Browser unable to render xls
Hi,
I am trying to download an xls by providing its path in an anchor link.The problem is all other files like
microsoft word doc, txt files, pdf files browser is able to render properly but with xls files browser presents
some encoded fields in a distorted manner.
Even my page contains the following page dirctive:
<%@ page contentType="application/vnd.ms-excel; charset=ISO-8859-1"
pageEncoding="ISO-8859-1" %>Kindly help me with this issue.

I just wanted to know one general question:
If I keep all my relevant files in the server that means inside my "+/webapps/MyParticularApplication/+" folder
instead of keeping it outside that folder in any other drive, will it load my server by any means?

Unable to render dynamic forms in Adobe Reader 11.0.2.0 for Firefox
Hi,
I had just upgraded my browser's (Firefox) Adobe Reader plugin to the latest version , 11.0.2.0 and it seems that it is unable to render DYNAMIC PDF forms created by Adobe Livecycle after this. However STATIC forms are okay.
Is there anyone facing the same problem? Is Adobe aware of this?

Safari unable to render some YouTube pages
I have Safari 5.1.2.
Safari is suddenly unable to render some pages over at YouTube. For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCBBv9LVGmc. Safari seems to start loading the page, then starts all over, and then starts all over ... and then finally I get this message: "Safari can't display this webpage. Safari has repeatedly encountered an error ..." I also get the same problem and message when I go to this page: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBrsM_WlfV8.
This does not happen with every YouTube page. Just some.
I have closed and reopened Safari. I have cleared the cache. Same problem. I have also uninstalled the Click to Flash extension. Same problem. Curiously, I do not have a problem with the page when I use my Camino browser.
Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any solutions?

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account, or is system-wide. Enable guest logins and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select “Help” from the menu bar, and enter “Set up a guest account” (without the quotes) in the search box.
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Any application you run will behave as if you were running it for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
As Guest, launch the application(s) and test. Same problem(s)?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it. -
Unable to render video in PSCS4 - Error Messages- QT DLL Issue??
I started this thread in the Adobe Forums for PhotshopCS4, but the consensus there was that my issue is a QuickTime issue, perhaps with a DLL and iTunes. I have included a few of those suggestions at the end of the post. I have tried uninstalling QT Pro, cleaning and reinstalling with no improvement. I have not removed iTunes and reinstalled.

I am unable to render video it seems in Photoshop CS4 Extended. Despite having the latest QuickTime Pro installed and all updates to Vista 32 bit and to CS4 Design Premium, I get the following error message:
"The procedure entry point CFCreateApplicationRepositoryPath could not be located in the data link library CoreFoundation.dll"
This happens when, for example, I load 100 medium resolution JPEGs as an image sequence and choose File >Export > Render Video.
If I OK through the error a couple of times I get a screen with output options, but usually some are greyed out. When I CAN put in QuickTime settings and choose export I get the following error:
"Could not complete the Render Video Command because of a program error."
When I have opened a support case with Adobe it has regularly been closed after being told to get QuickTime 7.2 or higher. GGGrrrr. I have QT 7.6.5 Pro installed.
Any help much appreciated....I do have Premiere Elements 7 installed as well FYI.

Was your QT properly installed with correct privileges? As Mr. Cox said, it seems there is an issue with your QT install. also, in the QT system control panle, enable the Allow Encoding using Legacy CoDecs option. this often fixes the weirdest issues (as it also catches a number of other legacy calls to QT components)...

Thanks guys- the QT install SEEMS fine....? I will try allowing legacy CODECs and if that doesnt ehlp I will totally uninstall QT Pro, clean the registry, reboot and install QT from the top. Will let you know how I get on with this.

I have enabled using legacy CODECs and restarted, same error message.
I have completely uninstalled QuickTime(Pro), run CCleaner to clear files and the registry...I have then rebooted, reinstalled Quicktime(Pro) 7.6.5, rebooted. I get the very same error message at that time.

