BT bill charges for non service during moving hous...

BT dreadful customer service & incompetence
Hi all,
After deciding to move home I made the necessary arrangements with BT prior to our moving date. Our switch over date was 14th November 2014.
After numerous calls with BT and mostly dealing with multiple BT operators with little knowledge, poor communication skills, lack of interest and on a few occasions extreme rudeness, I was still no further forward with a line connection date.
It became apparent that there was no line services to my new home, which I could understand although I was disappointed not to have been informed of the situation prior to my moving home (a fact BT should be easily aware of)
I spent weeks going round and round with no clear outcomes or specific information returning to me, I actually knew more information from the site builders than BT knew, BT even had the arrogance to tell me that my information from the builders was incorrect (which it wasn't)
Numerous misinformation, conflicting information, non returning of calls, engineer dates that were not upheld, non required engineer dates are amongst a series of frustrating dealings with the vast majority of the BT operators, there were only a few operators that seemed to care and assist and they were at the end of my ordeal of 3 months!!!!!
It was very clear that the information from each phone call between myself and BT was not correctly recorded. On two separate occasions during a singular phone call I actually had to repeat my situation to three separate operators to which I had become accustomed to being transferred amongst.
So to be clear from 14th November 2014 until late February 2015 we were without services.
During one of my many and expensive mobile phone calls to BT I was advised to set up my own mobile broadband and they would foot the bill and repay the expense until they provided a service.
(Which I did as I had no confidence in a connection date within months)
Throughout this ordeal BT had the arrogance to attempt to bill me, even though we had no service!!!!
Here is the kicker.
BT have now disconnected us from their service (31st March2015) for an unpaid bill, a bill we can't get amended and corrected to reflect the 3 months without their incompetent service.
They have even added charges for BT sports which I can't even watch as I have no viewing box, I believe this came free for 6 months) with my original package.
Even this is an issue. I was informed upon moving house that a new contract would commence when I moved home thus starting the 6 months free BT sports package once more (yet another mistake by BT)
We will not pay any form of bill until they amend and correct the bill to reflect we had no service for 3 months.
I have now tried to call to speak to an operator regarding the issue, after entering my home phone number the BT automated service redirects me to the only option which is to pay the outstanding bill!!!
No bill will be paid until it is corrected, I will be sending a bill for the mobile broadband I required to set up and maintain. I am also considering looking into the loss of earnings I suffered due to the length of time I was offline, as well as the amount of time required to deal with the sorry mess. A stressful time enough moving home without this added fiasco.
I am also aware of the Ofcom regulatory body as well as the multiple rules BT will have breached in our contract.
All in all we have endured a long and needlessly complicated mess, which thinking was behind us, is in fact still present. We are seriously considering removing our service completely with BT which I am sure in the eyes of the law will be justified and legally binding due to the numbers of contract breaches sustained by BT.

  • Related resource billing. Separeted billing requests for each service order

    !!!!!! Dear Experts, help me!!!!
    The question's urgent!
I need to bill collectively for my service orders, which means I need to combine several service orders into one single billing request (debit memo request) during RRB.
I configured DIP profile, but DP95 creates individual billing requests separately for each service order.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi !
I hope you need to check it in copy control . Because there are some standard things which need to match for combine the invoice. like:-
    1:- Billing date,
    2:- Bill to party
    3:- payment terms,
4:- Bill to party master data ( i.e agree to combine the invoice) etc.
And aslo the copy control from the Order to Billing document in header does it allow you to combine or not.
    Hope it will help you.
let me know if anything required.
    Thanks

  • Charged for no service - STAY AWAY FROM BT THEY AR...

