BT Decor 2200 & 1571

This may help anyone with a problem with the 1571 indicator light on the Decor 2200 phone.
I bought the phone and found that the flashing green light that indicates you have a saved 1571 call was not working, so I returned it and got another.  This had the same fault.     Was it me?    No, if you wait some time, the light does start to flash, it just does not flash immediately after receiving the call.     Patience is a virtue..!!!

It does tell you that in the user guide, at least 2 minutes before the light flashes.

  • Decor 2200 Handsfree function

While using the handsfree facility on the Decor 2200 desk phone, we are experiencing regular cutouts. The other person can always be heard but often they can not hear us. I have read elsewhere (for another model) that handsfree works like a walkie talkie and can experience a brief interruption when switching conversation back and forth. This I find amazing on a modern telephone but still does not explain our fault. When cutouts happen, the other person can not hear us at all, sometimes for 5 or more seconds. This is not only irritating but completely unacceptable.
We have purchased two of these telephones this year as the model is otherwise excellent but we keep experiencing this problem. We have tested the phone by plugging it into another extension and still experience the same problem. I suppose it is possible there is a fault on the phone line or our domestic internal wiring.
I would like to know if there is any possible explanation or solution please.

  • Caller Display Decor 2200

My elderly Mum has bought herself a new phone with caller display so she knows who's ringing her but it doesn't seem to be working, we registered for Privacy at Home early on Thursday morning and it should have been active within 24 hours, I've checked she's got the full numbers entered (incl STD) and she has and I've looked in the manual to see if we've have to switch caller display on but can't find anything. Has anyone got any ideas?
    Thanks in advance

  • First connection to cFP 2200

    Hi,
I'm actually working on a cFP 2200 that is not working. Apparently, the controller lost all its configuration, so I need to reload the configuration inside the controller. The problem is that I have no idea about how to connect to the device, knowing that it doesn't have any IP adress... The manual says that the default adress is 0.0.0.0, and it's not accessible from windows... When I try to use MAX, there are no controllers detected, so I can't really load the configuration...
Does anyone have a user manual explaining how to connect to such a device for the first time?
    Thanks for your help,
    A lost franch guy

    Hi Nicolas,
Are connected directly to the computer? If Yes, it would be great to test with a crossover cable.
You can check some points in the manuel at page 18. (http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/374708c.pdf)
Do you also have an active firewall?
    Thanks

  • How to print on HP LaserJet 2200 over Ethernet?

    Hi,
I did an upgrade to Snow Leopard and would like to print on a HP LaserJet 2200 over Ethernet. OS X and the HP printer drivers are up to date now.
The printer has been cold reset and on the configuration print out there's the IP address 0.0.0.0
Now my question is how to get this printer to work with Snow Leopard over Ethernet? I did not find a tutorial how to assign an IP address to the printer first so I got stuck.
Could you give me a hint where I should start with the configuration first?

    OK, now the printer works
I reset the router and checked if DHPC is running.
I reset the printer (hold down the GO button, turn the printer on and continue to hold the GO button for five to ten seconds).
Checked at router that the printer is visible as network device.
At the router I assigned a fixed IP address to the printer.
At OS X System Preferences > Printer I added a new printer with "HP Jetdirect - Socket", the fixed IP address and the correct printer driver "HP LaserJet 2200".
Now the printer has been recognized well by the system (Tray 3, Duplex and printer RAM) and printing works.
    THANKS.

  • Undecorated JInternalFrame becomes decorated by itself.

    Hi,
I’m facing a problem with JInternalFrame implementation. I have made the JInternalFrame undecorated, so that the title bar and border of the JInternalFrame gets removed. The problem occurs in the following scenario.
*1)     Execute the program in a Windows 7 machine.*
*•     At this point the JInternalFrame remains undecorated.*
*2)     Access the Windows 7 machine using remote desktop sharing from another machine.*
*•     Now the title bar and border of the internal frame becomes visible.*
This issue occurs only in Windows 7 machine, and not in Windows XP. You can access the Windows 7 machine using remote desktop sharing from another Windows 7 machine or Windows XP machine.
Also if you access the machine using remote desktop sharing first, and then execute the program, the JInternalFrame remains undecorated.
    Steps to reproduce
Step 1: Execute the application in a Windows 7 machine.
Step 2: Access the Windows 7 machine using remote desktop sharing from another Windows 7 or Windows XP machine.
Step 3: Check the GUI of the application
Result :- The title bar and border of the undecorated JInternalFrame becomes visible.
If anyone has faced this issue or if anyone has a solution for this issue, kindly share your thoughts.

Thanks a lot for that lead Walter.
Actually when I tried to override updateUI(), I got a NullPoinerException. Instead of that, I tried overriding the paintComponent() method, did the undecoration part in that method and, and called super.paintComponent(g) inside the method. Then the issue was resolved.
Once again, thanks for the quick reply.

    Nancy,
    You are God!
    It worked!
    Thanks.
I have a dumb basic question which is sort of related to your shambles comment, which I don't deny is true.
I am confused about whether style.css files get affiliated with each separate HTML page or whether there is just one style.css file that is affiliated with all my HTML pages. If they are separate CSS files, how do I separate each style.css file?
    Best, P.

  • How can I make a decorative page border in Pages?

How can I make a decorative page border in Pages?

