Brush Pressure On Trust Tablet Issue

Hey guys
I have a problem here as when i click on shape dynamics and pen pressure it doesnt show the pen pressure in the small picture given of the brush.
I have my driver updates and photoshop updated.
The pen pressure does work though to a certain extent but only seems to be picking up the trust pen sensitivy rather than photoshops...
if that makes sense?
anyways anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it
Thank you
steve

Contact the maker of your tablet and see about updated drivers.
The tablet maker is responsible for sending the tablet pressure (and tilt, etc.) information to the correct APIs for applications to use.
And last I checked, Trust was only using the Ink APIs for pressure, not the WinTab APIs that most professional applications use.

  • Trust tablet + illustrator CS3 + pressure problem

    Hi guys,
I've get recently trust slimline tablet for mac. Using Mac OS X 10.6.2 with adobe cs3. I've installed the tablet, and it works ok with photoshop  and does recognize brush pressure and everything. But illustrator doesn't seem to see it - I still can draw and use the pen, but when I'm trying to change calligraphic (or any other) brushes settings to pressure sensitive it's impossible: the only variables working are fixed and random. the pen icon in right bottom corner is crossed. Have contacted trust - and there is no special drivers for illustrator, anyway have installed the newest drivers, have installed illustrator update. restarted everything and so on - and still no result. and photoshop still perfect. Any advice? Maybe I should turn on something different than just brushes settings? Have been trying to find any solutions on forums, but no luck there
    Thanks in advance

I got the one for mac. [Slimline design tablet for Mac, 15908, 'Fully compatible with Mac OS tablet']. If it was to be working with windows only would expect it to not work with photoshop and other things as well....

  • CS6 does not recognise pen pressure (Trust Tablet) though all other programs do

    Hi
Trying to get pen pressure to work via the Brush Presets menu. I keep getting the 'exclamation mark' and it doesn't work. Pressure sensitivity IS working - just not in CS6. Please help!

    Hi,
What operating system are you using?
Have you installed the latest driver from the trust website?

  • How to turn on brush pressure without tablet

    hello,
how i turn on brush pressure without tablet ot tech screen?
    this is my problem:
    "pressure" is disabled.
how i turn on pressure without tablet?

What brush pressure does is dynamically alter the stroke as it is drawn. You may be able to alter the stroke after it is drawn.  Since you aren't describing what sort of alterations you want, there is no way for anyone to provide alternatives.
There is no substitute for the dynamic ability to alter strokes as you draw them, a tablet is required for that ability. But a similar appearance AFTER the stroke is drawn is entirely possible.

  • Problem With Brushes Pressure CS5

    Hello all.
I'm using a Photoshop Cs5 with a Wacom Cintiq 12wx Tablet (I'm using PC with WinXP).
I'm having some problems withe the pressure, it doesn't work on Photoshop, (I tried it on CS3 & CS5), and I did clicked on the Tablet options in PS.
    The pressure just don't responds.
I Think its becuse I can't change the Minimum Diameter in any Brush.
Plus when I change the Control part to Pen Pressure, a little warning sign is appering ( a triangel with an exclamation mark insaid ), how ever when I click on it [to see what the problem is ,nothing happens].
I have to point out that in the Cintiq Tablet Properties it's all fine, the pressure respond(in the meter)
I tried making a different settings for Photoshop, it didn't help. Can any one Pleas help me?

Usually, this is an issue with the wacom driver needing to be updated.
A few people have also found that the Windows tablet settings can also mess things up.

  • Photoshop CS6 Brush pressure sensitivity not working on the Microsoft Surface Pro.

I have just purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro in anticipation of running Photoshop on it.  I installed Photoshop and tried to do some sketches.  I created a new file and started sketching.  I Immediately felt like something was wrong.  I checked my brush settings and saw the pressure sensitivity was not available.  Everytine I tried to turn it on it was marked with an exclamation point.
Does anybody know if Adobe is supporting the new pressure sensitive pen from microsoft, or if there is some sort of setting that I am missing?  I have tried sketchbook pro 2011, and that works amazingly well with the pen.  I hope someone can help me along here, because if this tablet can truely run photoshop, it would be a Game Changer.

Just curious.... has any of you tried the shape dynamics in photoshop and turning on pen pressure?
and in illustrator to modify the size to pressure and variation to maximum? (and of course select that brush preset that you just modified and draw with it using SHIFT+B for blob brush or B for regular brush)
I am also interested in purchasing a Surface pro so please report if this helps.
what I recently discovered in other forums is that Sketchbook Pro works flawlessly in desktop mode. Sketchbook Express in the APP mode doesn't support pressure yet.
there is no official confirmation that the surface pro uses a wacom digitizer, however a few artist friends of mine have gone to the microsoft store... brought their own wacom pens (cintiq 15x pen - older models that works with general tabletpcs) and the pro recognized it. which means that it is a wacom digitizer. it wouldn't make sense if a wacom pen works with a different digitizer board like N-trig.
also read in another forum about adobe using wintab and windows 8 wintab drivers are not there yet.
anyway... I'd be glad to know if this works or not
    thanks!

