Bsp Page Not displying in browser!

Hi friends,
My Bsp Page is not displaying in the browser, i read all previous messages and applied patches too,Still i am getting the same problem
http://sapr347:8001/sap/bc/bsp/sap/system/sso2test.htm?sap-client=800&sap-sessioncmd=open
this is the url generated by Web Application builder test tool, even i forced the system to use the Anonymous logon procedure and checked logon data required check box, is any request handler require for my application?
My Instance_profile and trace file shows
icm instance as sapr347.ssdomain, even i made an attempt and gave Ip address and system name as..
10.10.4.11 sapr347.ssdomain sapr347 -> Failed
10.10.4.11 sapr347 -> Failed
in windows/system32/drivers/etc/host file for temporary solution.
Please advice me in this regard

Thanks for all of your great help, i chekced all the parameters as i said before.. FQDN paramter in instance profile showing sapr347.ssdomain, my host file set into
10.10.1.106 sapr347.ssdomain
even i restarted my mechine(client/server),i am getting the following error

Scenario: two .pdfs generated from FrameMaker with full Acrobat 7.0. Document A contains a cross-reference to a heading on page 7 of document B.
Behaviour in desktop Reader: clicking on the link in Document A opens Document B, at page 7
Behaviour in browser with Reader plugin: clicking on the link in Document A opens Document B, at page 1
The second behaviour is obviously less help to the [human] reader. Does anyone know of any workaround?

BSP session not dying when browser window closes

Hi,
I am having a small problem with the bsp session. I shall explain the prb with an example.
Lets say i have a bsp application BSP1. I open the application from the Favorites tab in the SAPGUi.
Initially, i have another browser window open containing google.com(this is imp that i have another browser open all the time containing anything). I now start BSP1, then i close the window by hitting the close button of the browser, as a result the controller sends a exit view back to the frontend which never gets displayed. now i start BSP1 again from SAPGUi, and the browser instead of showing me the logon screen and the start page goes to the exit page of the application. In other words to the last URL that i visited last time in the application. Somehow when the window is closed, the session on the applicaiton server is not dying. This only happens if i have any other browser open all the time containing any thing.
If i do not have any other browser open, and then i follow the above sequence of events,everything runs smoothly. Also, in the previous case, if i close the google window also and start the application again, everything runs smoothly. In IE settings , in Advanced tab there is a setting for REUSE EXISTING WINDOWS FOR LAUNCHING SHORTCUTS. If i set this option, everything runs smoothly, even if i have a Google(whatever) window open all the time. If i do not set this option, i run into the problem as in the first case. Also, if instead of opening the application through the SAPGui i open another browser from the taskbar and type in the URL , everything runs smoothly inspite of another google window being opened all the time.
Also this problem is evident in systems with BASIS 640/level 10 and BASIS 620/level 19. It might be present in other versions also but i am working on these two systems with these versions. This problem does not pop up on BASIS 700.
If on exit, within the controller, i reset the keep_context attribute of RUNTIME object, everything runs smoothly.
could you please guide me as to what can be the problem here and how it can be solved. It is important. Any kind of help and guidance would be highly appreciated.

The very first important aspect to understand is that CANCEL kills the session long before the request reaches the ABAP stack. So what ever you want to do, this is not the way to go.
From reading your first post in this thread through, I have the impression that you might have some confusion between stateful versus authentication. No, I it is not the problem/solution, but just that your very long descriptions without using consistant terminology makes it difficult to understand where we are going.
Thus, I would recommending read this article for background information:<a href="/people/mark.finnern/blog/2003/09/24/bsp-in-depth-confusion-between-stateless-stateful-and-authentication">BSP In-Depth: Confusion between Stateless, Stateful and Authentication</a>.
Next, you CAN NOT "redirect it to the browser on the onbeforeunload() event". Well, at least I never have never succeeded.
Once the closed button is hit, you have not many options. One idea is a window.open, see system application for examples. The other is the image loading trick that Thomas describes in his weblog. Both ideas will actually solve your problems (once you really understand what is happening). This is unfortunately not always perfectly easy.

Why is my page not centered in browser view?

I am working on my home page. I set the container dimension to 700px and max width 960. I have tried other sizes. every time in Windows browser view my site shifts to the left with a large margin on the right. I can't get it to center. I have an error message saying :
Unsupported property: max-width
Affects: Internet Explorer 6.0; Internet Explorer for Macintosh 5.2
In Live View, it looks fine. Also, in browser view, my spry menu bar is not showing up (it does in Live View).
Anyone have any suggestions??

It would be soooooo much simpler and quicker for everyone if you would upload your page to your remote web space and post a link for us to see it in our browsers.
My guess is that your code has validation errors that need fixing.

JSP page not refreshing in browser

Everytime I edit a JSP file, and try to refresh the JSP in the browser, I don't get an updated version... just the original page that I viewed first. Anyone got a solution?
I tried deleting the work directory under the %tomcatHome% directory, and that seems to work until I view the page, and tomcat creates this work directory again. So when I try to refresh the page, because the work folder is still there, the page does not get refreshed. Weird... any solutions? Thanks again.

I'm not sure if your using Tomcat or not but if you are give this a try:
The ROOT context is the default Web application in Tomcat, and is convenient to use when you first learning about servlets and JSP (although you'll use your own Web applications once you're more experienced). The default Web application is already enabled in Tomcat 3, Tomcat 4.0.1-4.0.3, and Tomcat 4.1. But, in Tomcat 4.0.4 it is disabled by default. To enable it, uncomment the following line in install_dir/conf/server.xml:
<Context path="" docBase="ROOT" debug="0"/>

This will make the server request a new page every time, not recommended for production apps but for development it will make life easier.

