BSOD when using FF. Have reinstalled twice. Is there a fix yet? This seems to be a common problem with users of W7 32 bit & 64 bit.
I get the blue screen within 10 seconds of getting on the internet. This does not happen with IE. I have upgraded my graphics card, I have all of the latest windows updates and Fire Fox updates, I have reinstalled the OS and I have reinstalled Fire Fox twice. My platform is W7 32 bit. I will add that Fire Fox crashes on a fresh install of the OS with no apps, no other installed software, no printers or other devices connected, only Fire Fox and IE are installed, so I have ruled out software conflicts. I have also ruled out bad ram and my graphics card as this only happens when I'm on the net using Fire Fox.
I believe this is a compatibility issue with Fire Fox's latest update. Anyone agree, disagree, have any thoughts, please share. Thanks.
Firefox is what is called a [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_space User Space Application], ''(for application software)'' it alone cannot cause a BSOD. Bluescreen can only be caused by Kernel Space applications (like your Firewall and most device drivers). While these applications may have hooks into Firefox that are buggy, Firefox by itself can't cause a bluescreen.

It helped earlier but it has come back again. I don't know what to do. I tried what you said earlier but this time even this is not working either. And quite intrestingly my phone won't turn off. I turn it off, it goes off and then restarts on its own and then keep giving the same message again and again.
Could it be a charging cable, is there any chance that the cable which was working fine one day could turn to be "incompatible" with iphone the other day????????

Emails saved in my Saved folder are deleted when I click Empty Trash! Is there a fix for this?
What more details are needed to answer this question? I put some emails in my Saved folder. However, when I want to delete just the emails I have read, the Saved emails are deleted along with the ones I want deleted. If they're saved, why would they be deleted? I want them saved!

My hard drive runs continuously when 4.0.1 is running is there a fix for this?
My operating system is XP, after firefox has run for a bit over an hour the hard drive runs continuously and switching tabs take minutes. I usually have about 6 to 10 tabs.
Sorry, Google has stopped development of the Gears plug-in, and will not update it to support newer browsers like Firefox 4. They have announced plans to eventually migrate their sites from Gears to web standards like HTML5, but they haven't completed that work yet:

When I invoke Itunes I get an "error 7 (Windows 193)" message. I have reinstalled twice and get the same message. I have Windows 7 64 bit machine. Can someone help?
Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:

(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?

I think my ITunes has crashed- I have reinstalled twice but still get same error message 6034 and Error7 Windows,was told it might be library files not ITunes directly.Should use restore point, but I've never done that before and is permanent...don't want to make matters worse or screw up everything else with restore button....It is restore point from Nov. Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

When using an external (ergonomic mouse) is there any way to get the wheel to scroll one full page at a time? Much appreciated.
I can't use the keyboard to scroll. I need to keep my hand on the mouse, otherwise I'd never get anything done. Since I have no problem getting Firefox to scroll one page at a time, and I'm constantly jumping between 3 browsers, it would be nice to be able to scroll a full page at a time in Safari, just like I can in Firefox. When using Firefox, the tool bar above the "compose mail" window is missing. I cannot change fonts, use bold, italics, underline, change colors, align margins, etc. When using Internet Explorer the bar IS there but I prefer Firefox, as it is much faster. My operating system is Vista.

... and in both cases, Bold and Italic is greyed out... (bit hard to see in the second screenshot, but it is, honest!)
The mail message is def set as Rich Text, which you can see in the first screenshot, as the option to Make Plain Text is there... -
