Brush tool paints lower than where the cursor appears

I just upgraded my computer from an imac PPC, Tiger OS to a MacPro, Intel, Leopard OS. I am using PS CS4. Since upgrading my computer, when I use the brush tool, the painting with the brush appears LOWER than the actual brush tool (by a few millimeters). This is driving me crazy, as I cannot accurately use the brush on anything. I have to guess where the brush will paint. This happens with both my Kensington Mouse and Wacom Tablet. I just updated my Wacom Driver (Intuos 2), again, with no luck. I did not uninstall the previous driver, however...and not sure if I should. Thank you for any help! Regina

Problem with CS4 brush tool "paint inside mode"

When I use the Flash CS4 brush tool in "Paint Inside" mode it erases part of the strokes around shapes. For rectangles it erases the stroke on the top and left hand side where the brush head crosses it, though it never seems to affect the other sides. The effect is less consistant with ovals, but it breaks the strokes at some points. I am using Flash CS4 version 10.0.2 on Windows XP, and I have checked for program updates through the Help menu. Here are two examples:
If I understand right, the brush tool shouldn't be changing the stroke anywhere in this mode. I would be grateful for any help.

This has existed for a very long time in Flash, at least back to version 8. I'm not too sure, but it certainly only affects two out of the four sides of a square. There is a bug on this, so I will send it back for review.

I now have the pallete on the right side of my screen. But, I am unable to change the color of the brush. I move the eye dropper over red and click on it. A panel comes saying 'Pure Red', I click ok but the brush color does not change.

Why don't images place where the cursor is?

I am using Page 13 with Mavericks.
Anyway, when inserting an image into a document (by either copy/pasting or going to Insert > Choose) the image just seems to plant itself in some really random area of the page. It never, ever goes where my cursor is. If there are other images on the page it can mess up the entire document becaue the images seem to 'float' rather than sit within the document (if that makes sense).
How do I change this so the image goes where I put it, and not where it wants? It's very frustrating, as my work requires I insert images very often, and it's making my job difficult.

I guess because that is the way it is programmed. I never been able to get my images in Pages 08 or 09 where I want them when they are floating. Sometimes I can press the Cmd key and get the images inline but then I do have to have lines to start with. It seems it might be the same case with Pages 5 but I haven't tried.

I need to have the possibility to create/change values (insert or update data back into the database), dynamically or by typing, in some columns of the physical DB that are mapped in a report request, and that new or changed values could be used as a filter columns in another report request.
So, I have created a new report request in a Subject Area where a certain column of the request result could be editable to make possible change the present value and then write it back in the physical DB.
I have implemented for the column name ‘MOV_VALUE’ the value interaction type format Write Back, and every time I changed any value on this column it updates all rows with this same value from the table ‘MOVEMENTS’.

   I need to set some values in table control for the fields where i clicked the cursor. Actually i am using the below code but its not working...

For example I placed the cursor in 3 row at the plant column in my table control. So only 3 row plant value has to be set.
Can anybody tell me how to read the index when a cursor is placed at a particular row.

Brush Tool and Layer frames on the timeline ?

Im making a animation.
So far i only have 2 frames.
I made my first main frame. Which went fine. However when i made my second frame and used the brush tool. The drawing goes on both the 1st and 2nd frames when i only want it to be on the 2nd frame.
Hope that is clear.
I there anyway to stop this.

Trackpad - single finger resting selects the item where the cursor sits

Recently without any upgrades or new software loaded, I now find that when I use single finger on the touchpad (without pressing - just touching) and if I hold my finger for more than two seconds and then remove, the item that the cursor was on is selected. This is just as if I was pressing the touchpad but only if my finger is held for more than the two seconds.
I have read on here to change the "point & click" options within system preferences/trackpad and then restarting, this appears to have fixed the same problem for everyone else but not for me. I have tried with tap and click on and off (currently off).
Any ideas?

Well, Apple did fix my trackpad. They think it had to do with capacitors underneath. And they replaced my keyboard at the same time, since the S and L keys were worn and they said that was under guarantee as well.
It was not an altogether pleasant experience though. Even though I was promised same day drop-it-off-pick-it-up service a really nasty "genius bar" person said it was impossible to do the same day and that the other person shouldn't have promised that and it was getting really ugly. I had to go into native-New-Yorker mode (which I hate doing) and said I wasn't leaving until they kept their promise.
Eventually they called a manager who made sure they would keep to their word and they ended up doing a very good job, even replacing my "marware" protective pad.
So all's well that ends well, and I got good service in the end. But I always strongly dislike having to "fight for service". It should just be something that is a matter of course with Apple.
I hope they get rid of that one particular genius bar person though. He is bad news.

When I use brush tool and click any where ... I find that line has been drawn from unspecified point from the bottom to the point I clicked .. !!

Note : This Problem has occurred with Genius Tablet ... not with the mouse ..

This issue is reproducible on some specific devices only and is being investigated and tracked internally.Any progress on this will be conveyed.
Meanwhile if it is not a problem for you could you please uninstall the driver for tablet and Flash(Use CC cleaner tool) and re-install the latest version of drivers for your tablet and also Flash Pro CC 2014 from Creative cloud. reboot the system and check if the issue happens??Because most of the times updation of the driver has helped resolve the issues related to brush.
