Browsers not loading Webview properly

Hello all,
I can connect to Webview and login just fine, but the home page isn't loading right. When loading, the graphics don't load all the way and in the middle somewhere is a scroll window that flashes for a brief second then disappears, maybe I can show a picture:
Browser picture
and here is the home page code:

Linksys have advised that they have not fully tested these products on Mac's and that it is a Java issue. Linksys also provide very limited support for Mac.
I have other Linksys products and they do work.
I suspect that it is just this version of webview and that greater testing is required of the java script across all platforms not just windows.
I would like to think that I will be able to make this work on os X and have to buy windows to do so.

  • Browsers not loading images, pages loading like text pages.

    I've had an issue for months now that comes and goes where images will not load on any browser I use. When the issue comes up, I'll open all the browsers I have to find its occuring on all of them, they are: Safari, Chrome and Firefox.
    I'm also getting an issue where pages will load like a text or source page. I've tried clearing the cache and resetting Safari, restarting my iMac, but it doesn't work. Then when I used the computer later in the day it'll be fine, it's an issue that comes and goes throughout the day and I'm not sure what's causing it or how to fix it.
    Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

  • MBP lagging, browsers not loading pages

    I have a MBP (late 2011), 2.4 GHz, 4 GB, 500GB ST9500325ASG Media, OS 10.9.5. A few days ago Safari started lagging (wheel of death), google pages would not load, and could not connect to google drive/mail. Only after a restart things would work normally for a couple of hours and then the same problems appeared. The situation has become worse with the problem extending to other browsers (chrome), and recently I get a wheel of death with any application I try to open or work with. If I wait for 20 minutes or so, most applications start responding ok, but still, after a couple of hours the same issues reappear. I've tried resetting safari and the problem persisted, then did a safe boot and disk verification and the drive turned out ok but nothing has changed. I am getting extremely worried. Could anyone please help me?

    Thanks OGELTHORPE!!!
    I did run EtreCheck and here's the report (not sure what to make of it though, but I'll try):

  • Firefox is not loading websites properly on our mac.

    Firefox is not loading banners/background images/various interactive buttons etc on '''all''' web sites: I'm using Firefox/3.6.12 on Mac OS 10.4.11
    Other browsers are fine: ie Safari and Opera.
    Firefox is working fine on our PC.
    I have taken screen shots of Google home page and Firefox home page in Ff and Safari to illustrate this point and can email these to you so you can see what's happening. Ff was working fine yesterday.
    Entering extra information as requested I've noticed that the Default Plugin is showing as disabled in the Technical info under the Trouble shooting menu but is showing as enabled in the plugins list in the Ff drop down.

    Firefox > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"

  • Safari not loading page properly

    Hi all,
    I have a fairly specific problem with Safari (8.0.3 on OS X 10.10.2) in that the Stripe login page does not load properly for me. All I see when I go here is basic HTML: http://dashboard.stripe.com/login
    In terms of troubleshooting, I have tried the following
    Disabled Extensions
    Disabled plugins
    Emptied Caches
    Cleared cookies and other website data
    I then decided to create a new user on my Mac to see what would happen. In the new user's Safari, the page loads exactly as it should.
    So, my question is, what else can I do to troubleshoot this? Have I missed something?
    Cheers,
    Pete

