BSP iview Pages not displaying since moved to QA?

Hi All,
We're using MSS 60.1.20 and ESS 50.4. We have created a number of custom BSP iviews and have grouped them on some custom pages. These work perfetly fine in DEV but once we transported them to QAS, they data is not being displayed. The iview titles are being displayed and the iviews are in the correct position but no data is being output on the iviews. I've checked the BSP in R/3 and is working perfectly fine.
If i preview the iviews individually (rather than previewing the page in it's entirity), they display perfectly fine.
So why do they not display when they're on the page? Is there some parameter that i'm missing?
What could be different between dev and qas?
This is a very strange problem and its holding us up in our testing and we're due to go live fairly soon, so any guidance would be most welcome.

check the height of the page.
there will be a expand/collapse on the top right corner,check whether it is expanded or not

'Access is denied' error in ESS iViews & Page not displayed' thru. internet

We are implementing ESS(Webdynpro)/MSS(Java).
We are in EP6 SP13.
We want to put our portal on internet through SSL.
I have installed SAP Webdispatcher and configured it to support SSL. SAP webdispatcher is installed on a DMZ machine(hostname: SAPROUTER).
webdispatcher ports:
http port: 80
https port: 8443
1) When i try to access the portal from the DMZ machine (where the webdispatcher is installed) using https://saprouter.domainname.net:8443/irj/portal, i am able to see all the iViews.. but, i am getting 'access is denied' error(in the status bar) when i try to click on any link in ESS iViews (for ex: working time, Employee search).. when i try to double click i am getting javascript:void(0)
2) When i try to access the portal through internet(https://<ipaddress>:8443/irj/portal), I get the logon page and after logging in... i am not able to see the ESS and Transaction iViews .. getting 'Page cannot be displayed' error.
When i am able to see the iViews in the DMZ machine.. why are they not being displayed when i access through internet??
Can any1 help me in this regard?? What am i missing ??

Its a hot topic I think,
Where facing the exact same problems.
When we logon LOCAL to the Portal the iview works. (Not true the internet / DMZ)
But when we logon true the webdispatcher we get the Portal Layout, so the dispatcher works.
But the WEBdynpro Iview gives the error -> Page not displayed'
And when we edit the file hosts on the pc of the client browser and fill in the hostname of the SAP Portal the Iview works..???
There are no ports closed on the firewall, everything is allowed.
Can anyone tell me of its necessary to edit the Web Dynpro Runtime Environment. Here are some settings for the WEBdispatcher but I cant get it working.
- sap.webdispatcher.host = Defines the host of a used Web Dispatcher
- sap.webdispatcher.port = Defines the port of a used Web Dispatcher
- sap.webdispatcher.protocol = Defines the protocol of a used Web Dispatcher

When I activate the trace on the webdispatcher
(D:webdispsapwebdisp.exe pf=D:webdispsapwebdisp.pfl -t 2)
In the Tracefile I can see that the webdispatcher resolves the SAP portal system. Thats was aleady confirmed by seeing the portal framework from the client. I think that the WEBdynpros have to be remote activated, or some addition settings in the webdispatcher.
If somebody get an idée I really would like to know it.

Page not displaying iviews

Hi Experts,
I created a page with 2colums and assigned same iview 4 times. When I saw the preview of the page it shows 4 iviews in a page. I assigned page to role and tested, page shows only 2 iviews in First column only. Second column iviews is not displaying.
Guide me to resolve this issue.

Hi Srinivasu,
The property of the iview that i mentioned is "Cache Level", check check this is set to none.
And also you can check in the page in the page content section that all the iview added to it, have the check box visible selected.

Problem URL-IView - is not display in the Portal Content Area

I have a problem. My URL-IView is not displayed in the Portal Content Area. The setting "launch in new window " is "display in Portal Content Area". What can I do that the URL -IVIiew is not display in a separate window.

You have to add your URL iView to a page. See URL iview - The page cannot be found for details.

I have a problem with some pages not displaying correctly i.e.
SE80 navigation page
F1 help
I am using XP sp2 and we have the latest version of internet explorer 7 (which I cannot uninstall as it is company policy)
SAP version is 6.4c.
I am using SAP Gui 7.10 with the latest patch 710_7.
This is making the system completely unusable for me.
I have read a few forum posts mentioning that upgrading to the latest patch version will resolve this problem, but this clearly has not worked for me.
Can someone please help, how do I actually esculate this to SAP?

I am a SAP developer in ABAP and its related to SE80 which I used to use primarily for editing code (i now have to use se38).
I often use F1 for hints on code etc to use and syntax so it does make it very difficult for me. If there is a more appropriate forum for this please direct me, instead of posting in gibberish english.
Max - I assume you have the same problem and it is also not resolved by the latest patch. I wonder is there a way this can be esculated with SAP?