PDF page not showing in browser window in Safari

When I click on a pdf link while in Safari browser, for instance "download full equipment list", I get a blank page. I have downloaded the latest PDF Flash Player. I am using Safari 4.0.3. I use OS 10.5. I didn't have this problem before 10.5. I don't use this very much, so I do not know what the precipitating event could have been. This does not happen when I use Firefox (but I am not fond of Firefox).

I downloaded the Flash PDF Player because it was a suggestion as to why I may not be able to access PDF documents through Safari. Removing it is irrelevant at this point since the problem was occurring before I downloaded the Flash PDF Player.
My guess is that it has to do with Safar. As I mentioned, I do not have this problem with Firefox.
Any suggestions?

Page not adjusting to browser size

I've had to edit this as my problem has slightly changed.
The website I am working on is here
Whenever I adjust the size of my browser window the content (the box in the middle) stays fixed and won't adjust to the broswer size.
I know it's possible to make this work as I've seen it on other Muse sites such as site of the day websites like this one

Your page is already behaving the same as the example provided. The background image is resizing to fill the browser window size and the page width is fixed.
Your page width appears to be wider that is commonly recommended. There are still a significant number of website visitors on 1280 pixel wide displays, so a 1600 pixel wide page will force them to do horizontal scrolling. You might want to consider a narrower page width. (Also many users with large display will still be working with browser windows smaller than the full width of the display, so a value smaller than 1600 pixels is preferred. Perhaps 1440 max.)
It appears the visual appearance of your page is positioned offset ~260 pixels from the left edge of the page as defined in Muse design view? Perhaps a left margin amount? You probably don't want margins of more than 20 or 30 pixels.

BSP Page not found

I created a BSP application, created the SICF entry, and have been running the application for months. All of a sudden I am getting a page cannot be found error. It's like it can't find the initial page.
When I go into an application that IS working, and I look at the url, I see something like this:
https://www.mysite.com/ss(bD1lbiZjPTEwMA==)/selection.htm?sap_client=100
The SICF application alias is /ss, and the initial page in the BSP application is selection.htm. This works fine.
When I go into the application that is NOT working, this is the url:
https://www.mysite.com/ss(bD1lbiZjPTEwMA==)/?sap_client=100
It looks like it is not recognizing what the initial page is. No change have been made to the application for a month, so I don't know why this started happening all of a sudden.

We have our own extranet site that we are running these from. The BSP application has an initial page, and the sicf was used to create an alias for the bsp application.
One thing I noticed that i had wrong in my original message, the application that works looks like this:
https://www.mysite.com/ss(bD1lbiZjPTEwMA==)/selection.htm?sap_client=100
The one that doesn't work looks like this:
https://www.mysite.com/ss?sap_client=100
The whole "(bD1lbiZjPTEwMA==)/selection.htm" is missing.

New Tab Page not showing thumbnails; browser.newtab.url reset is greyed out. What is my next step?

I have read this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/934935 but the solution this user found apparently isn't available to me.
I cleared my cache and cookies the other day, and now my New Tab Page isn't populating with new thumbnails. I do have one thumbnail, a page I pinned, but all of the others haven't come back. I went into about:config and found browser.newtab.url, but the 'reset' option was greyed out. I haven't been able to find out what the next step is to restore my thumbnails; am hoping someone here can help. Thanks!

I do still see empty tiles on the about:newtab page - I have the one pinned page, from before I cleared my cache, and then 8 empty tabs. The disk cache contains information up until just a few minutes ago so yep, appears to be working fine.

Pages Not Showing In Browser

I am new to Dreamweaver, I was using the demo and just
purchased the full version.
The pages I was working on do not show in IE 6.0 and prior.
They are fine in later versions of IE and in Mozilla and Netscape.
Any ideas on what I could have done to cause this?

An error message which is getting displayed should be removed on leaving the page. I mean the meassage area is not getting refreshed on leaving the page. Everytime i need to refresh the page to remove it. Please help.

Yes, there are so many pages on-line that -- when made small enough to fit within the margins so one does no have to use a scroll bar on EVERY line, moving it back and forth, back and forth -- look like a FINE-print Bible page (!! tiny !!) if you keep reducing it to fit within the margins.
ALL because we cannot find a place to tell it to WRAP to FIT. Could have sworn I've seen some feature like that somewhere at one time, but if it is here, I cannot find it.

Want to check page is displayed on browser or not ?

In my code:
in every half an hour it opens my browser and access a website(just like www.yahoo.com).
I want, in any case if page not displayed it make a file and saved it on my pc. How can i check the page is displayed or not ?

that another url makes his code barf "for no particular reason" ;-)Indeed. I've never used the HttpUrlConnection stuff before - I've normally just used commons.HttpClient - but it certainly seems pretty "clunky" (a POST method gets magically use just because an output stream is open).
AFAIK, there's nothing in rfc2616 which states that a GET request must not include an entity body - so this seems pretty odd behaviour.
Its also at odds with its own java-doc (I set the requestMethod to "GET", but by opening an output stream it automatically became a "POST". Nothing I could find in the java doc to explain this....).
Anyway, as is probably obvious, Im just trying to find excuses to cover up my mistate :o)
