it has always been one of the most imaginative of all compacts throughout its life time, I love the LX2 and the 16:9 sensor, but 4:3's is  the future for both still and hand-held video photography. Panasonic do some interesting processing stuff and having no software of their own to sell do seem to work closly with Adobe. The new camera profiling tool in LR 3 seems to owe a lot to the processing that goes on inside micro fourthirds cameras to deal with the inherent weaknesses of lenses on small sensors. So I can see the i zoom, i resolution interoperation techniques making there way into LR as well..

  • Snow Leopard not fully supporting DVD Studio Pro

I've come to realize that the many problems talked about on these support forums lies in the Snow Leopard OS.
I had Leopard on my laptop and did the upgrade to Snow Leopard. No problems.
On my desk top, I had tiger then upgraded to Snow Leopard. No problems.
But recently, I did a fresh install of Snow Leopard on my desk top, and the problems with DVD Studio Pro began happening.
Then I did a Fresh install of Snow Leopard on my laptop, and the same problems began to arise.
Just my observations of the situation.
I am going to reinstall my original Laptop OS and go from there.
    This is very frustrating.

    I agree.
Whenever I run the Simulator and press the info button to look at the GPRMS it brings up a new window and swiftly becomes unresponsive. I've trashed prefs but I reckon it's got to be Snow Leopard.
Won't be holding my breath for an update any time soon...

    Is something wrong. Need help.

  • Does Firefox fully support Windows 8.1 64-bit?

It appears from the web that the current Firefox browser does not fully support Windows 8.1 64-bit. Is an updated version planned that will fully support Windows 8.1 64-bit, and if so when is the expected release?

the current version is firefox 26 - 27 is going to be released this week. if you download either of those, you'll just get the normal firefox browser on desktop as you're used to. firefox 28 which is also going to be released as beta this week will include a (minimalist) touch-optimized version of firefox for the windows metro ui...

  • Why Apple does not offer support for linux?

We all know the history of Apple. It clearly shows a trend to be open source, excepting for the licenses they share with Microsoft. In my personal case, I love open source because it has solved several of my problems. Just to share this with everyone, I am the network manager of a educational institution and I used to have my servers running on windows platform. Since we used to buy it all from Microsoft, they would give us free software for or labs, software like Visual Studio. They even assigned us engineers to plan everything for our servers, free of cost. Guess what? It was a disaster. We had our database destroyed by an external attack. We were “lucky” to have Microsoft in our servers and in our firewalls.
We had to take action, so I decided to switch to Debian, and to use IPCOP (a great dedicated firewall, if there is anyone interested, the link is: http://ipcop.org/ , please note, I am NOT affiliated with them, and I will receive no compensation or benefit if you chose to access it or not ). Both open source. The result, no external attack has been able to pass trough. After that, we switched most* of our e-learning platforms to open source, and guess what? We are saving over 60,000 yearly just in software. So for those who are looking for a good way to get good security without loosing an eye, try open source.
Now back to the point, I do not fully support any operative system. They all have their good features, or at least they should. The ones I know, are because I use them. My home network is composed by computers running in five different versions of Linux, two running in Mac OS X Tiger, and some others running in XP pro. My main computer is running in Ubuntu, and is really sad to see that there is no software from apple available for Linux. That is honestly the worst part of Linux, having no iTunes or QuickTime available. No way to see multimedia in the web, etc. A suggestion for apple would be, give support for Linux, there are a lot of us wanting the same.

Apple makes software and hardware. Therefore they
offer a total solution. Now they even can have
windows xp running on their hardware. Making a
version of mac os to run on linix isn't practically.
Under a mac is unix and you can run unix software
with the mac so you could do ever thing you are
    doing with a mac.
I did not know Linux was one type of computer, like Mac...
Next topic, If I was willing to pay for it, this thread would not exist, because I can actually use a commercial software to adapt the windows web plug ins to Linux... If I was in charge of Apple, I would propose to develop free software support of my products, - plug ins and so - to other operative systems... But of course, even if I did, it would not be up to me. It would have to pass trough several layers of bureaucracy, and it would take a lot of time to be approved or rejected.
Anyway, the main issue is, the three most important OS's are Windows, Linux, and Mac. And that can't be denied. Now you can even run Windows in a Mac PC, and vice versa... besides being fancy, what else could I do with a Mac PC using Windows, when I can build a machine able to run Windows for less than 300 bucks? OK if you want to try a Mac in a i386 or a x86... but I still rather to be the proud owner of a PowerMac G5 than the owner of a Pentium 4 / AMD using Mac OS.
Also, I thought it would be fun to see the reactions and opinions of other people with this topic, hence, I was not expecting anyone from Mac to read it, and really do something about it, because I know they won't.

  • IE 11 not launching in app mode

IE 11 will not launch in app mode, it only will launch in desktop mode. I have read the other posts and my issue is different. There are no other browsers on my machine than IE 11. In the control panel, in internet options, I set internet explorer
to the default setting for all programs. I then unpin IE from the metro start and repin it to the start. Same damn result happens every single time, it will launch in desktop mode. I've rebooted, deleted cache temp files, cleaned registry...nothing changes
    the result.
Here is the kicker, two days ago it worked for 5 minutes! There are no other software on this machine, it is a brand new Lenovo Yoga 11s. What is up with this browser not running in app mode?

    Hi,
Please take a look at this settings:
Click the tools button in IE 11(IE 11 on the desktop), choose
Internet options, navigate to programs tab, on the
opening Internet explorer, choose how you open links:
Make sure we have always in Internet explorer or Let Internet Explorer descide selected.
For more information regarding the options, please check the part Can I make Internet Explorer for the desktop my default browsing experience? in the link below:

    Hope this may help