Ok so I decided to sign up for BT Infinity and tv package with BT sports in January. Was due to be installed on 23/01/2015.
I booked a half day off work for the installation and was impressed when the landline engineer called at 1.30pm. He told me that he was only doing the landline and another engineer would probably be out to do the TV.
Landline engineer worked away on the line and about 2.00pm I had a call from the TV engineer to say there was a fault in the line so would not be installing my tv. When I asked when he could install it he just said I don't know. From his attitude I could tell he wasn't bothered it was a Friday after noon so he just wanted to go home.
I was really annoyed with this as I had picked the Friday specifically and waited 3 weeks for installation for that Friday. I rang BT and asked them what was happening, I asked if he could come out on a Saturday to install the TV but I was told no they dont do Saturday installations. So I decided I wasnt going to go ahead with my installation and cancelled my order.
I was told to tell the landline engineer to leave as I was cancelling. I spoke to landline engineer and told him what I was doing. He then said he would speak to them as he was at the box the same time as the TV engineer and he didnt see any fault. The engineer spoke to customer services and told them I was cancelling my order.
As far as I was concerned that was it. My order was cancelled I was getting my refund of £90.71 and I would receive a bag to send the equipment back.
In February I received a bill for £22.41, I rang customer services as I still hadn't received my £90.71 and now they were billing me for a service I didn't ever have.
Result of call I got my £90.51 back and heard no more, great I thought that was easily sorted.
Wrong in March I got a final reminder for payment of £22.41, again I rang the lovely people in customer service and spoke to a very confused man who kept asking why I was being billed, this I thought was very amusing as that was my question to him. He said leave it with him and he would call my number back in 30 minutes. Guess what 30 minutes no call.
In my stupidity I assumed it had been sorted.
Last week I get a message from BPO to say ring this number immediately regarding BT. I rang the number and was put through to the most arrogant and ignorant woman I have ever had the misfortune to speak to.
I tried to explain my situation but she kept talking over me and in the end she said tough I was being billed for BT Sports as this should have been cancelled seperately. I told her noone ever explained that to me in all my communications with BT and she wasnt interested just advised me to pay up.
So today I rang BT to ask why this had gone to collections and what was my bill of £22.41 for. The nice lady told me she would look into it and transferred me to another nice lady. The 2nd nice lady said I should have contacted them before today!! I said I did and nothing happened. She explained that the £22.41 was for my landline charge. When I said I cancelled the day of the connection she said I needed to ring the nice people in BPO again as there was nothing she could do.
So now I have an outstanding bill of £22.41 plus admin fees of £5.60 from BT for nothing. BT think I just need to pay it and go away. Well as you can imagine I am fuming.
DO NOT USE BT AS THEY ARE THIEVES.

  • Is it necessary to create a Billing Plan for the Service Contracts

    Hi All,
Is it necessary to create a billing plan for the service contracts.
      My requirement.
In CRM 7.0, we created a service contract. For the item in that service contract there is a Billing Plan tab.
In that tab we have the dates for Period, Billing Date etc.
Now our requirement is to get the Billing Date quarterly. For this we created date rules and date profiles and assigned these date profiles to header and item level transactions.
And we are able to see the date rules under the drop down of the billing date.
I copied the standard date rule BILL004 to ZBILL004.
But when we changed to our date rule it is not changing to quarterly date.
Can you please let me know  what are the configurations to be done for this.
Is the billing plan has to be created for this kind of scenario.
    Thanks in advance
    Thanks and Regards,

  • If i allow acces to icloud, will i be charged for the service?

I allowed access to icloud in order to get my calendar to work, but do not want to be charged for this service. How will I know I will not be charged for this?

iCloud is free as long as you don't exceed the 5GB free storage limit.  (You would need to purchase extra storage on iCloud to exceed this limit.)

  • Charged for canceling service in first 30 days

Hi, all. In short: I cancelled my Comcast service within the first thirty days of a new plan.  I was told that I wouldn't owe anything if I cancelled within that time, not even termination fees.  However, Comcast is charging me over $40 for that month.  I need to know how to put a stop to that, or else they threaten to ruin my credit history by sending negative reports to the credit bureaus. Recently I changed from an old (non-promotional) plan on Comcast to a new one.  I did so in order to get a reduction in price from $155 per month.  The new plan gave me only a reduction of $15 per month and I was forced to take telephone service as well.  I was told I had thirty days to cancel the service without penalty.  I wouldn't be required to pay anything for those thirty days if I cancelled within that period as well. Comcast claims that I digitally signed an agreement to this effect online.  However, I only remember accepting some terms about E911 related to the phone service. In order to get me the new plan, the Comcast service tech had to sign me up for additional services, because she couldn't get her system to accept the plan as we discussed it.  The additional services pushed the monthly amount to around $190 per month.   I was told that I could cancel them later. A couple of days later, when I received confirmation of those additional services, I contacted Comcast again to cancel those services.  It took some time, but the technician got the job done. Over the period of the following thirty days, I found a better service provider for TV and Internet, so I switched to that and called Comcast to cancel my service.  I told the tech. on the phone that I was told I could cancel free of charge.  She disagreed.  After much arguing, she finally relented and said that I would probably get a refund check. Last week, I finally received a letter from Comcast, with a bill for over $40.  I think this is unfair and I need to get it stopped.  When I try to call them, they put me on hold for very long periods of time, then the technicians don't have access to my account history to verify my story.  I have chat transcripts of the conversations about the plan, but they're unable to accept the transcript files from me.  I think it's very convenient that the Comcast techs will say anything online or on the phone and claim to have transcripts or recordings of these communications, however, whenever I ask for something in my favor, the evidence mysteriously disappears.

