BT 1571 Doesn't answer my calls?

Hi,
I've had 1571 activated for some time now but have realised it doesn't answer incoming calls if I don't pick up? I believe it should pick up after 6 rings but it never does, not even after 20-30 rings.
If I dial 1571 from my phone it says I have no message and asks if I want to record a personal greeting so the service is on. I don't have an answerphone either is just a standard BT Calypso 120 Twin Cordless.
Any ideas? Anyone I can email about this? I don't think I can bear phoning up to go through something so trivial, I'd rather email someone and have them look into it

Apparently apart from having 1571 turned off and buying an new phone/answering machine,
there's nothing I can do (or is there) , except walk around house or garden with my phone in my pocket

If you paid for BT Call Minder as apposed to BT Answer 1571 you have the option to extend the ring answer time. i believe up to 11 rings.

Yeah, I know I can restore it, but I might as well go ahead and try. I just finished a backup for icloud and itunes to make sure, I'll go ahead and restore it and set it up as new and see how that works. Seems like I have no other options at this point, I'd still like to know what they did with the Download tab in itunes store, if they removed it or if I'm just overlooking it.

Turn the volume up... in call volume and sounds (ring, notifications, etc) are seperate volume controls.

Upgrade to IOS 6.1 - all incoming calls come in as a call waiting call when there is no other call going on, and it won't let me actually answer the call.

I upgraded my AT&T iPhone 4 from IOS 6.0.1 to IOS 6.1 on Monday evening. It completed successfully overnight and everything looked good on Tuesday morning until I received my first call. When the phone rang, the screen showed the typical 'call waiting' screen, asking me if I wanted to 'End Call and Answer', 'Ignore Call', or 'Hold Call and Answer'. Using any of the selections still does not allow the call to be answered. It takes a hard reboot to clear the call.
If I make an outgoing call, the phone hangs on the 'End Call' portion. It shows the button being pressed and that it is ending the call, but it doesn't ever end. It also takes a hard reboot to clear the call.
So, I have tried hard reboots of the phone, without any success. Last night, I tried to reset the phone to factory settings and restored my phone content from iTunes. Unfortunately, I still was having the issue. I have also tried restoring the Network Settings, and that did not work as well.
Has anyone seen any similar behavior and have any advice?

A brief and probably non-helpful answer: I know of no way to eliminate your large amount of duplicates other than by repetitive, tedious manual effort.

Have her check her "You can be received at ..." settings (Settings/ FaceTime) to see what she's set up as the points of contact to reach her via FaceTime (can be one or multiple e-mails or a phone number). Perhaps you're trying to FaceTime her on an e-mail or phone number which she's not using for FaceTime.

Try opening iTunes while holding down the option key. When you get a dialog box with "create a new library" or "choose a library", select the choose option and navigate to the library on your external HD.
BTW: If your external HD is not powered on and mounted before opening itunes, iTunes will create a new blank library.

Can't switch over to answer incoming calls on my white 4s

I am having difficulty click over to answer calls or even hanging up calls. I have to press the button constantly to get it to work. By then, I have lost the call. My sister has an iPhone 4s black and she is having the same issue. I wasn't having that problem when I had the 4 with the new update but I am having an issue now!

I have the same problem with my new droid incredible. I've taken the battery out and restarted several times. The scenario is that my phone is in my pocket, someone calls, it prompts me to slide the bar up or down to answer or ignore......then i get a completely unresponsive screen. It will not answer my call.
This is definitely unacceptable. I can't have a phone that doesn't answer calls. This has happened a dozen times in the past 3 weeks.

The microphone on my Droid Bionic doesn't work on calls, Google search, or voice to text. It does work when I record video and when I do a voice to text, the phone is registering that it is hearing sound (mic icon flashes) but it does not write anything down. I've heard it's because a critical update hasn't been run, but I cannot find a way to check.

Good point Tik on my Razr I had similar issues and I cured the issue by simply power cycling and as soon as my Razr came back on and settled I power cycled it again that what helped my little guy.. and make sure to check all your sound settings b33

UC320 Auto Attendant answering delayed calls to fast.

I recently deployed a UC320W with the latest firmware upgrade (2.3.2). My trouble is the auto-attendant intermittently answers delayed ringing calls on the first or second ring no matter what the timer is set to (which is 25 sec.). Doesn't seem to be any particular line. There are 4 FXOs on the UC320 and a 5th FXO on a SPA8800. They are all configured as shared FXOs in key system fassion. I've done impedance matching on all 5 FXO lines.
This has happened twice before and I was able to workaround by downgrading firmware to 2.2.2.
I can't do that in this case, however, because a few of my phones are SPA512Gs, which, it's my understanding, only work with the 2.3.2 firmware.
Right now, I simply have the delayed ringing disabled.
We have another technician in another state that tells me he has run into the same issue as well.
Any suggestions?

Please clarify the issue you are having.
My understanding is that you have 5 FXO lines configured as shared FXO lines and call is forwarded if no answer to AA, timer is set to 25 seconds. AA answers the call intermittently on the first or second ringing before 25 seconds timer expries.
Please send me UC320w feedback at Services (on the top of configure utility) -> feedback, put "attention [email protected]" at Issues or Suggestions section. So that I will be able to look into your configuration and understand your issue better.
