Brush panel continues to pop up suddenly over cursor(PS-cc bug?)

Help please-whenever I try to use my brush too the brush panel pops up over the cursor forcing me to hit undo or click elsewhere to remove it. This is every stroke of the brush- not when I first switch to that tool. This was not a proble 24 hours ago until I upgaded to PhotoshopCC! I have gone through the preferences menu and made every change to the brush panel that I could. But it still happens.  I am on a pc with window8 and 16ram and a Cintiq21. I would really appreciate any help as this is really slowing me down.

THANK YOU!!! My rocker switches on all my pens had been reset for Adobe programs but still read as right click whenever not in Adobe which the Cintiq assumes is any second my pen is not on the screen- grabbing for my brush with the rocker switch still in right click mode (a quarter of and inch from the screen) was the problem. Thanks again!

  • Brush Panel vs. Presets Panel

From the Brush Presets Panel, I choose Basic Brushes from the drop down menu. Then Replace. The new choice of brushes appear in the Brush Panel and in the Brush Presets Panel.
But in the Brush Panel, additional brushes appear.
There are always more brushes in the Brush Panel than the Brush Presets Panel whenever I Replace. The Brushes Preset Manager is poplulated with identical brushes as the Brush Presets Panel.
What determines the additional brushes that appear in the Brush Panel?
    Thanks,
    Sonny

Thanks, Chris. I am a little embarrassed. I have looked all over to try to figure this one out.
I know what a brush preset is (like a Swatch), and how to change a brush tip. But I cannot get my head around the relationship of the two Panels, to answer your question. Nor, why there are more in the Brush Panel. The Brush Panel contains those chosen via the Brush Preset Panel + additional brushes. The additional brushes seem to be the same for whatever brushes are Replaced via the Brush Preset Panel.
Maybe if you could you please define what brushes appear in the Brush Panel.
Then define what brushes appear in the Brush Presets Panel.
From there I should be able to understand why there are more brushes in the Brush Panel.
    Thanks very much,
    Sonny

  • Get ads popping up all over. Switched to Explorer. Prefer Firefox

I am getting ads popping up all over the place. I tried Explorer and don't have the problem. I deleted Firefow and reinstalled but get the same problem. I did a full scan of my computer with my security software. I have switched to Explorer because I don't get the problem there. I would still prefer to use Firefox but can't.

This will be a 3-part answer... I'm assuming this problem in on your Windows 7 system.
    '''Part I'''
The most common culprit is a bad add-on. Here's my suggested procedure for tracking down and cleaning up bad add-ons and other ad injectors. I know it seems long, but it's not that bad.
    (1) Open the Windows '''Control Panel''', Uninstall a Program. After the list loads, click the "Installed on" column heading to group the infections, I mean, additions, by date. This can help in smoking out undisclosed bundle items that snuck in with some software you agreed to install. Take out as much trash as possible here.
    (2) Open Firefox's '''Add-ons page''' using either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click '''Plugins'''. Set nonessential and unrecognized plugins to "Never Activate".
In the left column, click '''Extensions'''. Then, if in doubt, disable (or Remove, if possible) unrecognized and unwanted extensions.
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
    Any improvement?
    (3) You can search for remaining issues with the '''scanning/cleaning tools''' listed in our support article: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]]. These on-demand scanners are free and take considerable time to run. If they finish quickly and especially if they require payment, you may have a serious infection. I suggest the specialized forums listed in the article in that case.

  • How do I permanently remove "Authentication Required" window that continues to pop up?

I am running Firefox 15.0.1 on Mac OS 10.6.8. A window continues to pop up that reads, "Authentication Required" and "Enter username and password for ftp://ftp.radiogarage.com". This happens every time Firefox is opened and continues to pop up approximately every 30-60 seconds until I close Firefox. How do I permanently remove/delete/get rid of this pop up window? I have clicked on Help > Troubleshooting Information > Reset Firefox but that has not solved the issue. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

  • Since I ipdated photoshop CC 2014, my layers and brush panels (and others) will not stay open. AS soon as I open them, they close. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Trying to open my layers or brush panels in photoshop Cc 2014 and they won't stay open. They close as soon as they open. This started immediately following the latest update that I ran today.

Try resetting the PS preferences and check if it's an issue with corrupt preferences : http://forums.adobe.com/thread/375776
Try to open PS in Plugin Disabled mode and check the same. For that Press Shift+PS icon and hit Yes.

I tried to purchase a free app, but a window continues to pop up saying that my Apple ID has been disabled. What do I do? I tried resetting my password but that did not work.
    Thanks

Are you able to download the app using your apple ID on a computer? If it is saying your apple ID is disabled that could mean apple had seen fit to disable it for some reason. Check to make sure you don't owe and money on your account or anything.

