BSP file path is not displayed

Hi All,
I have a web interface created in BPS using BSP application to upload a flat file from the portal .
__Structure:__
Cost Center Plan Upload
Company Code
Currency
Version
Year
File Name
Here cost center, company code, currency, version and year are variables and File name is to select the text file from desktop.
The actual issue is not showing the path under File Name to select the file. And not displaying upload and save buttons too.
It is working fine in Quality and Production systems but not in Dev after the systems up-gradation.
Any guidance on this issue would be really appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
Ganesh.

  • The Japanese file name is not displayed.

I'm using Mac OS 10.5.3(intel)/Adobe Media Player 1.0
In "Personal Videos",The Japanese file name is not displayed.
Example, "日本語.flv" is added, ".flv" is displayed in "Personal Videos".

    Thank you for reply.
    >Try this: Go to the Apple menu > System preferences > International > Languages. Add Japanese to the list of languages, if it does not appear there already. If you drag Japanese above English in the list, the finder and many other applications will open next time with Japanese menus. Even if you do not want Japanese menus, make sure Japanese appears somewhere in your list of languages. Just having it there unlocks Japanese features in certain software, like Japanese encoding in Apple's Mail application.
When trying, the problem was not improved.
    >If the Japanese menus make things hard for you in certain applications, you can set the language of specific applications individually using the following method: First, select the application's icon in the finder and choose "Get Info"from the File menu.
    >
    >Expand the Languages section of the Get Info window, and you'll see the languages available for the application. If you check Japanese and uncheck English, you will get Japanese menus; if you check English and uncheck Japanese, you'll get English menus. If both are checked, the language is determined by the order of languages in the International Preferences Pane.
In "Get Info" of the application based on Adobe AIR, "Languages section" is not found.

  • The temporary file path is not valid.  Lightroom cannot start

    Windows XP, SP3, Lightroom 2.5.
External hard drive starts acting funny.  Round here we expect hard drive failure, so I order a new drive and when it arrives copy the backup onto the new drive.  The new drive has the same drive letter as the old one, but not the same name.  When I try to open a catalog I get: "The temporary file path is not valid.  Lightroom cannot start."  The catalogs seem to be fine, as when I open lightroom directly, not by clicking the .lrcat file, catalogs look normal.  If I copy the lrcat file to my internal hard drive it opens.  If I create a new catalog on the external drive I get the same problem.
I have tried deleting the preferences file.  I have tried deleteing and reinstalling lightroom.  I have used the external HD on another computer with lightroom and it opens normally.
All I can imagine is that there is some setting, somewhere in the registry which does not get erased when the lightroom gets re-installed.  Any guesses?
I am at a loss!  Please hope me!

Could be your Windows tempfile path is messed up. You could try going to Control Panel/Advanced and pushing the Environment Variables button.See what the TEMP and TMP variables are set to.
Under "User Variables", both of mine are set to C:\Documents and Settings\<my name>\Local Settings\Temp.
Under "System Variables", both are set to C:\Windows\Temp.
Make sure that the directories referred to are legal and on accessible drives. Make sure they aren't read-only. It wouldn't hurt to create them if they don't exist.
    It's worth a try, I think.

  • Archos 7: the file path is not valid

    Hi,
I installed Adobe Readwe on my Archos 7 Tablet (Android 2.1).
Every time I try to open a file the message "the file path is not valid" shows.
Could you please help me ?
    Regards
    Konstantin Tzovanis

    Hey,
    I'm having the same problem.
I just recently downloaded and installed the Acrobat Reader on my Archos 7 (home tablet). The installation run without any problems. But whenever I try to open a PDF file, a message shows up, telling me "Error: The file path is not valid".
I have tried almost every single folder on my tablet. Does the PDF file need a specific file name? Do I have to create a folder (what would be it's name)?
I haven't tried to download PDFs from the internet... it might work, but it would be great, if I can copy some PDFs from my computer to my tablet, too.
    Please Help!
    Thanks

Aha, you already have QuickTime. Unfortunately, Firefox didn't find it. Can you try the method described in this thread (deleting a file and having Firefox re-generate it) and see whether it works for you?

    Hi,

The concerned topic, for which the CHM is not displaying content, is included in TOC also.
When the target topic in the TOC is clicked, the CHM file is displaying the following message: Navigation to the webpage was canceled.
Can anybody tell me why it is happening like that?

Does it display OK if you open the help independently of the application?
If it does, then the problem has to be in the call.

  • ITunes on macbook pro - resetting music file path when not on my network

    Hi there!
I suspect I know the answer to this already, but I hope I'm wrong! :-D
I have my macbook a while now, but I've only recently started using iTunes properly.
I have a home network, which consists of my macbook pro, a dell laptop running XP, a Nintendo Wii, a Sumvision Netbox NAS 1TB drive and a Logitech Squeezebox Boom.
I'm using the NAS as my music storage, iTunes rips music and stores it here.
    This is all good.
The Squeezebox Boom (for anyone who doesn't know) is a neat little Wifi radio/mp3 player, it streams radio from the web, and also music from the NAS.
The software that controls it is called the Squeeze center.
At the moment I have this software linked to iTunes, so when I add music to my library via iTunes the squeeze center automatically scans the music library and updates itself taking in music details, play lists, art work and all, it's a great system.
The problem I have is when I take my laptop anywhere, iTunes changes the iTunes music folder location automatically to the internal hard drive, which means when I get home again I have to reset the file path and iTunes then has to scan the folder and organise everything again.
not only that, as soon as the squeeze center sees the file path has changed it points at the new location (on the macbook hard drive) and looses the library.
so when I reset iTunes, the squeeze center has to rescan everything again also.
    It's quite annoying.
I have a work around in that I can tell the squeezecenter not to look at iTunes and hard wire it to the location, but I'd rather not do that.
Is it possible to get iTunes to keep the NAS music folder as the iTunes Music folder location even when the macbook isn't on the network?
Or will it always change the folder when I leave the network.
    Many thanks for your help.
    Paul.

