BSP on cellular phones

Hello all !
I have a tricky question and I have been searching an answer for weeks, unsuccesfully...
I would like to develop a little and simple BSP for cellular phones. All seem to be compatible. I can display pages as normally as I hoped...
...but...
When I click on a button (input type=submit), nothing happens. It does not seem to trigger any event.
I have tried with other sites that use buttons and they work. So, my BSP has an error or an incompatibility for managing "OnInputProcessing" Eventhandler.
"Why ?" is my first question. "How could I overrule this problem ?" is the second.
Has someone already worked on that subject ?
Thanks in advance for people who will help me
Best regards
Sebastien Jalade.

You aren't attached to a bluetooth headset or other device for some strange reason? Or even an automobile bluetooth, I have a friend that has this issue with his Prius because even when it is not running the bluetooth is still active and connects to his phone.

• Calling from Cellular Phones

Hi,
When I try to call my SPA942 (which is plugged into my SPA9000), from a cellular phone my menu options are not available, i.e. speakerphone etc. For example, when I try to call another cell or landline, as soon as the phone starts to ring there is a connection established and I can put on speakerphone while I am waiting for someone to answer. However when I try calling the SPA942 (through my SPA9000) I cannot do this, the only option is to end call. It does not pick up on the connection.
Can someone please advise if there is an option on my PBX to send back some sort of communication to the cell to confirm a connection so this will work?
Many thanks,
Glenn.

Sorry I am only getting back now, but I was away for a couple of weeks. Yes it looks like I need to have the ack sent to confirm connection from the spa to the cell.
I do not have the auto attendant or hunt group set up. I have four different internet phone accounts, each configured to forward to a different extension on one SPA942 phone, i.e. account 1 forwards to ex. 100, account 2 forwards to ex. 101 etc etc.
Many thanks.

• Airport extreme with T-Mobile Wi-Fi cellular phone

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to properly pair my airport extreme to a T-Mobile Wi-Fi cellular phone. It work for me for a short period of time and than the signal would drop. Then the only way I could get back on the network was after
I restarted the airport extreme.

If you search the Internet and around here this has been a problem ever since UMA Calling (WiFi Calling Service) and this router has been paired up. Calls would get dropped in the middle or switched over to the EDGE network in mid stream even if you were in the same room with your wireless router. In my research this did not happen on true B/G version of the Airport Extreme but only on the N capable version. Yet the vendor sites are generally silent on this but a search thru discussion forums and you will find it.
I have a Blackberry Curve with the Wi-Fi on T-Mobil about two months ago and gave up.
I got excited this morning when I saw the 7.3.1 firmware on the system to upload to my Airport Extreme N (Gigabit Interfaces). I have loaded it on my Airport Extreme N right now. I just finished calling Comcast (since I know it takes forever to go thru their system). Call lasted over 3 minutes without being dropped or switched to back EDGE. Just made another call for about 4 minutes with the same affect. This is looking good.
I just got off another call for with T-Mobile Support (I am testing as I write this) for over 5 minutes. No dropping and no switching over to EDGE. The support guy was kind of surprised that it was working. They have not been informed a fix but he was not surprised if there was a fix and they were not aware of it. You have to feel sorry for the 1st line helpdesk guys.
I don't necessarily want to claim victory in this because I sometimes have been able to get longer calls with the old firmware but this definitely looks promising. Three calls in the relatively short time between them without any noticeable issue which rarely or never happened.
I know I am at Apple forum but at least Microsoft gives a list of issues that are supposed to be fixed by their patches or Service Packs. I could not find one here for this. All it mentions is the generic term "big fixes".
As always with any firmware upgrade make sure you have the most recent version of "installer" software. This case the Airport software appropriate to your OS Version and verify that version of the software is compatible with Firmware 7.3.1.
Please be aware that I make no warranties by any of these statements....so if it does not work or you toast your Airport Extreme N router... don't sue me. I am from the old school of IT support and Firmware upgrades was the last thing you did because it can go horribly bad and was the fastest way to toast a piece of equipment. Even with the modern installers and such I am still cautious about it.
Good Luck to you

• Not receiving texts from US Cellular phone

Starting yesterday 12/2, I stopped receiving texts from my husband's US Cellular phone. I got two random texts from him, but not the others he sent. I also sent him multiple texts and he never received any of them. Today, I received three texts from him this morning, but he sent more than that and he hasn't received any of the ones I sent him. I tried turning off my phone and leaving it off for awhile. I also did the second ios7 update on my iPhone 4. He believes it's an issue with my phone because he's receiving texts from other people through multiple carriers. Any suggestions?
Also, I'm not receiving any error messages or anything out of the ordinary. All texts appear to go through and have the times sent next to them.