  • Keyboard shortcut enable/disable transfer option (Brush Panel)

Is There a way to assign a keyboard shortcut to enable/disable the transfer option in the Brush Panel ?

Not sure for Mac, but in Windows I can enable, disable or change this option. However, according to https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA12024/what-are-hotkeys-and-how-do-i-use-them-mac and https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA12074/what-keyboard-shortcuts-can-i-use-with-skype-for-mac-os-x seems that these options are available for Mac OS.

  • How to Keep Custom Brushes in the Brush Panel Flyout Menu?

So I have a set of brushes that I mostly commonly use. However, I still use other brushes on occasion. When I load those brushes, my custom brush set doesn't stay in the flyout menu and I have no choice but to find the brush file and reload it. Every time.
It's getting to be a pain in the butt, so I'm wondering if there is a way to permanently keep your custom brush set in the flyout menu of the brush panel I've attached a screen shot in case what I wanted wasn't quite clear! I want my custom brushes to go where the green area is point.
Also I'm running a Japanese version of PS, but I'm pretty sure almost all the menu places remain the same. I translated some of the menu (although it might not be the exact same as the US CS6, but if you give me instructions, I'm pretty sure I can figure it out!)

    Thanks! You're a life saver

Looks like you using mac os x?
There are two places you can put your brush presets file:
    1. /Macintosh HD /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Presets/Brushes
    2. /Users/User Name/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Presets/Brushes
The difference is that the ones in the cs6 application folder show in your red area and the ones in the library show up below the red area with a separator line

    Hi
I constantly get same message.  When I open up my windows laptop all works fine so I guess it's a bug that apple refuse to admit to.

  • Local Adjustment Brush Panel Changed in LR3?

In LR2, I used to be able to click a small rectangular button in the local adjustments brush panel to change the lay out of the effects sliders. I can't seem to find the button in LR3, and the default layout of the effects sliders is much more cumbersome to work with than the alternative view offered in LR2. What am I missing???

So does that mean I could create a custom + exposure, +
    saturation, +clarity +sharpening brush?
Another Q: when I use the local mask, I get what looks like sand smeared around the edges of the brush on solid surfaces. When I am using the local mask around the edges of vegetation, the leaves sart to get a lot of halo-ing. Is this normal? When is the best time to use the local mask?

  • Right+click brush panel problem

I use dual monitors. Tools on one monitor, doc. on the other. When working on the doc side and I right+click to bring up the brush tool panel to quickly change brushes, size, etc. the brush tool panel opens, but on the monitor with my tools not under my brush on the doc side. Basically this below.
I painted, right clicked to change brush size and the brush panel opens hugging the right side of the other monitor. My brush is the round in the black paint. (I tabbed my other tools out so as to make it as clear as possible.) Any help I can get with with this will be a huge help.

Thanks for your response. I'm not sure if that's the problem however. My drivers are up to date, and my G.C. is set to where it should be. Also I have no problem operating anything else on the other monitor, and right clicking to open another window (i.e. magic brush tool right click to deselect, feather, etc., right click using the crop tool) all work on both monitors. Which is why I think it's a bug.

    Hey xxCreepyFiaxx,
First, I would try the following suggested steps for when you don't see content in iTunes after updating:
    Quit iTunes.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes.
Use the Finder (Mac) or Windows Explorer (Windows) to go to the iTunes folder that contains the iTunes library files:
    Mac OS X
    /Users/username/Music/iTunes/
Microsoft Windows Windows XP and Windows 2000
    \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\
Microsoft Windows Windows Vista and Windows 7
    \Users\username\Music\iTunes\
Drag the iTunes Library file from the above location to the Desktop.
Open the Previous iTunes Libraries folder in the iTunes folder.
Locate the file named iTunes Library YYYY-MM-DD where YYYY-MM-DD is the date you upgraded iTunes (Year-Month-Day).
Drag this file to the iTunes folder (the enclosing folder).
Rename this file to iTunes Library.
    Open iTunes.
You should now see your missing content in iTunes.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, then I'd go through the steps in here:

    Have a good one,

  • I can´t install my self-created brush panel for PS CC as an extension.

It´s always saying in the Extension Manager CC " Extension can´t be installed. "Photoshop 64-Version must be between 14.0 and 14.9." What does it mean. I´m using PS CC 2014.1.0 and I´ve created my brush panel with Configurator 4.

I'm afraid that's because in the last release, Adobe removed the Flash support for custom panels.
