BSP error at StartCourseNow Button

Hi,
Iam facing an issue when clicking on StartCoursebutton in SAP LSO Portal.The navigation is like this.
Login to Portal / Learning Portal / Training Activities / Webbased training / WBT / Coursename
So when i click on 'Start Course Now' button it is showing error as below.
http://xxx.xxxxx.xxxx:8000/lms/mediator/courseview call was termintaed because the corresponding service is not available
Below are the config settings i have cross verified.
lms/mediator/config - tested this it is working fine.the paarmeters are correct.it is pointing to the backend system with ocrrect client
all the relevant services are activated in SICF.
Backend settings for Content player are given properly.
RFCs are working fine.
The question here is if i click on StartCoursebutton it must give Portal URL like this
"http://xxxxx.xxxx:50000/lms/mediator/courseview?sid=1539452163082062007006938124692&language=EN&sys=EC8&client=100&sap-accessibility="
and not backend URL like "http://xxx.xxxxx.xxxx:8000/lms/mediator/courseview" .

I have the same issue:
when press the butom : "Start Course Now" show the message :
URL http://<server_SAP_BACKEND>:8000/lms/mediator/courseview call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
wich is the upgrade than resolved the issue?

How to change profile parameter ?
This is Basis Work. If you are not a basis person, better talk to them before you change anything.
Goto <b>RZ10</b>
Click on the drop down button for Profile.
If you do not have any profile in that. Import the profile.
<b>RZ10 --> Utilities --> Import Profiles --> Of active server</b>
Then do the drop down on Profile again. This time pick the one with <b><sysid>_DVEBMGS<system number>_<hostname></b> which is an instance profile.
Choose Change.
In the next screen if you see ur parameter change it, otherwise, you can add one. Do not forget to save the changes.

I have an SAP Service user-id(service.sap.com market place user id).
Once after finding the required SAP Note for my issue I am trying to add that SAP Note to my favorites list.

Did you choose a really long name or something (the "String offset" description tends to prove it has to deal with some string length) ?

CRM 7.0 - New mailform in the email profile causing BSP error

Hi all,
I want to start to use standard responses in IC to make it more easier to reply to incoming emails... and also the tracking service ticket ID text in replies...
I followed John Burton's ERMS guide, but after I created new mailform via txt CRM_ERMS_MAILFORMS it was not possible to select it in e-mail profile... So I went to the webclient and created one more new mailform via webclient page . Afterwards this mailform was visible and able to select in the e-mail profile.
I tested to create new email, but page was not displayed and it all ended in BSP error stating that error MAIL_NOT_FOUND exception... It seems like this mailform is not recognized by ERMS ...
Same error happens when I select this mailform as one of the standard responses in response group and do not want it as automatic tracking text in the email reply...
Can you please help me with this issue? what's wrong with this mailform or do I miss some additional ERMS customizing?

Seems like the problem is the format of mailform (I changed it to "plain" text from HTML and it works correctly)... I need to test it also on different enviroment before I will close it...

BSP Error when copying text from email to Note section of a transaction

Hi All,
We are using CRM2007 for both the Interaction Centre and Sales Web Client.
When a user is creating a transaction in both roles, if one copies a piece of text from an email into the note section of a transaction at times the web client crashes and gives a BSP error.
It seems that cetain symbols are not recognised and cannot be converted when they are copied into the note section. The symbols I have noticed this to occur on are the dash symbol and the apostrophe (') symbol.
The symbols are fine when they are typed in directly, the issue only occurs if they are copied in.
The web client cannot handle this exception and falls over as a result.
However, if the text is copeid into the note section of a transaction in CRM online, any symbols it cannot convert correctly automatically convert to a hash (#) symbol.
Has anyone come across this issue before? Or have an idea as to how it could be resolved?
Even if it was possible for the webclient to convert any unknown symbols automatically into a hash (#) symbol like CRM Online so the web client would not fall over on save of a transaction.