Shafting the customer is in their business plan.  They hope that you will get so frustrated that you will just give in.  Better to just do what millions around the country are doing....cut the cord and go with just internet service only.  50Mbps is all you need to stream HD content and buy your own modem which will pay for itself in 9 months vs. Comcast's ridiculous rental fees.  $10/month for Hulu and about the same for Netflix.  You still get most of the content you're looking for without all the fees and headaches.  Good luck!

  • Being charged for cancelled service

I tried posting on your fb page and I don't see it there yet.  So I'll try this --  I just got my bill today and saw a $14.99 monthly charge for World Plan 300.  This is the plan I got in June 2013 for ONE MONTH while my children were travelling in Europe.  I requested one month, was actually pro-rated for just the time they were there (which was 3 weeks) , and in July 2013 I called back to make sure the charge was removed.  I was assured it had been.  Should I check my bill carefully?  Yes of course.  BUT, your representative told me the charge was removed and it wasn't!  So, they lied or are incompetent.  I paid for this service in Aug/Sept/Oct/Nov and Dec.  Are you kidding me?  $75 for something I NEVER used and had cancelled?  I asked your phone rep tonight and she assured me it was cancelled.  Well, the man on the phone in July told me it was cancelled, too.  Who do I believe?  I asked her tonight to connect me to someone who can credit my account for the service I cancelled and she said it was not possible.  Not possible to get back the money for something you didn't cancel??  This is shameful.
Any check of my account will show when the service was ordered, when I used my home phone to call Europe, and when I stopped using it.  I am disapointed that your company is satisfied with continuing to charge me for a service I had every reason to think was cancelled.  You TOLD me it was cancelled.  I added several Premium TV cable choices in August so the fact that the bill was higher didn't really register.
You have one deeply disapointed customer in me.
    Rose

I HAVE NEVER BEEN AS DISRESPECTED AS I HAVE BEEN BY VERIZON TODAY!!!!
I moved from MD TWO YEARS AGO and cancelled my bundled services (Phone, internet, and cable), but apparently someone at Verizon left the internet service on...I wasn't getting a bill and had Verizon service installed in my new home in TX, so I didn't think anything of it. When I recently ran my credit report, I noticed a negative from Verizon, when I called to investigate, after a 40 minute call, I was told I had to call the Finance department the next day to arrange payment for the $1100 I owed for the 23 months of internet service that they'd been charging me for.....
My first call started at 7am (PST)....after being told I was routed to the wrong department and transferred FOUR TIMES over an hour, I finally reached a supervisor who told me they would call me back....yeah right
So, when I called back this evening, and was transferred three more times, hung up on, put on hold (only to wait and then be disconnected), I reached an extremely rude "customer service" agent, who told me she would do me the courtesy of knocking off three months of the 23 month bill, but that I would be responsible for the rest, because she didn't see and record of a request being made to disconnect the service.
I REPEAT!!!!!   BUNDLE SERVICE!!!!!!  CABLE WAS CUT OF IN MARCH OF 2012!!!!!! PHONE WAS CUT OFF IN MARCH OF 2012!!!!   WHY WOULDN'T THE INTERNET HAVE BEEN CUT OFF AS WELL?????????
i AM EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED, ANGRY, AND I'VE NOW SPENT OVER 2.5 HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH VERIZON WITH NO END TO THIS NIGHTMARE IN SIGHT!!!!
CUSTOMER SER VICE DOES NOT MEAN ANSWERING THE PHONE AND PUTTING PEOPLE ON HOLD OVER AND OVER AGAIN.  IT DOES NOT MEAN TELLING A CUSTOMER, "I CAN'T HELP YOU"...
    IT MEANS HELPING THE CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Unexpected charge for Comcast service call

