BSOD with NVSNPU.SYS

I also having BSOD involving NVSNPU.SYS. on a Neo4 Plat.
I installed another NIC because I'm testing Darwin x86 and the nVidia NIC is not recognized by Darwin, couriously I disable the nVidia NIC on WinXP and enable the SMC 1211TX (Realtek 8139 compatible) and edonkey2000 found more sources and have less problems with the Realtek 8139 NIC driver, with the nVidia NIC I have a lot of LowID and diconnection from servers.
I will try the new nVidia drivers, also I'll try the onboard Gigabit NIC.

Hi,
Was there ever a solution found for this? I'm getting the same BSOD using the
nidmgpib.sys driver (v1.5).
The company we're working with says upgrading is not a quick fix, as they have
a lot invested in this driver.

Constant BSOD with nidgpibk.sys when receiving GPIB commands

Greetings,
I have a mainframe with a PXI GPIB card installed. I'm controlling the mainframe with my PC using GPIB and very frequently, the mainframe crashes (BSOD) listed nidgpibk.sys as the culprit. Them mainframe manufacturer says they can only use NI-Device 1.1 since it's the only version compatible with their system.
Is nigpibk.sys part of the NI-Device install? Is there any way to debug or fix this problem?

Verifier BSODs with ncioctl.sys

Hello,
when I start verifier (standard setting) and select ncioctl.sys, I always get a BlueScreen, with different PCs.
I am testing Novell Client 2 SP3 for Windows 7 IR8 and IR9.
Is this "normal" behaviour?

Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 BSOD 0x1a with CLFS.sys

Hello,
I've got a BSOD on a Windows Server 2008 R2 with SP1 installed. Analyzed the dump and could
see a Bug-check of 0x1a which means "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT".
Further analysis on this dump shows me, that this probably is caused by the CLFS.sys, which
is the Common Log File System Driver. This CLFS.sys is installed with date:

I have now searched trough MS Support pages and resources and also the Internet, but I found no
information about an update for this or a newer version. It's nearby impossible to find newer versions
for specific files in i.e. Hot-fixes.
Do you know this issue with the 0x1a BSOD and CLFS.sys and/or do you know a newer version ?
Any help would be very appreciated!

HP Pavilion DV6; Black Screen & Atikmpag.sys BSOD with external Monitor

Hello Guys.
I have HP Pavilion DV6 Core i7 with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 Graphics Card. Two weeks ago, I started getting continous Atikmpag,sys BSODs. The operating system also started giving me warnings about the hardrive. After a few days, the BSODs got more frequent. Then one day, I was doing normal stuff on my PC and the Display Driver crashed. Instead of recovering, the PC froze. I forced restart my PC but it got worse. The display of my laptop went black. I connected the laptop to external monitor which detected the display. When I tried to load the windows, it started giving me the Atikmpag.sys BSOD on the start up. Now the operating system works fine in the Safe Mode but with nothing on the laptop's screen. The soultions I have tried so far are.
-Reinstalled the windows thrice
-Removed the drivers and installed the updated ones a bunch of times.
-Rolled back the bios to an earlier version
-Removed the hardrive and tried to load it from an operating system installed on external flash drive
-Tried loading the PC with linux on external flash drive
-Opened the laptop and cleaned it thoroughly
-Removed all the components and plugged them one by one.
-Removed the old Atikmpag.sys in system32 folder and expanded it with the latest ones.
-Installed every thing fresh from HP website
None of these tricks have given me any luck yet. The only way, I could use the operating system in normal mode, is to delete the atikmpag.sys file in safe mode and then log on back in normal mode. I also analysed the minidump file through window debugger and it says that atikmpag.sys is causing this crash with the TDR message. I did all these with an external monitor as the display of the laptop is black since that day.
Below are the detailed specs of my laptop.

I grasp that you are getting a black screen with the error message " Atikmpag.sys".

