BSR Code in New Form 16A

Hello Gurus,
I have applied BSR Code notes like 1299729, 1447618, 1491687, 948616, but still BSR Code is not displaying in Form 16A while printing through J1INCERT.
I have maintained BSE Code in Tax Number 1 filed in Table V_T012. Some consultants said that you need to maintain BSR Code in Brnch field.
Can anyone tell me how and where do i maintain this? However, there is already some value in branch field eg 12003 but this value is also not getting displayed in Form 16A.

Hi Mike / Gaurav,
Both of you have different viewpoints in maintaining BSR Code. Therefore, in order to respect both of u, i assigned BSR Code in both fields i.e Tax Number 1 field in FI12 and Branch field in FI02.
But purpose is not yet solved. TDS certificate is not displaying BSR Code. All other details are coming like tax deposited, tax deposited date, challan serial number but BSR Code is blank.
Mike - Just to update you that I have used the correct bank key and i have also checked the Bank GL code assigned to it and cleared the TDS amount in J1INCHLN through that Bank GL Code only.
Kindly help, or tell me any good note.

Hi Experts,
We have implemented SAP notes, and technically we do not have any issue in printing form 16a for vendors in new format. Only issue is, this new form 16 prints 3 pages & my tax guys wants it in one page where ever possible.
My question is, which one is advisable : direclty do the changes in standard sap form, or copy this and do the changes.
And
If I should copy from POriginal and do the changes, then wherever I have to change the form name?

Code works on new form not on older form

Hi
I am trying to change an existing form (add some code). I tested the code in a new form I create on my computer but when I do the same on a form supplied and created on a different computer the code won't work
What I see is that the form properties of a new form on my computer give Version 9.xxx and on the form that was created on the other computer the Version is listed as 8.xx
Anyone know how I can convert the Version 8.xx file to a Version 9.xx?
Or someone know how to set a EnclosedOption group from optional to required in Version 8? In version 9 I use Gender.validate.nullTest="error" or Gender.validate.nullTest="disabled" but this doesn't work on the old Version 8.xx PDF File.
Help greatly appreciated!

Two more questions if i may.
In the Dynamic version that you sent me we ended up with the entire ExclusionGroup with a large red box around it where in the static each option used to have the Red instead. And it seems to be a very thick red box.
1) Is there anyway to control the width of the Red Box?
2)I switched the version that you sent me back to "Static" and then in the verification options added "color fields" and this gives us the functionality that we originally wanted.
The challenge with this solution is that the "page # of ##" on the master page doesn't render.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How can i change the code in when new form instance trigger using JDAPI

Can anyone tell me how can i use JDAPI to modify the when-new-form-instance trigger in all my forms,coz we have around 500 FMB's ,if this is possible by using jdapi it will be better for us..

Hi Najeeb,
The code I've given you should cover the basic steps - you will need to have a basic knowledge of Java if you want to use the JDAPI, there's no way around that unless you go and buy one of the off-the-shelf products for this kind of thing (I think there's one called orcltoolbox..?)
I've written an application that does all kinds of things to Forms specific to our needs, so it's a bit tricky to just pull out the code you need, but again, the basics will be:

Eric - that's a very good point about using Regular Expressions. I haven't used them in my JDAPI app because I wanted to keep all my .fmbs 6i-compatible for the short-term, and a posting I saw somewhere recommended sticking to Java 1.3. Which rules out the regex facility, which only appeared in Java 1.4. Now, though, I think I needn't have worried - it surely shouldn't matter which version of Java I use to make the changes to the .fmbs. My stupid!

I have a question. We are analysing the implementation requirement of Note 1486147 ( New Form Layout for 16A however stucked with a new message which required to be maintained in CLass J1IN. We do not have this class available in SAP and not sure if there is another OSS note for that or this will be maintained in Service Pack. I am new to this Client and what I can confirm that since last many month , Finance service packs have not been applied here.
Please help. Also if somebody has worked on this, can give me the contact numbers, it would be great.

TDS Certificate, Challan Payment Issue and BSR Code Issue

Hi All,
I have configured Extended withholding tax as follows and encountered some issues
1. Specify Document Type (Accounts Payable): Here I have given Document type as SA and I am able to Pay the remittance challan through Post Vendor challan transaction.
MY question is How can I update my check no. I tried to update through FCH5 But it is showing no data.
2. Form 16A Certificate: How the field Cheque / DD No (If Any) gets updated?
3. BSR Code in Form 16A: I have maintained Bank branch in FI02. and made the remittance challan through that bank.
but still my BSR Code is not updating in Form 16A.
4. Form 16A Certificate: How does the Quarter Acknowledgement No field gets updated?
Kindly provide me the solutions for the above queries.