Ok, then let's go the long way and try to reduce the number of possible root causes:
1) Is your problem reproducible on this publish? (I suppose it is)
2) Is it reproducible on other publishs as well, which have received the same page with the same application?
3) Can you reproduce it on other replicated pages as well?
4) When you upload a page to such an affected publish via a content package, does this page render correctly?
5) Does this problem appear on other environments as well?
6) Do you use dispatcher when you get this result? Or do you get it when you request the page directly of CQ5?
7) What's the HTTP statuscode when you render this page? You can see it in the request.log of CQ5.
If you change logging via Felix Console, you don't need to restart the instance.

Login action buttons no longer work and some pages not displaying correctly after upgrade.

After recent update, some web pages not displaying correctly and Login buttons on some sites do not work. I've updated my plugins and restarted computer, but problems remains. Is this Java, Javascript or something else? Same pages are working fine in IE.

Please update the firefox to the latest version of firefox 26
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

It's the only element that isn't in sync with the other elements on page, when compared to home.html for example.

BBC One Highlights page not displaying content of its panes

Why does the BBC One Highlights page not display the content of its panes?

There seems to be something up with their javascript that produces slightly different image url's than on other browsers.
Instead of something like this:

it's producing say
http://ichef.bbci.co.uk/images/ic/336x0/legacy/episode/b03ggg2z.jpg
which doesn't exist.

Pulisher CUCM web page not display

Hello,
Publisher cucm web page not displayed and DB not accessible IP phones working on Subscriber but I can't change any settings.Cisco Tomcat service not working and I can't restarting. (ver. 7.1.5)

If you cannot change any config then it's more than just not being able to use a webpage, there must be some problem with the ccm/DB services on the PUB.
SSH to the server and see if there are error messages, I'd suggest a whole reboot.

http://siteurl/default.aspx page? If so, go to Site Features in site settings page, reactivate the Wiki Page home page feature, check the result.
If not, please check whether there is related information in ULS log and event viewer log file? Does the page shows page not found or other errors? Check whether the site can be opened in other machine?

How to display the one BSP View page (not a start page)Through URL link..

            I have an Z application ZHRRCF_APPROVAL..In this application approve.bsp file i have added som more Fields..and Finally I am going to click ApproVe Buton /Reject Button.When i click the reject button the the items are rejected.Its working fine.....

Please have BPEL loggers both at domain and system level to DEBUG mode. Set all loggers to DEBUG as you are interested to see the entire sequence flow..however, some loggers give you unnecessary info ;/ apart from cube, activation, delivery, dispatch, persistence.
Added to this, you might want to try SOAPUI, Fiddler, HTTP Analyzer.

Text on some pages not displaying correctly since Lion upgrade

Since upgrading to Lion a few days ago, I find that the texg on many web pages does not display correctly. It appears to affect mainly header texts - all I get is a row of the capital letter "A" in boxes. I am running Safari Version 5.1 (7534.48.3) on Lion 10.7 Build 11A511.
Can anyone suggest a fix for this?

Page w/3 Iviews will not display all iviews thru Portal Role?

I am having a problem with getting 2 of 3 iviews to display through my portal role(s). 1 of the iviews is a copy (generated thru the wizard with same properties) of the SAP Bank information iview and the other 2 I created in the KM content (1 is an image and the other is html). If I preview the page, I see all 3 of my iviews with no problem.
Just a little history, I created a new area page called payments which I tied Bank Information and w-4 to via config in the back end. I z copied all my resources and tied the correct PCD to them.
It almost seems that it is still calling the SAP delivered Bank information? But, I checked all my config and nothing that is configured is pointing to there iview/page?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly on this. I did create a z copy of the bank information service and called it z_employee_bank_us_serv05. I created the iview with application name 'per_bank_us' and as for the 'Application Parameters', I did not fill anything in which leads me to my next question.
I know when I create a new area, that I need to fill in the application parameters of the path to the 'Area group pages'
(Example: sap.xss.menuarea=Z_EMPLOYEE_BENEFITPAY_ERP2005&sap.xss.menuargrp=Z_SAPDEFAULTESS_ERP2005&sap.xss.menuhdr=SAPDEFAULT),
What would the verbage that would need to be added to the application parameters for this just to point to the service?

Google web page not displaying correctly

Since updating to v24.0 of Firefox (desktop) the Google web page does not display correctly.
If I use the IE tab 2 in FF or even IE10, I see the pagwe in it's full 'glory' including the black menu bar across the top were you can select Gmail or Calendar etc etc
However, in FF (without using the IE Tab 2) this menu bar across the top of the page does not display ... and to add insult to injury ... some web links o certain pages don't seem to want to work either !!!!
Anyone know what's gone wrong here as I can't figure it out ?!?!?!

Whenever my Google UI changes drastically, I clear all my Google cookies and usually that fixes it. Sometimes I have to do that AND restart Firefox.
If you haven't already tried it... When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