    Back up all data before proceeding.
    Quit Safari if it’s running. Then select
               ▹ Force Quit…
    from the menu bar. A small window will open with a list of running applications. Safari may appear in that list, even though you quit it. If so, select it and press return. Close the window.
    Step 1
    Hold down the option key and select
              Go ▹ Library
    from the Finder menu bar. Delete the following items from the Library folder (some may not exist):
              Caches/com.apple.Safari
              Caches/com.apple.Safari.SearchHelper
              Caches/com.apple.SafariServices
              Caches/com.apple.WebKit.PluginProcess
              Caches/com.apple.WebProcess
              Caches/Metadata/Safari
              Preferences/com.apple.WebKit.PluginHost.plist
              Preferences/com.apple.WebKit.PluginProcess.plist
              Saved Application State/com.apple.Safari.savedState
    Leave the Library folder open. Try Safari again. If the problem is solved, stop here. Close the Library folder. If you still have a problem, continue.
    Step 2
    Restart the computer in safe mode. Certain caches maintained by the system will be rebuilt.
    Safe mode is much slower to start up than normal.
    When the login screen appears, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and test. There's no need to log in while in safe mode.
    Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t start in safe mode. In that case, ask for instructions.
    Step 3
    If Safari still doesn’t work, quit, go back to the Finder, and move the following items from the open Library folder to the Desktop (again, some may not exist):
              Cookies/Cookies.binarycookies
              Internet Plug-Ins
              Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.Safari.*.plist
              Preferences/com.apple.Safari.Extensions.plist
              Preferences/com.apple.Safari.LSSharedFileList.plist
              Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist
              Preferences/com.apple.WebFoundation.plist
              PubSub/Database
              Safari
              SyncedPreferences/com.apple.Safari.plist
    Here, "*" stands for a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes.
    Note 1: You are not moving the Safari application. You’re moving a folder named “Safari.”
    Note 2: This step will remove your Safari extensions, if any, and their settings. If you choose to reinstall them, do so one at a time, testing each time to make sure you haven’t restored the problem.
    Try again. Your settings and bookmarks will be lost. The default set of bookmarks will be restored. Delete them all.
    If Safari is now working normally (apart from the lost settings), look inside the “Safari” folder on the Desktop for a file named “Bookmarks.plist”. Select
              File ▹ Import Bookmarks...
    from the Safari menu bar. Import from that file. Recreate the rest of your Safari settings. You can then delete the items you moved to the Desktop.
    If the issue is still not resolved, quit Safari again and put all the items you moved to the Desktop back where they were, overwriting the newer ones that may have been created in their place. You don’t need to replace the files you deleted in Step 1. Stop here and post again.
    If you don’t like the results of the last step, you can undo it completely by quitting Safari and restoring the items you moved or deleted in that step from your backup, overwriting any that were created in their place.

  • Safari browser not loading videos properly?

    Every time I use Safari to load videos or go on YouTube, the video either does not load properly and gives me an error message "your browser does not currently recognize this format" or it says HTML5 and I have to click on it for it to load. The message usually goes away when I refresh the browser and the HTML5 message will appear. The video usually works after I click on it, however the video doesn't play in YouTube's video player. It's just really inconvenient not being able to use YouTube's video player or even other video players on different websites. I was wondering is there anything I can do to fix this, or this just the way Safari loads videos?
    I've attached some images showing the issues.
    Thanks for any help!

    1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
        Press “Delete All” button under “Browsing Data and Settings”.
    2. Install Adobe Flash Player.
        http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
        Download it and quit Safari from Safari menu in the menu bar.
        Follow the prompts to install Adobe Flash Player.
    3.  Allow  Plug-ins
        Safari > Preferences > Security
        Internet Plug-ins >  "Allow  plug-ins"
        Enable it.
    4. Safari > Preferences > Privacy  > Cookies and website data:
        Press the “ Remove All Website Data” button.
        Press the “Details” button.
        Remove YouTube related cookies.

  • Why are some of the browsers not loading?

    Some of the browsers loaded after a while but some, such as Chrome and one of the IE versions just sits there going round and round on 0% loaded.  I accidentally left one trying to load while I went out shopping and on my return found it hadn't changed from 0%!!
    What is the problem here please and what can I do to be able to check my site in a range of browsers?
    Thanks

    I was actually trying to test a stand alone site (through firebug) which I thought was possible.  But as a result of your question I have just gone back into browsser lab and find that if I enter an actual url rather than a stand alone site the browsers are loading.
    Have now tried it again through firebug with a standalone site and most of the browsers are working except for IE8 which is just sitting on 0%.
    Thanks for getting back to me.

  • Multiple Browsers not loading some pages

    My wife ran into a problem late last night loading her LiveJournal page. Other pages seemed to load, but not that one. At first, we thought it was that site's problem.
    However, this morning the problem has spread to other sites. YouTube Yahoo and Google load okay, but most others do not -- including Blockbuster. I tried running a software update, but it would not load and asked me to check the Network Diagnostics. I did, and it said my internet was running fine. E-mail loads fine, but the icons from LiveJournal will not load in a message. I tried running the netscape browser to see if it was a Safari problem -- and it won't load pages either.
    It's a 20" iMac which is just a week and half shy of being one year old. I am running 10.4.11, I believe (I'm at work now and don't have the computer in front of me.) My internet is cable through road runner. I don't think there are any third party programs attached to Safari.
    Any suggestions?

    i have the same problem with my space and apple.com
    myspace takes for ever to load
    most of the time it doesnt show pictures just a blue box with a question mark
    and at times i get no internet connection on apple.com
    really weird
    let me know if you get to resolve this....

