BT Hub 4 Infinity package 2 and CCTV 37777 & 80,...

hi i have set up the port forwarding on the Hub and tried using PF config  i get the message port open but timed out  for ports 37777 and 80    but 8081 ran okay port open on three different programmes.
have suspended firewall on norton 360 and tried firewall off on hub
still no connection for ports 37777 and 80      have input each port sep tcp and udp the only thing i can find is the ISP is blocking the ports i need to be able to access my cctv system as i am disabled and my wife likes to check on me!
 note i can access my cctv in my network but not using an outsside connection!
WHY!!!

In order for me to help, please could you tell me the following information:-
The exact model number of the main unit that the cameras connect into, as the model you specified is not on the Xvision website, but it looks like it used the same settings as the Apollo Zeus clones.
I am assuming that the ports are 37777-37778 TCP and UDP   and port 80 TCP, is that correct? If so, your settings should look like this page.

What is the static IP address that you have configured the base unit to? It woul be best to use 192.168.1.50, as that would tie up with the settings on this page.

Have you forwarded the port numbers to the actual IP address of the base unit, and not its device name?

Has your public IP address changed from what it was last night, ie 81.152.210.xxx (I know the last bit as I got it from my webserver logs)?

    I had infinity 1 installed a week ago and have had major issues ever since, I have intermittent broadband and wifi. After spending two hours last night and five hours this morning, the end result is that nothing has changed and the useless customer service operative I spent five hours with this morning thinks it's my wifi between the hub and my devices. I've proved it's the same on a wired connection so I give up. I've now asked to go back to my hub 4 that worked perfect and I will migrate to sky or Virgin once my old contract expires in December. BT have done them selves no favours but to exploit their inability to rectify an issue they introduced. On top of that I cannot access half of the MY BT services as they cannot locate my account properly. Priceless

    you say you had infinity instaled a week ago but contract ends in december. im hoping you dont mean this december as when you had infinity activated that starts a new contract and i think the minimum is 1 year and you can migrate out without a hefty leaving fee.
    wifi can never be gauranteed and all tests and readings should be done on a wired connection.

  • Incredible Jitter on Infinity package 3 connection...

    I have the Infinity connection package 3, and when it was installed I get/got around 65Mb/s.... logging on today it seemed very slow and laggy, doing the BT Wholesale speed test gives me:
    Download: 34.46
    Upload: 5.52
    Ping Latency: 168.75
    I stream a lot of live gaming, and with this ping latency and poor connection speed it is unusable.
    I also have a ping tool setup to ping each of the live streaming servers, with shows an INCREDIBLE amount of latency and ping delay, even to London (I'm in Norfolk)
    Please can my line be looked at if there is a fault on it, or can you advise me on any wider Infinity outages that could be impacting this.
    The above screenshots, in the past couple of days and my normal service, should be roughly around 30ms Last and Avg to London and Amsterdam with at MAX 2ms jitter.
    Any info you need (Mods), telephone etc, please ask.
    EDIT:
    Ping latency has now fallen to an acceptable normal level, but the jitter to London central is still incredibly high.

    Can you try a direct connection from the modem to the PC to rule out the router as a problem?
    You have to set up a Broadband PPPOE connection using the username [email protected] and any password.

  • How to open and compile a package specification and body in SQL Developer

    I'm currently evaluating a possible migration to SQL Developer.
    Our PL/SQL code base is stored in scripts files named as follows: <schema>.<package_name>_<package|package_body>.sql and managed in SVN.
    If now trying open a sql script containing the package specification or body and trying to compile it, I get no or strange error messages as if SQLDeveloper would not recognize the source as a PL/SQL code.
    If I open an already compiled package from the database it seems to work as expected.
    On the other hand I cannot find any option to write a package specification or body to a script except for the "Save package spec and body" option that only generates a single (!) script containing package specification and body in one single file and without any configuration options on how to name the generated file.
    Any help is appreciated!

    What strange error messages ? Make sure to configure your extensions as PL/SQL file type under Preferences - File Types.
    To save, just Save As under the File menu.

    Uninstall iTunes and Quicktime
    Reboot
    in the task tray right click the quicktime icon and click exit.
    navigate to the folder in program files and remove the quicktime directory and all its files.
    Reboot.
    Now try install iTunes and quicktime and it should work

    Let's check your Windows system.
    1.  Have you done all the important windows updates and service Packs on your system.  If not do it now.  START button, type in Windows Update and ENTER.  Select 'CHECK FOR UPDATES'
    2.  Let's check your Windows system files for possible file corruption
    SCAN and repair possible Windows system file corruption:
    Go to command prompt (START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES right mouse click "command prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator"
    type in
    sfc /scannow
    let Windows fix any system files that need to be repaired.
    Restart the computer if it did actually repair any files.
    3.  Check your system for possible Malware.  But you have to do it in WIndows Safe Mode.
    Start your computer in "Safe mode with networking", go to this link download a free version of Malwarebyte.

    Install and perform update immediately, then do a full SCAN. Remove malware if it indeed finds any. Restart computer to regular windows to let Malwarebyte complete the removal.

    I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

    locate the adobe folder inside the programdata folder, mine was located at "C:\programdata\Adobe"