I had the same problem.  The service was down for 3 weeks and the techs kept hanging off the phone when they couldn't resolve the problem.  I finally had to go in person and they found out the modem was bad, but after that, two more weeks until we had the Internet back.

I signed up for comcast internet back in April 2013 and had issues with it up until Feb 2014. I initially started out with a bill of 29.95 a month, then aftert 6 months it went to 44.95, and then I get a call that it is going up to 69.95 6 months after it went to 44.95. Well I was approached by a rep in Best Buy about Comcast services. He was able to get me the triple play package (phone, internet, and cable) for 79.95 a month. I jumped on this deal thinking the internet issues may be resolved when I upgraded. Well turns out I need a special modem for the phone and only one digital set top box is included in the price. So I ended up with another 17.95 in equipment fees added to my bill. The internet became even worse after upgrading. The new modem they supplied me would release and renew my IP address every 30 mins. This made doing any kind of online gaming impossible as I would drop my connection for 2 mins every 30 mins. I ended up having to take the modem back and have them swap it for a new one. The new one droped the internet connection randomly throughout the day at 8 past the hour. I called customer support and after a few hours of bouncing around from person to person I got someone that had me go in and change the default settings of the modem to something else to resolve the issue. At this point I am happy because I have a continuous internet connection. After a few hours of playing online I am randomly hit with intermittent lag spikes. I use speedtest.net to check my connection and it is erradict, sometimes it is over 38mbps and others less than 1 mbps. I pay for 50 mbps. I call to have this issue resolved and they try everything they can think of over the phone and finally say they will have to send out a tech to trouble shoot the problem further. I schedule the appointment and the tech comes out, he was not dressed in any kind of uniform and did not have identification on him that was visible. I would not have known it was a comcast tech if the truck didnt show comcast and xfinity on the sides. He comes in and takes a look at the coaxial comming out of the back of my modem and runs a check on it. He says the coaxial cable is bad and replaces it with another piece of coaxial cable I had lying around. He says that fixed the issue and leaves. He did not even check anything else outside. Just replaces a coaxial cable that comcast sent me in a self install kit and says its bad. Needless to say my issue was not resolved. I called and again they scheduled another visit for a tech to come out. The tech shows up and spends around 30 mins checking everything outside only to find no problems. He makes a 55 ft ethernet cable and has me connect my computer directly to the modem. Hey my problem is solved. I have a stable internet connection. What good is an all in one cable modem if it does not work. I ended up having to move my room and computer around so that the computer was right next to the cable modem ( I could have left the 55 ft ethernet cable running around the room but did not feel like looking at it). I get charged 39.95 service call for the visit, when the tech did not fix the problem he only found a work around. The wireless connections of tables, phones, or other computers is very erradict. I have a strong internet connection on 1 and only 1 of my computers. I called and complained about the 39.95 charge and they refunded the 39.95 charge but not the 1.91 in taxes that was charged as a result of the 39.95 charge. What gives?

  • Complaint re charges for no service

When traveling in France I could not connect to Skype. After numerous tries I gave up. This was very frustrating. Then I was charged for all those tries where I could not be heard at all!! There is no where to make a specific complaint about this.

I can't agree with Lee Jay. My experience buying product direct from Adobe has been extremely good. I even ordered the wrong product ( an Adobe font set) and was able to call back two hours later an get the order cancelled and downloaded the correct font package with no issues.
Doing business in other countries has different licensing restrictions, taxes, duties, and higher business operations cost. Here's a good example:
    http://www.zdnet.co.uk/news/it-at-work/2010/04/12/uk-users-pay-a-premium-for-adobe-cs5-400 88600/
Adobe US customer service is probably instructed not to accept orders for product being physically shipped to another country.  If you had ordered a Lightroom 3.0 download product using a credit card with a US address, Adobe wouldn't even know you were in Italy.