  • Plugin Checker Not Loading/Checking Properly

    Today I tried to check my plugins to see if they were up to date, as one should do on a regular basis in order to keep things running smoothly.
    However, when I tried to check, all I got was this: http://i.imgur.com/gI1rlqH.png The page would complete loading, but the plugin information would not load.
    I manually checked the plugins I frequently use, and all are up to date...so I doubt that is the cause.
    My Firefox version is more or less up to date...so that's probably not the cause either.
    I checked the page while in Safe Mode; that did not get me any results. The issue was still there. So that's probably not the problem either.
    I doubt internet connection is an issue too, as my internet is fairly good and usually this page loads no matter the signal strength.
    I have not done anything new to either my laptop or the browser, so I am wondering what is causing the Plugin Checker to not load the way it should.

    @philipp I just tried your suggestion. No luck there, even after restarting my browser.
    Also, it appears I am not the only one with this issue. I just spotted another thread describing the same issue.

  • Webview does not load content properly when disabling its scrolling through script

    I have an App in which I need to show some html content in a page but I have given my App's scrolling in it. So whole page needs to scroll combined. To achieve this I use two WebViews to navigate to string and get height of content by javascript from first
    webview and assign it to second webview and then disable it's default scrolling. I have taken a rectangle over it to allow user to scroll in page. This strategy works fine where content is low but if the content is large in webview it shows blank page in top
    and down and shows some content in middle. Sometimes it does not show content but Height gets assigned. I tried using RichTextBlock but it does not parse all type of tags and I don't want WebView to scroll but to adjust it's height according to content. can
    anybody provide any help?
    Link to my code App2

    Hi RohitrkKUmar,
    After looking into your sample project, I found you are nesting unnecessary Grid and making thing complex. Using fixed height in the second grid and the app will use scroll bar if the height of content is longer than the grid. I make some changes according
    to my understanding, you can try the following code snippet.
    <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="White">
    <Grid.ChildrenTransitions>
    <TransitionCollection>
    <EntranceThemeTransition x:Name="Animation"/>
    </TransitionCollection>
    </Grid.ChildrenTransitions>
    <Grid.RowDefinitions>
    <RowDefinition Height="50"/>
    <RowDefinition Height="500"/>
    <RowDefinition Height="auto" />
    </Grid.RowDefinitions>
    <TextBlock Grid.Row="0" Text="Demo App" VerticalAlignment="Center" Foreground="Black" FontSize="24" HorizontalAlignment="Center"/>
    <StackPanel Grid.Row="1">
    <TextBlock Name="demoText" Foreground="White" Width="Auto" Height="Auto" TextWrapping="WrapWholeWords"/>
    <WebView Visibility="Visible" ScrollViewer.VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Visible" ScrollViewer.VerticalScrollMode="Auto" ScrollViewer.ZoomMode="Disabled" DefaultBackgroundColor="Aqua" Margin="10" Name="aboutDescript" DOMContentLoaded="aboutDescript_DOMContentLoaded" />
    <Rectangle Width="auto" Name="wbRect" Fill="Transparent"/>
    </StackPanel>
    <TextBox Grid.Row="2" Text="something else"></TextBox>
    </Grid>
    Please feel free to let me know if you have any concerns.

  • Web Browsers Not Loading Pages

    Yesterday, I noticed I had problems accessing a few web pages. I use Firefox and was getting pages of code, pages that loaded in weird ways, and some pages just wouldn't load at all, giving me a message saying: "Content Encoding Error: The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."
    I assumed it was a Firefox issue so I upgraded to Firefox 5. This did nothing. I uninstalled and re-installed Firefox. Nothing. I cleared the cache, then deleted my Firefox profile. Nothing. Then I decided to try Safari and had the same problems. Also with Chrome.
    It does not, therefore, seem to be an issue related to any one browser but rather is affecting all of them and it means most of the websites I use won't load or only partially load.
    I have no idea what's going on . . . I've cleared out downloads and I've run the disk verify . . . it all seems clean. Help!
    I'm running OS X 10.6.8 and everything is updated.