    Hi Janet,
I suppose that you are asking how to include a decorative border of your design into a pages document. How you design that border is rather out of the range of these discussions. So, let's say that you have a graphic that approximates a picture frame and has the required dimensions to frame your content.
If you want to have the graphic appear on every page, Drag or Insert > Choose, to incorporate your design in to the document. The position it as you want it, and then Arrange > Send to Background and Format > Advanced > Move Object to Section Master.
If there is more than one section in your document, there may be more considerations, but if you do this at the outset in the creation of your document, the design of the first section will flow to subsequent sections.
    Regards,
    Jerry

  • Is there any way to create new decorations in LabVIEW 7.1?

I've been reading the discussion threads, and now have a pretty good idea about how to programmatically manipulate the color and visibility of LabVIEW decorations.  The available decorations, however, are fairly limited.  Is there any way to create custom decorations?

You can't create new decorations, but you can import vectoric images (from Office, for example) and use them as decorations (although you can't control their color).
    See here for some examples.

  • A problem with my mifi 2200 need help please

Hey everyone. I came here to get help with my verizon mifi card that all the sudden after such a great run stops working!
I had bought two mifi 2200 cards at the same time about a year ago. All I did was turn them on and was getting Internet connection wirelessly to my ipad right away. My connection worked for ages and never had a problem until recently. One of the cards stopped working roughly about three months ago. I looked around online for things that perhaps was stopping the device from working. I figured that the device was ready for an update and that was prohibiting the device from working, but here is the weird part; the other card (the exact same one) was working when this first card I mentioned wasn't. The card working continued to work until just recently like a day or so ago. Odd right. Anyway, the first card I connected to the USB cord that was provided in the box into my laptop. I was immediatly prompted to download Verizon Manager. My first time ever getting to this step. I was connected to my Internet connection at home via LAN line because that was my only option to Internet. After the software was downloaded, I was prompted to update firmware in which I did, then I was told to update wifi area coverage information which is just that search for finding local wifi spots, the next one is the important one that never seemed to work. The message read somewhere along the lines of you need to update coverage area information as if in there was some new program via coverage to get the stuff to communicate with the device. I said yes and then a message popped up saying Activation and had this bar going side to side, but after a while was told the programming failed. The device has already been activated so I don't understand the reason for the word Activation. Regardless, I tried doing other things I've read on this forum like resetting the device, turning standby mode to never, and so forth, but none worked. The device powers on/everything is on, and I can connect to the device, but I have no Internet. Please, some one tell me what is going on.
Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.

Sounds like you botched a firmware update and bricked your MiFi.
Have you tried contacting VZW for a replacement device yet?

  • How can I show and hide an image or a decoration on the front panel during execution of the vi?

    Hello,
I've made a user interface with a little grafic description.
That description should change depending on user actions, e.g. if the user switches a button, some lines should disappear and some other lines should appear.
I thought some decorations could be shown and hidden via something like a property node, but that is not possible. Images can also not be hidden during execution of the program.
Is there any posibility to change a grafic user interface?

Thanks to Tim for drawing what I suggested as option while I had some real work to do.
There is a trick of overcoming the index problem that was presented/devloped in the forum in the last month's:
You can place the decoration inside a cluster, so you can use the lable of the cluster to adress the decoration you want. The data type of the cluster doesn't mather for this, so you will hide the control/indicator. And you colour the cluster transparent (hint: right click with the coloring tool and use space to toggle).

  • Possible Resolution to MiFi 2200 connection issues when using WiFi

I was having issues connecting to the Internet with my Windows 7 laptop using the MiFi 2200 as a WiFi device.
My WiFi adfapter was retaining the last IP Address it had obtained ... in my case my home network.
Go to a command prompt and do an ipconfig -release followed by ipconfig-renew.
It pulls an address from the MiFi from the DHCP range and works perfectly.
    Hope this works for everyone!

Maybe also check specific for the 2 different tcpip protoclas loaded.. here is the solution that resolved my connection issue:
    Updated Vista Home sp1 to sp2 ( 450+MB download )
Updated Atheros AR5007 drivers to 7.6 , 2008 release... there might be a newer release but I dont want to jack with it now that I'm working.
Check in network connections for wireless connection.
I had 2 TCPIP protocols loaded. v6 and v4 .. v4 had IP and DNS hard set. changed both over to auto assign
WALLA Mifi is now working wirelessly.

  • Cannot print with HP Laserjet 2200 on network

I run software update periodically and downloaded the HP driver update when it was offered.
I uninstalled the Laserjet 2200 that worked with 10.5.8 in the print and fax system preferences and reinstalled it. It is recognized and I get the correct image for the printer, but when I try to print it pauses, I resume printing and it thinks a little and pauses again.
I chose the Laserjet 2200 printer driver, but it does the same with a generic printer driver and the offered alternative Gutenprint driver.
Other users on the network running 10.5.8 have no trouble printing to this printer.
    Thank you

Getting it to work with Windows is super-easy. You'll need to install the printer's drivers and Bonjour for Windows ( http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/windows/bonjourforwindows.html ). Install both of those, open Bonjour, select the printer, done.
I have no experience with Linux, sorry.

  • HP Laserjet 2200 and new JetDirect card and DHCP

We had to replace the JetDirect card in an HP laserjet 2200.  As soon as that was done, the DHCP service will not give it an IP address in our network.  It has an APIPA address 169,254.X.Y.  The printer is in a distant branch office and so before I travel to the office I was hoping for hints on why this might have happened (and if anything can be done remotely).  On the laserjet 2200, there is no LcD panel or display to alter settings, so we must use the web interface, which we cannot get to.  Thanks in advance for anyone's thoughts.
    Marty Franek

It appears this is for a commercial printer.  It would be best to post in the commercial LaserJet forums.
