Browser problems - websites do not load properly

Here is a screen-shot: http://imgur.com/Qkvnr
I am using a mac desktop; version 10.6.8. For the past few months, I have been having browser issues with EVERY SINGLE possible browser out there.
I cannot load simple pages like facebook or hotmail, rather, an "inactive" mobile-looking like page appears (refer to screenshot above). Clicking the links does nothing and I cannot access anything because of it.
I have tried using safari, google-chrome, firefox, etc. and the same issue keeps reaccuring. On another note, I am constantly asked to approve certificates that pop up or it states that certain certificates are expired. What do I do? I have tried deleting all my cookies/caches, and have added new DSN's but nothing works.

hi guys
likewise, i'm having an almost identical issue.  i have os x 10.5.8 and safari 5.0.6 and although i can get into hotmail it looks pretty much like ulia's screen shot.
the date isn't an issue either.

  • Internet Problems: Websites are not loaded

    Hi everyone,
since the Mavericks-Update I got some problems with my Internet-Connection:
    1. Often the websites are not loaded. There comes no error-page or something else, its just a white page and I can see the Browser is loading but nothing happens. After refreshing the page, the page often loads correctly.
    2. Connection to messengers in the browser get lost. I open Facebook or Google  and often the connection to the chatsystem gets lost after a few seconds/minutes.
The problem comes up with any Internet-Conection(WiFi and Ethernet) and on every browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox) in every network.
ping of google.com -> lost no packages! -> Internetconnection is stabile.
Other Notebooks are running without problems in the same network. Who can help?

    Hello,
I think I solved the problem:
    Try this:
    1. SystemProperties-> iCloud-> disable documents
    2. Open Finder -> "Gehe zu" (go to) -> press alt -> Library -> Search Cache -> Take the Cache and drop to Desktop.
    3. Restart your Mac -> During the start press cmd+alt+p+r and hold it down. Now the startsound appears 3 times. After three times you can stop pressing the keys. -> Mac starts -> Problem should be solved.
If you are shure the problem is solved, you can delete the Cache frome the Desktop.

  • Website will not load properly

A couple websites I built are not loading properly. I was told I need to clear my cache. Can someone tell me how to do that?  Thx! :-)

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
    *Press "Command + Shift + R" (MAC)
Try to clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

  • Is anyone else having trouble with their iweb website and the Internet Explorer 10 browser?  Mine is not loading properly

I've tested Google Chrome, Safari and Firefox - everything looks great until I get to IE 10 - after uninstalling and going back to IE9 I'm good to go - but concerned about my client base using IE10 and not being able to visit my website.  Has anyone found a solution?

Why find a solution for a problem that does not exist.
If your webpages display properly in modern browsers, then clearly it's an MSIE problem. As usual.
Identify what does not display properly and then make some adjustments to please all browsers.
And if your client base primarily uses Windows, why not use a PC to create webpages.
Or don't use iWeb and learn to code yourself. Which is always a good idea, with or without iWeb.
There are tons of topics on the internet about MSIE exceptions.
And remember, Windows users have choice too.

  • I have a mac and using firefox as my browser . Yahoo does not load properly. Not having trouble with yahoo using safari.

WHen I try to open yahoo with firefox it loads extra slow and some of the functions are not available.

So I just got back from vacation and uninstalled firefox. Reinstalled it and I still have the same problem. The odd thing is now it doesn't work in Google Chrome either. So I'm sure it is a Mac problem now. Probably has nothing to do with FireFox and everything to do with being dumb enough to buy a 4000 $ paperweight called mac. What a hunk of junk.
    Thanks for your help.
    I loved that book to.

  • Website is not loading properly in firefox

    Hi,
I am making some changes to my website http://www.mixsprouts.com . When I am opening it in IE or Chrome then it is showing me updated UI but when I am opening it Firefox then it is not opening updated UI... it is showing old UI.
Although my other website http://www.menmomhealth.com is working fine in FF. I am making changes to CSS. Do I need to clear some specific cookies etc?

