Could be any of these, but I would start with uninstalling the SoundFlower thing.
com.avatron.AVExFramebuffer          1.6.5
com.Cycling74.driver.Soundflower          1.5.1
com.epson.driver.EPSONProjectorAudio          1.30
com.avatron.AVExVideo          1.6.5
You should uninstall all of those and test it out. If no kernel panics, then add them back one-by-one and test each one.
If you still get kernel panics with them all uninstalled, then it is likely a hardware problem.
There has been some issues reported with the NVidia drivers on certain Macs.

    Hi Jsnc74,
    Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
    I know that kernel panics can be both frustrating and concerning. In this situation, I would recommend the troubleshooting steps outlined in the attached article. The Troubleshooting a recurring kernel panic section should provide you with some great information.
    OS X: About kernel panics
    Cheers,

    You'll probably have the paste the entire kernel panic here instead.

  • Macbook Pro crash on MtLion - crash report added (BSD process changes regularly)

    Hi everyone,
    I have a Macbook Pro (mid2007, 2,4ghz - ram upgraded to 4gb from 2) that is crashing constantly, has been happening since Mtlion and I see that it's been happening with quite a few different models that were released after too. I had a corrupted (needs replacement) sign from disk utility so i tried disk warrior and no repair possible so replaced the drive with a new one, and also reinstalled apps and files from scratch (didn't recover from TM backup). But I am still getting a crash sign. I thought it might be the RAM as it is apparently one of the major issues, I tried Tech Tool Pro and Rember (as heard TTP isn't as reliable) but they both say the RAM is working fine.
    Now onto the actual issue: My mac randomly freezes for about 10 secs in the middle of browsing (both chrome and safari, Im not even using chrome now, only safari) and after the freeze the screen turns off, then turns on again in a faint grey screen (not the grey veil of death) and says "computer crashed because of a problem...click any button". Now I have read in countless forums (and i hate and apologise for starting a new thread) but I really believe that my hardware isn't an issue, but I cannot find the culprit in the software, so I was really hoping someone could help me out with this, as mentioned on the title, the BSD process of the Crash Report tends to change between "kernel_task", safari plugins, and when I was using chrome "Chrome HE" (of course, as mentioned, since I stopped using chrome i don't get this one now).
    Here's the latest crash report, thanks in advance for help everyone:

  • Get the current thread

    Hello,
    Thread suspension is an important operation for get the thread stack informations (i.e. local variables...). JPDA provide three ways to suspend threads ThreadReference.suspend(),VirtualMachine.suspend(),or through events by setSuspendPolicy(int policy) method which suspend threads to the requested event occurs in the target VM.
    But, how can I know the current thread after Threads vm suspensions?
    By events we can deduce it, when MethodEntryEvent occur in the target vm through thread () method.
    But, what about the others tow Thread suspension methods?
    For example:
    //after suspension through vm.suspend().
    Virtual machine vm =;
    List Threads = vm.allThreads();This list Returns a list of the currently running threads. But I dont find any method to know which the current thread from this list is? The index or the name of this current thread.
    Later, what is the difference between ThreadReference.suspend (), VirtualMachine.suspend ().which one is preferable for suspend a running application, then extract the state of the current thread and save it in an object,for restoring its state later?
    please i need an answer,
    regards.

    You need a profiler. I can't recommend any, but do a google search.

  • Can I execute C code in current Thread(process)?

    Hi all,
    I want to execute a Linux command within current Thread, but Runtime.exec() will start a new process to execute the command specified.
    Does JNI can execute any system command or any C program in current Thread?
    BTW, I tried JNA, following code will start new process too:
    public interface CLibrary extends Library {
    CLibrary INSTANCE = (CLibrary)Native.loadLibrary((Platform.isWindows() ? "msvcrt" : "c"),CLibrary.class);
    void printf(String format, Object... args);
    void system(String cmd);
    public static void main(String[] args) {
         CLibrary.INSTANCE.system("sleep 5s");
    Can I execute the Linux command within current Thread with JNA?
    Any anwser will be appreciated!! Thanks!!

    Hi sabre150,
    Thank you very much!
    In fact, the reason I want native code run in current process is that native code will lock some system resource(such as COM port), I want to manipulate that resource in Java code after calling native code. (native code may run in a new thread for a long time, in the same time, Java code may need to manipulate the resource in other thread)
    It is not import about whether start a new thread or not, but I really want the native code will be executed in a same process, so OS will not prevent me to manipulate that resource.
    Is there any smart solution to do this?
    Thanks!

  • Java.lang.IllegalMonitorStateException: current thread not owner

    Hello,
    my program runs an exe that doesn't return a zero when it's finished, therefore, I can't use a waitFor().
    To solve this problem i look at the length of the file which has to be manipulated by this exe every 200ms and see whether it's length stopped changing. This should mean it's job is done...
    But using this code:
    public void run(String filename)
              System.out.println("start runtime");
              Runtime rt = Runtime.getRuntime();
              String[] callAndArgs = { "lssvmFILE.exe", filename };
              try
                   Process child = rt.exec(callAndArgs);
                   child.wait(200);
                   filesize = 0;
                   while(filesize != file.length())                            {
                        filesize = file.length();
                        child.wait(200);
                   //child.waitFor();
                   System.out.println("Process exit code is:   " + child.exitValue());
              catch(IOException e)
              {     System.err.println( "IOException starting process!");}
              catch(InterruptedException e)
              {     System.err.println( "Interrupted waiting for process!");}
              System.out.println("end run");
         }i get this on my System.out:

    Here's the code:
    I already found out that the sleep function indeed caused this exe to run so slow. It seems that everything stops when sleep is used. By setting the delay to 2ms the duration is satisfactory (some seconds).
    I also tried skipping the sleep and just using a while, but that ended in an endless loop. Setting the delay to 1ms lead to a stop when the filelength was 0 (i guess that was on the moment that the exe cleared the file and prepared to write) so it seems to me that 2ms is quite a good trade off.
    this part of the code is preceeded by writing the data to the file and afterwards the new data will be read in again...
         //Close the stream
              outFileStream.close();
         //Run lssvmFILE.exe to compute alpha & b
              long originalfilesize = file.length();
              run(filename);
              //wait untill job done
              Thread thread = new Thread();
              long filesize = file.length();
              try{thread.sleep(2);}
              catch(InterruptedException e){};
              while(filesize != file.length() || originalfilesize ==file.length())
                   filesize = file.length();
                   try{thread.sleep(2);}
                   catch(InterruptedException e){};
         //Set up Instream (read from file)

    I can only guess at the likely cause. Previously (jws 1.2 and earlier) every web start process would kick off a jvm for the web start client to process the jnlp, this would in turn then kick off a second jvm to run the actual application.
    1.4.2 has changed this slightly to improve startup time etc.. the second jvm process doesn't happen, and now the web start app runs from the same jvm that the web start client has started for itself. This is why the integration dialog is such a problem with modal apps in 1.4.2 -- they're sharing (and conflicting with) the same event thread.
    At least this is what I think is happening ~ I'm very sure but cant be 100% certain ..because much like the autodownloads Sun haven't published any of the source for 1.4.2 web start (shouldn't this be part of the shipped sdk source these days?).
    I guess this change breaks your previous class-loading assumptions.

  • Start as Service - process name confilcts

    Lookuout v5.1 running on Windows XP SP2
    We have Lookout set to run as a service. When we log onto Windows then attempt to open the Lookout procees file we get a "Cannot open file: process name confilcts with that of currently running process." error. The only thing I can find related in the help file is the requirement to Log On to Lookout, but I get the same error after logging on to Lookout then trying to open the process. Any idea what I am missing here?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ed

    I believe that you get that error because the process is already running as service.
    The user interface should appear once the service is started. The problem is why you can't see the user interface when it is running.
    Lookout 5.1 starts up as service on my xp computer without any problem. It's running just like I launch lookout.exe.
    If you start the service manually, will lookout start up and user interface appear?

  • Process Statics from Process Name

    I Want to capture the current process details of JavaServer1 and JavaServer2 for 10Hr into outputlog in desire location. but every after 4 Hrs application server getting restarted as functionality.
    I am facing problem while using prstat command to get the process statics with "-p" option.
    for that I have written the small combination of command statement to get the process ID/PID through name of process as below.
    $ps |grep XYZ|grep "ZEE"| grep JavaServer1 | awk '{ print $1 }'
    #17763
    $ps |grep XYZ|grep "ZEE"| grep JavaServer1 | awk '{ print $1 }'
    #17763
    where XYZ is user Name ; ZZZ is Environment name; JavaServer1 and JavaServer2 is processNames; output values are PID of that process.
    Using PIDs for capturing process statics for both as below.
    $prstat -p 17763,17724 >> Output.log
    In Log fine below content getting captured
    PID USERNAME  SIZE   RSS STATE  PRI NICE      TIME  CPU PROCESS/NLWP
    17763 ZYX   345M  142M sleep   59    0   0:00:29 0.0% java/1
    17724 ZYX   630M  308M sleep   59    0   0:00:11 0.0% java/1
    Above both process ids are for JavaServer1 and JavaServer2 which are getting changed after restarting the Server after 4 Hrs and output of file getting blank.
    To Serarch the PID with Process name and collect in log, for that I have written below statements.
    $prstat -p `ps |grep XYZ|grep "ZEE"|grep -v grep| grep JavaServer1 awk '{ print $1 }'`
       PID USERNAME  SIZE   RSS STATE  PRI NICE      TIME  CPU PROCESS/NLWP
    17763 ZYX   345M  142M sleep   59    0   0:00:29 0.0% java/1
    above statements are working for single process name.
    but while updating another process name in the same statement then getting output for last statement included instade of both PIDs.
    $prstat -p `ps |grep XYZ|grep "ZEE"|grep -v grep| grep JavaServer1 awk '{ print $1 }';ps |grep XYZ|grep "ZEE"|grep -v grep| grep JavaServer2 awk '{ print $1 }'`
       PID USERNAME  SIZE   RSS STATE  PRI NICE      TIME  CPU PROCESS/NLWP
    17724 ZYX   630M  308M sleep   59    0   0:00:11 0.0% java/1
    Please help to get process details of both the process names still if server got restarted.

    The e-mail can be sent without any problem regarding of ALEREMOTE executing the process chain.
    Check if you can receive e-mails from SO00 transaction doing a test.
    Check your services and connections in SCOT transaction.
    Make sure your user id in su01 transaction has the e-mail right configured.