I've had this problem for ages, only now it seems as though iTunes is no longer restoring my music folder to the NAS if I start it when the NAS is connected. This is proving a pain in the a** because I keep forgetting about it, going online and buying a load of music from the store and then I find I've got a gig to consolidate when I realise my music folder has filled up! Funnily enough, I've downloaded and edited an applescript that automatically checks every half hour whether or not I'm on my home network, if I am it mounts my network drive for me. I really miss the airport disk utility's automatic mount feature. What I think I'l do is create another one for iTunes, to serve as a shortcut to iTunes, but when it's run it will check to see if you're on your home network, if so mount the NAS (if it isn't already), if not, or if it can't mount it will ask you whether you want to run iTunes after warning you that your NAS isn't connected. The only potential problem I could see is when iTunes runs as a result of you opening a music file in Finder. However I'm sure we could associate the applescript 'shortcut' with music instead of iTunes? I'll post here if and when I'm successful.

  • Deployed PAR file webservices are not displayed in SOAP admin

    Hi,
we were facing the problem with customized PAR file deployment and
associated webservices. We have deployed the the PAR file on two
different versions of EP as given below.
EP6.0(WAS620)-SP2(J2EE and Portal versions are identical)
EP6.0(WAS640)-SP13(J2EE and Portal versions are identical)
The problem was the webservices has been shown in the case of
EP6.0(WAS620)-SP2 under SOAP Administration and not shown in case
of EP6.0(WAS640)-SP13.Is there any specific version made PAR files are
required for each of above portal versions or any other way to
    check the webservcies in EP6.0(SP13).
Kindly help us to resolve this issue.

    Hi Swetha ,
in Bypass scenario if you are fetching a flat file from source to target some time you are not able to view the file in payload .However it does not make any difference as you are simply tunnling the file not doing any transformation with it .
If it is a flat file in sender CC just make      1 .file type as bin     or   2 . file type as text and  encoding as UTF-8 and then check you can view the file content or not .check with both  bin and text ( one by one ) .might be you will able to view payload in MONI with any one of that setting in sender CC .

Tools>Manage Addons>Show all addons>Locate your custom download control in the list and double click it to display its properties.
at the bottom of the Properties dialog there is a list of allowed sites. compare this with the settings on the Administrators account. The value should be the same as on the user account.

  • Pentax RAW file photos do not display correcty in LR

Using Macbook Pro, OS X 10.8.5
    Lightroom version 5.7, Raw 8.7
    Camera Pentax K7
Lightroom does not seem to be able to display Pentax RAW files correctly. Colours are unnatural, muddy and lacking in yellow. Pictures are lacking detail and look muzzy. Preview displays RAW photos fine with correct colour cast and pictures are clear with plenty of detail. Photos processed from RAW to Jpeg using Pentax's digital camera utility, then imported to LR library display perfectly. LR doesn't seem to be able to handle Pentax RAW files, despite being listed as a supported file on Adobe list of compatible file types. Even iPhoto does a better job than LR.
What;s going on Lightroom people? Do I have to manually activate some sort of plug-in?
    (left image Lightroom, right Preview)

Thanks for all @your suggestions. Switching to Camera Standard does improve the accuracy of the colour balance image a bit. Further jiggling the colour Primarys & Saturations produces a much better result.
As ssprengel suggested try setting your Penatx K7 to DNG raw file format, which will embed a custom camera profile that LR will use. If your results with LR's default camera calibration settings (i.e. 0) are still unsatisfactory I suggest calibrating (or recalibrating) your display with an i1 Display or Spyder hardware device. I wouldn't even attempt to make fine adjustments to image files on a system with an uncalibrated display–You simply will be "misadjusting" the image to correct for display errors.
For best results the display should be hardware calibrated to create a monitor profile with 6500 K Color Temperature, 2.2 Gamma, and 120 cd/m2 Luminance. If you've already done this try recalibrating the display using the above suggested settings.
If your results still look "off-target" after hardware calibration I would suggest investing in a ColorChecker Passport and use it's LR Plugin application to create a custom camera profile. You'll will still need to measure and adjust the LR White Balance (WB) settings, which can be easily done using the ColorChecker Passport neutral patches or its White Balance target.

As to the muzzy quality of the PEF images v the Jpegs. Even at 100% zoom there is a difference, but I'm now pretty sure that it's due mostly to the camera software sharpening the images when converting from to original PEF to Jpeg. (as suggested by ssprengel in his answer). I have not yet been able to replicate this effect exactly in LR, but I can see that it would be possible to improve this with perseverance.
LR's Detail panel Sharpening controls will allow you to set whatever capture sharpening level you desire. Good tutorial here on using the ALT/Option key with LR's Sharpening controls:

  • Logical file path is not working properly with different DTP's

    Hi all,
I have a open hub, that push data in to application server(AL11) with file name /tmp/.
I have two DTP's, one for company code. P001 and other for U001.
i want to display dynamic file names as P001 when DTP for P001 is executed and U001 when  DTP for U001 is executed
file names as follows  /tmp/P00120110412openhub.csv  and /tmp/U00120110412openhub.csv.
for this i have writen code in function module Y_FILENAME_EXIT_name. and it is working fine.
my problem is I can run only one DTP and only one time, for this it is creating the file.  when i am executing the same DTP or other DTP, the DTP is running without errors and  it is not creating the file in AL11.  if I activate the open hub and execute the DTP then it is creating the file.
every time i have activate the open hub and then i am running the DTP's. please suggest me to avoid this.
    Thanks in advance.
