BT Sport Order

I think I've ordered online for BT Sport app but how do I check in my account that I have just to confirm it?
Also where do I download the app?

Firstly, I assume you don't have a Sky box? If you do then, as a BT Broadband customer, you get BT Sport for free via Satellite.
For Youview then yes, you do need Infinity, but a basic Infinity 1 connection is sufficient.

  • Can't access BT Sport via PC

    Dear BT,
    I've tried twice now to resolve this via a phone call to BT - both times I got transferred to someone who could supposedly help, but the line went dead. I've also tried via email, which is supposed to get a 24 our response, but so far nothing. I have BT telephone for the past year + BT Unlimited Broadband (ADSL) for the past 3 months.
    I tried accessing the BT Sport live streams (via sport.bt.com), but when I try I get an error message "You do not have BT Sport on this account yet. If you have recently ordered BT Sport, please allow at least 15 minutes for us to update your account. If you haven't ordered BT Sport yet, find out how to get it below.".
    I then found I needed to have the BT Sport ordered, but when I try to put the order in it comes back with "You don't have BT Broadband on this account. If you're a BT Broadband customer please check the account or login details you provided." 
    Well I do have a BT Broadband account and when I spoke to BT personnel they said it looks like there is still an order in progress for my account that has not completed and this is causing the problem. Unfortunately I can't seem to get to anyone to clear this order that doesn't exist.
    Can anyone from BT please help me? I'd really like to watch BT Sport (it was one of the reasons I switched from O2 to BT rather than going to Plusnet). I'm fedup waiting on hold (or getting a callback after an hour), then speaking to someone for up to an hour and then losing the call.

    Well after several hours listening to Mozart in BT Call Centre queues the problem has been resolved. The only problem is I am not sure how it happened!
    I explained my problem to several different call centre staff who just got me to repeat the standard method - trying to activate my BT Sport via the web but with no success.
    In the end I think one of the call centre people put in a manual order for BT Sport on my account and a little later I got an email from BT saying I had placed the order after which I could then watch BT Sport. On MyBT it now shows "I am ready to watch BT Sport".
    Well I say I could watch it - I then started getting the 6025 error messages and went through the deinstall and reinstall of Silverlight which allowed me to watch BT Sport 1 once, but never again - but that is another story!

  • Should my BT Sport subscription show in MyBT?

    Bit concerned about this. I ordered BT sport online and obviously got an order number and printed off all the details etc. But i would have thought it would appear in MyBT under the TV section.
    I just dread turning on the channel on August 1st and it not being there and then some delay while it gets sorted out.
    Does it appear for anyone else? Or is there another way to confirm that the order is there and pending? I notice when I order anything else, such as calling features, it shows as a pending order.

    How do I track my BT Sport order?
    Unfortunately it's not possible to track an order for BT Sport online. We will have sent you an email to confirm your order which contains the information you need.
    If you've ordered BT Broadband or BT TV, you can track these products using our order tracker, but you won't be able to see the BT Sport part of your order.
    Until they take your sub it cannot show up in My BT....

    Since you have proof of ordering before 1 Aug you have legally free for a year BT Sports HD.
    And businesses are supposed to trust BT to help run their business on-line when obviously not all the BT IT systems talk to each other

  • How can I confirm I'm registered for BT Sport?

    In theory I've been registered for BT Sport, but how can I confirm this?
    The confirmation was sent in a separate email when you registered for BT Sport.
    I didn't register separately so received no such email. I asked to be registered as part of setting up a new contract.
    Then the new contract order confirmation should tell you.
    Well it does mention BT Sport, but .... I had a major problem with the ordering system and never actually received the proper order confirmation document either by email or post. The best BT could do was send me a mock up of what they thought it should have looked like.
    Then the online order summary should have told you.
    The order summary didn't mention BT Sport and a link on that page stated that BT Sport order status can't be tracked online.
    Your account details on My BT should show it.
    Nope. My details just say TV Essential. No mention of the Extra channels or other sports channels I currently have, never mind BT Sport.
    Your bill should show the charge and discount for the BT Sport pack.
    That is what I would have thought, but I got a new monthly bill the other day and there is no mention of BT Sport.
    Ok, the MLTV1 Entitlement on the box tells you.
    Well, no it doesn't. Some people have mentioned that theirs includes 'BT Sport'. Mine currently doesn't include that (or a temporary number that might change into that).
    Check that you can view the channels on 943 - 946
    Well yes, I can view the promotional videos, but that doesn't guarantee I'll be able to continue to view those channels (and ESPN on 941, 942) once they launch properly on Aug 1st.
    Why have BT made it seemingly so difficult to confirm such a simple thing?

    Most people now know that minimum-period contracts can no longer be reimposed on expiry without the specific agreement of the customer.     We don't know yet whether BT are going to continue to provide BT Sport free to all broadband customers after July 2014. If they start charging, I would imagine that anyone who ordered it (as opposed to some customers who were given it without asking) would start to be charged, along with the standard charges for the other elements of their service. That's why it's shown on the bill as a charge and discount. It's important to remember that ordering means you accept the Terms & Conditions, which make it clear that BTS is a chargeable service.
    The HD offer is different in that you didn't have to ask for it prior to 1 August 2013. It was effectively a gift, and BT would not have the right to start charging for it on expiry of your contract unless you specifically ask for it.
    There's an element of thinking out loud in that, but I'm proceeding on the basis that it's how BT are going to play it.