Please check entries in the number ranges that needs to be maintained for WT certificates.
Financial Accounting (New) - Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) - Withholding Tax - Extended Withholding Tax - Posting - India - Withholding Tax Certificates for Vendors and Customers - Maintain Number Ranges
And also check its assignment.

BSR code for TDS certificate purpose

I have maintained BSR code in *Bank branch fields of Bank key* for TDS certificate purpose , But it is not updating correctly in Form 16A (TDS certificate ) and Bank Key has updating instead of BSR code . Please suggest me any other filed is there for BSR code or any other reason this is not populating .

xsl:if test="ddwrt:IfHasRights(16)" no longer working in a New form

Hello all -
We have a list with some fields hidden for normal users, but approvers have edit access to these fields. The list has been working fine with the new,edit, and view forms all working as expected for over a year. BTW, this is on a Sharepoint Online site.
Somehow, over this last weekend, although no changes were made to any of the forms, the New item form no longer works, but rather comes up with an "unable to display this web part" error.
So, in doing some troubleshooting, I created a new form for the list and confirmed that the new default form works fine. I then added in just the code for hiding a field and immediately the form came up with the "unable to display this web part"
error.
Is this functionality no longer supported?
btw, here's the code I tested in the new form:

I have reproduced when I use this function for a field of a list from SharePoint online site, however it couldn't be reproduced from SharePoint on-premise.
Not sure if SharePoint online update causing this, since we cannot check the ULS log according to the Correlation ID, I would recommend you post this issue in Office365 SharePoint Online forum via the following link, you can get a better assistance
regarding SharePoint Online issue and there may be possible to involve the back-end support engineer to look into the issue.

WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger does not fire

Hi,
Does anyone have any idea why code placed in the when-new-form-instance trigger appears to be ignored when the form is executed from one login but runs fine when executed from another? A breakpoint on the first executable line of code in the trigger confirms that the trigger is not being fired.

Hi again Duncan,
I was able to solve it once I ran the form with the Forms Runtime Diagnostics enabled. I had a table in my schema containing old data used to build menu items. This was causing runtime errors to occur during calls to SET_MENU_ITEM_PROPERTY that were not being propagated to the UI so I didn't know they were occuring.
The upshot was that the WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger was not firing. Once I corrected the data it worked a treat.

Populate two poplist items on when-new-form-instance trigger

I have a simple form with some text-items, datetime items, two poplist items and two buttons (exit and save to database).
Everything works well except the second poplist wont get populated. After wrote the code for the first i just wrote a similar one for the second poplist. Each poplist fetches its data from different tables. Nothing changed when i tried different list-item types (first worked, second didnt).
Here is the code in the when-new-form-instance trigger:

You cannot use java directly inside forms. You can either create a java-bean to enhance the GUI (as you have some UI-components in your java-code, i guess this would be the direction) or use the java-importer and call server-side-java. Both require that you are running forms in a web-version and not as client-server.
What exactly is your requirement?

WebUtil doesn't work when called from WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger

I need WEBUTIL_CLIENTINFO functions to know some information from the client, like IP, JavaVersion, Hostname, OS user, etc. This functions I call through WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE TRIGGER and this doesn't nor work. I obtain the next message and error:
oracle/forms/webutil/clientinfo/GetClientInfo.class not found. WEBUTIL_CLIENTINFO.GET_IP_ADDRESS.
But when I call this WebUtil functions through WHEN-WINDOW-ACTIVATED trigger or through a button it works. Why?. I need call WebUtils in the WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger!
Any help will be of great value.

If you look in the wnfi trigger you will see this...

Not able to see the new form in Portal

Hi Experts
I have configured a new HR Form (Adobe) using HRASR_DT and the other SPRO links in ECC but when i log on to Portal I do not see this new form. I have configured the Process for the ISR Scenario same as the other forms but other forms are visible on the Portal UI but not this newly developed form. What could bw the reason for it?
I have validated the security roles etc.
Can anyone help me with what config/code I am missing?

Is it possible to embed logo in QR code which is formed as a part of paper forms barcode?

I am trying to embed logo in the QR code. But I am not finding any options for this in LC.
Is it possible anyway?

Hi thumper, if you have access to InfoPath, you can add the form to a page using the InfoPath web part. Otherwise, use SP Designer with instructions below:
