Browser settings for Flash Forms?

I have set up a site using Flash Forms. It is working for all
of my coworkers except one. He cannot see Flash Forms on any site,
not just the one I created. Are there some browser settings that
need to be set to see Flash Forms? This is happening for him in
both IE & Firefox, though. Also, we are behind a firewall that
blocks Activex, so maybe this has something to do with it, but I
don't know why it would work for everyone else.

Nevermind... I found out his Flash Player was WIN 9,0,47,0
while everyone else is WIN 9,0,124,0 . He upgraded & it is
working.

Help with Radio Buttons & Combo Box for Flash Form that sends email

I'm having a bit of a hard time with a Flash form that I'm working on.
I've got the basic text fields working fine, but I'm not sure how to retrieve the values from the Radio Button and Menu List components.
The PHP script pulls the values from the text fields with:
$contact_name = $_POST['name'];
$contact_email = $_POST['email'];
$contact_subject = $_POST['subject'];
but using
$radioGroup = $_POST['radioGroup'];
doesn't retrieve the selected radio button value.
The radio buttons have a groupName of "radioGroup". The combo box component doesn't even show up in the HTML version, but does in the .swf.
Can anyone point me in the correct direction to pull these values from these components and get them passed to the PHP form? The native .FLA and the php file are here for reference:

again, you assign a variable. the selected radiobutton's data and/or label isn't going to magically be sent to the php file.
for example, if you have sendLV and receiveLV loadvars instances, you can use:
sendLV.rbData=yourradiogroup.selection.data;
sendLV.yourothervariables=yourothervariables;
sendLV.sendAndLoad("yourphp.php",receiveLV,"POST");

Firefox browser settings for Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.3.500

Hi All,
I am windows 8.1 OS on my laptop. So I have only IE version 11 and I cannot degrade to IE10.
I installed Firefox 31.4.0. Does Hyperion planning work on this version of firefox? if not, what is the latest version of firefox I can use?
Is there any browser settings needs to be done in Firefox for Hyperion planning?

I have a new application assignment and want to give it a try
with Flash forms. Can anyone suggest a tutuorial or *gasp* a book

Best thing is to use the Adobe Media Encoder bundled with Flash CS4. Play with the settings until you get the optimum settings and the import the .flv to the stage. Then publish the movie "best".

Panel settings for Flash not responding on Mac OSX 10.5.8

After updating flash to newer version I cant change anything in Settings Panel (the one above global settings)
I cant even close it, cant disable hardware acceleration, nothing.

Sap crm 7.0 Browser settings for explorer 6.0 and Mozila Fire fox 6.0

In web Ui, when ever i try to create a new opportunity, Quotation, Sales agreement or order, I am getting an error in brower. in a popup :
An error has occured in the script on this page
Error: Oject doesnt support this property or method or Invalid Argument in Explorer 6.0.
I tried installing Mozila to check whether this is a browser issue, But there also
error is This website, does not supply ownership information connection is not encrypted.
I have tried changing the settings in Explore 6.0 to enable the following

Browser buttons for flash

Is there a reliable way / workaround to get the browser buttons (meaning the back and forward arrows) to work on an all flash website (
I have Dreamweaver CS4 if that helps)?
I'd been directed to SWFAddress a few months ago, but I couldn't get that working even after digging around on the Asual site and elsewhere for instructions on how to integrate this deep linking feature.

Browser scrollbar for Flash movie?

The webpage for my Flash movie does not have scrollbars. On
most of the frames (I did each site page as a named frame in a
single timeline) it doesn't matter, but there is one frame where
the content stretches the full 900 px tall and you can not scroll
down.
I'm afraid I also have complicated things because the client
said he wanted everything, the whole site, 10% bigger... so I set
the movie width and height as 110% in the HTML. (Suggestions on
this are appreciated, too!)
I'm worried that if I somehow add scrollbars, it will want to
add a horizontal scrollbar to the bottom too.
I was wondering if I could add a Flash scrollbar (if it
worked with scrolling mice, that would be bonus) just on that page,
and have it appear exactly at the right edge of the browser window
and smartly sense how tall to be. Would I have to load it as a
separate movie? Any suggestions are ever so much appreciated!

Security settings for email form

I created a form with LCD 8 with the intention of having different departments able to just complete the forms and click the "Submit by email" I was able to get the form to email as a PDF but I do not like that the user can change the form and I tried to set the security settings but when I did that the form would not email.
I really do not want the user to have to enter a password if possible.

Ok, if you are using LiveCycle Designer to make the form, I recommend
the LiveCycle Designer forum (LiveCycle is part of the name of many
different things). For other questions about Acrobat, including forms
made in Acrobat, I recommend the Acrobat Windows forum.

Best export settings for Flash

Hello,
I am trying to export a video to Flash for uploading to the web. I am using Sorenson Squeeze to convert the file to Flash. What is the best export settings in FCP for this. I don't want to encode the file twice.

What format is your original material and what format is your sequence? Generally speaking, export with sequence settings. This will not add any additional compression.

I apologize if this is a repeat question, but I've spent a couple of hours already today trying to find the answer and to no avail.
Here's what's happening: once completed, my creative agency sends me the file (mov format...details below) and I export it to flash (see settings below). When I export to flash video, all the white text on the black screen is fuzzy and borderline illegible, yet the rest of the video is fine. Any idea why this is happening?

Do you have any control over the format that your agency is sending the files to you in? An MP4 is one of the more challenging formats for Premiere Elements to work with.
You don't say which project settings you're using in Premiere Elements to work with these files -- but the combination of that and your file format could by why you're getting such mediocre results.
If they can send you MOVs using the DV codec rather than the H.264 codec, that would be a good start. You should be able to get great results editing a DV file in Premiere Elements project set up for DV.
I'm not sure why you're outputting your FLV file at those strange dimensions (700x300), but that could also account for your blurriness, since you've down-rezzing the file to a lower resolution. Are these the specs your agency wants your video at?
Finally, how are you judging the quality of your FLV files? What are you playing them on and are you looking at them at 100% actual size or are you looking at them oversized or, worse, at full-screen on your computer? This too can affect your results.

Private Browser - Sign-in to separate Browser settings for different people

I am the main user of my computer at work. However, other people use it too (unfortunately with my same login! not ideal but I don't have a choice).
I'd like to use Firefox as my main browser but want my settings to be my own private settings - including bookmarks and history. I'm not talking about private browsing as I'd like to be able to return to sites and history without having everything 'forgotten' on my behalf.
I currently use a User identity on Chrome - not ideal as someone else could still select the user and have access to my bookmarks etc. (can't login/logout, only create/delete)
Is there a way to launch and login/logout of a personalized browser.

You could set up a second profile and have others use that profile by using the Profile Manager to set it as the default profile.
If there isn't a shortcut on the desktop then others wouldn't be able to use your profile easily.
You can create this profile in a location that isn't the default.
You would have to use a terminal window to start Firefox with your own profile.

There are extensions to protect the profile with a password, but extensions can easily be bypassed by starting Firefox in Safe Mode (i.e hold down the Options key on Mac).
