BT bb option 1 while I wait for infinity engineer

Just joined BT activation date for bb is now 20th after first date came and went with no bb. I was just looking on the website at my services and I've found out that I will be on BT bb option 1 while I wait for a BT infinity engineer to install that part! Now I noticed that there is a 10g usage limit on this package and I know I will far exceed this in the 4 weeks waiting for the engineer. I have been informed that no charges occur in the first month got exceeding this limit, but is this true and will my bb service stop if I go over the 10gb usage limit?? Advice would be much appreciated! Cheers!

yes that is true for the first month you go over limit there is no excess charge and no if you go over it does not stop

Is there a way to stop the OS from switching to a newly opened app?  I would like to be able to continue what I'm doing while I wait for an app to launch and not get interrupted by a forced entry into the app.
As an example, I'm going to my email in safari, while I wait for it to load, I open an excel document, and the OS decides excel should be the front app, so I go back to safari so I can enter my login info, but halfway through my password the OS decides that excel is where I should finish typing my password.
VERY ANNOYING.  Can I open apps in the background?

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. J D, I'm not a terminal fan, but I'm sure it works.  I found a solution that I can use in the dock from another post.

Works great and allows me to maximize those multitasking minutes.

  • Why does Firefox on my Windows 7 PC hang (become unresponsive) while it waits for most pages to load or run scripts?

Firefox hangs (becomes unresponsive) when accessing many sites including Gmail. Eventually, when hung, Firefox will throw up a window saying "WARNING: A script has become unresponsive" or, in the case of Gmail, the page itself will say "Some Gmail features have failed to load due to an internet connectivity problem."
IE8 and Google Chrome are working normally. I've tried Firefox in safe mode, re-installing and even running Firefox portable from a USB thumb drive. Each time with the same result—Firefox hangs or becomes unresponsive while it waits for most pages to load or run scripts.

Your problem sounds like the one that a co-worker and I started to have about the same time. Check your Symantec client management control log. You might see a line like the following.
Date and Time Severity Level Action Test / Production Description API Class Rule Caller Process ID Caller Process Parameter User
2012-07-30 10:48:09 AM 15 Block Production Unauthorized NT call rejected by protection driver. System Built-in rule 1608 FlashplayerPlu FuncID-B6H, R... None
At first we thought that it was a Javascript problem until we noticed this log. The key words are 'Block' and 'FlashPlayerPlu'. This problem recently started for us, perhaps with a software push 1-2 weeks ago. Internet Explorer does not hang when accessing pages with Flash.
The Flash page does eventually load after a long time. However, since the whole browser hangs for a while, for the most part having the Flash plugin enabled makes Firefox unusable if accessing pages with Flash.
Disabling the Flash plugin solves the hanging problem, but I do not know what is causing the problem, nor do I know when a combination of Windows 7, Flash, and Symantec will work. Your later version of Symantec shows that we might have the problem for a while, but I do not know what customization CSC did with Symantec. My coworker did run a complete virus scan, uncovering nothing. Another co-worker is running Windows XP. She does not have the problem, but I do not know what other versions of software she is running.

Through iCloud, a user is able to share (and sync) all content between iOS devices (and Macs), including messages.
    • Syncing between iOS devices
If you have an iPad or iPod touch, activating iCloud in those devices with the same iCloud account of your iPhone will allow the text messages you initially recieve from your phone to be delivered to the additional devices.
    ➞ Limitations
The caller must be an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) user.
The caller must be sending the text to your iCloud account (e-mail address), not your phone number.
    • Syncing to your Mac
If you have a Mac (iMac, Macbook, Mac mini, etc), 'Messages Beta for OS X' will allow your computer to act as a text messaging machine, as well ― just like your iPhone.
    ➞ Limitations
The caller must be an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) user.
The caller must be sending the text to your iCloud account (e-mail address), not your phone number.
Unfortunately, phone calls, which all of the other iOS devices, except iPhones, don't have, cannot be received.

  • Waiting for Infinity!

When I checked early in the year, BT was advising that BT Infinity would be available in my area (Swindon) at the end of March. When I checked at the end of March they advised that the date would be the end of June. At the end of June, the advice was that it would happen at the end of September. I checked again this morning, and they are now saying that the implementation date will be the end of December. I am beginning now to understand why they are calling it Infinity - the implementation date seems to stretch into infinity. Seriously. can anyone explain why they are proceeding in this way - it is very frustrating. Thanks

Just as bad in my region.
GRAYS THURROCK was originally listed as DEC 2011.
I rang to enquire about it a few months ago as there was an option to get VIRGIN cable on a deal.
BT confirmed this date was 'probably right' I decided to wait.
Then an updated list was published & my exchange moved to 2012.
I rang to ask what was happening, but they were very vague!
They thought March, but it might be June.
Now the latest list is just out & its DECEMBER 2012, that's a year late & counting.
    This lot couldn't organise a p*ss-up in a brewery!
Waiting for the next VIRGIN offer & I will be taking it!