Thanks for the reply I guess we could not get the fiddler trace as we are getting this error while i am copying the data to excel file which is present on drive from SharePoint this is not on a browser. Correct me if I am wrong

E-Mail Alerts Configuration in PI ... BSP error

Hi All
Am configuring alert framework. Process till getting them in Alert Inbox is done. Now I wanna direct the alerts to my e-mail ID.
Steps that i am doing :
1. E-Mail ID added in SU01.
2. SCOT configuration is done.
3. Now under Alert Inbox(RWB) when i try to use the Personalization tab it throws a BSP error stating :
BSP exception: Cannot start application sap/alertpersonalize_rules. Use transaction SICF to create application node. gsknoten an.

Hi,
We find no dumps in ST22 for this error.Checked in SLG1 as well, but didnot find any errors.
Also Manger is gettig the same error even after giving SAP_ALL role.

     I am following note 595563 and performing below mentioned activities.</h2>
       <h3> * Make sure that the HTTP plugin is active.</h3>
    <h4> Transaction SMICM, "Display Services" function key (shift F1). The list of services must contain a port other than 0 for HTTP. If not, you must adjust the relevant profile parameter.
     Typical entry:
      icm/server_port_0         PROT=HTTP, PORT=1080, TIMEOUT=900
Make sure that the /sap/bc/contentserver service is active.
      Transaction SICF, select: default_host - sap - bc - contentserver. Select the function to display/change the service. Check that a user is defined.
      If a user is not defined, use Transaction SU01 to create a new user. Use the "System" user type. Assign the profiles SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW to the user.
      Using the relevant data from the user that has just been created, maintain the anonymous logon data for the service /default_host/sap/bc/ and then save the changes.
Check the system PSE.
      Start Transaction STRUST. Expand the system PSE. The system PSE must be green for each application server.
Determine a suitable exchange directory.
      The archive system must be accessible from every application server. If all application servers are running on the same platform (for example, Windows), one network directory that is accessible on all application servers (for example,
server\share) is sufficient. You can generally use the global directory (profile parameter DIR_GLOBAL). You can use report RSPARAM to determine the profile parameters.
Setting up the storage
Create a table for storing the data.

i am doing the BSP tutorials given on SAP help site..i am on the fourth tutorial(further extending the bookshop application) while creating the <b>basket.htm</b> BSP i get the following error:

You will have to use the application class <b>CL_BSP_TUTORIAL</b>.
To do this just double-click on the bsp application name where you defined <b>Navigation Requests</b> in the first tutorial, click on the <b>Properties</b> tab and in the field next to <b>Application Class</b> put the application class name as : <b>CL_BSP_TUTORIAL</b>
<i><b>This should solve the second error too...just check and let us know...</b></i>

I have deployed the business package of Supplier Collaboration 2.0. When i click few of the iViews then i am getting the error as:

As per the BP guide, they havent mentioned anything to change the settings. We made sure the System alias used by this iview does exist., so there is no issue of system alias.

The error shows you are not using Fully qualified domain name.
Instead of the IP address give the server name with the fully qualified domain name.

SRM- Cfolders BSP error

We are testing SRM- cFolder integration scenario. Vendors are able to access cFolders from outside, internal users are able to access cFolders using URL generated from SICF- cfx. However from SRM server side,
whenever purchaser clicks on TechFX - cFolder URL is not opening. It shows BSP error. we are using Proxy server name in cFolders - network administration.
Please help - what needs to be done.

Does it asking for any login when you click on TechRFx or directly its giving the error ? what is the error message ?
you need to make sure that srm user should have login access to cFolder system with same login details .

When you add the exportButton, under Bc4j what is the View Instance you added,
Did you typed the name or selected from the list.
Is the view is same as the data displayed in the page/table.

I have created a UI-Component which contains a Window and a View. I already connected the view to the window. What I'm trying now is to add a "Save-Button" to save the input of the view. This is my Structure:

Here are my Questions
1) What exactly do i need to put into parameter "id" and "table" within the configCellerator? My window and view are connected and when it opens there should be the "Save-Button".
2) When I select "Test" my browser opens but I cannot see the preview, intead I get this exeption. Is my code wrong or where is my mistake?

if you want to create buttons in your form view there is a method in your implementation class that is
get_buttons.
you have to implement the method IF_BSP_WD_TOOLBAR_CALLBACK~GET_BUTTONS from your implementation class.

call transaction launcher on button press with parameter passing
you can come to know how to call.
in that doc you have to create one transaction launcher for your standard workflow. then that tcode you
need to call using that concept..