To reload web page(s) and bypass the cache you can use these in Firefox:files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
    *Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)

  • Facebook and other websites not loading properly in Firefox (Solution)

This is for anyone who has had issues loading Facebook, eBay, twitter or any other site which shows plain text pushed to the left hand-side of the screen and fails to load images.
This issue had me stumped for about 3 hours. No matter what I did. No matter what I disabled. The problem remained. I cleared my cache, reset cookies, disabled addons, reset Firefox to default settings and kicked my pc a few times for good measure.
The problem was fairly simple and at my end, this is not a problem with firefox. SSL certification for facebook was being deemed invalid and therefore the site failed to load properly. Now because Firefox doesn't deal with SSL certificate failures, there had to be something else going on in another program. I then realised that Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 was the problem. If a website failed SSL certification for any reason Kaspersky Blocks access to the site which was causing the page to not load properly. You have to disable Kaspersky's SSL certifcation checks to be able to run the websites properly. You need to load your Kaspersky main menu and click Settings once there go to the tab that looks like a cardboard box (Object Detection Settings and Exclusion Rules) then when you can see a list of different options select Network and you should see Monitored Ports and Encrypted Connections Scan, disabled the encrypted connections then reload Firefox and try the webpage that wouldn't load. To know that kaspersky is the problem, you will get a dialogue saying you have to add facebook as an exception since it failed SSL Certification and this was the culprit for me atleast.
I looked at the mozilla support forums and it seemed to me, many people were getting this issue and some issues went completely unresolved and there was no mention about Kaspersky, so I hope this helps.'''bold text'''

Hi Hindhaughlee, <br />Thanks for the post.
This may not be the best place to post such a solution but maybe some users will find it. If it turns out to be a major problem with a simple solution maybe we will manage to document it somewhere.
Are you able to provide more details please:
    * exactly what software and software versions is the problem with ? <br /> You appear to be a Windows 8 user, but presumably the Kaspersky software may be applicable to other Windows versions, which Kaspersky software is this tested with ?
    * What is he exact error message or warning that Kaspersky generates in this situation ?
    * is the problem documented elsewhere, preferably in a public open site, if so maybe you could provide a link
    * can you detail simple but exact detailed Steps To Reproduce that will enable others to test out this problem and solution.
    Cheers

Anyone with this problem finding that the solution works may wish to vote for this thread and solution. Or if someone else can produce links to examples of this or you are able to give precise Steps To Reproduce please add a post of your own.

  • Certain websites sometimes do not load properly?

Randomly some websites have started to not load properly. For example there may just be a white screen with the links and things from the website but they may not be in the right place, right font, etc, as if firefox is stopping the webpage downloading in the middle of it doing so. Another example is the webpage may appear to have finished loading but the text and links will be on top of each other and in the wrong places.
I have tried reinstalling firefox and updating to the latest version but it has made no difference.

  • One website will not load on any browser, will work on mobile phone

One website will not load on any browser (Firefox, IE, Chrome). Have turned off all security programs and firewalls, have tried in Safe Mode, will not load. It works on my smartphone. Can load the basic site, but not the sign-in page. Says Connected at the bottom of the page, but says Connecting at the top, and the little circle goes around counter clockwise; ran for one hour, still didn't load. It used to load, don't know if I did something or downloaded some program to make it stop.

You can try to access the website in a New Private Window.

  • Pages not loading properly and can't install add ons

After installing the Firefox 29 on Windows 7, the mozilla's site and add-ons page do not load properly. Some problem as shown in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/992362 and tried all the steps but still doesn't work.

I've got exactly the same problem on both v 29 and 30. The thing is, my desktop computer is fine, my BRAND NEW laptop, stripped of ALL it's HP crapware and just using MSE, can display ANY webpage ok EXCEPT anything to do with Mozilla Firefox add-ons, AND the browser can't install any add-ons. I've tried all the usual banal "fixes", including switching off hardware acceleration, but all I get is plain-text for the pages as per sample, and no install of add-ons themselves. Again, note that this is ONLY a problem on the laptop, not on my desktop. They are both plugged into the same router (both through LAN / ethernet), and so therefore they should both work properly. I don't want to hear any stupid suggestions about formatting and re-loading. Just damn-well fix it, please! I've already wasted more than an hour of my very valuable time on this ridiculous problem. And yes, I've even uninstalled Flash 14 just in case (even though Flash 14 is on my desktop and not causing any problems - yet).