  • Error while completing Wait for event step

    Hi Gurus,
I have a Workflow developed which has a "Wait for Event" step.
In that step,I am facing a problem .It seems the step is not getting completed properly.
When I check in SWEL it shows the Event is triggered. But the next which is a 'Send Mail' step is not getting executed.
The Event shows action status as "Receiver started correctly".
When i executed "Complete Manually " in SWIA,it executed correctly and also the further steps got executed.
What could be the issue ?
    Many Thanks in advance !
    Regards,
    Ameya Kulkarni

    Hello Ameya !
To one of my replies to this thread you have stated that no container elements are configured to wait for event step.
Without business object, event and container element with object reference, wait for event will not fire.
When the user changes the status in KO02, event fires and is seen in SWEL.But, if it should reflect in workflow, afore- mentioned details needs to be configured in wait for event step.
Have you configured this wait for event step with event 2 ?
    Regards,
    S.Suresh

  • How can I make a while loop wait for input boolean?

    Hi.
I'm trying to control a robotic arm with labview for my undergrad dissertation, and I have a decent polar coordinate control panel made, but there is one problem; it checks for changes in the coordinates every five seconds, while I want it to only check on the touch of a button (ie, go!, I've changed your coordinates!). The changes are calculated with a while loop comparing the last value of theta, x and z in a while loop with the current one. I can't find a way of putting that into a case structure. If there is a way of making the while loop progress at the push of a button, I think it would work. The VI's attached below.
Thanks in advance for any help.
    Cathal Scanlon
ps, sorry about the mess, I'm going to reorganise the while loop into 2 if I can get the control button working.

Have you tried using an event structure? To use one, right click on the structure to add an event. Set the event as whatever button you wish to monitor and set the event to "Value Change". If you put this inside a while loop any time the button is pressed, the event structure will run the contents inside the loop. There are a number of options to have the event structure activate.
*** Warning! I'm probably the last guy you want answering your labVIEW questions, but I figured I might be able to help.

  • Can I receive another message while already waiting for a message in bpm?

    Hello,
I am implementing the following scenario in bpm, Allow user to send mutiple Order Change idocs amlost at the same time without a response yet, the second, third and so on idocs will be ignored, once the response comes, the first Order Change idoc will be processed, if the response does not match change request message, another order change idoc will be triggered, and all this should happen under one process instance if PO number is same, I am using PO number to corrleating response message with Order Change idoc.
I use a fork statement while wating for response after first Order Change idoc being received into bpm and forward to seller(File Adapter simulation). In branch 1, I use a infinite loop to receive OrderChange messages(ignore them), in branch 2, I use another receive step to receive Order Response message. the problem is when I an send order response , I got the following error in bpm: Unable to deleiver event ‘Received’ of object ‘ZXI_PROXY_ORDERESPONSE_0001, and I checked the trace in xi messagae monitor, it gave error: Async barrier reached. Bye-bye !
    Anybody has any suggestions?

  • While you wait for iOS 7, download iTunes 11.1

For iOS 7 compatibility, you will want to download and instal iTunes 11.1. See this link.
Sync with iOS 7. You can now use iTunes to sync your favorite music, movies, and more to devices with iOS 7. In addition, iTunes now makes it even easier to quickly organize and sync apps to your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
iOS 7 is expected to arrive for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch around 10 a.m. Pacific, 1 p.m. Eastern, based on Apple's previous release schedules. It will be available through iTunes 11.1, as well as the Software Update section of the iOS Settings application.

12:55 eastern.  Still no iTunes 11.1 or iOS 7.  I'll keep checking.

  • Can I close iBooks Author while I wait for approval for account to get iTunes Producer?

I am new to the IBooks Author and I am awaiting approval, but I want to be able to close window. If I do will I be able to get back to the same area I left off when I get the confirmation?

IBooks Author is used to create your books and needs no "registration" or approval...so yes you can closr it.
iTunes Producer is used to upload your book to the review team and eventually into the iBooks store.
Unless you have either a free noks account or a psid books account, you will not need to bother too much about iTunes Producer.
Have you applied for a free book or psid book account yet?

  • What to do while I wait for the new battery?

The recall website says to not use the old battery, but it's going to take 4-6 weeks to get a new one, so what should I do to cover up the empty spot on the bottom of my computer? I thought about using the battery and just making sure the computer's plugged in all the time, but alas I have no idea where my dad put the battery...Any ideas of what will keep the dust out of the empty spot without ruining my computer?

If it were me I would keep using the battery and not remove it from the computer. The chances of something happening are infinitesimal. There's way too much "chicken little" hand wringing over this. Out of the MILLIONS of batteries covered by this exchange Apple only received nine reports of overheating. The law of averages is most assuredly on your side. You are overwhelmingly more likely to get injured in an automobile accident than by an overheated battery. Your PowerBook is overwhelmingly more likely to be damaged by you dropping it than your battery overheating.

  • 101 things to do while waiting for a line connecti...

Having had it confirmed that we are to get a phone on 1st March I feel in a strange sense of Limbo - no longer do I have to look up the info regarding USO's and I feel like I've got nothing to do. The online tracking says they'll send my new phones on 3rd Feb, and router on 1st March, and the order will 'complete' on 1st March, even though Openreach are only coming out to do the first visit on March 1st - so, what do I do now - need occupying but feel like I'm achieving something, and it's raining, boy is it raining...
So, suggestions please for what to do while I wait for the engineers to rock up?