  • Brush pressure and lag problem with CS4

I've been having a huge problem with Photoshop CS4 and the brushes. Whenever I go to brush, the pressure will turn off and on randomly with each stroke, and it lags horribly. I've installed CS4 on two computers with Windows 7, and both have this problem, but my old computer which had Vista was perfectly fine. I've tried downloading new versions of CS4, turning the OpenGL on and off, updating the GPU, downloading the Windows 7 tablet driver (that made it worst), and a bunch of other things. Nothing has worked, and this problem has been going on for two months. I'm starting to think the only way to fix this problem is by switching back to Vista. Can anyone please help me solve this? Thank you.
My computer is an HP that runs on Windows 7, my Tablet is a Wacom Intuos3, and I have Photoshop CS4 Extended 11.0.2

Others have reported that completely removing the tablet driver(s) first, then installing the very latest from the Wacom web site have made things work.
    Good luck.

  • Where is the brush tool associated with tablets gone to in CS6?

I have a problem right now. Do you know that icon which is next to the brush size icon once you select the brush tool?
That icon once you insert a drawing tablet in so that your drawings can be better with how much pressure you put into it? I forgot the name of it but it does not appear when I put my tablet in.. But it worked in CS5.5.
HELP PLEASE. Without this tool, I basically bought CS6 for no reason as this is the most important thing I need to even begin any work.

Hey there! Thanks for your reply as the whole adobe forum did not bother..
But I already sought out my problem too by going on another forum and basically downloading the program that came with my bamboo tablet.. I left my installation CD at home you see, so I forgot that was what I needed to get the pressure sensitivity thing back. And I got it!
Thanks, and what 'updates' were you talking about?

  • Flash CC 2014 brush pressure bug

Hi, I am using Flash CC 2014 and I have a problem with the brush. When I use the brush with pressure for tablets, it has a lag and the line doesn't appear immediately. When I use the brush with the mouse, it doesn't lag. When I turn off the pressure, the lag disappears. It happens no matter the amount of smoothing. The lag starts after a few minutes of starting Flash, and it goes away when restarting, but after a few minutes it starts to lag again. When slow drawing it does not represent a huge problem, but in fast drawing (like sketches), the lag is annoying and I can't see the drawing while making the line, only after a few seconds.
    Please help.

Not supported? Are you kidding me?!?I
I have a Wacom Intuos5 Touch and use a Wacom mouse with it (in addition to the standard Grip Pen). My problem is worse than the original poster. I have this problem with both my pen and my mouse. The pen is in "pen mode" and the mouse is in "mouse mode," but the problem exists in both modes for both input devices (yes, I tested my mouse in "pen mode," it's not something I'd recommend).
I have no idea what to do about this. I work in 2D film/TV animation, and this renders Flash CC 2014 completely useless to me and my colleagues.
These were "drawn" with a mouse in mouse mode, and a pen in pen mode. The angle and offset of the error seems to depend on the canvas zoom level, but is otherwise random-ish, changing to a random angle, keeping it for a while, then changing it again. I run a multi-monitor setup, and when I move the Flash window from the right-side monitor to the left-side monitor, the direction of the offset flops. It always points up, and toward the center of my two monitors, as if it were a application scaling problem (Windows' DPI settings have been known to cause this kind of problem with some applications, but my setup uses 100% scaling so that shouldn't apply).
I suspected that the angle might have something to do with the rotation angle of my mouse (the Wacom tablet tracks that information), but couldn't get reliable expected behavior when I tested it out.
This whole nonsense reminds me of an error that plagued applications built using the Qt4 framework (such as the VLC video player), which had similar "hit area" problems for Wacom devices (pen and mouse) due to an improperly implemented pen input API (it was fixed in Qt5 by dropping support altogether and treating all input devices as mouse input), but I can't imagine that's what's happening here.
Of course, Flash is registering the initial contact point before flinging it across the screen, so it's a big mystery, and frustrating me to no end.

  • How to set pen pressure for Wacom tablet  in AI if pressure greyed out

Wanted to share how to get pressure sensitive stroke in AICC. Go to "new brush" under brush window, and select "new calligriphic brush". There you will find it's settings, one of which is for pressure. However, it will remain greyed out unless you go to the Wacom tablet properties menu, and add AI to that list(AI must be open-then press the+ sign, and select it from the liset of open applications). Once you see AI in the applications menu, please select it. Then try creating the "new calligriphic brush" once again, and this time the pressure should be available!! Now play around with settings a bit (that's a must is you want a varied line).....took me an hour to figure this out-so hope this helps someone!!!!!

