  • CRM Open Interface Tables for Integrating with CRM

HI all, We are evaluating integration with CRM from Telco Billing system. The TRMs of CRM talk about using some published open Interface table in CRM. I could not find any TRM or User manual where I can get this info.
Also need to know API for CRM for intregation. PL. reply to [email protected] . Thanks - Pradip

I think you also need V14496-01 Part 1 of 2 and V14496-01 Part 2 of 2 (English Language Extension Packs).
Installation is explained in the Bookshelf: V29095-01

  • The new features avilable in webdynpro for abap with EHP5

    Hi,
Currently our ECC 6.0 is upgraded with EHP5 from EHP3.
Could anyboy tell me the new featues available in webdynpro for abap for this EHP5. If i develop WDA objects in  EHP3 environment and transport it to new system with EHP5 . What would be the problems i encounter. kindly suggest me..
    thanks,
    Raghu

I would expect in any case that there is no problem when you transport WDA build from ehp3 to ehp5 (Backward compatibility ).

  • What is best practice for integration with freight forwarders?

    Hello,
We are looking into the possibilities for automatically exchanging data with one of our freight forwarders. We will send them our shipment information and they will send back shipment status and date information including some additional information like the house bill. Sending the shipment data from our SAP (ECC 6) system is no issue, we have done that before. What is new to us is receiving back the status updates from the forwarder. Is there a kind of best practice of where to store this information on the shipment (or in a separate tabel) and what standard function module or BADI to use for this?
We are using ECC 6.0 sales and distribution, but no transportation management or SCM modules.
Would, like to hear the experiences of people who have done this type of intergration with their forwarders.
    Regards,
    Ed

SAP have added SAP TM 8.10 as a separate package which is also integrated with R/3 which means, a separate server is required if SAP TM needs to be implemented which will take care of your expectations.  For more information on this, search in Google so that you will get couple of documentations on this topic.

  • MM Configuration for integration with SAP SNC

    Hi,
I need to make MM configuration required to support PO collaboration and SMI process integrating with SAP SNC.
ANy kind of information would be very much helpdull
    Thanks
    Vikas

    Hi Vikas,
MM configuration for PO collaboration is depend upon the your requirements. e.g. You want to upload the confirmations send by the supplier from SNC web UI to your R/3 system you have to use confirmation control key while creating PO in R/3 and make corresponding supplier confirmation control either optional or mandatory in SNC configuration. Default provided by SAP is optional.
Remember supplier can create confirmations only if ther either optional or mandatory.

  • Diff between BSP and WEBDYNPRO FOR ABAP?

    Hi All,
can anyone let me know the Difference between BSP's and WEBDYNPRO FOR ABAP.
    Regards,
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
In truth, Web Dynpro contains many of the enhancements than BSPs....like built-in value-help and select options...... they
will become standard in Web Dynpro. But these can also be added to BSPs also.
There are several architectural differences between BSP and WDA. WDA has some advanced features but more restrictive framework compared to BSP.
WDA is stateful only. While BSP supports both stateful and stateless programming models.
WDA doesn't aloow us to use our own custom HTML, JavaScript or other controls. To provide compatibility the rendering logic is completely hidden from the developer.
On the other hand, BSP has no such restrictions and allows an extreme level of custom rendering. This makes BSP a perfect platform for applications that require pixel-perfect layout or specialized UI elements.

  • BSP or WebDynpro for RF transactions?

For WM RF transactions, tipically, custom transactions are created from scratch (most of the time) in ABAP and seen in the RF devices using SAPConnector (either text based or html (SAPWEBConsole).
For the latter, the SAP transactions are shown in internet explorer. Since a very simple html translation takes place in the SAP Web Console, the display is very simple and customizing is very limited (no icons, no font sizes, etc.).
Have you considered or heard of using BSP or Webdynpro as development tools for RF transactions? I know it sounds like an overkill, but given the fact that probably all transactions will be custom made and these tools give more customizing options, would it be reasonable to consider this development path?
Webdynpro should be simpler than ABAP screen programming.(at least in simple screen processing, the case for RF transactions).
    Any comments?

Both webdynpro and BSP call ABAP function modules from HTTP.
The BSP interface does this via programming in SE80, the webdynpro does this via programming in the Java development workbench.
The BSP enters the SAP systenm via the ICM and is 'routed' to ICF where call are then made to executre ABAP (a good example is we use SOAP BSP's). Webdynpro routes via the ICM to the Java engine which then executes the Java to cann the functions via an RFC interface called a JCo connection.
Another difference to note is SAP is now dedicated to using webdynpro as its internet platform of the future. This indicates that it aims to eventually retire such things as ITS and BSP.
if it may be useful rewards points are appreciated

  • Is there a template for integrating with Twilio?

Is there a template that can be purchased for easily integrating with Twilio?

Unlike wordpress templates, BC templates don't touch the server, there is no serverside code included in a template that could interface with the REST or XML interfaces of Twilio.
With that said, you can build a middle man server that talks to both BC's API and Twilio's and get it all done. You would have to build it yourself or hire someone to build it for you (raises hand), price would depend on what you wanted to do.

  • Technical insight for integration with Remedy?!

Does anyone got technical insight of how IDM is integrated with Remedy? Does it use e.g. Remedy EIE?
Any details would be highly appriciated.
    //L

you can set a http (exteranl ) break point inside the BAPI and then call the WS (the user executing and the client needs to be the same)

  • Documentation for Integrating with Peoplesoft

does anyone know where I can access the technical documentation our developers need in order to develop an integration with the Peoplesoft application?  We have a client who currently uses PeopleSoft and they asked we integrate with PeopleSoft so they can send orders to us and receive results.

Unless you are familiar with PeopleSoft, I would think your client should guide you in this integration. PeopleSoft has various ways to communicate with the "outside" world and I can give you the link to the PeopleTools PeopleBooks (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17566_01/epm91pbr0/eng/psbooks/psft_homepage.htm) but I highly doubt that will help you when you don't have any experience with PeopleSoft.
Easiest option with sending to an outside application and receiving results is, in my opinion, still a webservice. But then your client should do some work as well otherwise they will never be able to send anything at all. Direct link to documentation on PeopleTools 8.52 would be http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E41509_01/pt852pbh2/eng/psbooks/tibr/book.htm

  • Online Meet 15. Is XI mandatory or optional for integration with mySAP ERP?

no but if you use XI you can get a predefined set
(xi content) for the AII integration
so you get an out of the box scenario
    Regards,
    michal

    hi,
If u want to call an RFC or so from an R3 system , then XI is the way to do it...
ERIC's words on the meeting were " XI is there for integration , so y not try and use it for ease.."

Perhaps you should have a closer look at the links you provided.  They don't have anything to do with WDA and Portal.  The first one is a dead link.  The second one is a 4 year old presentation on the Portal in general who's only mention of WDA is that it is "planned".  Your third link is the PDF or .NET and Java and once again has absolutely nothing to do with WDA.
