with the new Internet i got it said that i could download "40 free songs" so i join itunes music store and clicked redeem it says that i need a 12 number code i have a 8 number code
what can i do ???

BT's FAQ for the iTunes promotion says that the email will contain two activations codes, only one of which works with the iTunes Music Store. Are you sure you're using the right code?

I installed a free trial of Adobe Professional XI because I was working from home on a HUGE project. However, it does not work with Publisher and that's what I use. I tried to uninstall the program, but then I lost all of pdf versions of what I spent more than 40 hours working on. I did a restore to previous time, but it did not work. I initially installed it on 1/2/2014. How do I reinstall the program? AND, can I also install Adobe Professional 7 while still keeping the XI version. The 7 version works with Publisher.

some acrobat versions conflict with each other but i think you should be ok with xi.
in any case, uninstalling acrobat would not uninstall any files you created with acrobat. restoring your system to an earlier time however is an issue.

You can create a new Apple ID without using a credit card for download free apps by following this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534. Follow it exactly as writtien. Note that you have to download and try to install a free app and then create the ID.

I cleaned my computer lately and it won't let me open iTunes, saying I don't have the correct permissions, so I backed my iTunes files up and deleted it. Now when I try to install the free download it says 'The installer encountered an error...

The installer for iTunes free download says when installing "The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail." I have been to the help page and run Disk Utility (not sure if that's worked or not) and it still comes up with this. Please help me get iTunes back up and running. Thanks

Go to HD>Library>Receipts - remove the iTunesX.pkg receipt. Drag the iTunes app to the trash.
Repair permissions with Disk Utility - reboot - then try to run the installer.

How can I get past the iTunes page that offers a free download of iTunes 10+ ?

My iMac G5 doesn't have the Intel Processors and it operates on OS X 10.4. Both conditions make it impossible for me to upgrade to iTunes 10. Every time I attempt to log into the iTunes Store, I am given a page that offers me the opportunity to upgrade to iTunes 10+ and I'm not able to get beyond the page and in to the Store. My account is current and I'm not happy with this strategy to make my perfectly good iMac obsolete and force me to buy a new one in order to access the iTunes Store. I need a way to get beyond the page that offers the iTunes 10+ free download, so I can purchase the music I want. Please help me get around this Apple ploy.

Many of us don't like it but innovative Apple staying ahead of the curve means those of us on the other side quickly get ignored. After all, who is it who is spending money on all that hardware and software; the people staying with the newest all the time, or those of us who haven't bought a computer or operating system in 5 years? It's a for-profit company so you can hardly blame them, though it doesn't endear me to the policy of not supporting anything older than 4 years or so.
More in response to your specific issues, with a G5 you can upgrade to OSX 10.5 (which doesn't require Intel except for iCloud and related) which will allow you to run newer iTunes. It's a bit of hassle and some cost.
Alternatively think about buying from some other online retailer such as Amazon and don't forget to write Apple saying what you're doing.

A comment on Niel's suggestion, I don't think anything less than iTunes 10 gives you access to the iTunes store.

Step: 1 Download Pavtube YouTube Converter for Mac, install and launch it.
After launching it, you will see the main interface as below. Now click “Add URL” and go to the window showing in step 2.
Step 2: Add URL, select “Only Download FLV File”
Once you click “Add URL” in the above interface, you will be led to the following window. Copy and paste the URL of the YouTube files which you want to download into the textbox after “URL”.
After that, click on the drop- down list of “Convert to” to select “Only Download FLV File”, and you will see a pop-up panel as below:
In addition, this program will generate a file name and specify a save path by default, if you want to set them in your own ways, you can type your preferred file name into the textbox after “Save as”, and click “Browse” button at the end of “Save to” to look for a folder to load the downloaded YouTube FLV files. After that, you can click “OK” button to begin downloading.
Step 3: Download YouTube files
Once you start, the following interface will appear, which presents you clearly about the download progress. When finished, you can click on the file name, and then click “Open” button to get the downloaded YouTube FLV files. If you do not have a FLV player, this program have one, you can first click on the file name, and then click “Play” button to watch the downloaded file easily.

Licensed version and free download from OTN of Oracle 10g DB

I had a doubt with any difference with the licensed version and free download from OTN of Oracle 10g DB. We had downloaded a free version of oracle 10g
database from OTN and are using it in our live environment. It seems to be working fine. We are trying to get a licensed copy of Oracle 10g DB also but that may take sometime. So, my doubt is whether the free download from OTN should not create any problems in our live environment.
I hope, my question is clear.
Please, help in solving the doubt.

There is no difference whether you download from OTN or get so called licensed copy of oracle software. It's free to download and free to use you are using for personal eduction purpose, but if you are using for commercial purpose then you should contact oracle sales for pricing but you can continue with the same software. I have firefox but cannot get into it for last 2 weeks. It says free download manager is not properly working

I already have firefox but for the last 2 weeks I have not been able to get into it.
I get an errorsaying free download manager is not properly working please reinstall free download manager but i cant do anything.
I have tried to uninstall firefox so I could reinstall it but it wont let me uninstall it either.