All the google searches point directly at Apple like Chris pointed out. I noticed that there were a lot of Apple product hits but the most standing out was itunes. Did you happen to install itunes software (or some other Apple product) and maybe itunes over-wrote the .DLL? Other then that thought I don't have any other input.
I agree this is an issue with an Apple DLL. The error you're getting suggests that the wrong version of the DLL is being used. It means that the thing that is rendering the video is expecting the CoreFoundation DLL to have a particular function called CFCreateRepositoryPath but it's not there.
What could be happening is that there are multiple instances of this DLL on the computer and the PATH is leading to the wrong one.
You might search your entire hard-drive and find where the CoreFoundation DLL exists and what version each is. If there is only one version, then perhaps your version of QuickTime is actually too new. Photoshop 11.0.1 came out a long time ago, and the version of QuickTime referred to in the support-ticket-closure response is also pretty old, so maybe the newest QuickTime is using a newer version of the DLL that Photoshop knows how to deal with.
Searching my system for CoreFoundation. there is one smaller version of the DLL in Apple Application Support dated in November and then several larger ones in directories dealing with mobile phones like the iPhone, which I don't have one of, dated a few months earlier.
I'm guessing the iPhone stuff came with iTunes, which I do have installed, though I don't really use it.

Okay, the most recent versions of QuickTime require a fully functional Apple Application Support in order to run properly. You're getting a problem with one of the Apple Application Support dlls. So the best thing to do first would be to uninstall both Apple Application Support and QuickTime, and then reinstalling QuickTime (which should reinstall a fresh version of Apple Application Support).

Also I have installed the latest Nvidia Driver each time I have tried working with video, had no improvement.
NOTE related thread here that I opened previously on APE7. Am deleting the NVIDIA stuff again and rebooting to test if those Nvidia apps are cause.

EPSON TWAIN 5I agree this is an issue with an Apple DLL. The error you're getting suggests that the wrong version of the DLL is being used. It means that the thing that is rendering the video is expecting the CoreFoundation DLL to have a particular function called CFCreateRepositoryPath but it's not there.
What could be happening is that there are multiple instances of this DLL on the computer and the PATH is leading to the wrong one.
You might search your entire hard-drive and find where the CoreFoundation DLL exists and what version each is. If there is only one version, then perhaps your version of QuickTime is actually too new. Photoshop 11.0.1 came out a long time ago, and the version of QuickTime referred to in the support-ticket-closure response is also pretty old, so maybe the newest QuickTime is using a newer version of the DLL that Photoshop knows how to deal with.
Searching my system for CoreFoundation. there is one smaller version of the DLL in Apple Application Support dated in November and then several larger ones in directories dealing with mobile phones like the iPhone, which I don't have one of, dated a few months earlier.
I'm guessing the iPhone stuff came with iTunes, which I do have installed, though I don't really use it. -
Unable to Render Video in PSCS4 Extended - Error Messages
I am unable to render video it seems. Despite having the latest QuickTime Pro in stalled and all updates to Vista 32 bit and to CS4 Design Premium, I get the following error message:
"The procedure entry point CFCreateApplicationRepositoryPath could not be located in the data link library CoreFoundation.dll"
This happens when, for example, I load 100 medium resolution JPEGs as an image sequence and choose File >Export > Render Video.
If I OK through the error a couple of times I get a screen with output options, but usually some are greyed out. When I CAN put in QuickTime settings and choose export I get the following error:
"Could not complete the Render Video Command because of a program error."
When I have opened a support case it has regularly been closed after being told to get QuickTime 7.2 or higher. GGGrrrr. I have QT 7.6.5 Pro installed.
Any help much appreciated....I do have Premiere Elements 7 installed as well FYI.
Also I have installed the latest Nvidia Driver each time I have tried working with video, had no improvement.
NOTE related thread here that I opened previously on APE7. Am deleting the NVIDIA stuff again and rebooting to test if those Nvidia apps are cause.

UPDATED- removing the NVIDIA apps had no effect- same exact errors on trying to File > Export > Render Video

According to your post, my understanding is that you failed to open external list.
Please change the External Content’s connection properties’ Authentication Mode to BDC identity.
Then launch the SharePoint 2013 Management Shell and run the PowerShell commands to remove the error.

Hi,
I have followed the steps in the following link:
Make an External List from a SQL Azure table with Business Connectivity Services and Secure Store, but I keep receiving the following message when I try to access an external list:
"Unable to render the data. If the problem persists, contact your web server administrator"
Note: I'm using SharePoint 2013 ONLINE, and (as far as I know) I have no access to the logs & powershell.
Any body has had the same issue before?

Calendar Display Issue / Unable to render component: ORA-00936: missing exp
I am trying to display a range of dates in an APEX calendar, where the start and end date are in the record being selected.
The SQL statement works fine in sqlplus, however when put into the calendar renders the error message "Unable to render component: ORA-00936: missing expression".