• Automatic syncing from iCal with cellular phone?

I use iCal v.2.0.4 with OSX Tiger and it works splendid. However, when I want to sync my calendar with my SonyEricsson k750i I need to open iSync and then press Command+T to start the sync. Even though this works great I would like to have iCal sync automatically with my cellular phone each time a change is made to my callendar. Does anyone know of any product or "hack" to fix this?
Any hints or pointer are apreciated.

I use .mac, so I just set iSync on my Mac to open at login, and my .mac preference to sync automatically. I leave iSync running minimized in the doc and everything stays in sync.
If you're not a dot mac user google for iSync applescript
There are several posts on how to set up an alternative method.

• US Cellular phone

Will a iphone 5s with us cellular work with an AT&T sim card?

You can use your U.S. Cellular phone with an AT&T SIM card although you need to first have U.S. Cellular unlock it for you. They have historically been pretty good about doing this, you can find more information at http://www.uscellular.com/site/legal/mobile-wireless-device-unlocking.html Hope this helps and good luck.

• Java Card Cellular Phone Development

Hi..
I am looking to start developing a procedure on a JavaCard that can be inserted into a Nokia cellular phone.
The procedure would intercept keypad digits, and add other characters to the front of the number if someone is dialing a long distance number.
I figure I have to access an "outbound dialing" API if one exists.
How do i edit these cards? ANY help would be great.
thanks!

SIM toolkit card can do this work. But it don't still take over all inputs from handset. You'd better look GSM 11.14 specification in detail. A proactive command is povided to implement it. That is Setup Call which can tell handset to connect a call to someboy. You can construct this command by yourself. That means you can insert some characters into command. As i know, Javacard don't give any relative API.
Hope it helpful

• I fixed my cellular phone Sim in iPad but unable to dial/talk. Whats

I fixed my cellular phone SIM in my iPad-4 but unable to dial & talk to my contacts. Although network signals are shown on the screen. What is the function of SIM in my iPad & how it can be activated to use as cellulary phone?

An iPad isn't a phone so you can't do 'normal' phone calls with it. You can do FaceTime calls, or use apps such as Skype For iPad.

• Java on cellular phones

Is there any guide regarding writting java apps. for cellphones?

Only one other thing to add to ggainey's comment - after getting familiar with J2ME, take a look at the web site for the cell phone/mobile device vendor(s) you plan to develop for. Some have APIs and tools that may be of interest. For example, [url http://www.blackberry.com/developers/na/java/index.shtml]Blackberry (RIM) has some good documentation and tools for development on their platform.

• Emails from MobileMe account to cellular phone (not iPhone)

This is probably simple to do but I can't figure it out.
I have a Samsung Instinct and a iMac running on Leopard 10.5.7.
I want my Samsung alert me when I get me.com emails
in my Mobile me account.
How do I do it? Is it something I set up in Mail? Mobile Me? on my Instinct phone?
with my telephone company?
Thanks

AFAIK you can't do this directly: but assuming that your phone has an email service associated with it you could forward messages from MobileMe to your phone's account.
To do this, log in at http://me.com and in the Mail pane click the 'Tools' button (the one with the small cogwheel and the down-arrow) and click 'Preferences'. In the toolbar of the pane which opens click 'Other' and then check 'Forward my email to another email account' and 'Keep a copy of forwarded messages with MobileMe' and enter the email address.
Whether you will actually get alerts when the messages arrive depends on how the phone and the email account work.

Is WMA the only library the device need to support for sending SMS-messages ?
Is it other ways to send SMS ?

Is WMA the only library the device need to support
for sending SMS-messages ?Yes.
Is it other ways to send SMS ?Some mobile vendors add sending SMS to their java packages, for example, Siemens, Samsung.
Also you may send SMS from web site, if you can connect to it via HttpConnect.
