BSOD Then Reboot Over and Over

I've had my X200 XP SP3 since October 2008. I just started having a problem where I get the BSOD displayed for about 5 seconds, and then it reboots. The BSOD will occur even if I just boot up but do not even log in to Windows. I do not get a safe mode option when pressing F8. The Think Vantage blue button will bring up Rescue and Recovery if I press it when starting up, but it does not function after I have logged in to Windows. The BSOD occurs about 3-4 mins after Windows starts regardless of what I am doing. I do get an MS error window without an error number or message.It say:

Does anyone know what I have to change so the blue screen will display long enough to capture the message?

I called lenovo support and talked to xxxxxxxxx .....VERY helpful. Of course the reason I got the reboot after the blue screen failure was my system setting to reboot on system failure.
I went to Help and Support, Pick a Task, Undo Changes to a previous working state, (which was last wednesday 8/18). My system seemed to work fine until I started installing MS updates. I got the same blue screen when installing Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition Service Pack 3 (KB955706). I tried installing it a couple more times and got the blue screen - stop code f4 - each time.
I'm just bypassing that update for now.

After installing the (2005-1-14) VIA Chipset 4in1 Drivers on my K7T Turbo Ver 3 system (Windows/2000 SP4, Award BIOS 3.6) I got the following blue screen:

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check you hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.
Refer to your Getting Started manual for more information on troubleshooting Stop errors.
1. I logged into Windows/2000 via "Safe Mode", got the same error above.
2. I then rebooted with the Windows/2000 cd, selected Repair. Went through the Repair process, had the emergency disk. Still got the above blue screen after rebooting.
3. I then rebooted again in "Safe Mode", got the blue screen error.
4. I then rebooted again in "Safe Mode with Networking". got the blue screen error.
5. I then rebooted with the Windows/2000 cd, selected Repair. Went through the Repair process and DID NOT use the emergency disk. This time the system got to the Windows logo screen (before log in prompt) and then reboots over and over. No blue screen.
6. On next reboot, I hit F8 for "Safe Mode". "Starting Windows ..." appears on screen, then system reboots over and over.
Any suggestions?

To get the pc to stop rebooting over and over, I ran chkdsk /R.
Next, I booted with the Windows/2000 CD and selected to Repair.
I tried just doing the Repair, but that did not work.
I tried to log in after doing the chkdsk /R and that did not work.
I then get the blue screen when trying to login to W2K, but was able to login "Safe Mode".
I removed the VIA drivers using Device Manager:
VIA Bus Master IDE Controller,
VIA CPU to AGP Controller,
VIA Tech PCI to ISA bridge,
VIA Tech Power Manager controller.
I then clicked on the "Scan for hardware changes" icon. This added back drivers. Rebooted. Got the blue screen with errors in my first posting.
This is a little progress since the machine is not stuck in a "reboot loop" like above and I can log in to "Safe Mode".
Does anyone think that upgrading from Windows/2000 to WindowsXP will fix this? (Does WindowsXP have these drivers in pnp?)

IPhone 4 apps not updating that require wifi. They get only so far and then start over again. Now they won't even attempt to update. Given the 'done' or 'retry' option and they're still unusable. I've tried logging out of app store, rebooting, and reset.

Update and got 3/4 done then started over again. now im given the 'done/retry' option shortly after attempting an update. I've rebooted, reset(lost all my phone contacts thanks very much....), logged out of app store....
Perhaps its the wifi I'm using (cruise ship worker here), and will try again on a land wifi signal before worrying a lot. any help would be great.
In-store helper had me double click home and clear out all opened apps and that worked then , but not now.

Also, just as a note, I restored my iphone last night, and it has made no difference.
One last thing... On itunes, when i click 'info' on apps that are said to be under my friends account (ie they will only update when he is logged in), it says that i purchased them under my account, yet it won't let me update them.

IOS 6 rebooting over and over

I have successfully downloaded and installed iOS 6 onto my iPod Touch 4, according to iTunes.
However, it is in eternal rebooting, rebooting, rebooting mode, endlessly without finishing a boot. The screen goes white and the boot starts from scratch all over again. It bleeps every time it reconnects to my Mac & iTunes, so it's not dead.
I have reset it to start a new boot, but it then continues on into eternal reboot mode. It looks like I have to restore what I had previously. Not good.

Oddly, after I performed the reset, it did the reboot, reboot, reboot (3x) then resolved itself and TaDa! I am now fine. I'm uncertain what was the problem. I check the amount of free space, and apparently that was not the cause. I have kept it connected to my Mac and iTunes the entire time. I was about to perform a restore, checked its screen and it's now happy! OK!

When i plug the USB for my iPad into my computer it will connect then disconnect over and over again untill i wiggle the usb around alot. This is happening to all my ports. But not on the other computer.

If you have a spare cable, try using that. But the fact that this doesn't happen on your other computer (I assume using the same old cable) leads me to conclude that something else is at work. Maybe even the "bad" computer.

We are fellow users here on these forums. Have you tried logging out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then logged in and seeing if it then works ?

I am trying to burn DVDs from iPhoto slideshows. My pictures number in the hundreds and we know that iPhoto captures 99 and then "starts over". This plays fine from the Mac Book but glitches arise on the DVD when playing it on a DVD player. Any suggsts

Has anyone heard or tried an app called Vilisoft? I read good things but I am not sure if it will do what I want.

Then use multipel 99 picture slideshows.
You can have up to 8 or 9 slideshows per menu. If you add a sub menu reduce that by 1 and add 8 more to the sub menu. The top menu can have links to up to 8 or so submenus (depends on the theme) and each submenu can have up to 8 or so slideshows.
However, converting a very large slideshow to a QT movie as Terence suggested does not envoke the 99 slide limit in iDVD. It just becomes a single video/movie file. So you should not have a problem with exporting at the large size, 720 x 540,
and dragging the resulting file into the iDVD menu being sure to avoid any drop zones.

Reset the PRAM
Reinstall the operating system from the dvd (you will not loose your data)

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore.

If I'm right about that, I'm still not really clear at all about what you're doing. Where are you importing these songs and albums from? Is it existing songs files and if so, what format are they in?

Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.

Clean Reinstall of 10.5 and then copy over settings?

My hard disk has a problem and will probably be replaced. I have the data cloned on a backup drive.
What I would like to do is to do a clean install of Mac OX 10.5 and then copy over the applications and user preferences, settings, etc. Is there an easy or straightforward way to do this? I could start from scratch with the new system, but I like my settings, etc.
Btw, I used Carbon Copy Cloner to back up my data.