Why am I unable to render my PE12.1 project ?
I have been unable to render my 41 minute PE 12.1 project. My system freezes or crashes around the 2 minute mark during the exporting process or frame #2,200 of 73,145. I had no trouble editing the video clips and now wish to create a DVD. There is little of any consequence in the project - a few titles, a number of transitions and the menus. I am using windows 7 and Premiere elements 12.1. My operating system is on a SSD 128GB card with only 12 to 20GB remaining(seems to change every time I check it). I have 2TB of hard drives with about 1.3TB remaining. All the scratch disk files are pointed to that drive..

Your clip settings MUST match your timeline settings. If you have DV/NTSC material, you need a DV/NTSC timeline. The frame rate, audio rate and dimensions (4:3, 16:9) all need to match exactly. In Final Cut Pro 6, this is easy, because when you drop a clip into the timeline, it asks if you want to set up the timeline to match the settings of the first clip you drag into it. Click YES and you are ready to go.
However, in FCP 5.1 and earlier, it is a bit trickier.
The most important thing you need to do is properly set up your project from the start, and the best way to do this is to choose a setting from the Easy Setups, located under the Final Cut Pro menu.
Once you do this, you’ll need to create a new sequence. This is because the sequence that is already in your new project is setup for the typical default setting of DV/NTSC, or for the settings of your last project, which might not match what you are currently working with. So delete SEQUENCE 1 and create a new sequence:
This new sequence will contain the settings you chose in the Easy Setup menu, and should match the format you captured.

Using SharePoint online (365) I am trying to create an external list to a SQL table. I go through the steps in SP designer and finally create the external list but when I go to the list I get the error:

I have read all of the posts on here to fix this and they are mainly for on premise; the powershell doesn't work with spOnline and I have added permissions into the BCS service application but nothing works. I read that it is not possible to connect
sharepoint online to an on-premise SQL database so I moved the SQL database to an azure SQL service server but I still get the same error.
I have a "test" on premise sharepoint which I have tried this on and it works fine so it must be an issue with SPonline! does anyone know how to get BCS connections to external data working in sharepoint online as external lists?Hi,

When the update for my browser took place, on 5/5/14 @ approximately 12:15 am, it rendered the browser unable to connect to any websites. It does work in safe mode, but not in regular mode. I am on an hp pavilion dv7, running windows 7. I need to resolve this issue ASAP. Or I will have to switch browsers, which I don't want to do, as I have used Firefox for many years. I have trouble in loading a persistent LOB into a georaster :
- I use sdo_geor.getRasterSubset to get whole cells (512x512) of band 0 of a 8BIT_U georaster, into a BLOB
- dbms_lob.getLength of the blob gives me correct length : 262144 (=512x512)
- i stored this blob into a persistent LOB (LOB in table)
- just to check, i did dbms_lob.getLength for the BLOB column. gives me 262144
- but when i used SDO_GEOR.importFrom to load the BLOB from the blob table into the georaster table, error occured :

All right now am in 11g; after some error in installing 11g, failure in data moving when upgrading from 10gR2 to 11gR1 so i lost all my data (did not backup coz little space left).
Then i decided to get rid all the installed 11g and 10gR2, cleaning up the registry keys, for clean installation of 11g.
The 11g is now installed. I didnot have data backup but for georaster backup i can rely on the raster file and table creation sql i stored in text files. When i use the GeoRasterViewer tool (now version 11) for importing these raster files, the "OK" button in 'Import to DB' dialog does not give me anything. It does not works. Nothing loaded. The raster file is 8 bit TIFF, 512 rows x 512 cols x 15 layers. (i tried different images but no luck).
Here is my table definition :

In iPhoto I get "unable to render file for export" when trying to export a file to an SD card?
I have been trying to save jpg files to an SD card. When I export from iPhoto is says "unable to render file for export". It will let me export to the desktop. Then when I try to copy or move to the SD card, it says the SD card does not have enought free space. It's a 1 gig card and the files are under 100k. I have tried different SD cards, formating the cards with the camera. The card has 200 filles (57mb) when I started and wanted to add more. I have ereased the card trying to see if that would help. No go! Any ideas?
What is the filesystem on that card?
i assume, you made sure that the little white lock mechanism at the side of the card is unlocked?
Try, if you can set the "Ignore ownership on this volume" flag for the card in the "Get Info" panel for the card. -

I have a new e5 and I can not connect to internet. I get message:
I try to connect to Internet via my wireless router (no password no firewall). I connect to router (Wlan: found) but when I try to visit any web page I get message:

I installed another web browser(opera) and it still doesnt work.
I also updated nokia software.
My router is using:

so it should work.