Well, it took me *some* time to get around to work on this, but I succeeded at my first attempt (amazing!), so here is my udev rule (I have followed partly pauldonnelly's suggestion and partly the wiki):
    BUS=="usb", KERNEL=="event*", ATTRS{product}=="CTF-420 V2.0-0", SYMLINK+="tablet", MODE="0664"
Then I have configured my xorg.conf to look for the device on /dev/tablet.
I will put a SOLVED sign on this thread.
    Thanks again, pauldonnelly

  • Brush Pressure in CS6

    Mac OSX 1.4.8
    Monoprice Tablet
    Illustrator CS6
I just read about someone else with this problem, but their solution did not work for me. When going to brush options and choosing calligraphic brush I want to change the option from fixed to pressure, but pressure cannot be selected. I have reinstalled the driver and contacted Monoprice. They told me it had to do with my software settings in Illustrator and that their tablet is compatible with Illustrator CS6. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately that did not work. I know this is something that can be done, that is why this is so frustrating. Idk if I need to get a new tablet or what... I wouldn't think so bc other brushes I can dl have the pressure working, I just cant do that on the round ones already installed or the new ones I want to create.

  • Wacom Tablet Issues with LR 5.6

Ever since I upgrade to LR 5.6, I'm having problems with my wacom tablet (intuos 5 wireless small).  When I use the TAT, as I move up and down the slider moves a couple of numbers and them stops.  If I use my blue tooth mouse, it works just fine.  Also, if I go up to the Histogram and click and drag, nothing at all happens using the tablet, but works just fine with blue tooth mouse.  There are a lot of other issues with rendering and unstable pen action.  I have no issues with the tablet in Photoshop CC - 2014 ACR or any other programs.  It's definitely tied to LR 5.6.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.  Oh, I have uninstalled and re-installed and have the same problem.
    Dennis

I downloaded the driver at Wacom Europe GmbH - Support - Treiber  ran it without the tablet being connected, than plugged in the Intous again. Immediately a new USB-recognition/installation process started (but all customizations were preserved).
That was all. I am not a nerd, just a normal user, so nothing special to report. It just worked out fine.

  • SSL CA Trust Store issue in Android 2.1

Here is one more reason Samsung/Verizon should push Android 2.2. Websites using SSL Certificates from some valid  Certificate AUthorities are throwing SSL Certificate warnings when accessed via Android 2.1. This is because the CA Trust store in Android 2.1 is old and incomplete. It does not contain the full list of trusted CAs that are commonly found in regular desktop browsers like Safari, Chrome, FF and IE. Android 2.2 has a more updated and complete Trusted CA store.
Also, Android 2.1 does not have a published feature for importing CA Certificates (there are some manual workarounds for people who took their phone to the dentist). So, even if you had a valid reason to add a valid CA certificate from a company like Verisign or COMODO or your enterprise to your trust store, you can not do it. So, you have to get used to constantly accepting certificate warnings (which is a security risk in that you may inadvertenty accept a certificate signed by a really invalid/bad CA)
Is anyone aware of a fix for this issue? If not, does Verizon have any plans to address it?
ps: I do not want help for installing client certificates. These are not the same as CA certificates. Android can import client certificates from a URL or from an SD card using Settings->Locations&Security->Credential Storage section.

    They were talking about this
In cryptography and computer security, a root certificate is either an unsigned public key certificate or a self-signed certificate that identifies the Root Certificate Authority (CA). A root certificate is part of a public key infrastructure scheme. The most common commercial variety is based on the ITU-T X.509 standard, which normally includes a digital signature from a certificate authority (CA).
Digital certificates are verified using a chain of trust. The trust anchor for the digital certificate is the Root Certificate Authority (CA).
A certificate authority can issue multiple certificates in the form of a tree structure. A root certificate is the top-most certificate of the tree, the private key of which is used to "sign" other certificates. All certificates immediately below the root certificate inherit the trustworthiness of the root certificate - a signature by a root certificate is somewhat analogous to "notarizing" an identity in the physical world. Certificates further down the tree also depend on the trustworthiness of the intermediates (often known as "subordinate certification authorities").
Many software applications assume these root certificates are trustworthy on the user's behalf. For example, a Web browser uses them to verify identities within SSL/TLS secure connections. However, this implies that the user trusts their browser's publisher, the certificate authorities it trusts, and any intermediates the certificate authority may have issued a certificate-issuing-certificate, to faithfully verify the identity and intentions of all parties that own the certificates. This (transitive) trust in a root certificate is the usual case and is integral to the X.509 certificate chain model.
The root certificate is usually made trustworthy by some mechanism other than a certificate, such as by secure physical distribution. For example, some of the most well-known root certificates are distributed in the Internet browsers by their manufacturers

  • Problem with Diffuse Glow filter PSE mac (Intuit Tablet Issue?)

The problem that I am having is that when I use the diffuse glow filter it is using a "grey" instead of "white" glow.  The program was installed and working fine for weeks until I used my walcom intuit tablet and the diffuse glow filter turned to grey.  As far as I can tell there is no way to change what color the glow is so I am not sure how to fix it.  I tried support at walcom and they claim to have never heard of this issue.  I also have a notebook running Vista and CS3 and the same thing happened to it but I didn't realize it was the tablet until I tried to use the tablet with my new imac for the first time and the same thing happened.
Any ideas?  Anyone else have this problem?

So I found the answer on another thread, I didn't realize that diffuse glow used the color chosen for your background as the color for the glow.  The colors must have swapped when I started using the tablet.  Ooopps! lol