  • Iphone charge for non-activated iphone???

I have an iphone 4 that I can hear callers but they cannot hear me unless I put on speaker phone .   Verizon sent me another iphone but I have text messages, photos and videos that the Apple store has been unable to transfer to my iphone account. I have NEVER activated the NEW iphone, I am still using the annoying one that does not work, all of a sudden there is a $650 CHARGE ON MY BILL. I have sent several emails to customer support and NO response.  Has anyone encountered this situation? What is the policy on this? Thanx

As mentioned, if you did not return either the defective phone or the replacement sent to you within the allotted time (around 10 days I believe) then yes, you were charged for the full retail value of the device. You can't keep the replacement just because you didn't activate it. If you decided you would rather keep your defective device because you couldn't figure out how to back up your info (photos, text messages, and videos can be backed up by you on your computer and then added to the replacement device by restoring it with that backup. This info is available in the User Manual for the iPhone 4/4s that can be viewed via the Apple website) then you needed to return the replacement device. Otherwise, you elected to keep both devices and were rightfully charged for the 2nd device. This info would have also been included in the paperwork sent with the replacement device (instructing you on how much time you had to return the device). Also, normally when a rep tells you they are sending you a replacement device they will advise you that the defective one (or if you opt not to keep it, the one they sent you) must be returned using the return label included to avoid charges.
Not sure if you can convince them to reverse the charges if you kept the device past the allotted time but if you can then you need to decide if you want to continue using your defective device or if you want to use the replacement. Read the information about backing up and restoring iPhones in the manual or on the Apple website. This will help you if the only issue was you being able to transfer your items.

  • Charged for the service I do not want

I have skype service for unlimited US and Canada, recently I have found that they have charged my credit card for premium service which is $9.99, when I called they told me that I have to subscribe to $39.99 to get that resolved. I am not sure how 2 mistake can correct something?
They even told me to go to bank and dispute the charge if I want.
Does anyone has customer care number where I can get solution? How I can get this resolve?

    Hi,
I checked your account and found that the $9.99 charge has already been refunded. You also have your preferred subscription active on your account.

  • Returned Defective Phone. Shows delivered. My account is being charged for non returned phone.

I have called Verizon over and over again and it seems that your representatives get my story wrong every time. I returned a defective phone to your warehouse in Fort Worth, TX and it was delivered on August 26th 2014. I have called numerous times and provided the tracking info many times and I am still getting messages that a fee has been applied to my account.
I have doneseek  some research on the internet and it seems that your company is doing this to many of your customers. If this is not resolved and I am charged for a phone that has been returned, I will seek legal help and contact the news. I refuse to pay $599 for a phone I returned.

My sons phone was defective got a replacement from verizon.  Followed directions and was returned to Fort Worth Texas.   On November 3 2014   Was sent text on Nov 14  I was going to be charged if not returned.  Called they began a "ticket" to rectify the situation.   Today 12/27 spent over 3 hours.  Listening to someone tell me no mind you this is the third supervisor.  It is not Verizon's fault or responsibility until the phone is checked in.  And a refund can not be issued until it is.    We have begun the process AGAIN but that was only a few hours ago what did they expect them
To do.   So this has been going on for 2 months.   The proper ticket was only issued today.  again not their fault.  Who's fault is it?   This is insane.!   $449 is not chump change.  Did it ever occur to verizon to change procedure?!   How many customers have been fed up and just paid this?!

  • Billed for non service

Bt were supposed to install broadband and phone on 5th December but kept delaying and finally installed it on 12th February. In the meantime I have. Been billed for installation, even though I was told it would be free, billed from December to February for broadband even though I never had any service. I have rang numerous times and each time I was told I dont need to pay And ignore. But I was then getting late payment charges! I rang up again and was told they had no record of it and I had to pay. I spoke to cancellations and they told me they would wipe the bill, the cancellation team were English. A few days later, I get an email to say I need to pay my bill. Rang up and an Indian man said they had no record of my bill being wiped, but they will do it. So tonight (18.2.2015) I get a call from collections saying I will be cut off tomorrow for not paying my bill. If this doesn't get resolved I will be taking this up with watchdog or ofcom.