    I keep getting to the final page and i get a "Technical Error" and then the message that i can still order online?!!!!??!?!
    I have BT infinity 2 ect and i am logged into MY BT account.
    Please Help!

  • Absolute Joke - should i back out now !!!!!!!!!!!!...

    Ordered Infinity 2 on 30th July to get hd sport, order went through okay.
    Supplied MAC on 2nd August
    Check order progress online on 4th and website said no order could be found but closed sunday so could not ring
    now 5th been on phone for 35 minutes to finally speak to some overseas agent who spoke very poor english and he was saying something about cancelled sport but could not explain then said ill pass you to infinity team and cut me off to another queue which i have now been in for 15 minutes.
    I have had NO EMAILS apart from the originl order one either.
    This company is already the WORST i have dealt with during a order (its normally after sales that are bad with companies)
    As I am waiting I am now wondering if i should just stay with the excellent BE internet i have been with for 4 years.

    Yeah I have been with BE from the very early days and thay have been the best but as another mentioned they are slowly becomming just another ISP.
    There support was the best ever, now it is still good but nowhere near as good as it used to be.
    anyways UPDATE to my original post.
    I eventually got to speak to a nice lady in the sales team and she checked and could see the order was cancelled automatically by the system but it gave NO indication as to why.
    So she suggested we go through placing a new order after confirming I will still get my voucher and HD sport free.
    We placed the order with exactly the same details MAC and all and it all went through and gave an installation date of the 20th (a day earlier than originally offered)
    So I am now awaiting the installation.
    Just checked the order and **bleep** it she has messed it up again, I am already a BT phone customer on the evening and weekends package and she as downgraded my service to weekend only calls ARRRGGGHHH can this comapny do ANYTHING RIGHT?????
    Looks like another 1.5 hours on the phone again tomorrow now (can i charge them for my time )
    I amtually becomming more hesitent by the day, i have had a stable 16.7mb connection via BE for over 4 years with only two minor line issues (that sorted itself out) in all that time.
    I have had to contact BT twice and speak to 4 or 5 different people just to get the order completed?
    I think this is 50% of the contacts I have had with BE in over 4 years.
    Oh yeah another thing the BT Sport activated on the card I gave details for but is has not activated on my Multiroom card, do I need to chase them up for this also?

    I'd just like a bit of help clarifying something up as i'm struggling to understand how this works, so i've looked at the FAQ about the BT Sport App and found this:
    Who can get the BT Sport App?
    The BT Sport App and online access at btsport.com is included when you take the BT Sport Pack on the Sky Digital Satellite Platform or BT TV.
    If you're a BT Broadband customer but not a BT Sport television channel subscriber, you can add the BT Sport App and online access to your BT products by logging into My BT on or after 1 August. Then simply download the app from your device's app store, or go to btsport.com from 1 August to start viewing.
    Now I don't have BT Broadband/TV or anything but i'd really like to get BT Sport as it's now my only way to watch UFC, my grandad has Sky TV with sky sports at the moment and I use his Sky Go to watch the footy
    If I order BT Sport from his Sky account and pay the 12£ per month for bt sport, can I use the BT Sport App to watch the UFC/Footy etc?
    Can I get the BT Sport App if I order BT Sport on Sky is what i'm basically asking haha

    Unfortunately no. I asked the same question when I went to the local Apple Store for my "try on" and as of now you would have to order the watch with the metal link band and the black sports band separately.

    I'm confused. I ordered BT Broadband on Sunday and am sure that somewhere I saw that I could have BT Sport on my SKY digital platform within 24 hours? Two days on it hasn't happened. The helpful people on the BT phone lines have told me after taking my SKY card details that it will happen in 30 minutes, it didn't . And in a marathon hour long call this evening ended up with me being told that I would only be able to watchbBT Sport on my TV when my broadband is activated on 17th Feb. However in an email exchange with BT just now says I should be able to watch BT Sport within 24 hours of placing an order! Who is right? Help me out here, I'm losing the will to live!

    Well, it's the 10th September, and my BT Broadband is finally activated; but still no BT Sport via the Sky box
    I've tried to link my Sky viewing card to mt BT account online, but I just get the message 
    "Good news!You've already got access to BT Sport. Watch online at btsport.com or via our Apple and Android apps. If you'd like to talk to us about upgrading your BT Sport Pack so you can watch via your TV please call us on 0800 731 0286."
    What? I don't want to watch on a computer or phone. I want to watch it on my TV.
    Anyway, I called the number, waited on hold for 26 minutes before being cut off.

  • Error CON-0104 - Can't order Sport online or by Ph...

    I've been a Vision and Infinity subscriber for a while and use my ESPN viewing card all the time. I've been trying to order Sport since July but can't complete the order. Every time I try online I get "CON-0104" please call us. Every time I phone I get "Due to unprecendented demand for Sport... Please try later" Is there somethign I can do to complete my order online? It really shouldn't be this hard.....

    Theres not one single Dept in BT that gives a damm that someone in BT has wrongly cross referenced orderes to email addresses and thus their system will not let you verify you are the account holder in order to get to the page where you enter your pin number
    My E Mail order confirmation is 100% correct
    but letter containing PIN number has a different name but correct address
    Problem supposedly has been escalated to 1st Level 2
    Then above Level 2
    but still after 12 hours of time wasated on phone calls and 2 unanswered e mail complaints i still cannot get BT Sport for the weekends football  which is why i ordered it