    Have you contacted your ISP? Often, when multiple browsers fail, it's an ISP problem.
    If you have a cable modem, try reseting it. Turn off any computers using the service, and the router if you have one. Then unplug the power cord form the modem. Simply turning off the modem doesn't work. Give it about 30 seconds, then reconnect the modem's power cord. Once you see a normal pattern of lights on the modem, turn on the router, giving it a few seconds to reconnect, then turn on the computers.

  • Images on webpages do not load/cache properly

    Using the new Firefox 5.0, I find that many websites don't load properly in that background images and some regular images will seem to load one time, but upon page reload they are gone, and if you reload again, they're back. It's happened on Google and Facebook and other personal sites. Sometimes the background images will be there and as you hover over things like buttons (w/ background images) the images vanish. Clearing the Cache doesn't seem to help.

    Ok restarted in Safe mode with no plugins or themes and it's still doing the same thing. Didn't fix the random weirdness of dissappearing background images (they're there, then they're not, then reload and they're back, move mouse around page, they dissapear, reload and back, click on the menu bar and they vanish, etc). Also, my Favicons are still missing randomly. I have some app tabs for Facebook and Google Reader and other things and sometimes the favicons show up othertimes (like now) they don't. Would a screenshot or screen cast of this behavior help?

  • Browsers not loading web pages.

    Hi there I'm hoping someone can help me with this.
    This evening I logged on to my mac to find that none of my browsers (Safari, Chrome and Firefox) could load web pages. My MacBook Pro connects to the Internet via wifi. All other devices (wired and wireless) connected to the router work and even when the mac is hard wired it works. I have a bootcamp install of windows that works fine.
    I tried loading all 3 browsers on another users account to no avail as well as attempting it in a guest account. I also attempted to load pages whilst booted in safe mode again to no avail. The strange thing is, when I connect to my universities VPN the browsers all work fine.
    I have also noticed that applications installed that show in the menu bar (weather, Dropbox etc) do not work unless the mac is hard wired (or connected to the VPN wirelessly).
    Can anyone help with this problem please?

    First contact your ISP.  You need to confirm that the issue is not on their end.
    Change your router channel.  Sometimes this is all you will have to do.
    Power cycling the router.  Read the router's user manual or contact their tech support for instructions.
    System Preferences/Internet & Network/Network
    Unlock the padlock
    Locations:  Automatic
    Highlight Airport
    Click the Assist Me button
    In the popup window click the Diagnostic button.
    System Preferences/Network- Unlock padlock.  Highlight Airport.  Network Name-select your name.  Click on the Advanced button.  Airport/Preferred Networks-delete all that is not your network.
    Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined."  Click the OK button and lock the padlock.  Restart your computer.

    No internet connection (wireless)
    Check to see if an extra entry is present in the DNS Tab for your wireless connection (System Preferences/Network/Airport/Advanced/DNS).
    Delete all extra entries that you find.
    Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined."

  • How can I fix my browsers not loading?

    So, all of a sudden my browsers (all safari, chrome, and Firefox; I mainly use chrome though) just won't load at all. I originally thought it was my mobile internet because that is temperamental, but I am using that now on my phone to ask this question! Please help.. I need step by step instructions as I am very new to this stuff..
    I have also deleted history and emptied the cache. Soo, yeap. I'm stuck.

    Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait for few minuets.
    Power off the router. Wait a while.
    Connect the router back to to the wall.
    Power the router back on. Wait  until all lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
    Restart the computer.
    Start up in Safe Mode.

  • Web browsers not loading webpages

    Overnight, a couple of days ago, my web browsers (Safari and Chrome) both stopped loading webpages. When I click on a link, I get a blank page. But when I am logged as a guest or browse through Vmware's windows I can still browse normally. Thanks for helping to fix this.

    Thank you Carolyn,
    I've got Sophos installed from long time ago. That's the only antivirus that is installed.
    Checking in firewall settings didn't help I think, cause even after desactivating the firewall temporaly didn't fix the issue in both web browsers.
    This issue is not discussed in Mac malware guide.
    Another detail, is that some web content will load like this discussion group or google search. But If I click on any item from google search, the page won't load.
