Browser problems cant load page

There is a very strange problem with Safari (beta 4) and also with Firefox (3.0.10).
For some weeks Safari has suddenly stopped working after about 1 hour. It says "page loading", but nothing happens. Sometimes it says something like "could not establish a secure connection". When I switch to Firefox, there is the same problem. All other network based apps, like mail, twitter, iTunes are working fine. Even the feeds in Safari (feed://feeds.feedburner.com/... ) are working. The only way I get Safari working again is switching to another user and go back to my account. Then everything is fine for approx 1 hour.
The problem appears only with this specific user. With this user there is another strange problem, both on Safari anf Firefox. Some pages (e.g. www.sueddeutsche.de) show javascript code, where usualy the adds should go. Maybe this is part of the problem. Again, it's with Safari and Firefox, but only with this specific user.
Yesterday I updated to 10.5.7 and also to the newest Safari beta, but the problem is still the same.

Hmmm, curiouser and curiouser. As a troubleshooting step, have you tried running FireFox in safe mode (KB article)? Just to see what it does.
That it the problem is somewhat far-reaching might point to a network settings issue specific to your user account. Have you tried setting up a new network location in the Network preference pane?

BC IN-Browser Editor not loading pages for editing.

Hi,
From Bc admin I click the edit button to open in browser editing.
The editor opens and the index page loads and is editable.
When I click the link to the about page (example) or any other page the page loads fine but none of the editable regions are visible.
If I look in my browser address bar I see that although I am viewing the about page the address is still showing the index page. If I manually update this to about.html the browser then navigates to the about page and I am able to use the in browser editing options.
I have another site in BC whiere the in browser editing works fine, each page is editable from clicking the menu link. So I feel this is an issue parculiar to this site but I cant see the difference between the two sites that could be causing the one to have this issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. I'm not using muse on the sites I mentioned though I have used it on another site and am not experiencing any issues with the In-Browser editing.
The issue is as mentioned in the thread you pointed me to, the browser address remains the same from page to page but if I update it manually I can then edit it.
I had read the thread but sadly there is no solution offered in it.

Strange problem with loading pages.

With little warning, my Firefox began to act strangely. When I would attempt to load or refresh a page, it would not respond. The tab would show the loading animation, but it would be frozen. Confused, I began to move my mouse to try and figure out why it had frozen when it began to load; the loading coincided with the movement of my mouse! I am not sure why this is happening, any help would be appreciated.

That's not the issue, like I said, all other browsers work fine. I even downloaded Opera just to check and it works fine too.
As a developer, I am an admin on my computer, and have a lot of "unauthorized" third party software installed that accesses the internet. Safari is the only one having a problem. The weird thing is that for some reason - it doesn't show problems opening apple.com. Only other web sites are so amazingly slow.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.

*Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images
*Select the first image link and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.
*If an image in the list is grayed and "Block Images from..." has a check-mark then remove this check-mark to unblock images from this domain.
Make sure that you do not block (third-party) images, the permissions.default.image pref on the about:config page should be 1.
Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Note that these settings affect background images.

FF cant load pages properly or dont load them at all

First of all hi to everybody and tnx for your help this is may first post here and i hope you guys can help me. So i was happy Firefox user for few years now and it was perfect but then few weeks ago weird things started happening (if my memory is correct few days after update to 25.0). So pages started to load more slow but nothing terrible in most cases, but some times they wont load at all, then when i enter url in adress bar sometimes it just spins in tab for like half a sec and then nothing like i newer pressed enter after pressing enter like 10 times page will finally load, and there is more sometimes instead of page i will get random text some times it wil be html or html with few page elements and sometimes it is something that looks like a monkey punched a keyboard with his head, when i google form ff stat page most of the times it will just do nothing spin for half sec and nothing, also youtube omg youtube is so broken most thumbnails are missing and ones i see are somehow tared apart like bottom half and top half are not alined (something like when fps is to high in games) and when i try to play videos some times they work the first time but mostly they just show first frame and stop or first few secs and stop or jut show green mess in youtube player and stop also flash player crashes some times and comments dont load at all. And few more things but this is already long so i stop i think you get the idea. I Tried reinstalling FF 4 times with out any plugins it is still the same i also deleted all remaining ff folders that i could find so i think it was clean reinstall i also reinstalled and updated flash to newest version also nothing. Only thing i can think of is that i have Thunderbird also installed ans seance mozila makes both of them that mby they share some files and bug survives reinstalls with Thunderbird is that possible. And everything works fine with chrome and IE and on tablet on same wireless network. Plz help me fix this i love FF and relay dont wanna change it but this is making net unusable for me. Also i have nod32 and zone alarm and they say i am virus free. I can post screenshot of plugins i had installed when it all started happening but i dont know how if it helps just tell me how and i will also i think list of my current plugins is in data that ff collected but i had more before reinstalls.

I get problem loading page (error 404) it says the page cannot be found when i try to access the game Mobsters through my mysapce account and i cannot access it no longer through firefox and i want to find out why i cant, can you guys please help?

I cant open google with fire fox? it says problem loading page also cant load other pages opnly pages that I have benn to before as favotits or book marks?

I would backup, restore to factory settings, restore from the backup and then try again. If that fails, restore again but do not use the backup - restore as new. Web Browser 5530XM Not Loading Web Pages

Hope someone can help me on subject problem. My 5530XM suddenly cannot load web pages nor web feeds for some reason. WLAN connection is active and I'm able to browse the web using Opera but the default browser just cant open any web page.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I am having a problem in loading a simple applet in HotJava
browser

ON opening the HTML file in HotJava Browser, the following error comes up :

Well the obvious question is what is utilities.PropertyManager up to at line 23? It appears to be trying to get the system classloader which applets aren't allowed to do.
You should probably be using the ClassLoader from the class in question.

I am getting the "Problem loading page" error when trying to run gmail. I've tried many of the suggetions, but I have a Mac not a PC and cannot figure it out.

I got a new MacBookPro a couple of weeks ago, and am unable to get Firefox to load GMail. I've tried lots of the suggestions on here, but none seem to work. I have to use Firefox in order to have access to class through Blackboard, but I can't get my e-mail. It is becoming frustrating.

You could of course use Safari your default browser as a quick method of accessing gmail until you figure out the Firefox problem. (More than one browser may be used on a Mac or other computer).
Is this the only site you have problems with ? and does Safari work ok ?

Facebook cant load news feed and cant search at the web browser

Facebook in my z10 cant access my messages,my profile and cant load news feed. When i tried to use my Facebook using my web browser it seems it's not loading. I tried to reboot and reset my wifi but still the same. Pls some one help me version 10.2

Browser sometimes not loading images or pages entirely.

Sometimes my browser (chrome/safari) won't load pages correctly. Sometimes it's missing images or the entire website. Maybe a memory problem? Reloading and closing tabs to open a third tab is becoming quite cumbersome.

When I open news or other sites in tabs, I get "Problem loading page" errors on all tabs that I attempted to open.

I just upgraded to Firefox 20.0 as you "suggested" and now whenever I try to open a new site in a new tab, I get the error "Problem loading page". However, if I open them in new windows, they come up just fine. What have you done to a reasonably running browser?

I can't think of any reason for a new window to load well but not a new tab. It could be the second try effect. Firefox sometimes seems to give up on a site instantly, but if you reload, everything is fine. Could you try a reload in the same tab the next time and see whether that works? Not that it's a good workaround, but just to get a better idea of what's happening.