E2500 Wireless Causing Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with My Company's VPN (AT&T Net Client)

Since recently replacing my home router with a Linksys E2500, I have been getting Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with my Company's VPN (AT&T). It only happens when I am running wireless with my E2500. If I am hooked up to my E2500 through a ethernet cable it doesn't happen. I have updated the BIOS on my Lenovo Thinkpad T410 and ensured all of my drivers are up to date. I am 99.9% sure the problem is caused by my Linksys E2500 because I have used my laptop on other wireless routes at work and school and never get this problem. I am also ensured that my E2500 has the current firmware installed and upgraded my Company's VPN to the most current level to no avail.
I am getting DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Blue Screen of Death in agnfilt.sys. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The symptoms you describe could be symptomatic of a variety of things to include hardware/software issues, overheating caused by a failed processor fan, bad memory (RAM), failing or underpowered power supply, CPU overheating, motherboard, video card, faulty or unsigned device drivers, CMOS battery going bad, BIOS and firmware problems, dirty hardware components, programs hanging or unresponsive in the background, and even malware. If the computer is overheating, it usually begins to shutdown/restart on a more regular basis.
If the machine is only crashing at home after establishing a connection but not at work when establishing a connection, then its probably an issue with your network configuration or something (i.e. wireless adapter) causing a conflict and not a malware issue.
The DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error is usually due to a bad driver or faulty/incompatible hardware or software. This error condition means that a kernel-mode process or driver tried to access a memory location to which it did not have permission, or at a kernel Interrupt ReQuest Level (IRQL) that was too high.

Cant update video drivers on my dv6 3124er,often reboots, and also bsod with bugcode usb driver

i have native win7 enterprise on my 3124er
also i haven't made any changes in a native disk space (c - system, d - recovery)
when i trying to update videodriver (radeon 5650 mobility), it looks like normal installation, but driver has an old version
also, notebook gets very hot in a small period if a time, so i bought cooling stand, so i can play games
today i have a nice reboot when played battlefield 3, after a loading of new map
after this reboot, i started bf3 one more time, and after chrome opened battlelog - one more reboot
it's absolutely disgusting me
also, sometimes 3124 have an interesting trouble - all usb devices are stopping (i have usb mouse, audiocard and cooling stand) and after few mins i have a BSOD with BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER
also, when i watching flash videos in social network "http://vkontakte.ru", sometimes i have a bug like a blinking first frame of video mixed with green frame, that switching very fast. videobug on youtube like a previous, but there is a freeze of notebook, then display blinks and i have a inscription in tray "videodriver amd stopped to request and was rebooted" (dont know correct in english, so i writed a translation of russian text). after second try to watch something on youtube i got freeze and BSOD of atikmpag.sys. thank to God, there's not all the videos are not working, some of them i can watch

using shaman's methods, i think, i have done something good in my trouble
version in device manager is still old, but videos are playing normally and battlefield 3 dont scold me because my driver version still 10.18

Itunes BSOD with ipod attached

Alright, I just got my ipod yesterday but I haven't been able to get any songs on it at all. The problem is anytime I hook up the ipod video to the usb port (I have tried all my available ports) windows seems to read the ipod fine but as soon as you start itunes you get a BSOD error 0x000023 (which has to do with some sort of fat file system fastfat.sys, the file system of the ipod). Now I have never had problems with this and my computer at all so I decided to head to a few other computers and try it, it does the same thing BSOD with the 0x000023 error. So I figure it has to do something with the ipod, diagnostic mode tests all work fine though. I have tried installing and reinstalling itunes several times. Anyone have any suggestions?

That's what it was in the process of doing before this happened. It was working perfectly fine with Itunes but I decided to do the restore option to whipe it clean and start over, waited about 2 hours, it seemed Itunes had frozen so I decided to reboot my computer. The Ipod seems like all the folders are working perfectly fine. I would try to reformat it again but I can't get it into Itunes to get to the restore fuction again without it BSODing again.

BSOD in ctaud2k.sys

I'm searching here for a reason of periodic BSODs in Windows 7. After enabling the driver verifier (verifier.exe) for all non-Microsoft drivers on this machine i've started?to get?BSODs just right before playing a little music before login window is appeard. ctaud2k.sys is crashed with 04x000000C4 error with F6 code.
Can someone try verifier.exe and confirm this? You'll have to use safe boot after to remove this checking. But, please, do this only if you know what are you doing
P.s: i've tried both available versions?of the drivers for Audigy Platinum Ex and Windows 7 x64

When is Creative going to put out a SIGNED windows driver, instead of assuring your customers only a BSOD with unsigned CTAUD2K.sys?
I guess this is just another example of customer contempt by Creative. Everyone who purchased a sound card paid serious coin for the honor of having a card that has not worked since MS installed SP on Vista . This is not an impossible task. While I am buying a new custom PC, given your pathetic service record, this is the last place I will look when buying a new sound card.

IPod Touch gives BSOD with iTunes 8 and Windows Vista

For almost a year I have used my iPod Touch (v1.1.3) and Nano with Windows Vista and iTunes almost perfectly. This was until last week when I upgraded to v8.
Now iTunes still works well with the Nano but i get the BSOD when I try and plug in the Touch. I have never had the BSOD with Vista until now.
I have read that alot of other people are having a similar problem. Is there a fix to this? New driver?
Please tell me Apple are aware of this problem and generating a fix if its not already done.

I have a similar problem, with my new iPod Touch crashing an XP Professional setup. It's worth noting that the Apple article also talks about potential USB conflicts with other devices on the system that might have bad drivers. They say the solution, if that is the fault, is to make sure all your USB drivers are good. I'll try that, by a process of elimination, before re-installing iTunes (as I thought I had the latest version and I don't have Vista). I'll come back here later to report the outcome.
(serious if your iPod crashed your PC - can't even charge its battery ! )

Problem accessing SQL Developer with user sys

Hi Experts;
I'm working with Oracle 10G, in Solaris 10, The DB apparently is working properly, but I can not access the DB thru SQL Developer. When I try to acccess with user sys, and I enter de password, in oracle role I select sysdba, when I choose connect I get this error message:
ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
However, I can connect with other user without any problem.
I was connecting directly in the server, with sqlplus /as sysdba and I changed the password for user sys, but still the problem continues.
What is wrong with this. I got the same problem if try to connect thru OEM.

First, I'm completely sure I'm using the correct password, to be sure I changed the password thru sqlplus.
I'm using tns connection, btw, with the same connection, I can connect, but with other user.
I was trying again, however, with the same results previous explained.
But also I have the same problen when I tried to connect to OEM, and I was trying to stop the dbconsole, and found this:

Apparently, there is problem with the tnsnames. When I see the tnsnames in SQL DEVELOPER I see this: YAWIDBLA

INS0009: Unable to connect to the database with user SYS

Hi all,
I'm trying to create an OWB repository with OWB repository assistant (10.2.0.2.) on a 10.2.0.1. database (windows XP platform). I get the following error every time I fill in the connect info for the SYS user:
INS0009: Unable to connect to the database with user SYS. java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
I can connect to the database (sqlplus sys/<password>@orcl as sysdba) and the OS user is in the ora_dba group. Also checked the database parameters remote_login_passwordfile (= EXCLUSIVE) and O7_DICTIONARY_ACCESSIBILITY=TRUE.
Does anyone know what the problem is? Any help is appreciated.

Ok I found the problem myself, I used the wrong sys password :-(. I thought the password I used to logon in sqlplus was right (sqlplus sys/<password>@orcl as sysdba) but the password doesn't matter when you logon as sysdba! So I altered the password for the user sys and now I can continue the steps of the repository assistant.

Have you used the "Role" drop-down to "SYSDBA"? - if not, you get the ORA-01017 error.

The error is thrown for the CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER and also comes up when creating the rest 1st, logging of and logging in again.
As it seems to be a serious error (I'd never expect it to show) and I don't now how to solve it, I wrote you this bug report.
I'm on Win7 Pro and using SQL Developer 3.0.04. Oracle version installed is:

Error with script SYS.<...>Using sysdba connections for schemas is strongly discouraged.
Creating tables in the system tablespace that have no relation to the sys and system schemas brings its own set of admin headaches, sysdba should only be used to shutdown or startup an instance.
Or if there is a specific SYS object that needs to have permissions granted that cannot be done via a user with the DBA role privilege (i.e. SYSTEM), that should be the only time a sysdba connection is needed.
Also, beginning with 11g the pl/sql for setting a column with a sequence value can be done directly, no 'select ... into ... from dual;' needed.

Cant get connectivity by connecting ethernet cord to 360 to laptop with link sys internet

can sum1 help me i got a 360 like 2 weeks ago got live subscription and since my link sys router WRT54GS is in the other room i was goin to connect an ethernet cable to my laptop and then to my 360. my laptop that has internet from my link sys router wired WRT54GS connection. i seen people connect to live this way but only a few people. I contacted 360 support about this they said im sorry we cannot help you we arel only aloud to tell you to buy the 100$ wireless 360 adapter. Which is a rip off because i heard the 100$ 360 adapter doesnt work with link sys routers
